Abstract

By conducting a bibliometric analysis based on Scopus data from 2013 to 2023, this study provide a comprehensive overview of the research landscape concerning the interaction between moderate exercise and regular menstrual cycles in adolescents. This study aims to inform researchers, educators, clinicians, and policymakers about existing knowledge, identify research gaps, and guide future investigations. The Scopus database was utilized for data collection and analysis. The keywords used for the search included "exercise OR physical activity AND menstrual cycles AND adolescents".The Scopus website and VOS Viewer were utilized as the bibliometric analysis tools to conduct an analysis of the collected data. This analysis included examining the data distribution from the literature in Scopus, as well as visualizing the semantic network of documents. The consistent fluctuation in document numbers can be observed from year to year. The journal "Nutrients" continues to contribute up to the present time. Document distribution is predominantly in the field of medicine, followed by biochemistry and nursing. This collectively illuminates research evolution, source importance, and global collaboration in studying exercise's relation to the adolescent menstrual cycle. In conclusion, the continuous fluctuations, enduring input from "Nutrients," medical field's dominance in subject distribution, and the United States' pivotal role emphasize the urgency of investigating light exercise's link to menstrual cycles in adolescents due to its complexity.

Abstract

Antioxidants are chemicals that can inhibit or stop other molecules from oxidizing. Antioxidants can be found in the fruit known as sweet orange (Citrus sinensis). Orange peel essential oil is utilized in processed foods, medicines, cosmetics, and aromatherapy in the medical field. Therefore, the objective of this study was to identify the chemical content and antioxidant potential of sweet orange peel to be used as a lip balm. Processing sweet orange peel, steam distillation of essential oil, GC-MS analysis, formulating lip balm preparation, assessing lip balm preparation, and measuring antioxidant activity using a spectrophotometer and DPPH technique, were part of this study. Essential oil from sweet orange peel (Citrus sinensis L.) was analyzed using GC-MS (Gas Chromatography - Mass Spectroscopy), and the results obtained in this study were 1.4 - Cyclohexadiene, 1 - methyl. The lip balm formulation containing essential oil was evaluated as the most preferred formulation. The IC50 value of sweet orange peel essential oil was determined to be 85.2595386 ppm, which converts the antioxidant to strong.

Abstract

Endophytic fungi coexist without harms in the host in some parts or all parts of its lifecycle. Endophytic fungi excrete specialized bioactive compounds beneficial for of its host; the compound itself can be different from what can be found on their host. Endophytic fungi are capable to excrete biologically significant secondary metabolites acting as antidiabetic, antioxidant, antimicrobial, and cytostatic agents. Endophytic fungi existence are common across different plants; including Syzygium zeylanicum that can be found in Indonesia. This study aims to isolate endophytic fungi found in leaves of Syzygium zeylanicum, L., to elucidate their characterized morphologically, and to examine its antimicrobial and antioxidant properties in addition to their chemical structures. Characterization of endophytic fungi was conducted by their macroscopic and microscopic features, followed by molecular characterization of highly bioactive metabolites. Antimicrobial activities were measured by disc diffusion method. Antioxidant properties were measured with DPPH. Secondary metabolites were chromatographically isolated and identified with spectroscopy techniques (NMR ID and 2D). Four endophytic fungi isolates were obtained: Penicillium citrinum (SZ1), Colletotrichum lindemuthianum (SZ2), Aspergillus nidulan (SZ3), Scopulariopsis asperula (SZ4). Penicillium citrinum (SZ1) showed antimicrobial activities against four different bacteria (71.3% against E. coli; 74.1% against S. aureus; 76.2% against S. typhi; and dan76.9% against B. subtilis). Antioxidant activity ini all ekstrak of endophytic fungi showed very activity (IC50 SZ3 extract = 3.85 µg/mL). Potential endophytic fungi SZ1 was molecularly identified as Penicillium citrinum. Extracts from SZ1 fungi contains bioactive 4-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-ɣ-butyrolactone-3-yl) methyl acetate. The newly obtained substance could be developed into antimicrobial and antioxidant agents in further studies.

