Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to evaluate and compare the effectiveness of flotation, filtration, and combined flotation–filtration processes in removing iron (Fe) and reducing Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) from synthetic wastewater. Methodology: This study employed flotation, filtration, and combined flotation–filtration methods using a ceramic membrane filtration unit, vacuum pump, air–ozone generator, and synthetic wastewater containing Fe, zeolite, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS), and Poly-Aluminum Chloride (PAC). Data were analyzed using concentration measurement and percentage removal efficiency calculations. Main Findings: The combined flotation–filtration process showed the highest performance, achieving Fe removal efficiency of 94.74% with final concentration of 5.26 mg/L. Filtration and flotation showed lower efficiencies. COD reduction was more stable in filtration but more effective initially in flotation–filtration. Membrane fouling was lower in flotation–filtration, resulting in higher permeate volume compared to filtration alone. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study presents a simultaneous flotation–filtration system integrated with air–ozone injection to enhance pollutant removal and reduce membrane fouling. It highlights the dual role of air–ozone as an oxidizing and cleaning agent, offering improved efficiency and membrane durability compared to conventional single-process methods.

Abstract

TKA-TPA data management is performed conventionally and inaccurately. Accordingly, it may result in considerable data loss. Data collection for TKA-TPA by BADKO Kasihan Bantul Yogyakarta is still carried out conventionally. Therefore, this study supports BADKO TKA-TPA in data management, data reporting, data mapping, and data publication. A Web Geographic Information System (GIS) was created using the CodeIgniter framework with the Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) programming language, MapBox on the Maps API Service, MySQL database, and the SDLC with the prototype method. The study result is a web-based GIS application. This GIS application has been successfully built and can be used by BADKO TKA-TPA Kasihan Bantul Yogyakarta for its data management and mapping system.

Abstract

Commencing with dawn, zuhr, asr, maghrib, and concluding with isha, obligatory prayers are conducted five times a day. These are the first worship that will be weighed on the last day. Printed materials are frequently utilized to teach the practice of praying. It is feasible, however, to produce a monotonous quantity of learning. Today, technology development and information have influenced an individual’s learning style and behavior. In order to provide an exciting and engaging learning environment, this study designed a mobile learning application for obligatory prayer practice. This study employed an experimental method to develop the application and questionnaires to collect the data. The application could display readings of prayers, images of the prayer movement, videos of the prayer movement, and audio readings of prayers, as well as some of the most influential summaries, positions, and laws for leaving a prayer.

Abstract

Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS), or the National Amil Zakat Agency, is housed in Kendari City, particularly in the Anduonohu area. BAZNAS is a non-structural government institution independent and responsible to the Ministry of Religious Affairs. It faces several issues with data processing using Microsoft Excel, such as the difficulty of zakat data administration, the time and effort required to create reports, the slowness of search results, and the absence of a database. By developing a web-based zakat information and calculation system at BAZNAS of Kendari City with the Laravel framework, this study aims to discover solutions to issues experienced. The research framework for addressing the issues raised at BAZNAS of Kendari City included problem identification, theoretical foundation-based information searches, data collection through observation and interviews, and application development. Prototyping was utilized as a part of the system development, employing PHP, the Laravel framework and a MySQL database. Black-box testing was applied to ensure everything was working as intended. The test findings unveiled that the web-based zakat information and calculation system at BAZNAS of Kendari City functioned properly.

Abstract

Cognitive impairment is one of the negative effects of schizophrenia. To treat this, cognitive remediation could serve as an option to improve the cognitive performance of the sufferers. In this line, Doctor Herdaetha developed a computer-based game module to assist psychiatrists in performing cognitive remediation treatment during the recovery period of patients. However, patients could not utilize the game module without the assistance of psychiatrists, making it ineffective and inefficient. Given these considerations, a mobile Selecting Tool game was created as an independent cognitive remediation medium for schizophrenia patients during their recovery period. The game was created using a waterfall model and involved multiple review and discussion sessions with psychiatrists. The results revealed that the game was well-functioning and could be played independently.

