Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the interaction of family and social environment on thevandalism behavior of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 14 Pontianak. Thisresearch method is quantitative with a research sample of 110 VIII students usingpurposive sampling. Data was taken using a questionnaire. The results showed thatvandalism was low at 60.8%, family harmony was 44.7% and the school environmentwas categorized as very high at 34.4%. The results of the test show Fcount (31,328) >Ftable (3.08) and a significance of 0.00 < 0.05, meaning that family harmony and socialenvironment have a significant effect on vandalism behavior. tcount of the decent familyharmony variable -4.486 > ttable 1.982 with a significance of 0.00 <0.05, which meansthat there is a significant negative effect. tcount of the appropriate school socialenvironment variable -2.547 > ttable 1.982 with a significance of 0.01 <0.05, whichmeans that there is a significant negative effect. Regression equation Y'= 68.074+ (-0.418) + (-0.313) + e. The determinant value of Adjusted R2 = 0.358, which means thatthe influence of family interaction and social environment on vandalism behavior is low,namely 35.8%.Keywords: Harmonious family, School Social Environment, Vandalism.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the television program "Hitam Putih" using the perspective of Peter M. Blau's social exchange theory. This theory emphasizes the importance of social interactions based on exchanges of value, where each party expects to gain rewards or benefits from social relationships. The study utilizes a library research method to review various literatures and references related to social exchange theory and the "Hitam Putih" program. The findings indicate that the program reflects the dynamics of social exchange through interactions between the host, guests, and audience, where exchanges of popularity, information, and experiences occur in a mutually beneficial manner. The host gains reputation and popularity, while the guests have the opportunity to share their stories and perspectives. The study highlights the importance of reciprocity in social relationships that influences the program's success.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui rangkaian prosesi awal, inti, akhir dan nilai-nilai ritual tradisi berias dalam proses perkawinan Etnis Melayu di Desa Makrampai Kabupaten Sambas. Ritual tradisi berias merupakan tradisi mencukur bulu-bulu halus disekitar wajah, yang memiliki tujuan dapat membuat kesan atau efek calon pengantin menjadi lebih berseri dan dipercayai dapat menghilangkan segala hal-hal buruk calon pengantin dengan jatuhnya bulu-bulu yang dicukur. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data yang digunakan meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Sedangkan analisis yang termuat dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tujuh orang informan yakni dua orang informan inti dan lima orang informan pendukung. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan prosesi awal meliputi penentuan waktu pelaksanaan; persiapan alat dan bahan; dan pembacaan pantan (mantra). Prosesi inti meliputi mengillingkan telur; mengambil sari kelapa; dan mengelilingkan dulangan. Prosesi akhir meliputi Pencukuran; berdoa; dan pemakaian prodak yang sudah di doakan. Selain itu, dalam ritual tradisi berias memiliki nilai-nilai yang disertakan dalam tradisi tersebut, sehingga dapat dijadikan sebagai sarana pendidikan sosial bagi masyarakat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui fungsi dan makna nilai ritual Balala Tamakng masyarakat etnis Dayak Kanayatn Desa Bagak Kecamatan Menyuke Kabupaten Landak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi reduksi data dan penyajian data. Sedangkan informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari empat orang yang memahami Balala Tamakng. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ritual Balala Tamakng dilakukan dalam satu tahun sekali sebagai bentuk permohonan masyarakat kepada Jubata atau Tuhan. Pelaksanaan ritual Balala Tamakng yang dilakukan masyarakat etnis Dayak Kanayatn di Desa Bagak meliputi prosesi awal yang terdiri dari bakomo atau berkumpul, meminta izin kepada leluhur di karamat, dan nganyut di paranyut. Pada prosesi inti masyarakat melaksanakan masa pantang, dan prosesi akhir ritual Balala Tamakng yaitu bungkas sampana. Selain itu, ritual Balala Tamakng juga mempunyai fungsi nilai seperti nilai sosial adanya kerjasama masyarakat setempat, nilai religius sebagai wujud penghormatan dan permohonan kepada leluhur, serta nilai alam sebagai sumber pengharapan dan sumber kehidupan bagi masyarakat etnis Dayak Kanayatn di Desa Bagak. Serta terdapat makna nilai dalam ritual Balala Tamakng yaitu makna alat dan makna bahan. Masyarakat etnis Dayak Kanayatn Desa Bagak mempercayai bahwa semua bahan dan alat peraga yang digunakan saat pelaksanaan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the social relations of kinship in the traditional wedding ceremony of the Taman Dayak tribe and to find out the stages in carrying out the Taman Dayak traditional marriage in Malapi Village, South Putussibau District. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative research form. The source of this research data is the traditional advice in Malapi Village. Data collection techniques in this study are through observation, interviews, recording and documentation. While the tools used in data collection are observation guides, interview guides and notebooks. The analysis in this study is presented in a qualitative descriptive form using 3 informants. The results of this study show the form of relations, while also showing that the implementation of Taman Dayak tribal marriages includes three stages, namely, the mananya' stage, the paloa' stage, and the sule' stage.

