This study aims to find out the concept and implementation of assessment in the independent curriculum in Early Childhood Education. The research method used in this research is a type of qualitative research through literature study. The results and discussion of this study are that the assessment of the independent curriculum consists of two types, namely formative assessment and summative assessment. Formative assessment is carried out at the beginning of the activity and during the learning process. Formative assessment aims to monitor and improve the learning process, as well as evaluate the achievement of learning objectives. Summative assessment is conducted at the end of the learning activity. Formative assessment in the foundation phase can be conducted over one or two weeks. Learning assessment in Early Childhood Education refers to authentic assessment, which is an assessment that is in accordance with the actual situation. The implementation of assessment in Early Childhood Education uses four assessment techniques, namely checklist assessment, anecdotal notes, work assesment and serialized photos.

Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa konten materi yang dikembangkan dalam format visualisasi perangkat ajar berupa lembar kerja peserta didik digital berbasis aplikasi liveworksheets untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran serta memudahkan peserta didik dalam proses penyerapan materi. Peneliti menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE sebagai pedoman untuk mengembangkan suatu produk yang efektif. Prosedur penelitiannya adalah menganalisis kebutuhan peserta didik, merancang bahan ajar yang dibutuhkan, mengembangkan bahan ajar yang telah dirancang, mengimplementasikannya pada peserta didik serta mengevaluasi hasil implementasi bahan ajar. Hasil pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa E-LKPD pada aplikasi liveworksheets ini dapat meningkatkan motivasi peserta didik karena didalamnya disuguhkan tampilan menarik dengan gambar-gambar serta perpaduan warna yang nyaman dilihat. Pengaksesannya yang mudah, hanya memerlukan jaringan internet yang stabil dalam pengerjaannya. Bertambahnya pengetahuan pendidik mengenai pengembangan bahan ajar, meningkatnya efektivitas pembelajaran serta tumbuhnya motivasi dan minat pada peserta didik merupakan hasil yang didapatkan. Namun, pada kesempatan ini peneliti hanya berfokus pada pengembangan bahan ajar.

Media yang baik haruslah efektif dan efisien, efektif artinya media mampu mentransfer materi dengan cepat sehingga pemahaman siswa setelah melihat media meningkat dan efisien. Akan tetapi berdasarkan hasil observasi ditemukan permasalahan yaitu penggunaan media pembelajaran yang kurang bervariasi, media yang diterapkan dalam pembelajaran masih belum sesuai dengan materi yang disampaikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan suatu produk berupa video animasi yang dikembangkan melalui aplikasi Animaker untuk dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa sehingga hasil belajar siswa meningkat. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima fase atau tahap utama, yaitu (A)nalisys, (D)esain, (D)evelopment, (I)mplementation, dan (E)valuation. Hasil dari pengembangan media ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pembelajaran menggunakan video animasi mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa karena media pembelajaran video animasi berbasis Animaker menarik, interaktif dan mudah dipahami. Akan tetapi, pada kesempatan ini peneliti hanya berfokus pada pengembangan media pembelajaran video animasi berbais animaker pada mata pelajaran IPA Kelas V SD

Abstrak This study aims to describe teachers’ organizational behavior in improving the quality of learning in elementary schools. The research used a qualitative approach with a narrative inquiry design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and reflections on teachers’ real experiences in a supervisor’s assisted school. The results show that teachers’ organizational behavior characterized by collaboration, open communication, and professional commitment plays a vital role in creating a quality learning environment. Furthermore, values of togetherness, trust, and participatory leadership of the principal strengthen the organizational culture that supports quality learning. This study affirms that improving learning quality depends not only on curriculum innovation but also on healthy, learning-oriented organizational behavior.

This research aimed to explore the role of quality management in enhancing school competitiveness at SMAN 5 Serang City. The study focused on four key questions: (1) how does educational quality planning improve school competitiveness? (2) How does the implementation of educational quality enhance competitiveness? (3) How does the evaluation process of educational quality contribute to school competitiveness? And (4) what actions are taken during the evaluation process to improve competitiveness? This study used a descriptive qualitative research method with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations and field notes. Data analysis used narrative analysis from existing data sources. The findings revealed that (1) the planning process for improving educational quality included several strategic steps. (2) Implementation involved meeting targets set in the planning stage, though the school still needed to work on optimizing competitiveness and managing facilities effectively. (3) Educational quality evaluations were conducted through regular monitoring, focusing on the curriculum and human resource development. However, competitiveness and facilities management still need to be improved. (4) The school implemented in-house training and improved school information systems to address these challenges. The researcher recommends further studies on the role of quality management in school competitiveness, either in this location or in different settings. Future research could also focus on other topics in the exact location, such as at SMAN 5 Serang City.

