Abstract

Ritual Barong Wae merupakan salah satu ritual yang sampai sekarang masih dipertahankan di Kabupaten Manggarai, Nusa Tenggara Timur. Bagi masyarakat Manggarai, ritual ini merupakan warisan budaya yang begitu luhur sehingga dipraktikkan dan dilestarikan secara turun-temurun. Bahkan, ritual ini mendapat tempat yang istimewa di kalangan masyarakat Manggarai karena mengungkapkan relasi mereka dengan Yang Ilahi (Mori Kraeng/Mori Dewa Wae), alam semesta, dan para leluhur. Ketiga aspek ini menjadi penting dalam menjalankan ritual ini. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui studi pustaka, wawancara, dan pengalaman langsung, tulisan ini bertujuan untuk secara khusus menganalisis dan menemukan paham ketuhanan dalam ritual Barong Wae. Melalui studi yang mendalam tentang ritual Barong Wae, ditemukan tentang nama, sifat dan peran Yang Ilahi dalam kehidupan masyarakat Manggarai. Selain Tuhan Pencipta yang mereka sebut Mori Kraeng, mereka juga memiliki Tuhan Penjaga Air yang disebut dengan istilah Mori Dewa Wae. Mori Dewa Waeini memiliki peran penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, yaitu menjaga sumber-sumber mata air tetap hidup sehingga mencukupi kebutuhan masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, sebagai ungkapan syukur dan untuk menghormatinya, masyarakat Manggarai melakukan ritual Barong Wae.

Abstract

Each religious tradition has its own name for Hyang Ilahi. In general, the figure of Hyang Ilahi is commonly referred to as God, Allah, Gusti, dewa, and others. These names indicate the relationship and understanding of a particular society or community towards the Divine Being. This research using qualitative methods through literature study, field observations, and interviews aims to explain the understanding of divinity in Aluk To Dolo Religious tradition, especially the existence of Puang Matua. The results show that the Aluk To Dolo Religious tradition has a divine figure that they worship and praise, namely Puang Matua. Aluk To Dolo adherents always aim for unity with Puang Matua through all the rules of life that have been passed down by Puang Matua as norms that must be obeyed. In addition, they hope to be reunited and live with Puang Matua.AbstrakSetiap aliran kepercayaan memiliki penyebutan masing-masing untuk Hyang Ilahi. Secara umum, sosok Hyang Ilahi ini ini biasa disebut dengan nama Tuhan, Allah, Gusti, dewa, dan lain-lain. Nama-nama ini menunjukkan relasi dan pemahaman masyarakat atau komunitas tertentu akan Hyang Ilahi tersebut. Penelitian dengan metode kualitatif melalui studi pustaka, observasi lapangan, dan wawancara ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan paham ketuhanan dalam kepercayaan Aluk To Dolo, khususnya eksistensi Puang Matua. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepercayaan Aluk To Dolo memiliki sosok Ilahi yang mereka sembah dan puji, yakni Puang Matua. Para penganut Aluk To Dolo selalu mengarah kepada kesatuan dengan Puang Matua melalui segala aturan hidup yang telah diturunkan oleh Puang Matua sebagai norma yang harus ditaati. Selain itu, mereka berharap dapat dipersatukan kembali dan hidup bersama Puang Matua.

Abstract

The Asmat tribe who inhabit the Land of Papua, has a belief in divinity that is deeply rooted in the Fumeripits myth. Fumeripits is seen as the highest god, above the ancestors of the Asmat tribe, who is considered the creator, having higher power and authority. The writing method used is literature study and uses primary data obtained directly through interviews with sources. The aim of this research is to explain Fumeripits divine understanding and reveal how the Asmat people view the role of ancestral spirits in their lives, including how ancestral spirits provide prosperity for the living. Based on the Fumeripits myth, the Asmat people believe that their ancestor was a young man who was skilled in the art of carving. They believe there are three worlds, namely Asamat Ow Capinmi (world of the living), Damir Ow Capinmi (stopover place), and Safan (Heaven). Asamat Ow Capinmi, the Asmat community has an obligation to do good and obey customary law. To help ancestors experience liberation from Damir Ow Capinmi. AbstrakSuku Asmat yang mendiami Tanah Papua, memiliki paham ketuhanan yang mengakar kuat pada mitos Fumeripits. Fumeripits dipandang sebagai dewa tertinggi, di atas nenek moyang suku Asmat, yang dianggap sebagai pencipta, memiliki kekuasaan dan otoritas yang lebih tinggi. Metode penulisan yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dan menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh langsung melalui wawancara dengan narasumber. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan paham ketuhanan  Fumeripits dan mengungkapkan bagaimana masyarakat Asmat memandang peran arwah leluhur dalam kehidupannya, termasuk bagaimana arwah leluhur memberikan kesejahteraan bagi yang masih hidup. Berdasarkan mitos Fumeripits, masyarakat Asmat meyakini bahwa nenek moyangnya adalah seorang pemuda yang memiliki keahlian dalam seni ukir. Mereka meyakini ada tiga dunia, yaitu Asamat Ow Capinmi (dunia orang hidup), Damir Ow Capinmi (tempat persinggahan), dan Safan (Surga). Asamat Ow Capinmi masyarakat Asmat memiliki kewajiban untuk berbuat baik dan menaati hukum adat. Untuk membantu nenek moyang mengalami pembebasan dari Damir Ow Capinmi

