Abstract

Pelayanan kesehatan yang efektif dan bermutu di rumah sakit memerlukan penerapan clinical pathway (CP) yang baik, namun di RSUD dr. Soekardjo penerapan CP belum optimal dan hanya digunakan untuk kepentingan akreditasi. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi implementasi pengisian CP, baik manual maupun elektronik, dengan fokus pada kasus Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi CP, uji coba sistem informasi CP elektronik terintegrasi (SIE-CPat), serta diskusi dan wawancara mendalam dengan tenaga kesehatan terkait. Hasil dari kegiatan menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi dari peserta, dan sistem CP elektronik yang diuji coba dapat digunakan dengan mudah oleh berbagai peran, seperti dokter dan perawat. Ditemukan bahwa validasi dan penyesuaian warna pada SIE-CPat perlu disesuaikan dengan standar dan kebijakan CP BPH di rumah sakit, serta dibutuhkan penambahan kolom untuk mencatat hal-hal yang tidak sesuai dengan CP. Kesimpulannya, implementasi SIE-CPat sejalan dengan CP manual dan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan di rumah sakit. Saran yang diberikan adalah perlunya legalisasi prosedur pengisian CP dan sosialisasi berkelanjutan untuk memastikan penggunaan CP yang lebih efektif di masa mendatang.

Abstract

In the learning process, the active learning of students is important to create meaningful and learner-centered learning by activities. Active students will find it easier to understand learning material because they experience learning directly so that they can achieve optimal learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which the increase in student learning activeness through the implementation of the discovery learning model assisted by instructional media in Pancasila education subjects in class IV SDN 19 Jambi City. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in 2 cycles. In this study, researchers used observation sheets as research instruments. The observation sheet used consists of several assessment indicators that can measure the learning activeness of students. The results showed that the discovery learning model assisted by instructional media could increase the learning activeness of students, in cycle 1 there was a frequency of 12 active students with a percentage of 57.24%. Then in cycle 2 the frequency increased to 17 students with a percentage reaching 81.09%. So it can be seen that the frequency of students increased from 12 to 17 students. Based on the observation results, it can also be seen that students have high enthusiasm to be actively involved in learning activities. So it can be concluded that the discovery learning model with the help of learning media can increase the learning activeness of students.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 19/IV Jambi. The aim of this study is to improve students’ mathematics learning outcomes by using a problem-based learning (PBL) model integrated with differentiated and social-emotional learning. The research method employed was classroom action research focused on improving the quality of the learning process by following these steps: (1) planning, (2) action implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. Data collection techniques used were observation and written tests with rubric instruments, multiple-choice, and short answer questions. The data analysis technique used was descriptive qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of this study indicate an improvement in students’ learning outcomes after the application of the problem-based learning model integrated with differentiated and social-emotional learning. The average pre-cycle learning outcome score was only 56.19 with a learning objective achievement percentage of 28.57%, while in cycle I after the intervention, the average learning outcome score was 71.9 with a learning objective achievement percentage of 66.66%, and in cycle II there was an increase in the average learning outcome score to 80, with a learning objective achievement percentage of 90.47%. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of the problem-based learning model integrated with differentiated and social-emotional learning can improve the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students.

Abstract

Dr. Soekardjo Hospital has a clinical pathway that is currently used mainly as a requirement for accreditation rather than as a service guideline. Previous studies have found that several clinical pathway procedures were overlooked, posing a risk of potential fraud. Under the Case Base Group-based National Health Insurance system, which demands cost efficiency and quality control, clinical pathways must be understood and implemented by healthcare professionals to optimise patient care. This study aimed to analyse the knowledge and attitudes of medical practitioners toward clinical pathway strategies. A quantitative research design was applied, with data collected through questionnaires completed by 30 respondents. Univariate analysis was used to describe respondent characteristics, while bivariate analysis with the chi-square test assessed variable relationships. The findings showed no significant association between education level, profession, or years of service with practitioners' knowledge and attitudes. However, a significant relationship was found between knowledge and attitude, indicating that better knowledge leads to a more positive attitude toward clinical pathway adoption. Therefore, improving knowledge is crucial. Training programmes should be developed to enhance the understanding and attitudes of medical practitioners to support the effective and consistent implementation of clinical pathways in hospital settings.

Abstract

Nutritional status in toddlers is a critical indicator of health and development, particularly among those with a history of Low Birth Weight (LBW), who are at higher risk of experiencing growth and nutritional issues. This study aims to describe the nutritional status of children aged 1–5 years with a history of LBW at Posyandu Catleya 95B, Jember Regency. A quantitative descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach was used. The sample consisted of 21 toddlers selected through total sampling. Data were collected using anthropometric measurements and analyzed based on WHO standards. The results showed that most children were aged 3–5 years (57.2%) and were female (52.3%). Regarding nutritional status, the majority had normal nutritional status (81%), while 14.2% were undernourished and 4.8% were overweight. No cases of severe malnutrition were found. These findings suggest that while most toddlers with a history of LBW have achieved normal nutritional status, ongoing monitoring and nutritional interventions remain essential to prevent future nutritional problems.

