Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang menghambat efektivitas pembelajaran, khususnya dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar. Siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menulis narasi akibat rasa bosan dan kesulitan menyusun bahasa. Penelitian bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa video animasi menggunakan aplikasi Canva dan mengevaluasi validitas, kepraktisan, serta efektivitasnya melalui metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Hasil validasi menunjukkan media ini sangat valid dengan skor 94,6% untuk media, 93,8% untuk materi, dan 96% untuk bahasa. Kepraktisan media juga sangat tinggi dengan skor di atas 93% dari guru dan siswa di semua sekolah uji coba. Pengujian efektivitas melalui N-Gain menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan, dengan skor antara 0,76 hingga 0,79, yang tergolong efektif. Media video animasi ini dinyatakan valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis narasi siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This article is about a classroom action research conducted to improve theability of students in Grade V, Elementary School of Sumbersari III, Malang, inwriting poetry by means of a mind-mapping strategy. With the low level of thestudents' ability in writing poetry as the background of the research, the researchwas conducted in two cycles, each of which consisted of the stages of planning andimplementation. Each stage consisted of the activities of (a) finding anddeveloping ideas, (b) writing, (c) presentation, and (d) evaluation. Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of students' writing skills using the Numbered Head Together (NHT) Cooperative Type model in Indonesian language learning in class IV SDN 01 Asam Kumbang. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) using qualitative and quantitative approaches carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects in this study were teachers and grade IV students of SDN 01 Asam Kumbang, totaling 19 people in the January-June semester of the 2024/2025 school year. The research data are in the form of observations of teaching modules, observations of teacher and learner activities, and the results of students' writing skills using the Numbered Head Together (NHT) Cooperative Type model. Data collection techniques in the form of observation analysis or observation, tests and non-tests. The results of observations of teaching module planning cycle I 85.42% (B), increased in cycle II 91.66% (SB). The results of observations of the teacher aspect of cycle I 83.33% (B), increased in cycle II 95.83% (SB). The results of the observation of the learner aspect of cycle I 83.33% (B), increased in cycle II 95.83% (SB). The writing skills of students in cycle I 70.45 (C), increased in cycle II 86.08% (B). The research shows that the Numbered Head Together (NHT) Cooperative model can improve the writing skills of students in learning Indonesian in class IV of SDN 01 Asam Kumbang.

Abstract

This article contains community service program activities for lecturers in the Information Technology department, in order to fulfill the Tridharma of Padang State Polytechnic Higher Education for the 2024 fiscal year. The activities carried out are providing Presentation Skills Improvement Training for SMAN 1 Padang students with the aim of equipping students with good communication skills. effective, especially in the context of delivering material orally in public using the Canva application. This training is motivated by the importance of presentation skills in supporting academic and career success in the future. The methods used include lectures, interactive discussions, and direct practice involving presentation simulations. Participants were also given tips and techniques for mastering material, using body language, voice intonation, and managing nervousness when speaking in public. The results of this training showed a significant increase in students' confidence and their ability to use Canva and deliver structured and engaging presentations. Thus, it is hoped that this training can improve the quality of students' communication skills which are useful both in academic and social environments.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the improvement of students' reading comprehension skills through the application of the Discovery Learning model to the fourth-grade students of SDN 20 Indarung in Padang City. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with qualitative and quantitative approaches, which is conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this study are the teacher and the students in grade IV SDN 20 Indarung, totaling 30 people, consisting of 16 female students and 14 male students. The research results indicate that the teaching module experienced an improvement from cycle I with an average percentage of 85.41% categorized as good (B) to 91.66% rated as very good (SB) in cycle II. The implementation of learning through the observable aspects of the teacher improved from cycle I with an average percentage of 82.81% categorized as good (B) to 90.62% rated as very good (SB) in cycle II. Meanwhile, the observable aspect of the students improved from cycle I with an average percentage of 81.25% categorized as good (B) to 87.5% rated as good (B) in cycle II. The results of students' reading comprehension skills using the Discovery Learning model have increased from cycle I with an average percentage of 74.45% with a sufficient predicate (C) to 89.01% good (B) in cycle II. With this in mind, the Discovery Learning model can improve the reading comprehension skills of students in class IV SDN 20 Indarung Kota Padang.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the planning, implementation, and improvement of narrative text writing skills using the Discovery Learning model in grade V of SD Negeri 03 Binuang Kampung Dalam, Kota Padang. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The research is conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of the research are the teacher and 28 students of grade V from SD Negeri 03 Binuang Kampung Dalam, Kota Padang, which consists of 11 male students and 17 female students. The research results indicate an improvement, in cycle I starting with the analysis of lesson planning modules: a) the lesson module showed an average percentage assessment of 89.58% (B) in cycle I, increased to 95.83% (SB) in cycle II, b) the implementation aspect of the teacher in cycle I achieved an average percentage of 82.82% (B) which increased to 96.87% (SB) in cycle II. Meanwhile, the implementation aspect of the students in cycle I obtained an average percentage of 82.82% (B) which increased to 96.87% (SB) in cycle II, c) the assessment of students' knowledge learning outcomes in cycle I obtained an average of 60.71 (D) increased in cycle II to an average score of 84.64 (B). The assessment of learning outcomes in skills during Cycle I achieved an average score of 76.79 (C), which improved in Cycle II with an average score of 85.97 (B).