Abstract

Abstract This article examines one of the Saheeh hadith about women as the majority of the inhabitants of Hell and its weakness from the side of reason and religion. The hadith is judged by feminists as a misogynistic hadith. In this paper, the author examines the hadith from its takhreej, then analyses the isnaad and matan and exposes the sharh of the scholars.In each discussion the author also sought to relate it to the contemporary context while giving a critical notes of the feminists ' understanding of the hadith. Through this brief study, it can be concluded that what feminists accused that this hadith is misogynistic is not true. Their judgment is that the hadith is of questionable quality, unreasonable, and irrelevant to the context of the present because it discredits women, as well as improper assumptions. After the study carefully, it can be concluded that from the quality, this hadith should not be questioned again his validity because he narrated by Bukhari and Muslim and other scholars in al- Kutub al-Tis'ah. It is also from the side of matan. There is no representation of this hadith that women are imperfect or inferior beings. This understanding can be achieved, when the hadith is well understood, comprehensive, holistic and neither partial nor atomistic, nor seasoned with the spirit of humanism or Western feminism that is absolutely not essentially in Islam. Islam is a religion that is very upholding the degree and dignity of women. There is no verse found in the Qur'an or hadith which degrading or discredits women as accused by feminists.

Abstract

This article seeks to highlight and provide answers to the controversial opinions that have recently been frequently campaigned by some liberal Muslim figures that the Qur'an recognizes the existence and truth of previous scriptures such as the Bible. They use several verses in the Qur'an, 5:44, 46-47 and 66, to justify the above opinions supported by partial interpretation experts under their understanding and purpose. In this study, the author used the library research method, which is research-based on library studies. The approach used is descriptive-analytical, which describes existing data sources, then analyzed and interpreted using available data sources. The opinion of liberal Islamic thinkers that it is enough for the Jews to use the Torah in carrying out religious law, and the Christians that they simply follow the rules in the Bible, this is because their methodology in understanding the verse is wrong. They did not explain at all the abuses committed by Jews and Christians. Including their defiance of Allah's command and about the guidance of the coming of the Prophet Muhammad with his perfect and universal sharia, which they are obliged to follow and obey, which is the information contained in their holy book. In understanding the verses of the Qur'an, they do not use methodological steps that can be accounted for in the discipline of interpretation. Contextual schools are emphasized for several texts that are alleged to be anti-religious pluralism. While on the other hand, literal schools are applied to verses that support the notion of religious pluralism.   Artikel ini berupaya untuk mengetengahkan dan memberikan jawaban atas pendapat kontroversial yang belakangan ini sering dikampanyekan oleh beberapa tokoh muslim liberal bahwa al-Qur’an mengakui eksistensi dan kebenaran kitab suci sebelumnya seperti Bibel. Mereka menggunakan beberapa ayat dalam QS. Al-Ma’idah [5]: 44, 46-47, dan ayat ke-66 untuk menjustifikasi pendapat di atas didukung dengan menukil pendapat dari para ahli tafsir secara parsial sesuai dengan paham dan tujuan mereka. Pada penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan metode library research, yakni penelitian yang didasarkan pada studi pustaka. Adapun pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif-analitis, yaitu mendeskripsikan sumber data yang ada, kemudian dianalisis dan diinterpretasikan dengan menggunakan sumber data yang tersedia. Pendapat para pemikir Islam liberal bahwa kaum Yahudi cukup berhukum dengan Taurat begitu pula kaum Nasrani, yang katanya cukup berhukum dengan Injil atau Bibel, dikarenakan mereka cacat secara metodologis dalam memahami ayat tersebut. Mereka sama sekali tidak menerangkan tentang penyelewengan yang dilakukan orang-orang Yahudi dan Nasrani. Termasuk tentang pembangkangan mereka terhadap perintah Allah dan tentang petunjuk akan datangnya Nabi Muhammad saw. dengan syariatnya yang sempurna dan universal yang wajib diikuti dan ditaati oleh mereka, yang mana informasi tersebut terdapat di dalam kitab mereka. Dalam memahami ayat-ayat al-Quran, mereka tidak menggunakan ukuran metodologis yang dapat dipertanggungjawabkan secara disiplin ilmu tafsir. Mazhab kontekstual ditekankan untuk sejumlah teks yang diduga anti kemajemukan beragama. Sementara di sisi lain, mazhab literal diterapkan untuk ayat-ayat yang mendukung paham pluralism agama.
