Abstract

Abstract: Teens have a positive and negative behavior. Negative behavior is not characteristic of normal adolescent development, adolescents are developing will exhibit positive behavior. One of the teens indicated negative behavior is aggressive behavior. It can be seen in SMA N 5 Padang is quarrelsome, like teasing, hitting, pinching her, saying rude, insulting. This study aimed to describe the type of aggressive behavior of students and the role of BK teachers to address students' aggressive behavior SMAN 5 Padang. This study used a descriptive approach. The study population was a high school student Padang N 5 340 people with a total sample amounted to 77 people. Questionnaire data collection techniques to use. Data were analyzed using Microsoft Office Excel 2007. The findings showed that students' views of the aggressive actions hurt people physically with a percentage of 35.32%, while the aggressive actions of the student views of hurting people verbally 41.30% and aggression seen from damaging and destroying property by 30 percent, 42%. This means that the presence of aggressive behavior in SMA N 5 Padang.

 Abstract:Guidance and counseling teachers play an important rolein developing students' moral, such asmoral knowledge, moral feeling, andmoral behavior. Ideally BK teachers can berole models for students behave. In fact teachers BK can not be agood example for students. The purpose ofthis study was to determinethe extent to which teachers develop students' moral BK. Type of researchis a descriptive study. The study population class XI studentin SMK"X" Padang. Abstract

Emotional intelligenceplays an important rolein education, one of themin theschoolelection. Emotionallyintelligentstudentsselect schoolsaccording totheir owndesiresand interestsandtalents. In factthere aresomestudentswho indicatedlessemotionallyintelligent, whichis stilldependent onhis parentsandwent along witha friendinhigh schoolelection, causingdisappointmentin himafterentering theselected schools. The purposeof researchtodescribe theemotional intelligenceof studentsin theschoolelectionsinSMK4Padang. Results ofthe studyrevealedthat(1) the emotionalintelligenceof studentsin theschoolelectionsfrom the aspects ofthe bulkidentify emotionsin middle category(2) aspects ofmanagingemotionsmostlyin middle category(3) aspects ofmotivating yourselfto beinthe medium category. From the research resultssuggestedTeacherGuidanceandCounseling/Counselorsprovideguidanceandcounselingservicesthatcanminimizethe lessintelligentstudentsemotionally, so thatstudentscandevelop the potentialin him. The servicescanbe giventhatthe serviceinformation, servicecontentmastery, andgroup counselingservicesthatmatterrelating toemotional intelligenceservices. It can also begivenindividualcounselingservicesfor students who have less troubleemotionallyintelligent. Thenit is also suggestedtohomeroom, principals, andschoolpersonnelin order tocooperatein identifyingandprovidinggreat attentionto studentswhoare lessemotionallyintelligent.

Abstract

Parents are factors influencing students motivation in learning, them motivation in school work. In fact many students show low motivation in school work is influence by parents aconcern. The study aims to reveal the relationship of parents concern to student motivation homework. Type a descriptive correlational study with findings that parents concern is quite, student motivation homework is quite high and there is a significant relationship between parents' attention to student motivation homework.

Abstract

Abtract: One of the supporting activities in BK is visiting students’ house. This activity is aimed to know, understand students condition in all aspects that have relation with family problems. Ideally, visiting students’ house must be prepared well. In fact, counseling and guidance teacher/Counselor have not prepared visiting students’ house well yet. This research is categorized into descriptive research. Research populations are all of the counseling and guidance teachers/Counselors at Senior High School in Padang city. Samples are acquired through counseling and guidance teachers/Counselors technique which the way of view is based on school’s accreditation. The result of this research showed that counseling and guidance teachers/Counselors have been able to visiting students’ house although there are still some of them found it was difficult to do.Keyword: Profile; Students Isolated

Abstract

Academic procrastination is a bad behavior because it obstructs the students to achieve the goal of learning. Procrastination is affected by some factors, one of them is learning motivation. Students attract to do their homework, although they do it at school, late report and disturb their friend in learning. All of that are characteristics of academic procrastination. The research purposes are to describe student learning motivation, academic procrastination, and the correlation of learning motivation and academic procrastination of student at SMP N 25 Padang. This research is a descriptive correlational. The population are 482 students of class VII and class VIII SMP N 25 Padang. The samples are 233 students who gained by proportional random sampling. The instrument is learning motivation questionnare and academic procrastination questionnare. The data is analyzed by descriptive statistic method and pearson product moment correlation.The results show that 1) student’s learning motivation is categorized high, 2) student’s academic procrastination is categorized medium, 3) there is negative correlation between learning motivation with academic procrastination of students. The coefficient correlation is r -0,636 with significant 0,000. The higher motivation that the students have the lower their academic procrastination. Therefore students learning motivation can prevent academic procrastination. Guidance and counseling teachers have to help increase their learning motivation and solve their academic procrastination by guidance and counseling services.

Abstract

Abstract: Basic tasks the teacher supervisor is compiling the program guidance and counseling, implement the program guidance and counseling, evaluate program implementation guidance and counseling, analysis of the results of the implementation of the guidance and counseling and follow-up program implementation guidance and counseling to learners who becomes his responsibility. In fact guidance and counseling teachers of government senior high schools in Solok Regency did not elaborate on the program guidance and counseling in accordance with the types of services and areas of development without any elaboration time allocation, class of service to be provided, the material will be presented and didn’t have the weekly program of guidance and counseling. This study used a descriptive approach. The population of the research is all of guidance and counseling teachers in government senior high schools in Solok Regency, totally 49 people with sampling techniques namely the sampling area of 32 people. Data collection techniques using question form. The Data were analyzed using percentage technique.

Abstract

Learning is process to give student that helpfrom learning difficulties, that maybe comes during learning process, so that student can get their optimal score. In study processing, the motivation is very important. The motivation is indispensable, because an individu didn’t have encouragement or desire in study,is imposible can do study activity well. It mean there was motivation in student self indirectly will grow up the spirit and passion in study. As a matter in fact, there are many student who have low learning motivation becausemany found that student always going out-going in from the class and doing something else during study process. This research is descriptif research and the purpose to describe about student’s motivation to follow learning process. The conclusion of the research is student’smotivation tofollow learning in good enough category. Abstract

Teens are developing will show a positive attitude. In fact, most adolescents exhibit negative behaviors, one of which aggressive behavior. This study aims to gain an overview of types of aggressive behavior, aggressive behavior and the factors that cause counselors attempt to address students' aggressive behavior. This research is a qualitative case study approach, with the finding that subjects behave aggressively, there are four factors that cause aggressive behavior of students, assistance can be given related to the aggressive behavior of students is to provide services BK.

Abstract

Abstrak the research purpose to describe: 1) self-esteem of acceleration students, 2) the guidance and counseling service required by acceleration students. Research methods used are descriptive quantitative. Research subject represent class student of XI dan XII CI/BI senior high school 1 of Padang which amount to 48 people. Result of reseacrh show that self-esteem of acceleration students high in general, consist of general self-esteem, social self-esteem and personal self-esteem. Requirement of acceleration students to the guidance and counseling service are in general very high, consist of orientation service, information service, location service and channeling, domination of konten service, individual counseling service, group guidance service, group counseling service, consultancy service and also service of mediasi.
