Abstract

Slaughterhouses has a very important role in the chain system for the availability of meat procurement. This research aims to analyze the level of knowledge of animal welfare and implementing it in Medan City Slaughter House. This research was conducted at the Medan City Slaughterhouse located on Jalan Rumah Potong Hewan, Mabar Hilir Village, Medan Deli Subdistrict, Medan City, North Sumatra in August 2021. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive research method.The results showed that the level of knowledge was already in the category of very good. The group of slaughterer respondents had the highest percentage of answer scores at 100% followed by animal controllers at 95.36% and cattle traders at 88.62%. The application of animal welfare aspects in the process of slaughtering cattle in Medan City Slaughterhouse is already in the category of very good with the percentage of conformity rate based on the regulations and provisions of Meat and Livestock Australia ranging from 80% to 100%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and formulate an effective promotion mix strategy to increase sales in Abg Rafin Catering's Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) located in Percut Sei Tuan. Abg Raffin Catering has been operating for several years and has a loyal customer base. As UMKM operates in the culinary sector, Katering Abg Rafin faces the challenge of increasing market share and revenue amidst tight competition. And in recent years, sales growth has stagnated. One factor contributing to this problem is the lack of optimality in the promotion strategy used. Many UMKMs, including Abg Rafin's Catering, tend to rely on traditional promotion methods, which are now becoming less competitive with digital marketing techniques and more modern promotion approaches. To achieve that goal, a proper promotion mix strategy is essential. We use qualitative research with case study methods. Data is collected through in-depth interviews with business owners, customer surveys, as well as analysis of sales and promotional documents. The results show that an optimal combination of the components of the promotion mix—advertising, direct marketing, personal selling, sales promotion, and publicity—can significantly increase sales. In particular, the increased use of social media and digital platforms as a means of promotion has had the greatest impact. Based on the findings, it is recommended that Katering Abg Rafin implement an integrated and sustainable promotion mix strategy, focusing on enhanced digital marketing activities and direct interaction with customers. This approach is expected to help Katering Abg Rafin compete more effectively in the market and sustain sales growth.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a tourist ticket booking application with Android base using Extreme Programming method, which was conducted in Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park, Lampung. The process of developing this application through several stages, namely planning, design, coding, testing, and distribution. Testing the application using the Black Box Testing method concluded that all features and functions of the application run well as expected without any errors. In the Blackox testing calculation above, a total percentage of 100% was obtained. Therefore it can be concluded that the Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park tour ticket booking application is indicated to be very feasible and can be used properly. This application is designed to make it easier for tourists to order tickets online and help the manager of Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park in managing tickets and visitors more effectively and efficiently. This application is also expected to improve visitor experience and comfort by providing complete tourist information and better accessibility. Suggestions for further development include the addition of more diverse payment methods, integration of automatic ticket output features in the form of barcodes and scans, and regular application maintenance to reduce potential errors. Thus, this application is expected to be an effective and efficient solution in ticket management and increase the number of tourist visits to Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park