The purpose of this study was to analyze and understand the fulfillment of school financial management facilities and infrastructure standards at SMP Negeri 17 Kota Serang. This research uses a qualitative approach with case studies. The informants in this study consisted of school principals, deputy director of facilities and infrastructure (wakasek), treasurers of Education Unit Operational Assistance (BOSP), and school committees. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data display and verification inference. Information accuracy is verified; credibility, transferability, reliability, and verifiability. The results of the study show that school financial management in meeting educational facilities and infrastructure standards for SMP Negeri 17 Serang City through planning and budgeting, administration and reporting and accountability according to Permendikbudristek 63 BOSP Juknis Year 2022. This study influences the importance of financial management to meet institutional and infrastructure standards education, because Stakeholders both internal and external can assess, analyze, monitor and fulfill various school needs.

Aspek perkembangan kognitif menjadi salah satu hal yang penting untuk dikembangkan, terutama dalam memperkenalkan bentuk geometri pada anak usia dini. Kurangnya pemahaman anak dalam mengenali bentuk geometri disebabkan karena media yang digunakan bersifat konvensional dan kurang menarik minat anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan game edukasi dengan menggunakan aplikasi Canva untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak usia dini. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE melalui tahapan Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan angket, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Validitas produk dievaluasi terhadap dua validator, yaitu ahli media dan ahli materi. Berdasarkan hasil validasi yang dilakukan oleh para ahli, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media game edukasi sangat layak atau sangat valid digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak terutama dalam mengenali bentuk geometri.
Development of Quizizz-based Interactive Learning Media and Assessment to Enhance Critical Thinking Skills in Avionic Training

Modern aircraft maintenance requires technicians to demonstrate higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) to diagnose and resolve complex avionic system failures. However, assessment practices in vocational avionic training often emphasize procedural recall rather than analytical and evaluative reasoning. This study addresses this gap by developing and evaluating Quizizz-based interactive learning media and HOTS-oriented assessments tailored to avionic training contexts. A research and development approach employing the ADDIE model was implemented using a pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design. The study involved 22 avionic trainees at the Lion Group Training Center, Tangerang. Data were collected through expert validation, trainee questionnaires, interviews, and pretest–posttest assessments. Statistical analyses included normality testing, paired-sample t-tests, and N-Gain analysis. Expert validation indicated high feasibility of the developed media, with acceptance rates of 83% from media experts and 88% from material experts, while trainee responses reached 86%. Descriptive statistics showed a substantial increase in posttest mean scores compared to pretest results. The paired-sample t-test revealed a statistically significant improvement in critical thinking skills (p 0.05). The N-Gain score (mean = 0.58) indicated a moderate-to-high level of learning improvement. The findings suggest that scenario-based, gamified assessments delivered through Quizizz effectively support the development of critical thinking skills in avionic training. This study highlights the potential of integrating HOTS-oriented digital assessments in vocational education while recommending further multi-site and longitudinal research to strengthen generalizability.

The rapid digital transformation in education demands interactive and contextual learning strategies. In economics education, concepts such as payment systems and tools are often abstract and disconnected from students’ real-life experiences. This study investigates the effectiveness of Genially-based web learning media in improving students’ conceptual understanding of these topics. A quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group was employed involving 36 tenth-grade students from SMAN 2 Krakatau Steel Cilegon. Students were randomly assigned to an experimental group (using Genially media) and a control group (conventional learning). Data were collected through concept tests, questionnaires, and interviews, and analyzed using paired and independent sample t-tests alongside descriptive qualitative analysis. The experimental group showed a significantly greater improvement in posttest scores (gain of 24.89 points) compared to the control group (gain of 14.17 points). Statistical analysis confirmed the difference was significant (p 0.05). Students reported high satisfaction with Genially’s visual appeal, ease of navigation, and relevance to real-world applications. Interview results indicated that the media helped students visualize and better retain abstract economic concepts. The findings demonstrate that Genially-based media effectively enhances conceptual understanding and learning engagement. Its multimedia features support cognitive processing and align with constructivist and multimedia learning theories. This suggests that integrating well-designed web-based tools can significantly improve economics education at the high school level.

Teachers’ pedagogical competence is a key determinant of instructional quality and student-centered learning. Academic supervision is widely recognized as a professional support mechanism to enhance teachers’ instructional practices; however, empirical evidence from localized secondary school contexts in Indonesia remains limited. This study examines the relationship between academic supervision and pedagogical competence among senior high school teachers in Cilegon City. A quantitative correlational design was employed involving 30 senior high school teachers selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using validated and reliable questionnaires measuring academic supervision and pedagogical competence. Pearson product–moment correlation analysis was conducted using SPSS after confirming the assumptions of normality and linearity. The findings reveal a strong and statistically significant positive relationship between academic supervision and teachers’ pedagogical competence (r = 0.836, p = 0.001), indicating that teachers who perceive supervision as structured and developmental tend to report higher levels of pedagogical competence. The results suggest that academic supervision plays an important role in supporting teachers’ pedagogical development, particularly when implemented systematically and reflectively. These findings align with the objectives of Kurikulum Merdeka and current national education policies emphasizing teacher professionalism and continuous improvement. Despite limitations related to sample size and self-reported data, this study provides contextualized evidence supporting the strengthening of academic supervision practices. Future research should employ longitudinal and mixed-method approaches to further explore the mechanisms through which supervision contributes to sustained pedagogical improvement.
