Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas upaya pondok pesantren dalam mengatasi perilaku menyimpang pada santri di pondok pesantren Miftahul Huda III Kelurahan Margabakti Kecamatan Cibeureum Kota Tasikmalaya. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya permasalahan perilaku menyimpang yang dilakukan oleh santri di pondok pesantren. perilaku menyimpang tersebut berkaitan dengan pelanggaran-pelanggaran peraturan tata tertib yang telah ditetapkan oleh pesantren. Pesantren sebagai bengkel moral tentunya memiliki peranan penting dalam upaya mengatasi segala bentuk perilaku menyimpang yang terjadi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi pondok pesantren dalam mengatasi perilaku menyimpang pada santri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Informan penelitian terdiri dari pengurus pondok pesantren, santri laki-laki dan santri perempuan, serta masyarakat sekitar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa upaya yang dilakukan oleh pondok pesantren dalam mengatasi santri yang berperilaku menyimpang yaitu dengan memberikan teguran, memberikan sanksi dan denda, serta melakukan kerja sama dengan masyarakat. Diharapkan dengan upaya tersebut, santri mampu berperilaku sesuai dengan nilai dan norma yang berlaku agar tercipta kembali kondisi sosial yang tertib.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh cara pembagian harta warisan pada masyarakat Suku Semende yang cukup unik dan berbeda dengan wilayah lainnya, sistem ini disebut dengan Tunggu Tubang. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Gunung Agung Kecamatan Semende Darat Tengah Kabupaten Muara Enim Provinsi Sumatra Selatan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara mendalam, studi dokumentasi, dan studi literatur. Temuan hasil penelitian ini adalah proses pembagian harta warisan di Desa Gunung Agung dilakukan dengan sistem Tunggu Tubang dimana anak perempuan yang terlahir pertama yang mendapatkan harta pusaka, harta pusaka ini berupa sebuah rumah dan sebidang sawah. Harta pusaka tidak dapat dijual dan hanya dapat menikmati hasil. Tugas Tunggu Tubang adalah menghimpun keluarga besar, mewakili keluarga besar, mengurus harta pusaka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan spiritual masyarakat modern yang mampu menyeimbangkan antara kehidupan modern dan keagamaan, serta dapat saling berdamai di dalamnya, salah satunya melalui budaya populer. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pemenuhan kebutuhan spiritual pada kalangan mahasiswa melalui budaya populer bernuansa islami di era modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 96 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perilaku religius mahasiswa dipengaruhi oleh budaya populer bernuansa islami sebesar 29%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pendidikan karakter peduli sosial di masyarakat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analitis yang mengambil setting masyarakat pluralisme di Cigugur Kuningan. Subjek penelitiannya adalah perwakilan masyarakat yang beragama Islam, Katolik, dan ADS (Agama Djawa Sunda). Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode penanaman karakter peduli sosial di lingkungan masyarakat Cigugur Kuningan adalah melalui keteladanan dan pembiasaan. Keteladanan karakter peduli sosial melalui pemuka agama Islam, Katolik, dan ADS. Sedangkan pembiasaan karakter peduli sosial melalui kegiatan-kegiatan di masyarakat yaitu gotong royong membangun tempat ibadah dan rumah warga, pembuatan jalan dan parit, serta saling membantu saat ada warga masyarakat yang terkena musibah.

Abstract

This study aims to find the concept of religious ethical values in the perspective of Islamic character education. The research method used is library research (literature study) in which the researcher conducts a review of the theories that come from books or journals that are relevant to the topic under study. The result of this research is a conceptual model of internalization of religious ethical values which is built on three concepts, namely first, tafhim (understanding) aims to know about knowledge; second, tazkiyatun nafs (purifying the soul) aims to want to improve itself through the process of takhalli (cleansing the soul) from sin and tahalli (beautifying oneself) with pious deeds; third, tahdzib (nurturing the soul) aims to be able to do good through mujahada, namely consistent sincerity in truth and riyadhah, namely training oneself to be always busy doing good deeds and leaving bad deeds. Thus, educational activities do not only focus on the transfer of knowledge, but also the transfer of value. Because education is not just about teaching reason alone. But more than that, education must be able to form a good character. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan konsep nilai etis religius dalam perspektif pendidikan karakter islami. Metode penelitian yang digunakan bersifat library research (studi kepustakaan) yang mana peneliti melakukan penelaahan terhadap teori-teori yang bersumber dari buku-buku atau jurnal yang relevan dengan topik yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian ini adalah konseptual model internaliasasi nilai etis religius yang dibangun pada tiga konsep, yakni pertama, tafhim (memahami) bertujuan untuk tahu tentang pengetahuan; kedua, tazkiyatun nafs (menyucikan jiwa) bertujuan untuk mau memperbaiki diri melalui proses takhalli (membersihkan jiwa) dari perbuatan dosa dan tahalli (memperindah diri) dengan amal soleh; ketiga, tahdzib (memelihara jiwa) bertujuan untuk mampu berbuat kebaikan melalui mujahadah yakni kesungguhan konsisten dalam kebenaran dan riyadhah yakni melatih diri senantiasa sibuk melakukan perbuatan baik dan mengginggalkan perbuatan buruk. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pendidikan tidak hanya fokus pada transfer of knowledge saja, melainkan juga transfer of value. Karena pendidikan bukan sekadar membelajarkan akal semata. Akan tetapi lebih dari itu, pendidikan harus mampu membentuk karakter yang baik (good character).