Abstract

The North Tanimbar community in the Maluku Islands has a tradition of a relationship pattern known as Duan-Lolat (Giver-Receiver). This Duan-Lolat relationship pattern originates from the context of marriage, namely the relationship between man (husband) and woman (wife), which at the same time also implies the relationship between nature and humans (cosmological) as well as the master (the king) with his servants (political). This research, using a qualitative approach with interviews and literature studies, aims to examine the influence of Catholicism in the Duan-Lolat relationship pattern. The results show that before the Catholic faith entered, the people of North Tanimbar embraced animist beliefs centered on human relationships with the universe and ancestral spirits, referred to as Makenar and Batmakenar. After the Catholicism entered in their society, the community’s belief system underwent to change. In this religious context, Duan, as the Giver, which in the original beliefs was identified with men, nature and kings, is now applied to God or Ubila’a, in their language. Meanwhile, Lolat, as the receiver, which was originally identified with women, humans, and servants, is applied to humans in their relationship with God. With this new understanding and meaning, Catholicism can be easily accepted by the North Tanimbar community, while strengthening the community’s understanding of the relationship between humans and God, as well as forming the basis for religious practice and the communityAbstrakMasyarakat Tanimbar Utara di Kepulauan Maluku memiliki tradisi dalam pola relasi yang dikenal dengan Duan-Lolat (Pemberi-Penerima). Pola relasi Duan-Lolat ini berasal dari konteks perkawinan, yaitu relasi antara laki-laki (suami) dan perempuan (istri), yang sekaligus juga berimplikasi konteks relasi alam dengan manusia (kosmologis) dan tuan/raja dengan hamba (politis). Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan wawancara dan studi pustaka, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh Agama Katolik dalam pola relasi Duan-Lolat tersebut. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa sebelum iman Katolik masuk, masyarakat Tanimbar Utara memiliki kepercayaan animisme yang berpusat pada hubungan manusia dengan alam semesta dan roh-roh leluhur, yang disebut sebagai Makenar dan Batmakenar. Setelah masuknya Agama Katolik, sistem kepercayaan masyarakat mengalami perubahan. Dalam konteks religius ini, Duan, sebagai Pemberi, yang dalam kepercayaan asli diidentikkan dengan laki-laki, alam, dan raja, kini diterapkan pada Allah atau Ubila’a, dalam bahasa mereka. Sementara itu, Lolat, sebagai penerima, yang semula diidentikan pada wanita, manusia, dan hamba, kita diterapkan pada manusia dalam relasinya dengan Allah. Dengan pemahaman dan pemaknaan yang baru ini, Agama Katolik dapat diterima oleh Masyarakat Tanimbar Utara, sekaligus memperkuat pemahaman masyarakat tentang hubungan manusia dengan Allah, serta membentuk landasan praktik keagamaan dan penghayatan spiritual yang mendasari kehidupan beragama di Tanimbar Utara.

Abstract

Scoliosis is a spinal disorder where the spine bends to the side (lateral curvature) forming the letter 'S' or 'C' and can be seen when the curvature gets worse and causes discomfort. Untreated scoliosis can get worse, affecting cardiopulmonary function, limiting mobility for sufferers and having a negative impact on body posture. Early detection of scoliosis plays an important role in preventing the deformity and damage from getting worse. Based on age groups, idiopathic scoliosis can be grouped into four, namely infantile (0-3 years). juvenile (4-9 years), adolescent (10 years until growth stops). and adult (>19 years). The purpose of this activity is to prevent potential progression of deformity and early detection of severe deformity that requires operative correction. The basic method of scoliosis screening is a clinical examination in a forward-bending position using a scoliometer which can also be used in a standing or sitting position. Scoliometer measures the Angle of Trunk Rotation. The results of the counseling show that there are several grade 3 students who experience scoliosis. Scoliosis causes participants to experience physical impacts such as a degree of tilt in the spine. The conclusion of this education and counseling on early detection of scoliosis has had a good impact in helping to increase knowledge in grade 3 students at SDIT Ar Risale Kartasura.

