Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Talking Stick model assistedby the Question Box media on the science learning outcomes for fourth grade students at Mojotengah Village, Kedu District, Temnggung Regency. This research is a type of Pre-Experimental Design research, with the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design model. Samples had taken as many as 20 students used as an experimental class. The samplingtechnique used saturated sampling. Data collection used the test method. This test is usedto test the extent to which students experience changes in science learning outcomesbefore and after being treated. The analysis used in this study is the Wilcoxon Signed RankTest with SPSS version 16.0. The results showed the Talking Stick model assisted by theQuestion Box media on the science learning outcomes. Evidence of an increase in studentsscience learning outcomes is a significant difference between the pretest score and theposttest score, the average pretest score 0f 62.45 while the posttest score is 80.3. This issupported by the existence of a hypothesis test conducted with the Wilcoxon Signed RankTest, the Z obtained score -3.729. with Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 (0.000 < 0.005). basedon the results of the analysis and discussion there was an increase of 17.85 from theaverage results of the preest and posttest. The results of this research can be concludedthat the use of Talking Stick model assisted by the Question Box media has a significanteffect on the science learning outcomeson the theory style and motion

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of behavioral approach group counseling with modeling techniques on improving student learning discipline. This research is animpure experimental research (Pre-experimental Design (non design)), with the experimental form of One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample of this study was selected by purposive sampling. The samples taken in this study were 5 students or teenagers as the experimental group. The method of data analysis was confirmed by using a disciplinary questionnaire in learning. Test the validity of the disciplinary questionnaire instrument in learning by using the product moment formula while the reliability test using the Cronbach alpha formula with the help of the SPSS For Windows version 24.00 program. The analysis prerequisite test consists of a normality test and a homogeneity test. Data analysis used parametric statistical techniques, namely the Paired Sample T-Test test with the help of the SPSS For Windows version 24.00 program. The results of this study indicate that behavioral group counseling Modeling techniques have an effect on increasing discipline in student learning. This is evidenced by the results of the paired sample t-test by showing the asymp probability. sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05 then H0 is rejected, Ha is accepted, whereas if the probability is asymp. Sig. (2-tailed)> 0.05 then H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected. In the table above, it can be seen the probability value of asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) <0.05 or 0.000 <0.05 or H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, then according to the basis of decision making in the paired sample t-test, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in the pretest and posttest scores in filling out the discipline questionnaire in learning, so that group counseling services with a behavioral approach to improve student learning discipline.

Abstract

Along with the development of the times and culture's contact from outside, the moral boundaries that are firmly held by the community are increasingly unclear. At school, for example, many students experience a decline in moral reasoning. However, the limited literature that focuses on improving moral reasoning with a quasi-experimental approach, the author will examine psychological interventions Rational Emotive Behavior Counseling (REB) and Psychoeducation (PSE). This study aims to identify differences in effectiveness between group counseling interventions with PSE and REB in improving students' moral reasoning. The author uses a quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest follow-up design. The study subjects were Sarbini Islamic Junior High School students who had low moral levels. The research subjects consisted of 22 students divided into 11 students in the PSE group and 11 students in the counseling group with the REB approach. The data analysis results showed differences in students' moral reasoning in the REB and PSE groups. The average increase in students' moral reasoning was higher in the REB group than in the PSE group. The author concludes that group counseling with REB and PSE approaches can be applied to improve moral reasoning in students in schools, especially those based on Islam. However, for more optimal results, the authors suggest using REB.

Abstract

Psychological well-being is an important component for adolescents. This research examined the influence of gratitude training to enhance the psychological well-being of adolescents with single parents at a Junior High School. This research applied a true experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects were taken randomly and consisted of 24 adolescents with single parents. The subjects were then grouped into experimental and control groups, each consisting of 12 individuals. The experimental group received the gratitude training, consisting of 6 sessions. The psychological well-being scale for Indonesian adolescents aged between 12 and 15 was used to collect the data. ANOVA mixed design with SPSS 25 for Windows was applied to analyze the data. The result shows a significant interaction between the group and test, indicating the changes between the experiment and control groups significantly differ from pretest to posttest. Based on post hoc analysis, there is a significant mean difference in psychological well-being in the experimental group, with the mean of the pretest being lower than in the posttest. Therefore, gratitude training enhances the psychological well-being of adolescents with single parents. Adolescents need to apply gratitude to their daily activities to enhance their psychological well-being.
