Abstract

One of the critical components responsible for channeling combustion gases from the engine to the exhaust is the exhaust manifold. Changes in the configuration and diameter of the exhaust manifold have an impact on engine performance. This study aims to understand how changes in exhaust manifold configuration and diameter affect torque and BMEP in a 1300 cc gasoline engine through an experimental approach that includes quantitative research methods. The experiment utilized 4-2-1 configuration exhaust manifolds with diameters of 32, 35, and 38 mm. Data collection of torque and BMEP was done using a dynamometer which was then processed into a graph and analyzed using anova. The highest torque value of 1300 cc gasoline engine is found on exhaust manifold with 38 mm diameter variation with torque value of 108.06 Nm, and the highest BMEP value is 1046.18 kPa. It can be concluded that the larger the diameter of the exhaust manifold, the combustion airflow coming out of the engine becomes more optimal, smoother, and there is no back pressure on the engine.

Abstract

The direction of learning targets in the modern era is not only at the level of understanding but also at the level of implementing, analyzing, producing, and evaluating, even to the ability to utilize technology such as websites. Sharf lessons are complex lessons. Very few quality questions are found, and educators still use the Lower Order Thinking Skill (LOTS) level, which sometimes causes them to forget that the target of mastering Sharf science is actually to master Arabic. This study aims to produce questions for the evaluation of Sharf Awwal High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) learning through the Learning Management System (LMS) website. This study is still in the initial research stage using descriptive qualitative methods. The data collection process uses documentation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results show that developing Sharf Awwal HOTS questions using the website must be based on related materials. In addition, the questions that are compiled must lead to practice in producing descriptive and narrative texts, analyzing texts from sources such as the text of the Qur'an, Alhadith, Arabic news, poetry, to the production of dialogue or communicative texts.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of religious tolerance education in the subject of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at Ma'arif Bandung High School and Muhammadiyah 3 Plus Bandung High School. The purpose of this study is to analyze how religious tolerance is incorporated into Islamic religious education and school activities, identify strategies used to promote tolerance among students, and evaluate the effectiveness of these methods in fostering an inclusive and harmonious school environment. Using a qualitative descriptive-analytical approach, this study examines how religious tolerance is integrated into the curriculum, teaching methods, and school culture in two institutions affiliated with the two largest Islamic organizations in Indonesia, namely Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) and Muhammadiyah. The data collection methods used were surveys, interviews, observations, and document analysis. The research findings show that although neither school has a specific subject on religious tolerance, tolerance values are instilled in the Islamic Religious Education and Character Education (PAIBP) curriculum through specific themes and learning objectives. In addition, school activities, local curricula such as Aswaja (NU) and Kemuhammadiyahan (Muhammadiyah), and extracurricular programs further strengthen religious tolerance among students. The results of the study highlight that both schools have successfully integrated tolerance education through character-building activities and thematic lessons, fostering an environment of mutual respect among students. However, there are still challenges, especially in providing structured models for teachers to effectively teach religious tolerance.

Metoda pelaksanaan berupa pemeriksaan tumbuh kembang anak, Penyuluhan Hidup Bersih dan Sehat, pemeriksaan Status Gizi Anak, penyuluhan cara menyikat gigi yang benar, pemeriksaan kesehatan pengelola panti asuhan serta pelatihan penanggulangan bencana. Hasil pemeriksaan Kesehatan pada penghuni dan pengelola panti didapatkan sebagian besar (52,6 persen) penghuni panti berjenis kelamin laki-laki, hampir setengahnya berusia rata-rata 21-60 tahun, Sebagian besar (68,4 persen) tekanan darah kurang dari 140/90 mmHg, Sebagian besar (73,1 persen) berstatus gizi normal, hampir seluruhnya (94,4 persen) glukosa darah kurang dari 126 m/dL dan asam urat kurang dari 8 mg/dL. Secara umum keadaan warga panti asuhan dalam keadaan baik Social problems that often occur in society are abandoned children, street children, beggars, disabled people, neglected elderly, poor families, families with social problems, and so on. Children and poor people should have their human rights fulfilled by the State of Indonesia. However, in reality there are many children whose needs are not met, such as parents who are unable to provide for the child's needs or the child does not have parents. One effort to overcome this is to establish social institutions in the form of orphanages. Since the pandemic, children at the Mission Nusantara Surakarta Orphanage rarely receive health services and there is limited space for children to move. Theless than purpose of this community service is to assist the orphanage in monitoring the growth and development of residents and managers of the Mission Nusantara Orphanage in Surakarta. The implementation method is in the form of examinations on child growth and development, Counseling on Clean and Healthy Living, checking on the Nutritional Status of Children, counseling on how to brush their teeth properly, health checks for orphanage managers and training on disaster management. 6 percent) of the residents of the orphanage are male, almost half of them are aged 21-60 years, most (68.4 percent) have blood pressure less than 140/90 mmHg, most (73.1 percent) have normal nutritional status, almost all (94.4 percent) blood glucose less than 126 m/dL and uric acid less than 8 mg/dl. Similar activities are needed to see general body health and must be monitored periodically, so that the residents of the orphanage can find out their health status, especially now that they are still in a pandemic condition Covid-19