Abstract

Perkembangan jaman tidak dapat dielakkan lagi bahwa, kemajuan merupakan suatu yang harus dicapai oleh suatu bangsa, kemjauan jaman ditandai dengan pesatnya perkembangan teknologi khususnya teknologi digital. Dengan berkembanganya teknologi digital, maka kejahatan juga akan mengikuti dari perkembangan jaman tersebut, oleh karen itu diperlukannya regulasi atau kebijakan berupa peraturan perundang undangan, khususnya mengenai teknologi digital, oleh karenanya lahirnya Undang Undang nomor 19 tahun 2016 tentang perubahan undang – undang nomor 11 tahun 2008 tentang Informasi dan transaksi elektronik untuk menjawab perembangan teknologi khususnya dibidang teknologi digital untuk dapat mencegah dan menanggulangi perbuatan yang sekiranya dipandang dapat merugikan orang lain. Dengan adanya undang undang tersebut maka perlu adanya edukasi hukum bagi kalangan masyarakat khususnya edukasi ini disampaikan oleh tim pengabdi dikelurahan Bener, Kecamatan Tegalrejo, Ygyakarta, dengan harapan warga masyarakat khususnya warga masyarakat kelurahan Bener dapat memahami undang undang tersebut dan tidak akan melakukan perbuata yang melanggar aturan pada dunia maya, serta dapat memebrikan rasa aman jika terdapat adanya perbuatan yang merugikan warga masyarakat khususnya didalam dunia maya.  Adapun metode edukasi hukum ini mengguunakan beberapa tahapan, mulai dari tahapan awal berupa koordinasi para pihak anatara tim pengabdi dengan panitia warga masyarakat kelurahan Bener Kecamatan Tegalrejo sampai pada persiapan materi dan pelaksanaan edukasi hukum. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh adalah, pemahaman warga masyarakat terhadap eprbuatan yang oleh maupun tdak boleh dilakukan berserta sanksi hukuman berupa penjara maupun denda.  Legal Education Implications of Electronic Information and Transaction Law in Bener Village, YogyakartaAbstract: The development of the times is inevitable, that progress is something that must be achieved by a nation, the progress of the times is marked by the rapid development of technology, especially digital technology. With the development of digital technology, crime also develops, namely crime in the field of digital technology, therefore a policy is needed in the form of statutory regulations. Therefore the birth of Law number 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions to respond to technological developments, especially to prevent and overcome actions that are deemed to be detrimental to other people. With the existence of this law, it is necessary to have legal education for the community, especially this education delivered by the service team in the Bener sub-district, Tegalrejo District, Yogyakarta, with the hope that the community members, especially the Bener sub-district community, can understand the law and will not commit acts that are against rule of law in cyberspace. The education law method uses several stages, starting from the initial stage in the form of coordination between the parties between the service team and the committee, residents of the Bener sub-district, Tegalrejo District, to preparing materials and implementing educational law. The results obtained are the understanding of community members about actions that may or may not be carried out accompanied by sanctions in the form of imprisonment or fines.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Komisi dan Bonus Terhadap Kinerja Agen Asuransi di PT Asuransi Takaful Keluarga Cabang Setia Budi Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi linier berganda dan menggunakan program SPSS 24. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dengan metode skala likert serta sampel sebanyak 65 Agen di PT Asuransi Takaful Keluarga Cabang Setia Budi Medan (RO Al-Fatih Agency) yang telah bersertifikat AASI (Asosiasi Asuransi Syariah Indonesia). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan dari perhitungan R Square sebesar 0,568 atau sebesar 56,8%. Hal tersebut memperlihatkan bahwa kinerja agen dipengaruhi oleh kedua variabel komisi dan bonus sebesar 56,8% Sisanya sebesar 43,2% dipengaruhi variabel lain yang tidak disertakan di penelitian ini. Uji parsial (Uji t) pada penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa variabel yang mempengaruhi kinerja agen asuransi di PT Asuransi Takaful Keluarga Cabang Setia Budi Medan adalah variabel komisi sebesar 3.883 (X1) dan variabel bonus sebesar 3.100 (X2). Dari hasil uji simultan (uji F) juga menunjukkan bahwa Komisi dan bonus berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap kinerja agen asuransi di PT Asuransi Takaful Keluarga Cabang Setia Budi Medan, dapat dilihat berdasarkan nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari 0,05 yaitu 0,000<0,05 dan juga diperoleh nilai F hitung>F tabel yakni 40.803>3,15.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the impact of several factors on auditor performance. These factors include: (1) the effect of competence on auditor performance, (2) the effect of objectivity on auditor performance, and (3) the effect of audit structure on auditor performance. The research method used in this study is a quantitative approach. The population of this study consists of auditors who work at the Head Office of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency. Samples taken as many as 30 respondents using purposive sampling method. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression using IBM SPSS version 25 software. The findings of this study indicate that competence has a positive and significant effect on auditor performance, objectivity also has a positive and significant effect on auditor performance, and audit structure also has a positive and significant effect on auditor performance. significantly to the auditor's performance.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether or not green marketing, brand image, advertising, and price influence purchasing decisions for AQUALife products. The population of this research is consumers of AQUALife products in the Central Jakarta area. The sample for this research method used a questionnaire via Gform for a month with a total of 120 respondents. The sampling technique uses a non-probability method, with a purposive sampling technique through distributing questionnaires. The data analysis methods used are multiple regression analysis, t-test (partial), and f-test (simultaneous). The research results show that: (1) Green marketing has no significant effect on purchasing decisions. (2) Brand image has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. (3) Advertising has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. (4) Price has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Managerial implications: Managers need to ensure products and production processes comply with environmentally friendly principles, managers need to ensure consistent brand image across all marketing channels, managers need to develop competitive pricing strategies, managers need to understand competitors' prices and their price position in the market to maintain competitiveness.

