Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh permainan balok terhadap kemampuan kemampuan STEAM (science technology  engineering art mathematics) anak usia 5-6 tahun. Sebuah penelitian kuantitatif mengukur faktor-faktor yang diteliti melalui eksperimen, desain dalam penelitian ini yaitu Pre-Test and Post-Test with Non-Equivalent Control-Group yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol memiliki 15 anak di kelasnya. Hasil kedua kelompok dalam penelitian menggunakan uji-t berpasangan, sebelum dan sesudah. Nilai yang dianalisis dalam tes uji-t berpasangan Signifikan 0,000 < 0,05 jadi memiliki pengaruh terhadap permainan balok kemampuan STEAM (science technology  engineering art mathematics) anak usia 5-6 tahun. Sebelum kontrol sebesar 58,00 dan setelah kontrol sebesar 75,93 menunjukkan perubahan 17,9 sedangkan sebelum eskperimen sebesar 60,67 dan setelah eksperimen sebesar 80,40 menunjukkan perubahan 19,8. Perubahan nilai kelompok kontrol lebih rendah dari kelompok eksperimen karena masing – masing kelompok berbeda perlakuan menggunakan balok dan tidak menggunakan balok. Dengan demikian, dapat membantu anak di sekolah maupun di rumah untuk memecahkan suatu masalah, berpikir logis, maupun simbolik.

Abstract

This curriculum emphasizes enjoyable and burden-free learning. Each learning process is expected to be differentiated to accommodate the diversity of students' interests and talents. In this study, the method used was literature research. The data collection technique involved searching for information related to the research focus through notes, books, scientific articles, and other relevant sources. The research instrument used by the researcher was a checklist of research materials based on the topics and focus of the study. This study’s findings are: 1) replacing the National Final Examination (USBN) with competency assessments for students. This assessment consists of written tests, portfolios, and group assignments such as essays; 2) eliminating the National Examination and replacing it with Minimum Competency Assessment and Character Survey developed by schools; 3) simplifying lesson plan; 4) more flexible zoning regulations for new student admission; 5) teaching assistance in educational units to provide work experience for students. In order to achieve the noble goals of the Merdeka Curriculum, support from all educational stakeholders, parents, and the community is needed. In addition, periodic training for teachers is necessary to improve readiness for implementing the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

Many teachers still exhibit suboptimal performance. The lack of human resources and issues related to insufficient facilities are also considered as factors hindering the improvement of teacher performance. Based on these issues, the objective of this research is to analyze the influence of professional competence and organizational climate on teacher performance in senior high schools. This study employs a quantitative method, emphasizing the collection of numerical data to be analyzed using statistical techniques. The population in this study consists of all teachers at a public high school, with a total of 46 teachers. The sample includes all teachers at the high school, also totaling 46 teachers, selected through the Total Sampling method. The data collection methods used include questionnaires and document studies. The research instrument comprises a structured closed-ended questionnaire and documentation guidelines. Data analysis techniques involve both descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the study reveal that professional competence has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, with a coefficient value of 0.479. This indicates that improvements in professional competence will positively impact teacher performance. In addition, the organizational climate also significantly influences teacher performance, with a coefficient value of 0.580. If both professional competence and the school’s organizational climate are enhanced and well-conditioned, they will have a positive effect on improving teacher performance, which in turn will contribute to the improvement of educational quality.

Abstract

The educational problem faced by the Indonesian nation is the low quality of graduates at every level of the education system. The low quality of graduates can be seen from the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) 2022 results, where Indonesia is ranked 69th out of 80 participating countries. This study aims to analyze the effect of academic supervision competence and infrastructure management on the quality of graduates, with the learning environment as a mediating variable. This study uses a quantitative method, with path analysis, to test exogenous variables' direct and indirect effects on endogenous variables. Sampling using non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. The sample taken consisted of 29 principals of public junior high schools. Data collection used a questionnaire instrument with a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used the t-test to test the direct effect and the Sobel test to test the indirect effect of the dependent variable with the independent variable. The study's results showed a significant positive direct effect of academic supervision competence on the quality of graduates. Infrastructure management had a significant positive direct effect on the quality of graduates. There was a significant positive direct effect of the learning environment on the quality of graduates. Academic supervision of graduate quality through the learning environment has an indirect and mediating effect. Management of facilities and infrastructure on graduate quality through the learning environment has an indirect and mediating effect. The implications of this study can be a consideration for principals to implement academic supervision and management of facilities and infrastructure based on the learning environment to improve graduate quality.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how well students understood dynamics principles when using the flipped classroom learning methodology. A pretest-posttest control group was included in the quasi-experimental design of the study. A total of 72 students were separated into two groups, namely the experimental group using the flipped classroom model and the control group with the conventional method. Questionnaires to gauge student impressions and two-tier multiple-choice examinations to gauge conceptual knowledge were the primary tools. According to the research findings, the experimental group's normalized gain value of 0.67 (high category) significantly outperformed the control group's 0.41 (medium category) in terms of conceptual comprehension. The two groups differed significantly (p 0.05) according to the independent t-test. These findings support the effectiveness of the flipped classroom in enhancing conceptual understanding, encouraging active student engagement, and aligning with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum. However, the success of implementing this model is also influenced by the readiness of teachers, students, and adequate technological infrastructure. For other areas of physics, similar models should be developed, and further mixed-methods research is needed to further explore students' experiences.

