Abstract

This study aimed to determine the condition of the economy, population, education, and social cultural village. The research method used was descriptive research method. The object of this study was the condition of the economy, population, education, social cultural. Data were collected by documentation and interview techniques. The analysis in this study used descriptive qualitative data analysis. The conclusion from this research were: (1) The Economic circumstances was that majority of the population are mostly work as cane/bamboo craftsmen as many as 450 people (13.46%) (2) The population is as many as 4226 people (3) Education is as many as in 2138 (50.59%) of elementary school education (4) Social Cultural Nunggalrejo village residents are included in heterogeneous cultural pattern, but still under the influence of Sundanese ethnic cultural domination.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keadaan ekonomi, kependudukan, pendidikan, dan sosial budaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif. Objek penelitian ini yaitu keadaan ekonomi, kependudukan, pendidikan, sosial budaya di Desa Nunggalrejo Kecamatan Punggur Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dan wawancara. Analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data deskriptif kualitatif. Dari hasil penelitian ini diketahui (1) Keadaaan ekonomi bekerja sebagai pengrajin rotan/ bambu sebanyak 450 jiwa (13,46%) (2) Jumlah penduduk sebanyak 4226 jiwa (3) keadaan pendidikan warga terdapat 2138 (50,59%) berpendidikan Sekolah Dasar (4) Sosial Budaya penduduk termasuk dalam corak kebudayaan yang heterogen namun masih dalam pengaruh dominasi kebudayaan suku sunda.Kata kunci: keadaan ekonomi, kependudukan, pendidikan, sosial budaya

Abstract

Seiring pesatnya arus modernsisasi, keragaman budaya Indonesia mulai punah karena generasi penerus yang cenderung melalaikan kebudayaan yang merupakan identitas nasional dan cenderung memilih bergaya kebarat – baratan agar dianggap modern dan tidak ketinggalan zaman. Salah satu wadah untuk mengenalkan pentingnya kebudayaan bagi remaja adalah bidang pendidikan. Sistem pendidikan memainkan peran yang penting dalam hal ini, dimana remaja akan diberikan bekal di sekolah – sekolah agar mengenal dan memiliki rasa cinta terhadap budayanya masing – masing khususnya kebudayaan lokalnya. Salah satu cara untuk meingkatkan kesadaran budaya yaitu melalui pembelajaran sejarah. Nilai-nilai  budaya lokal perlu dikembangkan dan menjadi materi pembelajaran di sekolah yang ditempatkan pada  kedudukan sejajar dengan nilai - nilai global. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan studi kepustakaan.

Abstract

Inclusive education is one form of special education in Indonesia to provide opportunities for children with special needs to get an education. But the reality faced by inclusive schools in management and implementation has not been satisfactory. Many things are not in accordance with predetermined standards. In this study using a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research technique was carried out by non-participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation studies. The results obtained show that the management of inclusive schools is still unsatisfactory such as the lack of facilities and accessibility of children with special needs, special educators, special assistant teachers. This will certainly affect the quality of education, learning processes, and evaluations carried out so that certain stages also have an impact on the outputs and outcomes of students with special needs

Abstract

The Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic occurred in Indonesia since early March 2020 which was then followed by a learning from home policy. The purpose of this study was to gather information through a survey about the implementation of online learning carried out by teachers who provide inclusive education at the Elementary level. The data was collected by using a survey technique and then a descriptive analysis was carried out with a total of 80 respondents from several provinces in Indonesia such as West Sumatra, West Java, Yogyakarta, and East Kalimantan. The results showed during the COVID-19 pandemic has made teachers make changes in the teaching and learning process, but not all teachers use television programs as a medium of learning. The ability of teachers to use ICT helps them in providing educational services and the majority have no difficulty using learning applications. Although at the beginning of the pandemic, it was difficult to adapt learning, but until this article was written the teachers had adapted their learning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop inquiry models in social studies learning by integrating the values of Mohammad Hatta's democratic economic thinking in junior high schools in Lampung. The method used in this research is the development research (R&D) method. The subjects in this study consisted of material validators, model validators, and 48 junior high school students. The results of this development research show that the inquiry learning model integrated with the value of Mohammad Hatta's populist economic thought proved to be valid based on the assessment of the model expert and material expert. Based on the results of small group trials, limited trials and large group trials shows that the integrated inquiry learning model with the economic thought value of Mohammad Hatta proved to be effective and in accordance with needs analysis.