Abstract

This study investigates the challenges and opportunities associated with utilizing cash waqf to support economic development in Aceh, Indonesia, employing the innovative Micro Waqf Bank model. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with seven Waqf management experts in Aceh, selected using purposive sampling. Leveraging the Analytical Network Process (ANP), the study identifies key problems in the development of cash waqf practices, including economic challenges such as capital sourcing, financing repayment delays, and monitoring-mentoring costs. From a social perspective, the study emphasizes the importance of synergy among institutions, public awareness, and effective socialization. Institutional issues include human resource professionalism, regulatory suitability, Micro Waqf Bank limitations, and the need for digitalization. Legal and governance aspects focus on regulations supporting capital financing for small enterprises and efficient managerial management. The study proposes an inclusive, adaptive, participatory, and integrated Micro Waqf Bank Innovation Model to optimize cash waqf utilization and support real sector economic growth. Suggestions for improvement involve technological infrastructure, human resource training, regulatory adjustments, capital management, monitoring systems, strategic partnerships, socialization, coordination, product diversification, and community participation, providing a comprehensive model for the development of Micro Waqf Banks in Aceh.==============================================================================================================ABSTRAK – Model Inovasi Bank Wakaf Mikro di Aceh. Penelitian ini mengkaji tantangan dan peluang pengembangan praktik wakaf tunai untuk mendukung pembangunan ekonomi di Aceh melalui model inovasi Bank Wakaf Mikro di Aceh. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan tujuh pakar bidang manajemen wakaf di Aceh, yang dipilih dengan metode sampling purposif. Hasil analisis aplikasi Analytical Network Process (ANP), penelitian ini mengidentifikasi sejumlah persoalan kunci dalam pengembangan wakaf tunai, seperti tantangan ekonomi terkait sumber modal, keterlambatan pembayaran pembiayaan, dan biaya pemantauan/ mentoring. Secara sosial, kajian ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya sinergi antar lembaga, kesadaran masyarakat, dan sosialisasi. Aspek institusional melibatkan isu-isu seperti profesionalisme sumber daya manusia, regulasi yang sesuai, keterbatasan Bank Wakaf Mikro, dan digitalisasi. Aspek hukum dan tata kelola berfokus pada regulasi yang mendukung, pembiayaan modal untuk usaha mikro dan ultra-mikro, dan manajemen manajerial. Solusi telah diidentifikasi untuk setiap aspek, mencapai proposal model Inovasi Micro Waqf Bank yang inklusif, adaptif, partisipatif, dan terintegrasi untuk mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan waqf tunai dan mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi sektor riil. Saran untuk perbaikan melibatkan infrastruktur teknologi, pelatihan sumber daya manusia, penyesuaian regulasi, manajemen modal, sistem pemantauan, kemitraan strategis, sosialisasi, koordinasi, diversifikasi produk, dan partisipasi masyarakat, sehingga memberikan model komprehensif untuk pengembangan Bank Wakaf mikro di Aceh.

Abstract

The extraction of Fe3O4 from iron sand frequently utilizes a highly concentrated HCl solution, which is hazardous to the environment. The high-energy ball milling method of separating Fe3O4 from iron sand might produce Fe3O4 without acids and maintains its magnetic characteristics with a yield of 81.87%. The FTIR results suggest that the Fe3O4 separation procedure with high-energy ball milling was effective in eliminating the silica pick after activation with 2 M NaOH, which was confirmed by SEM-EDS data indicating there was no silica on the material's surface. Fe3O4 was separated, allowing use as an adsorbent to treat textile industry waste such as Remazol Turquoise Blue G-133 and Remazol Red RB-133. The adsorption of Fe3O4 on these two dyes occurred at pH 5, and as adsorbate concentration, contact time, and adsorption temperature of Fe3O4 were raised, the adsorption capacity increased. Remazol Turquoise Blue G-133 and Remazol Red RB-133 have qmax values of 16.75 and 1.43 mg/g, respectively. The isothermal adsorption of Fe3O4 for the two dyes quite follows the Freundlich isothermal with KF values of 1.87 and 0.42 L/g and n values of 2.17 and 1.22, respectively, results suggest that the adsorption process occurs physically and forms a multilayer adsorption surface. These results are supported by data obtained from the adsorption kinetics, which shows that it follows the first-order adsorption kinetics. The dyes thermodynamics also showed positive results for ΔHo and ΔGo, indicating that the process of adsorption was endothermic and not spontaneous, but to the degree of disorder (ΔSo), Remazol Turquoise Blue G-133 outperformed Remazol Red RB-133.

Abstract

Haul Guru Sekumpul is an activity held every year. This activity involved approximately 25,000 volunteers. Pharmacists are involved as health volunteers who are placed at health posts. Pharmacists have managerial competence in pharmaceutical supplies and clinical pharmacy, so volunteer pharmacists focus on pharmacist practice at health posts. This community service aims to increase the role of pharmacists as Health Volunteers in Haul Guru Sekumpul activities. The volunteer pharmacist committee is the Indonesian Pharmacists Association from Kab. Banjar (PC IAI Banjar Regency). The stages of community service activities are coordination meetings with the Banjar District Health Service, recruitment of pharmacist volunteers, training of pharmacist volunteers, technical meetings, implementation of activities, and evaluation of activities. Implementation of the Haul Guru Sekumpul on Saturday-Sunday, January 13-14, 2024 in Sekumpul Village, Banjar Regency. There were 76 pharmacists involved who had gone through a recruitment, training, and technical meeting process. Pharmacist volunteer knowledge increased after participating in volunteer training from 63.40 to 73.96. The volunteer pharmacists involved were satisfied with the smoothness of the service, the committee's service, the committee's response, the benefits of training, and the benefits of technical meeting with a questionnaire score above 80. The conclusion was that pharmacists played a role in Haul Guru Sekumpul's activities as volunteer pharmacists at health posts.