Abstract

Pada tanggal 10 Juli s/d 29 Juli 2023 kami telah melaksanakan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) di Desa Kuala lama, Kec.Pantai cermin, Kab.Serdang Berdagai, Prov. Sumatera Utara. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan program ini yaitu agar  mahasiswa memperoleh pengalaman belajar yang lebih baik  melalui keterlibatan dalam masyarakat yang secara langsung menemukan, merumuskan, memecahkan dan memberikan solusi dari  permasalahan yang berada dilapangan. Adapun sasaran dari pemberdayaan masyarakat yang kami lakukan yaitu Masyarakat sekitar dan anak-anak yang sedang dalam masa perkembangan. Banyak program yang kami laksanakan di Desa kuala lama. Program- program tersebut ikut serta masuk ke dalam sekolah seperti SD dan TK,meliputi kegiatan belajar mengajar yang di khususkan untuk anak-anak  di posko, bergotong royong di Kantor Desa dan ikut langsung dalam membantu dalam posyandu lansia, mempromosikan kampus, sosilisasi kerumah masyarakat, membuat kegiatan senam untuk anak-anak, mempelajari pembuatan ikan asin, dan mensosialisasikan jamu serta membuat tanaman hidup sebagi obat keluarga di Desa kuala lama  Program- program tersebut dapat terlaksana dengan baik dan dapat diterima oleh masyarakat setempat dan dapat bermanfaat bagi warga sekitar.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has assured a diversity of right to its citizens to confess a different religion as an individual faith. All the rules and orders of religion must be independently believed and obeyed by each adherent. They should openhandedly carry out both rituals as well as compulsions. Historically, Indonesia consists of diverse cultures that serves as local wisdoms which are inherent with society development in nature. Then, as one of among religions in Indonesia, Islam has been able to make local wisdoms as a means of propaganda for the success of spreading Islamic messages. This indicates that there is a sturdy synergy between local wisdoms and religious rituals in achieving their own goals. Moreover, in real practice, these two local wisdoms and religious rituals are habitually combined as the expressions of a civilized society, as done by the villagers of Panjaitan Imogiri located inside the cemetery of the Kings Imogiri. The King conducted Nguras Kong and Ngaras Siwur ceremonials surrounding the communities of local residents and they were confidently considered to be sacred rituals for blessing their lives. To conclude, the harmonization between both Islam and cultural diversity, Indonesia has been able to develop varied local wisdoms to open a wide range of individual freedom for respecting the different beliefs and traditions among the society members for common peace and prosperity.

Abstract

Background: Crossmatch with positive Major, positive Minor, positive Auto Control results, a DCT examination is carried out whose positive results are suspected to indicate an AIHA diagnosis in the patient, if given there must be a letter from the doctor treating the patient requesting blood to be transfused. Method : Observational descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach, the results of incompatible crossmatch of autoimmune haemolytic anemia patients in 97 patients with elderly characteristics at PMI Semarang City in January 2021-December 2022. Data collection methods using secondary data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate with Microsoft Excel 2010 and SPSS Version 26 Results: Most crossmatch incompatibilities were found at age > 56 years (66%), Major Positive (99%), Positive AutoControl (99%), Diagnosis of Autoimmune Haemolytic Anemia (AIHA). The results of the bivariate test showed that the major crossmatch was -0.073 while the Auto Control was 0.142. This indicates that age does not affect the results of incompatible crossmatches. Conclusion: Most of the needs were met by female sex as many as 118 patients with positive rhesus blood type and dominated by the age of 1-10 years. Analysis of incompatible crossmatch results based on the characteristics of patients with autoimmune haemolytic anemia at PMI Semarang City in 2021-2022 with the result that age can affect the results of incompatible crossmatches.

