Abstract

This study aims to 1) Describe the difficulty of story problems based on Newman's theory of whole number material for grade V of SDN Blekatuk, 2) Know the factors that influence students to solve story problems based on Newman's theory of whole number material for grade V of SDN Blekatuk. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method. The subjects of this study were 23 fifth grade students of Blekatuk State Elementary School and 5 students were taken according to high, medium and low difficulty. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews, documentation, and data recording cards. The research instrument used data recording cards, observations and interviews. The results of the study showed that: 1) students with high difficulty, subject 1, had not been able to understand the problem, transformation, process skills and writing answers. While students with subject 2 had not met the indicators of understanding the problem, students had difficulty performing process skills and writing answers. Students with moderate difficulty were two students, subjects 3 & 4 had not met the indicators of understanding the problem, students had difficulty performing process skills and writing answers. One student with low difficulty had not met the indicators of understanding the problem. 2) Internal and external factors influencing students' difficulties in solving word problems on whole numbers: internal factors, interest in learning mathematics, attitudes toward learning mathematics, and motivation to learn mathematics. External factors, learning methods and media, classroom atmosphere, and family environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of LOC, self-efficacy, and organizational justice on employee performance with OCB as a mediating variable among employees in the cutting department of PT. Hyup Sung Indonesia. This study uses quantitative research with saturated sampling or census method. The population consists of 132 employees in the cutting department. Data were collected using direct questionnaires. Data analysis used SEM-PLS. The results show that LOC does not significantly affect employee performance, but has a positive and significant effect on OCB. Self-efficacy and organizational justice positively and significantly affect employee performance and OCB. OCB positively and significantly affects employee performance and mediates the effects of self-efficacy and organizational justice on employee performance, but does not mediate the effects of LOC. The analysis results show that organizational justice is the most influential variable in improving employee performance, both directly and through the mediating role of OCB. This study contributes to strengthening human resource studies through the role of OCB in improving performance. The findings of this study also provide guidelines for organizations in improving fairness practices to encourage positive work behavior.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to develop and evaluate the feasibility of a game-based interactive puzzle learning media designed to foster critical thinking skills in fifth-grade elementary students. The media are used in the instructional topic “Creating Artworks from Household Waste Materials” to enhance students’ critical reasoning abilities. Methodology: This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach based on the ADDIE framework, comprising analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The participants were 20 fifth-grade students. Data were gathered through expert validation forms, teacher and student questionnaires, and pretest–posttest instruments, and then analyzed using Likert-scale scoring and N-Gain testing. Main Findings: The validation results indicated an average score of 4.56 from the material expert, 4.57 from the media expert, and 4.46 from the practitioner, all categorized as highly feasible. Teacher responses reached 97%, while student responses in the limited trial and field trial were 100% and 99%, respectively, indicating a very high level of practicality. The effectiveness of the media was demonstrated by N-Gain scores of 81.90% in the limited trial and 79.28% in the field trial, both of which were classified as high. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study introduces a game-based interactive puzzle media integrated with critical thinking indicators in elementary school visual arts instruction. The media emphasizes not only creativity but also the development of students’ critical thinking skills through contextual problem-solving activities that use household waste materials.

Abstract

Anis Budiarti. "Implementation of the Think Pair Share Type Cooperative Learning Model to Increase the Activeness and Learning Outcomes of Science Material for Class IV Students at Bayan State Elementary School." Thesis. Primary teacher education. FKIP, Muhammadiyah University Purworejo.2026. This research aims to 1) determine the implementation of teacher learning activities and student activities, 2) determine the increase in activeness and 3) the learning outcomes of students' science material through the think pair share model. The type of research used is PTK using a think pair share type cooperative model. The research subjects were class IV students at Bayan State Elementary School for the 2025/2026 academic year with a total of 25 students. Data collection techniques: observation, interviews, tests, documentation. Data collection instruments: interview sheets, activity observation sheets, learning implementation sheets for teacher activities and student activities, test sheets, documentation. The results of this research are 1) In cycle I, the implementation of educator activities was 63% to 72%, an average of 67.5%. In cycle II, 83% became 94%, an average of 88.5%. In the implementation of student activities at meeting I, 40% rose to 54%, an average of 47%. In cycle II, 78.5% rose to 90%, an average of 84.3%. 2) In pre-cycle activity, it was 37%, cycle I rose to 42.08%, and cycle II rose to 82%. The result is an increase in the percentage of activity by 39.2%. 3) The pre-cycle learning outcomes obtained an average of 50, the first cycle averaged 60.8 and the second cycle averaged 86. So, student learning outcomes increased from cycles I and II by 25.2. Thus, the application of the think pair share type cooperative model can increase the activity and learning outcomes of class IV at SD Negeri Bayan.