Abstract

Social media's increasing impact on local politics has made personal political branding crucial to preserving democracy and raising political literacy. It is crucial for theory and practice to comprehend how such branding affects public perception in the context of regional elections. In this study, the impact of personal branding on Pemalang Regional Head candidates will be examined, with particular attention paid to the phenomenon of branding and political mediatization, in which non-political public figures run for office and acquire legitimacy through digital engagement and personal branding. The study used a qualitative-descriptive approach and gathered information from Vicky Prasetyo's official Instagram account. To evaluate public responses, interaction levels, and thematic content trends, Orange Data Mining software was used in conjunction with a Naïve Bayes sentiment analysis model. According to the findings, personal branding tactics that prioritize visual performativity, emotional intimacy, and endorsements from other public figures result in a preponderance of neutral feeling, which reflects the uncertainty of public perception. According to the study's findings, personal branding in this instance offers electability engagement and symbolic visibility, but it lacks a coherent and substantial policy program narrative. These results illustrate the potential of social media data as an alternate electability metric and lend theoretical support to local political communication research. In practice, the findings can help electoral management organizations, campaign consultants, and political practitioners create more focused digital campaign strategies and regulations that adapt to the dynamics of online political communication, enhancing the quality of democracy and raising citizen political literacy.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi dan keterampilan perencanaan keuangan bagi pelaku industri rumahan, khususnya penjahit perempuan dan ibu rumah tangga di sentra konveksi Desa Kalitengah, Kecamatan Wedi, Klaten. Permasalahan rendahnya literasi keuangan, tidak adanya pencatatan keuangan, serta tumpang tindih antara keuangan pribadi dan usaha menjadi hambatan utama dalam pengambilan keputusan finansial dan keberlanjutan usaha. Program ini dilaksanakan melalui pendekatan edukatif dan partisipatif yang meliputi penyuluhan interaktif, pelatihan pencatatan keuangan, simulasi perencanaan anggaran, diskusi kelompok, serta pendampingan individual. Materi disampaikan secara kontekstual menggunakan bahasa sehari-hari dan narasi kehidupan nyata, serta mengintegrasikan nilai kearifan lokal seperti prinsip “kembali ke akar”. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap pentingnya pencatatan pemasukan-pengeluaran, penyusunan anggaran rumah tangga, serta perubahan sikap terhadap konsumsi dan manajemen keuangan keluarga. Kegiatan ini terbukti efektif dalam mendorong transformasi perilaku keuangan yang lebih bijak dan dapat direplikasi dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi rumah tangga berbasis komunitas

Abstract

Carpal tunnel syndrome is an extremity disorder caused by narrowing of the carpal tunnel resulting in pressure on the median nerve at the wrist. The occurrence of irritation of the median nerve that causes tingling and numbness of the thumb, index, and middle fingers due to swelling or a change in the position of the tissue in the carpal tunnel compresses and irritates the median nerve. The process of working cigarette factory workers to pack cigarettes using traditional manual work methods by hand, can cause complaints of carpal tunnel syndrome. So, the purpose of this research is to find out how the effect of Kinesio Taping and Deep Transverse Friction with Carpal tunnel syndrome in the Packaging Section of a Cigarette Factory. This study was a quasi experimental research on the effect and symptoms of Kinesio Taping and Deep Transverse Friction for Carpal tunnel syndrome cases. Kinesio Taping stabilizes muscles, joints and improves blood circulation thereby reducing pain. Deep Transverse Friction increases range of motion reducing pain. The research subjects were all cigarette packaging workers who have Carpal tunnel syndrome case, totaling 20 people. Measurements to assess the pain scale using Boston Carpal tunnel syndrome. The results of the test of the effect of Kinesio Taping and Deep Transverse Friction showed by the p-value = 0.005 and 0,000 (p<0.05), so there are reducing pain in Kinesio Taping groups and Deep Transverse Friction groups. But there was not different of Kinesio Taping groups and Deep Transverse Friction groups on reducing carpal tunnel syndrome pain, showed by the p-value = 1,000 (p>0,005). The conclusion of this study, there is a significant relationship between Kinesio Taping and Deep Transverse Friction on reducing carpal tunnel syndrome pain in workers at the Djarum cigarette factory, but was not different of Kinesio Taping groups and Deep Transverse Friction groups on reducing pain.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss how the role of the director shifts in the management process of television program production. In recent years the director's role has been considered to have shifted regarding his duties to manage the course of production. The driving factor is in the form of technology that shifts market needs that are increasingly diverse. Therefore it is important to look back at how they carry out their new tasks, the positive impacts and challenges they experience. Using a case study by Robert K Yin which is focused on MNCTV media. The results of the study show that repositioning of the director (program director) has a significant role as a form of adaptation to the content and creative process of a production program. However, it is necessary to align creative and managerial roles. One of them is the development of education as an increase in competence.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss how the role of the director shifts in the management process of television program production. In recent years the director's role has been considered to have shifted regarding his duties to manage the course of production. The driving factor is in the form of technology that shifts market needs that are increasingly diverse. Therefore it is important to look back at how they carry out their new tasks, the positive impacts and challenges they experience. Using a case study by Robert K Yin which is focused on MNCTV media. The results of the study show that repositioning of the director (program director) has a significant role as a form of adaptation to the content and creative process of a production program. However, it is necessary to align creative and managerial roles. One of them is the development of education as an increase in competence.