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Tindakan sectio caesarea berdampak terhadap termanipulasinya organ abdomen serta menurunkan peristaltik usus dan terjadi distensi abdomen. Pengaruh dari obat anestesi dapat memperlambat atau menghentikan gelombang peristaltik usus yang dapat mengakibatkan pergerakan usus terdengar lemah bahkan hilang dimana pergerakan usus berfungsi untuk membantu pencernaan. Mobilisasi dini diharapkan mampu mempercepat munculnya peristaltik usus, mengurangi rasa nyeri sehingga mempercepat penyembuhan pasien post sectio caesarea dan dapat memperpendek LOS (Long of Stay). Tujuan penelitian: mengetahui pengaruh mobilisasi dini terhadap pemulihan peristaltik usus pasien post sectio caesarea di Ruang Nusa Indah 2 RSUD Sleman. Metode penelitian: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif quasi eksperimen dengan one group pretest dan posttest design without control group. Sampel sebanyak 16 ibu post SC dengan anestesi spinal di RSUD Sleman. Teknik Sampling dengan Purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan lembar observasi dan SPO. Data dianalisis menggunkan Paired T-Test karena data terdisribusi normal. Hasil: Rata-rata peristaltik usus sebelum dilakukan mobilisasi adalah 4,56 dan sesudah dilakukan mobilisasi adalah 25,12 yang dapat digolongkan dalam peristaltik usus normal. Hasil paired sampel t-test diperoleh p value = 0,001 < ɑ = 0,05 Kesimpulan: Ada pengaruh mobilisasi dini terhadap pemulihan peristaltik usus pasien post sectio caesarea di Ruang Nusa Indah 2 RSUD Sleman

Abstract

Pregnant women who experience chronic energy deficiency (KEK) can put their baby at risk of stunting. Stunting is a child's developmental disorder caused by a lack of nutritional intake, infection, or inadequate stimulation. Flat feet in children are a consequence of various factors such as obesity or heredity. It can be classified as a physiological or pathological disorder. Foot problems such as flat feet or flat feet are one of the main causes of various other complaints that are often underestimated. The implementation method used in this Community Service activity is presentation, discussion, and mentoring. It was concluded that increasing stunting knowledge for SEZ pregnant women and flatfoot risk factors in children meant that the learning process which lasted for two sessions with 20 participants of pregnant women with SEZs could be carried out smoothly and well.

Abstract

Teenagers have a strong sense of their individual identity, interests, and personal desires and tend to be better able to defend themselves so as not to be affected by the bandwagon. The aim of this research is to analyze the social impact of the bandwagon effect on the existence of teenagers in Pekanbaru City and Bukitinggi City. The research method uses a qualitative approach. Nine informants came from the cities of Pekanbaru and Bukit Tinggi. Informants came from the Tourism, Youth, and Sports Agency, the Latah Tuah Studio, and the Titian Rang Mudo Art Studio. According to the research, there are many advantages for teenagers who actively support the preservation of Minang and Malay culture and are not subject to the harmful bandwagon effect. They have a deep understanding of their culture, strengthen their identity, contribute to cultural preservation, increase respect for other cultures, create communities and networks, and develop their skills and talents. They can strengthen their cultural heritage, develop a sense of pride and self-esteem, and promote intercultural tolerance and understanding.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan dan perkembangan balita merupakan indikator utama dari kesehatan anak-anak. Pemantauan pertumbuhan balita menjadi sangat penting untuk memastikan bahwa mereka menerima asupan gizi yang cukup dan memadai. Di Indonesia, meskipun terdapat peningkatan dalam pemantauan pertumbuhan balita, masih terdapat tantangan terkait kepatuhan ibu dalam melakukan pemantauan tersebut. Pengetahuan ibu tentang status gizi balita menjadi faktor yang mendasar dalam proses ini. Posyandu (Pos Pelayanan Terpadu) di Indonesia memiliki peran strategis dalam upaya pemantauan dan perbaikan status gizi balita. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan ibu tentang status gizi dengan kepatuhan pemantauan pertumbuhan balita. Metode penelitian yang menggunakan penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan desain cross sectional dan teknik analisis bivariat menggunakan uji statistic spearmen rank dan uji T. Hasil analisis bivariatnya menggunakan Korelasi Spearman Rank diperoleh nilai korelasi sebesar 0.272 dengan nilai probabilitas sebesar 0.034. Sehingga didapatkan hasil nilai r-hitung > r-tabel, Kesimpulannya adalah ada hubungan antara pengetahuan ibu tentang status gizi dengan kepatuhan pemantauan pertumbuhan balita usia 1-4 tahun.