Abstract

Dialogue is the means language gives us for expressing interpersonal meanings about roles and attitudes. Being able to take part in dialogue means being able to negotiate the exchange of interpersonal meanings and being able to realize social relations with other language users. This study aims at describing the patterns of role relation negotiation as the realization of interpersonal meaning in an English casual conversation between native speaker (NS) and Indonesian EFL-learner (NNS). The patterns were studied through the choice of speech functions when the interactants act on each other. The results of this study show that NNS plays his role as initiator, while NS as supporter; the conversation is the one of information negotiation rather than goods and services negotiation.  Key words: casual conversation, interpersonal meaning, role relation negotiation, speech function

Abstract

Kelompok Tani Bawang Merah Rowo Tengah merupakan mitra dalam program pengabdian kemitraan ini. Berdasarkan hasil survei awal diketahui bahwa mitra mempunyai permasalahan terkait rendahnya tingkat produksi bawang merah dikarenakan adanya hama. Perusak bawang merah tersebut aktif di malam hari dan menyebabkan kuantitas dan kualitas bawang merah kelompok tani tersebut menjadi turun. Pest control lamp berbasis solar cell merupakan alternatif dan terobosan teknologi baru sebagai alat yang berfungsi untuk mengusir serangan-serangan hama di lahan pertanian bawang merah. Cara kerja dari alat ini secara sederhana adalah mengkonversi panas sinar matahari menjadi energi listrik yang digunakan untuk menyalakan lampu di lahan pertanian bawang merah. Cahaya tersebut berfungsi untuk menarik perhatian dari hama, sehingga hama akan mendekati teknologi pest control lamp ini yang sebelumnya juga dibekali dengan perangkap hama. Dengan demikian hama yang telah tertangkap, dapat untuk dimusnahkan dan tidak mengganggu keberlangsungan bawang merah.

Abstract

Electroplating is the coating metals with thin layers of other metals by electrolysis to improve the surface properties of materials, especially corrosion resistance. Electroplating is widely used in the automotive, electronics, medical, aerospace, gas, and oil industries. This study will discuss the effect of substrate surface roughness of AISI 1045 steel toward surface roughness, hardness, corrosion rate, and bonding strength of the coating. The surface roughness of the substrate is obtained by grinding process using sandpaper with grades 80, 320, and 1000. In this study, the coating material is Chromium. The electroplating parameters used in this research are 5-volt voltage, current 500 Amperes, and the time of 15 minutes. From this research, it is known that the surface roughness of the substrate material has an influence on the quality of the coating. The lower the surface roughness, improve the roughness, hardness, corrosion rate, and bonding strength.Keywords: electroplating, surface roughness, hardness, corrosion rate, bonding strength.

Abstract

The research objective was to examine the correlation between learning motivation and critical thinking skills. This research design was descriptive correlation research with a quantitative approach. Additionally, the research sample consisted of 72 students. The data collection technique used learning motivation questionnaires and a critical thinking ability test. The data were analyzed using Pearson product-moment correlation analysis and a simple regression test assisted by IBM SPSS 20. The results of the correlation test obtained rxy = 0.367. Therefore, it can be interpreted that the correlation category was at a low correlation level. Furthermore, using a simple linear regression test, the researchers got an R-square value = 0.135. It meant that learning motivation contributed 13.5% to critical thinking skills, with a significance through tcount (3,300) > ttable (1,994). The results showed that there was a significant correlation between critical thinking skills with learning motivation.

Abstract

Balitung, the ruler of ancient java. He can be the role model of true leader in modern era. From his era, we can study about how the leader leading something. Nowadays, people get much news about a court session on television. People eventually have shocked with the judgment resolution that doesn’t appropriate with justice. On Ancient Java era, the court session had occurred. That court session usually about dispute side by side. Learning about court mechanism on the past is a part of studying history. With studying history, people can use past event as education with comparing past event with present. Although, this research also held to find out about tax amnesty program on Balitung’s era. To find out about the topics, a historiographical research was held with epigraphy approach that using inscription as the main topics. This research consists of four stages: (1) heuristic, (2) verification, (3) interpretation, (4) writing. From this research it’s known that a court session was led by the lord of the state as a judge. To find out the truth, the judge held evidentiary mechanism called triprangama, consists of sakshi, likhita, and bhukti. After evidentiary process, everyone who can show the truth will win the court. An then, in order to get a tax amnesty the folk can apply for it to Rakryan Mahamantri I Hino (King Balitung Crown prince) to get an approval from King Balitung.