Abstract

The implementation of saving habits to form a disciplined attitude in children aged 4-5 years at TK PUTRA II Serang has been carried out well. Discipline is one of the important elements in the formation of children's character that can be developed through simple activities carried out routinely, such as saving habits. The purpose of this study was to describe how the implementation of saving habits can help form a disciplined attitude in children aged 4-5 years. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection methods through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the study were children aged 4-5 years in group A1 at TK PUTRA II Serang. The findings of the study revealed that 1. The savings strategy implemented at TK PUTRA II Serang is quite good, so that by saving it can form a disciplined attitude in children such as obeying the rules, being responsible, and appreciating every process, 2. The challenges of implementing saving habits to form a disciplined attitude are in children, 3. The solution to the challenges of implementing saving habits to form a disciplined attitude in children aged 4-5 years at TK PUTRA II Serang involves the active role of teachers and parents in providing motivation for children in this saving and discipline habit.

Abstract

The Role of Educational Psychology in Enhancing Learning and Instruction. This article explores the fundamental principles of educational psychology and its critical role in shaping effective learning environments. We examine core concepts such as student development, motivation, and effective learning strategies to highlight how an understanding of educational psychology can inform and improve pedagogical practices. Using a descriptive-analytical approach, this study finds that a solid grasp of educational psychology is essential for educators to design learning experiences that align with student characteristics. This ensures that educational goals are achieved optimally. This research contributes to the ongoing discussion on integrating psychological insights into educational frameworks to foster a more profound and successful learning process.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the relationship between mathematical intelligence and empathy in elementary school students. Mathematical intelligence, which is measured through students' ability to solve mathematical problems, has a significant impact on their social and emotional development, including empathy. Using a qualitative approach, this research involved students from several elementary schools in Indonesia, using mathematics test instruments and questionnaires to measure levels of empathy. The research results show that there is a positive relationship between mathematical intelligence and empathy, where students with higher mathematical abilities tend to have better levels of empathy. This research also discusses the implications of these findings for the education curriculum in elementary schools, as well as the importance of developing these two aspects simultaneously to create a more sensitive and intelligent generation.

Abstract

Penerapan sistem drilling di sekolah melalui metode hafalan terkadang memberikan tekanan yang berlebihan pada anak-anak, mengharapkan anak-anak menguasai keterampilan membaca, menulis, dan berhitung dengan cepat. Hal ini dapat membuat anak merasa terbatas dan kehilangan kebebasan dalam proses belajar. Sebaliknya, pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi memberikan nilai tinggi pada keberagaman kemampuan anak dan memberikan kebebasan kepada mereka dalam mengikuti proses belajar. Di tingkat Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD), pendekatan kurikulum merdeka dengan sistem merdeka bermain menjadi implementasi yang relevan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan mengumpulkan literatur terkait topik penelitian dari berbagai sumber seperti jurnal, konferensi, review, laporan, buku, dan lainnya yang bersifat informatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan beberapa temuan penting, yaitu: Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada PAUD memiliki tiga elemen kunci, yakni konten, proses, dan produk yang dikembangkan oleh pendidik. Ketiga elemen ini mendukung proses pembelajaran dengan cara pendidik menyesuaikan perangkat pembelajaran sesuai minat dan profil belajar anak. Konsep pembelajaran berdiferensiasi sesuai dengan karakteristik pembelajaran dalam kurikulum merdeka dan memiliki nilai modern. Fokusnya terletak pada pengembangan karakter individu dan orientasi pada anak sebagai pusat pembelajaran. Prinsip pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berusaha untuk memastikan fungsi optimal pendidik dalam memfasilitasi peserta didik sebelum, selama, dan setelah pembelajaran. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dapat diimplementasikan dengan baik pada PAUD, sesuai dengan konsep, karakteristik, dan prinsip pembelajaran yang sejalan dengan konsep kurikulum merdeka. Tantangannya, namun, adalah meningkatkan peran pendidik dan memastikan bahwa mereka memiliki kompetensi yang memadai. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dapat memberikan manfaat signifikan pada PAUD, khususnya dalam konteks kurikulum merdeka.

Abstract

Kualifikasi akademik guru PAUD memiliki pengaruh terhadap kemampuan guru dalam merancang perencanaan pembelajaran. Hal tersebut disebabkan karena kualifikasi akademik guru belum sesuai standar yang berlaku dan kurangnya pemahaman guru dalam merancang perencanaan pembelajaran di Kecamatan Tirtayasa. Tujuan yang akan dicapai melalui penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari kualifikasi akademik guru PAUD terhadap kemampuan dalam merancang perencanaan pembelajaran. Metodelogi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif ex post facto dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 30 orang guru PAUD di Kecamatan Tritayasa. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi regresi linear sederhana didapatkan nilai sebesar 0,009 dan nilai korelasi (R) sebesar 0,217 yang artinya H1 dierima dan H0 ditolak. Dengan kata lain terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan kualifikasi akademik guru PAUD terhadap kemampuan menyusun perencanaan pembelajaran sebesar 21,7%.