Abstract

This research aims to describe the improvement in integrated thematic learning outcomes using the team quiz model in class V of SD Negeri 125 Tebingtinggi. This research uses the classroom action method (PTK). This research uses qualitative and quantitative research which was carried out in 2 cycles, cycle I was carried out in 2 meetings and cycle II was carried out in 1 meeting. Data collection techniques include observation, tests and non-tests. The subjects of this research were teachers and all class V students at SD Negeri 125 Tebingtinggi. The results of the research showed that there was an increase in three research aspects, namely: (a) planning in cycle I obtained a score of 80.35% (B) increased in cycle II to 92.85% (AB), (b) implementation of learning aspects in cycle I teachers obtained a score 82.95% (B) while the student aspect received a score of 77.27% (C), increasing in the second cycle in the teacher aspect to 95.45% (B) and the student aspect also obtained a score of 95.45% (AB), (c ) student learning outcomes in cycle I obtained an average score of 78.26 (C) increasing in cycle II to 86.60 (B). Thus, it can be concluded that the Team Quiz model can improve student learning outcomes in class V of SD Negeri 125 Tebingtinggi.

Abstract

Keadaan lapangan, khususnya hasil belajar siswa yang kurang baik, menjadi landasan diadakannya penelitian ini. Penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Dua siklus penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan model kooperatif Talking Stick. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dalam perencanaan pembelajaran, dengan siklus I mencapai rata-rata 85,5% dan siklus II mencapai 91%. Pada siklus I rata-rata kegiatan guru terlaksana 88,5% angka ini meningkat menjadi 94% pada siklus II. Rata-rata tingkat keterlaksanaan aktivitas siswa berkisar antara 88,5% pada siklus I hingga 94% pada siklus II. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I adalah 76,28%, dan hasil belajar siklus II adalah 90,13%. Simpulannya, siswa Kelas III SDN 18 Air Tawar Selatan Kota Padang dapat memperoleh hasil yang lebih baik dalam pembelajaran tematik terpadu dengan memanfaatkan model kooperatif tipe Talking Stick.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kemampuan menulis teks eksplanasi peserta didik masih tergolong rendah. Hal ini dikarenakan guru belum optimal dalam memanfaatkan model dan media pembelajaran yang tepat dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi menggunakan model Discovery Learning berbantuan media audiovisual pada peserta didik kelas V SDN 01 pancung Soal Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru dan peserta didik kelas V SDN 01 Pancung Soal yang berjumlah 20 orang yang terdiri dari 11 perempuan dan 9 laki-laki. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan, pada siklus I dimulai dengan hasil analisis penyusunan modul ajar: a) Modul Ajar menunjukkan rata-rata pada siklus I 87,49% (B) meningkat menjadi 95,83% (SB) pada siklus II, b) pelaksanaan aspek guru siklus I 81,25% (B) meningkat menjadi 93,75% (SB) pada siklus II, sedangkan pelaksanaan aspek peserta didik pada siklus I 81,25% (B) meningkat menjadi 93,75% (SB) pada siklus II, c) penilaian terhadap keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi peserta didik pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata 71,88 (C) dan siklus II memperoleh nilai rata-rata 83,60 (B). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Discovery Learning berbantuan media audiovisual dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi peserta didik di kelas V SDN 01 Pancung Soal.
