Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research is whether there is a significant relationship between students' reading anxiety and reading comprehension at SMAN 3 Baubau. The aim of the research is to find out whether there is a significant relationship between reading anxiety and reading comprehension at SMAN 3 Baubau. This research is quantitative research. The population in this study was all class XI, totaling 95 students. The sample was taken using a side random technique, totaling 30 students, consisting of 3 classes, namely class XI Merdeka 1, XI Merdeka 2, XI Merdeka 3. Data collection in this research was carried out using research instruments in the form of questionnaires and tests, to determine the effect of reading anxiety on reading comprehension in the use of English. The data obtained was analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis, prerequisite analysis, and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the research results, it was concluded that there was no significant relationship between reading anxiety and reading comprehension. This conclusion is based on statistical analysis. Because Fcount is 0.307 with a significance value of 0.584, Fcount is lower than Ftable and the significance value is greater than (0.05). This means that the hypothesis H0 is accepted and the alternative hypothesis is rejected.

Abstract

Vocabulary mastery or glossary for children is necessary in learning English because a good understanding of vocabulary will support the ability to master English skills. Card media is one of the print learning media that can be used by children to master vocabulary quickly. The purpose of this study was to determine the form of development of hotel restaurant glossary cards for Fatimah 7 Palembang Kindergarten students. This study was conducted using the Research & Development approach developed by Plomp (1997) with the stages of preliminary investigation, designing, realization/construction, testing, evaluation, and revision, and implementation. Data was collected through interviews. The study was conducted in July-November 2023 with the population and sample of Fatimah 7 Palembang Kindergarten students. The final product was glossary cards that had been tested and validated by experts of linguistic, content and design. This study produced product outputs in the form of a final report, SINTA accredited scientific articles, and Hotel Restaurant Glossary Cards products registered in HKI.

Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini ialah untuk meningkatkan kapasitas guru sekolah dasar dalam memberikan penguatan positif kepada siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Mitra dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini ialah kelompok kerja guru sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Bangkala Barat, Kabupaten Jeneponto. Tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini terdiri atas 4 tahap yakni persiapan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, serta rencana tindak lanjut. Untuk mengukur keberhasilan pelaksanaan program, maka digunakan beberapa instrument seperti instrument pemahaman mengenai penguatan positif, instrument evaluasi materi dan pemateri, serta instrument evaluasi pelaksanaan kegiatan secara keseluruhan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi pelaksanaan kegiatan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru mengenai pemberian penguatan positif dalam pembelajaran. Selain itu, guru mulai menyadari pentingnya memberikan penguatan positif kepada siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Terdapat beberapa hal yang telah direncanakan kedepannya sebagai program rencana tindak lanjut seperti melakukan pelatihan rutin kepada guru terkait pemberian penguatan positif serta mencoba mensosialisasikan program ini kepada kelompok kerja guru lainnya di daerah tersebut. Kata Kunci: Guru Sekolah Dasar, Penguatan Positif, Motivasi Belajar

Abstract

Inovasi teknologi merupakan salah satu faktor penting yang dapat meningkatkan kinerja keuangan perusahaan. Inovasi teknologi dapat memberikan berbagai manfaat bagi perusahaan, antara lain meningkatkan efisiensi, produktivitas, dan daya saing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh inovasi teknologi terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder berupa laporan keuangan perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) pada tahun 2022. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa inovasi teknologi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Secara parsial, inovasi teknologi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap profitabilitas, efisiensi, dan likuiditas perusahaan. Secara simultan, inovasi teknologi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan.Kata Kunci: Inovasi Teknologi, Kinerja Keuangan, Perusahaan Manufaktur.