Abstract

This study aims to model fluid dynamics in the fuel injector of a four-stroke gasoline engine, with a focus on the relationship between fluid pressure and flow rate. The size of the fuel droplet is a key factor that affects combustion efficiency. Droplet size can be controlled through the regulation of injection speed and pressure. In this study, data on injection speed and pressure were collected using an injector tester, injector plunger, and fuel pump tester pressure gauge. The data show that at a higher injection speed (80 m/s), the fuel droplet diameter decreases more rapidly, producing smaller droplets and enhancing combustion efficiency. A similar pattern was observed at higher injection pressures (50 bar), where the droplets atomized more quickly, allowing for a more homogeneous air-fuel mixture. The results illustrate that both higher injection speed and pressure support a more efficient atomization process, reduce emissions, and improve engine efficiency. This study concludes that proper regulation of injection speed and pressure is crucial to optimize engine performance and reduce exhaust emissions. The findings can be used to design more efficient fuel injection systems and provide recommendations for the development of future injection technologies

Abstract

The increasing demand for motorcycles in Indonesia has contributed to rising air pollution, particularly from exhaust emissions such as CO, HC, CO₂, and O₂. This study aims to investigate the effect of adding Octane Booster to Pertamax fuel on reducing harmful emissions from 150cc four-stroke motorcycle engines. The experimental method involved adding 0.2g, 0.5g, and 1g of Octane Booster per liter of fuel and testing engine performance at 2000, 2500, 3000, and 3500 rpm using an emission analyzer. The results showed that the addition of Octane Booster significantly reduced emission levels of CO, HC, CO₂, and O₂. The most effective reduction was observed with 1g Octane Booster at 3500 rpm, where CO was reduced by 31%, HC by 34%, CO₂ by 35%, and O₂ by 33% compared to standard fuel. The study concludes that Octane Booster not only improves combustion efficiency but also contributes to lowering emissions, thereby supporting efforts to mitigate global warming and air pollution caused by motorized vehicles.

Abstract

Abstract. This study is motivated by the high prevalence of stunting in Indonesia, defined as a child's height below -2 standard deviations (SD) on the WHO growth curve, resulting from chronic malnutrition and various related factors. The research emphasizes the importance of early detection and the active roles of parents, health workers, and preschool teachers (PAUD) in preventing malnutrition. This study aims to describe the forms of programs, planning, implementation, evaluation, and obstacles in preventing malnutrition among toddlers at PAUD. Data were collected through interviews, participant observation, and document review. Results show variations in the implementation of the Supplementary Feeding Program (PMT), with some PAUDs implementing it consistently and in a standardized manner, while others require improvements in consistency, food type supervision, and parental involvement. Preventive planning includes routine health checks, healthy eating habits, and early detection of child development (DDTK/SDIDTK), mostly conducted in collaboration with the local health center (Puskesmas). Early detection implementation varies, with some PAUDs conducting self-examinations and others collaborating with the Puskesmas. Program evaluation uses the IPP model (Input, Process, Product), identifying suboptimal parental involvement. Major obstacles include limited funding, difficulties in engaging parents, and the limited knowledge of teachers about stunting, particularly among older teachers. The study recommends increased parental involvement, the utilization of local resources such as gardening, and expanded access to health services.
