Abstract

Academic supervision is one of the strategic efforts to improve the quality of learning in educational institutions. The purpose of this research is to examine the role of academic supervision in improving the quality of learning through guidance, monitoring, and evaluation of educators. The research method used is a literature review that analyzes various theories, concepts, and research findings related to academic supervision and learning. Research results show that academic supervision can play a significant role in developing teacher competencies, improving learning performance, and creating a conducive and innovative learning atmosphere. Effective supervision requires the active role of supervisors, systemic support from the school, and teacher involvement in the processes of reflection and self-development. In conclusion, academic supervision plays an important role in improving the quality of learning, especially in terms of planning, implementation, and evaluation of effective learning. Keywords: Academic supervision, quality of learning, teacher competency development, learning evaluation. ABSTRAK Supervisi akademik merupakan salah satu upaya strategis dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di institusi pendidikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji peran supervisi akademik dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran melalui pembinaan, pemantauan, dan evaluasi terhadap tenaga pendidik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kajian pustaka yang menganalisis berbagai teori, konsep, dan hasil penelitian yang berkaitan dengan supervisi akademik dan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi akademik dapat berperan secara signifikan dalam mengembangkan kompetensi guru, meningkatkan kinerja pembelajaran, serta menciptakan suasana belajar yang kondusif dan inovatif. Supervisi yang efektif memerlukan peran aktif supervisor, dukungan sistemik dari sekolah, serta keterlibatan guru dalam proses refleksi dan pengembangan diri. Kesimpulannya, supervisi akademik memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, terutama dalam hal perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran yang efektif. Kata Kunci: Supervisi akademik, kualitas pembelajaran, pengembangan kompetensi guru, evaluasi pembelajaran.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out about the implementation of academic supervision in schools, related to supervision principles, approaches, techniques, supervision models, instruments, stages of supervision and TIRTA model coaching techniques in academic supervision carried out by school principals for teachers. The method used is a literature review. sourced from books and journals as well as modules relevant to this research. This research provides a good contribution to the development of coaching model supervision that focuses on the context of academic supervision in schools. These findings can provide practical guidance for education practitioners, school principals, teachers and policy developers in improving the quality of learning in schools through innovative approaches, models and supervision techniques.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to see how teachers carry out supervision in elementary schools, which is an important tool for ensuring the quality of education. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach and literature study methods through content analysis. The data used in this research comes from books, scientific journals, and various print and online reading sources related to the research topic. Reading and note-taking methods were used to collect data, which was then analyzed descriptively-analytically by discussing concepts and presenting data systematically. Research shows that teacher supervision has a strategic role in improving the quality of learning and professionalism of elementary school teachers. Planning, implementation, evaluation, and structured follow-up are all necessary components for implementing effective supervision. Supervision not only functions as control but also helps teachers become better. This research identifies several key factors for successful supervision, including supervisor competence, open communication, a constructive approach, and commitment from all parties in the supervision process. In conclusion, the implementation of systematic and sustainable elementary teacher supervision is a vital component in the education quality assurance system, which ultimately contributes to improving the quality of learning and overall educational outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang perencanaan dalam manajemen pendidirian lembaga Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini. Hal ini melatarbelakangi pada pendirian lembaga PAUD yang masih terjadi dikarenakan beberapa hambatan dalam pendirian lembaga PAUD tidak maksimal. Oleh karena itu manajemen mendapatkan sebuah proses perencanaan, pengorganisasian, kepemimpinan dan pengendalian dalam proses pendirian lembaga PAUD. Metodologi penelitian ini adalah studi literatur. Metode ini sistem pengambilan data yang dikumpulkan berasal dari beberapa buku, jurna ataupun sumber lainnya. Teknik analisis data bersifat analisis isi. Hasil kajian penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dalam mendirian suau lembaga harus ada legalitas, ada beberapa persyaratan yang sudah ditetapkan oleh pemerintah, diantaranya yaitu syarat umum, prosedur atau mekanisme pendirian lembaga PAUD. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik, hal tersebut berdasarkan studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan peneliti. Salah satu upaya untuk mengatasi persoalan tersebut adalah dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe artikulasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe artikulasi terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas IV SD. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Serang 2 tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Teknik penarikan sampel yang digunakan ialah cluster sampling untuk memilih 2 kelas. Pada penelitian ini, kelas IV D sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IV C sebagai kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh hasil belajar peserta didik yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe artikulasi dengan peserta didik yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional, karena hasil belajar peserta didik yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe artikulasi berbeda dengan peserta didik yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dari hasil perhitungan dengan menggunakan Uji-t data normal dan homogen, yaitu: nilai thitung = 2,13 dengan dk = n1 – 1 atau dk = n2 -1 = 30 – 1 = 29, α = 0.05 didapatkan nilai ttabel = 1,699. Abstract