Abstract

Retail Micro, Small, And Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) or traditional grocery store often face operational problems especially in process of recording sales data and stock management that still done manually. Manual recording sales data and stock management leads to data is not accurate, taking a lot of time to finish, difficult to monitor stock inventory and report. Those problems encourage to develop solutions which are Point of Sale (POS) Android application. POS applications developed using Waterfall method alongside MySQL and Laravel framework for back end, and Kotlin used for front end. This application will have three main features, namely managing stock availability, recording the sales data and making periodic reports. Based on user testing that has been carried out and functional testing, this application is working well and can help with data collection on stock procurement, sales and generating periodic reports. Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) ritel atau toko kelontong sering menghadapi masalah operasional terutama dalam proses pendataan penjualan dan pengelolaan stok yang masih dilakukan secara manual. Pendataan penjualan dan pengelolaan stok manual menyebabkan data tidak akurat, memakan waktu, sulitnya memantau persediaan dan laporan. Permasalahan tersebut mendorong pembangunan solusi yang berupa aplikasi Point of Sale (POS) sekaligus inventaris berbasis Android. Metode Waterfall digunakan untuk pengembangan aplikasi disertai dengan penggunaan MySQL dan framework Laravel untuk bagian backend dan Kotlin untuk frontend. Aplikasi memiliki tiga fitur utama yaitu mengelola ketersediaan stok, mendata proses penjualan, dan membuat laporan periodik. Berdasarkan pengujian terhadap pengguna dan pengujian fungsionalitas, aplikasi ini sudah berfungsi dengan baik dan dapat membantu proses pendataan pengadaan stok, transaksi penjualan stok dan mempermudah proses pembuatan laporan periodik.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has a variety of cultures, not least the culture that is spread on the island of Java. Javanese people's thoughts include dances, ancient texts, Javanese script, folklore, kidung, geguritan and many more. Novel is a type of Javanese literary work in the form of prose. The story in the novel is the result of the work of imagination that discusses the problems of a person's life or various characters. The story in the novel begins with the emergence of problems experienced by the character and ends with solving the problem. In a novel, of course, there are several elements, both intrinsic and extrinsic. And in this study, the author will analyze some Javanese vocabulary and the language style in the novel Para Priyayi by Umar Kayam. Style of language can also be called figure of speech is the use of the wealth of language, the use of a certain variety to obtain certain effects that can make a literary work look alive, the overall language characteristics of a group of literary writers and the distinctive way of conveying thoughts and feelings, both orally and in writing.

Abstract

Digitalisasi pemasaran telah membuka peluang besar bagi Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) untuk memperluas jangkauan pasar, namun sebagian besar UMKM binaan Aisyiyah di Kabupaten Banyumas belum memiliki identitas merek (branding) halal yang kuat dan belum mampu menyusun storytelling Islami yang efektif untuk mengomunikasikan nilai produknya. Artikel ini membahas proses, hasil, dan pembelajaran dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berjudul “Penguatan Branding Halal dan Storytelling Islami Produk UMKM Aisyiyah di Kabupaten Banyumas” yang dilaksanakan selama 8 bulan (Maret–Oktober 2026) oleh tim dosen dan mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto, melibatkan 35 pelaku UMKM binaan Aisyiyah. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui empat tahap: asesmen kebutuhan mitra, pelatihan branding halal, pelatihan dan lokakarya storytelling Islami, serta pendampingan penerapan. Hasil evaluasi pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan skor pemahaman rata-rata dari 33,0 menjadi 82,8 (naik 150,8%), dengan 83,3% peserta mampu menyusun narasi storytelling produk secara mandiri, melampaui target 80%. Artikel ini menganalisis peran penguatan identitas nilai Islami dalam merek UMKM sebagai strategi diferensiasi produk dan merumuskan implikasi praktis bagi replikasi program pada kelompok UMKM berbasis komunitas keagamaan lainnya.

Abstract

Challenges in character formation in which children and adolescents are exposed to various negative influences from their surroundings, obscuring their understanding of right and wrong, as well as a lack of understanding of religious concepts and environmental influences that affect character application. The purpose of this study is to discuss the understanding of the concept of Siratal Mustaqim in Al-An'am verse 151-153 and its implications in character education. The prohibition of association with God, the prohibiting of disobedience to parents, and the ban on killing children for the sake of poverty are key to forming a moral and ethical character for students. Besides, the command to perfect the scale, to speak honestly, and to keep promises are also important aspects in the formation of a good character. Character education that matches the concept of Siratal Mustaqim has profound implications in shaping individuals who are moral, ethical, and fearful.