Abstract

Muslims' understanding of Islamic teaching is diverse. Jurists, for the instance, emphasize the aspect of the outer of the Sharī‘ah while Sufis focus on the aspect of that inner. In history, the tension between them is apparently seen. The first even accuses the second group as a deviant, a heretic, and an unbeliever. Regarding this phenomenon, the study will explore underlying terms in Sufism namely Sharī‘ah, Ṭarīqah, and Ḥaqīqah and explain the relation of these terms based on the library research and descriptive analysis of the three words in the two books, i.e. Asrār al-Sharī‘ah and Jāmi‘ al-Asrār wa Manba’ al-Anwār of Sayyid Ḥaydar Āmulī. Whether the terms are self-sufficient or interdependent? This study concludes that the three terms are an integral unity that cannot be separated from one another since those three terms refer to the one essence, the one Truth. Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the low character of students in responding to 21st-century globalization. Because of this, it is important to ask whether curriculum policies have prepared students to be adaptive to these dynamics. This article aims to analyze the character content and the gradations of student social development in the domain of attitudes in the applicable educational curriculum in Indonesia. This study used a qualitative content analysis method with a directed type design and a framework of eight character strengths that took the coding, theoretical approach, findings, and analysis stages of the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia document number 20 of 2016 concerning Basic and Secondary Education Graduate Competency Standards (SKL). The research found: first, the character content is in the attitude domain; spiritual and social, aimed at shaping the character strength of students to become religious, honest, caring, lifelong learners, and physically and mentally healthy; second, the gradation of student social development still focuses on real social development, and has not included the gradation of virtual social development of students as an effort to respond to 21st-century globalization. Therefore, this study recommends the Indonesian government revitalize the character content of SKL in educational curriculum policies by considering two forms of gradation of both real and virtual social development of students as the next generation of the nation.

Abstract

Learning process, as one of the core activities in education, is very prominent in realizing national education goals. However, in reality, despite the standard education process has been formulated, the learning process in Indonesia is still poorly developed. The purpose of this discussion is to analyze the regulations of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 22 Year 2016 regarding process standards in Primary and Secondary Education and their implications on Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in schools. This study uses a qualitative approach and analytical method. Based on the results of the discussion, the primary and secondary education process standards listed in the regulation Number 22 Year 2016 are reliable and comprehensive. The learning principle with a scientific approach has implications on the wholeness of PAI learning process, as the subject is required to be understood comprehensively, not partially. To accomplish this, PAI teachers must use approaches, strategies, methods, techniques, tactics and learning models that are in harmony with the learning material that is delivered, so that an effective and efficient learning process will be achieved.

Abstract

Islam encourages its followers to carry out investment activities in order to create an economic increase and equal income. Islam forbids its followers to accumulate wealth for the sake of enriching and selfishness for personal gain. This research uses descriptive research method with secondary data. The results show that not all types of investment are allowed. Investors, especially Muslims, need to know that not all types of investment are allowed in Islam. Investment in accordance with Islamic principles is an investment that is lawful and does not contain elements prohibited by Islam. The types of investment allowed by Islam are mudarabah and musyarakah. Meanwhile, investments that are not allowed by Islam are maisir, gharar, riba, batil, bay'i ma'dium, ihtikar, taghrir, ghabn, talaqqi al-rukban, ghishsh, tanajush / najsh, dharar, rishwah, immorality and wrongdoing. Investment is a muamalah activity which has four kinds of principles in Islam, namely monotheism, Al-'Adl wa al-Ihsan, endeavour, and responsibility. By understanding these principles, investors, especially Muslims, will avoid investment activities that are prohibited by Islam so that they will get the pleasure of Allah SWT and also profit that is lawful.