Abstract

This article aims to scrutinize the dilemma of investment toward forests in Aceh and to find out anticipatory efforts to overcome investment problems that destroy forests in Aceh. This research was conducted by using qualitative research methods and the necessary data was collected through library research. The results of the study show that investment in Aceh has a positive impact on Aceh's economic growth, but uncontrolled investment has damaged forests and ecosystems in Aceh, causing floods and negative impacts on the local community such as floods and damaging animal ecosystems. The factors causing investments that destroy forests among others are ineffective government policies in managing forests, lack of prevention of investments that destroy forests, and weak legal enforcement in the investment and environmental sectors. To overcome the above dilemma, it is necessary to strengthen regulations and strict law enforcement, promote sustainable forest management, increase public and business awareness, and increase cooperation between related parties. This is important to do to maintain a balance between economic development and environmental sustainability as well as the survival of the local community.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the management of the village income and expenditure budget (APBDes) in the village of Pantai Cermin. This research is a qualitative research by conducting interviews and observations. This research was conducted at the Pantai Cermin Village Office, Tanjung Pura District, Langkat Regency. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data. The conclusions in this study are 1. The planning stage of APBDes management in Pantai Cermin Village, Tanjung Pura District has fulfilled the format according to what is attached according to what is attached to Permendagri Number 113 of 2014 and 2. The accountability stage of the APBDes in technical terms is good but for administrative accountability is still lacking. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengelolaan anggaran pendapatan dan belanja desa (APBDes) di desa pantai cermin. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yakni dengan melakukan wawancara dan observasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kantor Desa Pantai Cermin Kecamatan Tanjung Pura, Kabupaten Langkat. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini yaitu 1. Tahap perencanaan pengelolaan APBDes di Desa Pantai Cermin Kecamatan Tanjung Pura sudah memenuhi format sesuai dengan apa yang dilampirkan sesuai dengan apa yang dilampirkan pada Permendagri Nomor 113 Tahun 2014 dan 2. Tahap pertanggungjawaban APBDes dalam hal teknis sudah baik namun untuk pertanggungjawaban secara administrasi masih kurang.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of applying the theory of language politeness as the instruction medium in increasing academic the motivation and self-regulated learning of students, especially in the writing class. This is a quantitative study with an experimental approach. This study only involved one experimental group without the control group as a comparison. The participants in this study were 25 students of the foreign language department who took writing course. Data collection techniques consisted of questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The data analysis technique consisted of descriptive and inferential statistics in the form of a paired sample t-test. The results of the comparison of pre-test and post-test data using the paired sample t-test showed that the significance value (0,000) was smaller than the standard value of the significance value (0.05). This proves that the use of politeness theory of language as the language of instruction in the process of learning could increase student academic motivation and self-regulated learning.Keywords: Academic Motivation, Self-Regulated Learning, Language Decency Theory, Teaching Foreign Language

Abstract

The Budgeting or preparing a good budget is important in managing a health center. A well-planned budget can run community health center operations effectively and efficiently. This research has a high level of urgency because it will provide an understanding of the influence of budgeting and ability to pay in determining service rates at Community Health Centers. This information is important for local governments, health institutions and the community in developing policies that support the accessibility and sustainability of health services in the Balangan Regency area. Qualitative methods are used to obtain an accurate picture of the influence of budgeting and ability to pay in determining service rates, namely using observational data collection techniques, interviews with relevant stakeholders and reviewing documents. Determining rates for Puskesmas services in the Balangan Regency area is greatly influenced by the budget allocated for operational activities and health services, the patient's financial capabilities, budgeting and the patient's ability to pay interact with each other in determining service rates

Abstract

Digitalization has helped hospitals improve the effectiveness of their performance in budgeting by collecting more accurate data, analyzing data for better projections, reducing operational costs, monitoring real-time budget usage, and facilitating better collaboration between departments. This paper aims to find out and understand the influence of budgeting on the effectiveness of hospital performance in the current era of digitalization. In this paper the author used a literature review method using library media, books and various electronic media sources which are currently developing rapidly. In this era of digitalization, it is important for hospitals to consider the use of information technology and financial management software for effective performance. By creating budgets that suit needs and monitoring market trends and performance, hospitals can achieve efficiencies and improve service quality. Accurate and effective budgeting is very important to improve hospital performance in the era of digitalization

Abstract

The hoax has been widely discussed in many studies employing various approaches, and one of the hoaxes massively spread recently is news about COVID-19. This qualitative study aims at investigating the essence of hoax news related to COVID-19 in the Indonesian context using a content analysis approach. The main source of data was 50 hoax news collected from turnbackhoax.com, which is one of the credible anti-hoax news sources in Indonesia. The present study collected the news from 1st January 2022 until 30th March 2020. They were then analysed and interpreted qualitatively. The research findings revealed that hoax news circulated during this pandemic era mostly had the purpose of sparking public panic, especially panic buying and panic moving. To trigger such a condition, writers of hoax news frequently used symbols such as time markers (time signals) and quantifiers and involved famous figures. This implies that hoaxes are not only spread during political events or other important occasions but also when most humans in the world experience mass trauma, which in this case is due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