Abstract

Normalisasi sungai berbasis ekosistem menjadi pendekatan berkelanjutan dalam mengatasi permasalahan lingkungan akibat pertumbuhan eceng gondok yang tidak terkendali. Sungai Alue Masyik di Desa Alue Gunto, Kecamatan Syamtalira Aron, mengalami pendangkalan dan penyempitan aliran akibat akumulasi eceng gondok, yang berpotensi meningkatkan risiko banjir serta menurunkan kualitas ekosistem perairan. Program normalisasi sungai yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengurangi dampak negatif tersebut melalui pengelolaan eceng gondok yang sistematis dan berkelanjutan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengurangan penumpukan eceng gondok berdampak positif terhadap kelancaran aliran sungai, pemulihan ekosistem, serta peningkatan kualitas air. Pengelolaan yang terkontrol, termasuk pemangkasan rutin dan pemanfaatan eceng gondok sebagai bahan kompos, berkontribusi dalam menjaga keseimbangan ekosistem serta mengurangi pencemaran akibat pembusukan tanaman. Selain itu, keterlibatan masyarakat dalam pengelolaan eceng gondok meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan serta memberikan manfaat sosial dan ekonomi. Pemanfaatan eceng gondok sebagai kompos tidak hanya meningkatkan produktivitas pertanian, tetapi juga membuka peluang ekonomi bagi masyarakat lokal. Program normalisasi sungai ini memiliki dampak luas, baik dari segi lingkungan, sosial, maupun ekonomi. Peningkatan kualitas air mendukung keberlanjutan ekosistem perairan dan sektor perikanan, sementara manfaat ekonomi dari kompos dan hasil pertanian yang lebih baik turut meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Meskipun demikian, tantangan utama dalam pengelolaan eceng gondok adalah perlunya pemeliharaan rutin untuk mencegah pertumbuhan kembali yang tidak terkendali. Oleh karena itu, keberlanjutan program ini memerlukan koordinasi yang baik antara pemerintah, masyarakat, dan pemangku kepentingan lainnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh modul pembelajaran berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika siswa kelas X pada materi Hukum Newton di SMA Negeri 2 Tanjungbalai. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment dengan teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara cluster random sampling dengan mengambil 2 kelas sampel yaitu kelas X-3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan menerapkan modul pembelajaran berbasis PBL dan kelas X-4 sebagai kelas control dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa adalah tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah dalam bentuk essai berjumlah 10 soal. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap hasil kemampuan pemecahan masalah.

Abstract

The current high consumption of sweetened beverages and foods has contributed to the high mortality and morbidity rates caused by overweight and obesity, as well as non-communicable diseases such as diabetes mellitus and cardiovascular disease. This situation is a global concern. Excessive consumption of sweetened foods and drinks has become a serious health problem. Furthermore, various complications resulting from uncontrolled high blood sugar levels also pose a serious challenge because they can lead to various comorbidities. Therefore, the public urgently needs clear and adequate information and knowledge on how to prevent diabetes mellitus, including how to maintain normal blood glucose levels. This community service aims to reduce the incidence of DM in general, and make the public more aware of its dangers through education on early detection and prevention of DM. This method uses counseling on health education or education on DM prevention and its prevention. This includes patient screening, PowerPoint presentations, and leaflets. Community participation is documented and evaluated to assess their knowledge of diabetes. This activity results in increased knowledge after the counseling. So this activity can be a solution and intervention option to improve the quality of people's lives with adequate knowledge

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model on students' reading comprehension skills. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The study population was all students at the elementary school where the study was conducted, with a sample of 58 students selected using purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out through tests and non-tests. Data analysis used prerequisite tests, including the homogeneity test, the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, and the Levene test. To test the effectiveness of the learning model, parametric tests were used: the independent sample t-test and simple linear regression with the help of IBM SPSS version 27. The results of the study indicate that the application of the CIRC learning model has a positive influence on students' reading comprehension skills and produces a significant difference in reading comprehension skills between the experimental class and the control class. This model is effective because it involves integrated reading, writing, and discussion activities, thus helping students understand the content of the reading better. Learning with this model also encourages students to be active in finding important information and drawing conclusions from the reading. These findings indicate that the CIRC model can be an alternative learning method to improve reading comprehension skills in Indonesian subjects

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low mathematics learning outcomes of students. The study aims to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of students by implementing differentiated learning using the Problem-Based Learning model in Class IV of SDN 19 Jambi. This study is a Classroom Action Research consisting of two cycles. Based on the observation results of teacher activities in Cycle I, 78% were categorized as good, and in Cycle II, it increased to 85%. Based on the research data, the test results in the form of evaluation questions to determine student learning outcomes in Cycle I were 57%, and in Cycle II, it increased to 76%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of differentiated learning using the Problem-Based Learning model can improve the mathematics learning outcomes of Class IV SDN 19 Jambi.
