Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dan Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas V SDN 124386 Pematangsiantar. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain quasi experiment jenis Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel terdiri dari dua kelas, masing-masing 24 siswa. Kelas VA menggunakan model Discovery Learning, sedangkan kelas VB menggunakan model Problem Based Learning. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes pilihan ganda. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji-t Independent Sample T-Test menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata post-test kelas VB lebih tinggi (87,29) dibandingkan kelas VA (76,04), dengan nilai signifikansi < 0,001. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak, artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua model pembelajaran. Kesimpulannya, model Problem Based Learning lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS dibandingkan Discovery Learning.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Pengaruh Permaianan Kata Baku Benar (KABAR) Terhadap Hasil Belajar Bahasa Indonesia Siswa Kelas IV SD Swasta Advent Air Bersih Medan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kelompok kontrol pretest-posttest, yang berarti mereka (kedua kelompok) akan diberi pretest dan postest. Teknik pengumpulan data yang penulis gunakan berupa tes, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV-A dan IV-B yang berjumlah 44 siswa di SD Swasta Advent Air Bersih Medan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah uji statistic uji-t (t-test) dengan menggunakan SPPS 26. Berdasarkan hasil uji-t , diketahui bahwa nilai pada kolom sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,000. Mengacu pada hasil yang didapatkan, jika dibandingkan dengan nilai signifikansi 0,05, maka dapat diketahui bahwa 0,000 < 0,05, dan mendapatkan t- hitung = 4,938 sedangkan t-tabel = 2,021 (t-hitung < t-tabel). Hal tersebut berarti bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima yang berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada permainan kata baku benar (KABAR) terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas IV SD Advent Air Bersih Medan.

Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of Canva-based digital books to improve the civics learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 055981 Beruam. This research is the research and development of the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) conducted at SD Negeri 055981 Beruam with research subjects consisting of material, media, language, teachers, and 30 students. data collected from validation questionnaires of material, language, and media experts to determine the level of feasibility, then teacher and student questionnaires to determine the level of practicality, and tests to determine the level of effectiveness. The results showed that the results of the material expert assessment were 92.5% very feasible achievement, then the media expert was 91.7% very feasible achievement, and the language expert was 90% very feasible achievement. Calculated from the assessment of the three experts, an average of 91.7% was very feasible achievement. Then the results of the practicality test conducted by teachers and students obtained an average student assessment of 87.75% very practical achievement and an average teacher assessment of 93.75% very practical achievement, so that calculated from the practicality assessment, an average of 90.75% very practical achievement was obtained. Finally, the effectiveness of canva-based digital books is assessed by the gain test, and a value of 0.56 is obtained in the medium category. So it can be concluded that the canva-based digital book developed has a level of feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness that can be used to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The research aims to develop a textbook that integrates design thinking to optimize project-based learning. The article presents the results of integration feasibility and effectiveness tests design thinking to optimize the project-based learning process. The research aims to provide a textbook that supports project-based learning design thinking to fulfill the content, process, and means of learning. R&D was carried out by adopting the Thiagarajan Four-D model for the MKWK for Citizenship Education at Universitas Negeri Medan. Data was collected by observation, document study, literature study, questionnaires, and tests. Development results in textbook-based design thinking to optimize project-based learning is declared feasible. This conclusion was confirmed after validating linguistic, media, and material aspects, and was declared valid because the V index value (V ≥ 0.61). Textbook-based design thinking is considered practical by lecturers and students, the V index value is greater (V ≥ 0.61). Implementation of textbook-based design thinking, which has been developed, affects student learning outcomes based on the paired t-test producing a significance value of p = 0.000 (sig. 0.000 < 0.05). This significance value confirms the significant positive (meaningful) influence textbooks on student learning outcomes after intervention or treatment and does not happen by chance.

Abstract

Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada materi pecahan di SDN 105288 Sei Rotan disebabkan oleh penyampaian materi yang bersifat abstrak dan kurangnya media pembelajaran yang menarik serta interaktif. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan media Fraction Card sebagai alat bantu konkret dan berbasis permainan yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep pecahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media Fraction Card terhadap hasil belajar Matematika siswa kelas IV. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN 105288 Sei Rotan yang berjumlah 60 orang. Sampel penelitian diambil secara simple random sampling dan terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas IV-A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan IV-B sebagai kelas kontrol. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group. Instrumen penelitian berupa 15 soal pilihan berganda yang telah melalui uji validitas, tingkat kesukaran, daya beda, distraktor dan reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai posttest kelas eksperimen mencapai 91,47, lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol yang memperoleh 82,93. Uji hipotesis menggunakan t-test menghasilkan nilai thitung 3,213 > ttabel 1,677 pada taraf signifikan 0,05, sehingga hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media Fraction Card berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar Matematika siswa