Abstract

The sociology teacher carries out his   a role model, motivator and guide in developing the social attitudes of class X IPS students. The role of the sociology teacher is as a guide in developing the social attitudes of class X IPS students with several strategies, good examples of discipline and self-confidence. The approach in this research is by type descriptive qualitative research. Meanwhile , data collection technique use observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Research analysis by reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing and verification. Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang pentingnya analisis penerapan augmented reality dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran sains di era digital. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah tantangan yang dihadapi dalam mengajarkan konsep-konsep abstrak pada pembelajaran sains, seperti struktur atom atau fenomena fisika yang sering sulit dipahami oleh peserta didik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi analisis dampak augmented reality terhadap pemahaman dan keterlibatan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran sains. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan studi kepustakaan sebagai dasar pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan augmented reality secara signifikan meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi sains melalui visualisasi konsep-konsep abstrak dalam bentuk interaktif. Augmented reality juga meningkatkan keterlibatan dan motivasi belajar peserta didik karena menawarkan pengalaman belajar yang lebih menarik dan menyenangkan. Selain itu, teknologi augmented reality membantu memperkuat daya ingat peserta didik terhadap materi yang dipelajari dengan menyediakan pengalaman visual yang mendalam. Augmented reality juga berperan dalam menghubungkan teori dengan aplikasi praktis dalam kehidupan nyata sehingga memungkinkan peserta didik untuk memahami konsep-konsep teoritis secara lebih konkret. Kesimpulannya, penerapan augmented reality dalam pembelajaran sains tidak hanya mempermudah pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi yang sulit tetapi juga membawa inovasi penting dalam pendidikan di era digital, meskipun keberhasilannya memerlukan kesiapan guru dan dukungan infrastruktur teknologi yang memadai.

Abstract

In the era of modern education, the use of digital platforms can be designed to facilitate interactive learning and formative assessment. This study aims to examine the use of the wordwall platform in formative assessment to determine the level of learning outcomes in physics subjects. The scope of the study includes the application of digital-based formative assessment on the topic of measurement in class X. The study applies a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental approach using the Post-test Only Control Group design. The study population consisted of all 210 class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Selakau. The sample taken was 70 students consisting of two groups: 35 students from class XD as the control group and 35 students from class XE as the experimental group. The data were analyzed using parametric statistical tests to identify significant differences between the post-test results of the control group and the experimental group, which were assessed through multiple-choice questions. The results showed a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.00, which is smaller than 0.05, so there is a significant influence in the use of Wordwall media compared to Google Form. This finding identifies that Wordwall can be an effective formative assessment media in improving student learning outcomes, especially in physics subjects. Therefore, the use of Wordwall as a formative assessment media can be considered not only for physics subjects, but also for other subjects, in order to support a more interactive and efficient formative assessment process.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Calculator.oi application integration in improving students' mathematics learning outcomes in Elementary Schools. This study focused on fourth-grade students at SDN 22 Ketapang and used a quantitative approach with an experimental method. In this study, the experimental method was applied to compare the differences in students' learning outcomes before and after using the Calculator.oi application. Learning outcome data were collected and analyzed using the Wilcoxon test, after the normality test showed that the data were not normally distributed. The results showed a significant increase in students' mathematics learning outcomes after using the Calculator.oi application. Analysis of the differences between pre-test and post-test scores revealed that all students experienced significant progress in their understanding and achievement in mathematics. The significance value obtained from the statistical test was below 0.05, indicating that this application had a significant positive impact and was effective in improving students' learning outcomes. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the Calculator.oi application be integrated more widely into the mathematics learning process in Elementary Schools. The use of this application is considered an innovative and effective learning medium in supporting the understanding of mathematical concepts. Further research is recommended to involve a larger sample size and different class variations in order to obtain more comprehensive and representative results. In addition, exploration of students' perceptions regarding the use of this application as a learning tool is also important. This will provide a deeper understanding of how the Calculator.oi application can be accepted and utilized in a broader learning context.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of using interactive media in the form of "flashcards" on the process of memorizing the Al-Qur'an in early childhood at the Tahfidz Darul Quran Al Haramain Islamic Boarding School. The research method used was quantitative with a quasi-experiment approach involving two groups, namely the experimental group given flashcard media and the control group without this media. The research sample consisted of 40 young children who were divided randomly into each group. The results of the study showed that the use of flashcards had a significantly positive effect on the ability to memorize the Al-Qur'an in young children, as indicated by a higher increase in memorization scores in the experimental group compared to the control group. Flashcard interactive media makes it easier for children to remember verses using attractive visuals and effective repetition, thereby increasing motivation and focus in the memorization process. This research concludes that flashcard media can be an effective tool in supporting memorizing the Al-Qur'an in early childhood in the Islamic boarding school environment. The recommendation from this research is that tahfidz educational institutions consider using similar interactive media to improve learning outcomes in memorizing the Koran for children.