Akuntabilitas manajemen sekolah merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam memastikan kualitas pendidikan yang transparan dan berkelanjutan. Rapor pendidikan, sebagai alat evaluasi berbasis data, berperan penting dalam meningkatkan akuntabilitas tersebut dengan menyediakan informasi kinerja sekolah secara objektif dan terukur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran rapor pendidikan dalam meningkatkan akuntabilitas manajemen sekolah. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi literatur dan studi kasus, data dikumpulkan dari laporan rapor pendidikan dan wawancara dengan manajemen sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rapor pendidikan mampu memfasilitasi evaluasi kinerja yang lebih transparan, mengidentifikasi area yang memerlukan perbaikan, serta mendukung pengambilan keputusan berbasis bukti. Namun, implementasi yang optimal masih menghadapi tantangan seperti keterbatasan teknologi dan kurangnya pemahaman manajemen sekolah dalam menganalisis data. Oleh karena itu, dukungan berupa pelatihan dan peningkatan infrastruktur teknologi sangat diperlukan. Kesimpulannya, rapor pendidikan adalah instrumen yang efektif dalam meningkatkan akuntabilitas manajemen sekolah, namun membutuhkan dukungan dan pengembangan lebih lanjut untuk penggunaannya secara optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the role of physical education in developing social and emotional skills among elementary school students. Utilizing a qualitative approach, this research gathers data through literature review methods by analyzing relevant literature and previous studies. Social and emotional skills are essential aspects of child development that contribute to academic success and social competence. As an integral part of the elementary school curriculum, physical education provides opportunities for students to learn cooperation, communication, and emotion management through various physical activities and games. The results of the study indicate that physical education effectively enhances students' social skills, such as teamwork, communication, and tolerance, through team activities that require interaction and active participation. Additionally, physical education helps students manage their emotions, especially when facing wins and losses in games. These findings align with Vygotsky's social development theory, which emphasizes the importance of social interaction in child development, as well as Goleman's emotional intelligence theory, which highlights self-regulation and emotional management. The implications of this research demonstrate that physical education serves not only as a medium for physical skill training but also as an effective means to holistically develop students' social and emotional skills. Therefore, strengthening physical education in the elementary school curriculum is expected to help shape better character and personality in students. This study recommends that physical education be designed with a greater emphasis on developing students' social and emotional aspects to contribute to their overall development.

Abstract

Parental participation in children's education is a key factor influencing the quality of education in Indonesia. This study aims to explore the differences in parental involvement between urban schools and schools in disadvantaged areas and its impact on education quality. Using a qualitative research method through a literature review of various journal articles published between 2020 and 2024, this study found that parental participation in urban schools is generally higher than in disadvantaged areas. This is due to better access to information, educational resources, and facilities that support parental involvement. On the other hand, parents in disadvantaged areas face significant challenges, including economic limitations, low levels of education, and poor infrastructure, which hinder their ability to participate in their children's education. These findings suggest that improving the quality of education in disadvantaged areas requires interventions focusing on empowering parents and increasing access to educational information and facilities. This research is expected to provide insights for stakeholders in designing programs that support parental participation, thereby reducing educational inequality in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the influence of the principal's managerial system on the external quality assurance system (accreditation) at SDN Tembulun 2. Education quality assurance is a systematic and sustainable process that aims to improve the quality of education through the evaluation of various aspects of the school, such as curriculum, teaching, and student learning outcomes. The principal has an important role in the implementation of the managerial system which involves planning, organizing, supervising, and evaluating. This study uses a correlational survey method to identify the relationship between the managerial system and accreditation results. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and document studies from principals and related staff. The results show that a good managerial system significantly affects the aspects of school input, process, and output. Effective management helps schools in meeting the set accreditation standards, including in the management of human resources, teaching, and infrastructure. These findings emphasize the importance of the role of the principal as a manager in ensuring that the school can meet the external quality assurance criteria. In conclusion, the managerial ability of school principals directly contributes to the achievement of good accreditation, so it is necessary to increase the managerial competence of school principals in an effort to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

The study aims to describe the influence of pedagogic competence, work environment on teacher work behaviour with loyalty as mediation in SMPN Serang Regency Region I. The research used an explanatory method with a quantitative approach. The instrument used a closed questionnaire on 210 respondents using random sampling technique. The study used path analysis techniques to test the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable using lisrel. The results showed that: there is a significant positive direct effect of pedagogic competence on work behaviour with a path coefficient of 0.305, ρ value 0.00. The work environment on work behaviour has a significant positive direct effect with a coefficient of 0.50, ρ value 0.00. Loyalty to teacher work behaviour has a significant positive direct effect with a path coefficient of 0.107, ρ value 0.047. Simultaneously, it has a positive direct impact on work behaviour by 69.2%. Pedagogic competence on work behaviour through loyalty has an indirect effect but does not have a mediating effect, the sobel t value is 1.791. Similarly, the work environment on work behaviour through loyalty has an indirect effect but does not have a mediating effect with a sobel test value of 1.904.