Abstract

Abstract: This community service activity aims to improve the competence of Elementary School teachers in compiling Smart Technology-based Pancasila Education assessment instruments. The main problems faced are the low quality of assessment instruments and the minimal use of technology in the learning evaluation process. This activity was carried out in the Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG) of SDN Deli Tua District involving 30 teachers from various elementary schools in the area. The design of this activity includes four main stages, namely the preparation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation stages, and follow-up. Teachers are given an understanding of the principles of valid, reliable, and objective assessment, and are trained in the use of various technology applications such as Google Form, Quizizz, Plickers, and Anates. In addition, they also receive guidance in compiling and analyzing digital-based assessment instruments that can be applied in the classroom. The results of the activity show that the results of the activity show that teachers' understanding of the principles of technology-based assessment reaches 90%, with 85% of teachers being able to compile Smart Technology-based instruments and analyze them validly, reliably, and objectively. In addition, teacher readiness in integrating technology in evaluation reached 80%, supported by an increase in self-confidence of 85%, and the results of the instruments created met good quality standards with an achievement of 80%. In conclusion, this assistance has a positive impact on improving teacher competence in compiling and implementing Smart Technology-based assessment instruments, so that it is expected to improve the quality of assessment and the effectiveness of learning in Elementary Schools. Keyword: Assessment Instruments, Smart Technology, Pancasila Education   Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru Sekolah Dasar dalam menyusun instrumen penilaian Pendidikan Pancasila berbasis Smart Technology. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi adalah rendahnya kualitas instrumen penilaian serta minimnya pemanfaatan teknologi dalam evaluasi pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG) SDN Kecamatan Deli Tua dengan melibatkan 30 guru dari berbagai sekolah dasar di wilayah tersebut. Rancangan kegiatan terdiri dari empat tahapan utama, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, monitoring dan evaluasi, serta tindak lanjut. Guru diberikan pemahaman mengenai prinsip penilaian yang valid, reliabel, dan objektif, serta dilatih menggunakan aplikasi teknologi seperti Google Form, Quizizz, Plickers, dan Anates. Selain itu, mereka juga mendapatkan bimbingan dalam menyusun dan menganalisis instrumen penilaian berbasis digital yang dapat diterapkan di kelas.Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman guru terhadap prinsip penilaian berbasis teknologi mencapai 90%, dengan 85% guru mampu menyusun dan menganalisis instrumen berbasis Smart Technology. Kesiapan guru dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam evaluasi mencapai 80%, didukung oleh peningkatan kepercayaan diri sebesar 85%, serta kualitas instrumen yang dibuat mencapai 80%. Kesimpulannya, pendampingan ini berdampak positif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam melaksanakan penilaian, sehingga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas asesmen dan efektivitas pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Learning Management System (LMS) implementation in the context of educational management in Vocational High Schools (SMK), with a prospective study at SMK Negeri 8 Medan. The research approach uses a quantitative method design. The main variables include: the quality of LMS implementation (infrastructure, teacher training, user adoption), learning outcomes (student technical competence, achievement of competency standards), and managerial indicators (administrative efficiency, teacher performance monitoring). The sample involved students, teachers, and education personnel. The analysis used a mixed linear model for longitudinal data and thematic analysis for qualitative data. The results are expected to provide empirical evidence on the determinants of LMS effectiveness and managerial recommendations for optimizing implementation in SMK.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze educational planning in the development of vocational schools, particularly vocational high schools (SMK). Educational planning is a fundamental aspect of national development, aiming not only to produce academic competencies but also to develop character, creativity, and adaptability in learners. Vocational education at Vocational High Schools (SMK) plays a strategic role in preparing skilled labor aligned with the needs of business and industry. However, challenges in graduate absorption necessitate innovative and adaptive educational planning. Learning models such as Teaching Factory (TeFa), strengthening cooperation with MSMEs, and instilling entrepreneurship are crucial steps. Philosophical foundations, comprehensive planning theories, along with progressive and humanistic educational approaches provide the main framework. Implementation of competency-based curricula, enhancement of qualified educators, industry-standard facilities, project and work-based learning methods, and close collaboration with business and industry are key to successful vocational education and producing graduates ready for work and global competitiveness.

Abstract

Classroom management control is one of the principal’s key functions in ensuring that the teaching and learning process runs effectively and meets educational standards. In practice, however, supervision is often carried out in an unsystematic manner, which affects the optimal development of teachers’ pedagogical competence. This study aims to analyze the forms of classroom management control implemented by the school principal and its impact on teachers’ pedagogical competence at SD Negeri 060874 Medan. A qualitative research approach with a case study design was employed. Data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with the principal and teachers, and document analysis of supervision records. The findings reveal that the principal’s classroom management control includes lesson observations, inspection of teaching documents, and provision of feedback. Nevertheless, such control tends to be administrative in nature and lacks strong instructional guidance, which limits its effectiveness in enhancing teachers’ ability to design learning activities, implement active strategies, and conduct authentic assessments. The study concludes that the effectiveness of classroom management control depends heavily on the consistency of supervision, the quality of feedback, and the follow-up of professional development activities. The implications highlight the need for principals to strengthen instructional supervision through coaching and reflective practices to foster the optimal growth of teachers’ pedagogical competence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui gambaran kesulitan membaca pemahaman siswa pada teks narasi di kelas v SD Negeri 064005 Martubung dan (2) mengetahui jenis kesulitan yang dialami oleh siswa dalam membaca pemahaman pada teks narasi di kelas V SD Negeri 064005 Martubung. Adapun jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes pilihan ganda yang dirancang dengan menggunakan tingkatan soal sesuai membaca pemahaman pada taksonomi Barret untuk mengidentifikasi kesulitan yang dialami oleh siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 48% siswa memahami tes dan 52% siswa tidak memahami teks. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang dilakukan dari penelitian ini diperoleh terdapat 5 jenis kesulitan membaca pemahaman yang dialami oleh siswa kelas V SD Negeri 064005 Martubung yaitu pemahaman literal dengan kesulitan terbesar terdapat pada butir soal nomor 3 sebanyak 19 siswa (63%), pemahaman reorganisasi dengan kesulitan terbesar pada butir soal nomor 5 dan 6 sebanyak 17 siswa (57%), pemahaman inferensial dengan kesulitan terbesar pada butir soal nomor 12 sebanyak 24 siswa (80%), pemahaman evaluasi dengan kesulitan terbesar pada butir soal nomor 15 sebanyak 17 siswa (57%), dan pemahaman apresiasi dengan kesulitan terbesar pada butir soal nomor 20 sebanyak 18 siswa (60%).
