Abstract

Dalam sistem tenaga listrik yang melayani beban secara kontinyu sebaiknya tegangan dan frekuensi harustetap konstan, namun apabila terjadi gangguan pada salah satu pembangkit atau pada rel maka hal ini tidak dipungkiri akan terjadi gangguan pada penyaluran daya. Untuk itu perluh dilakukan Penelitian tentang Stabilitas Sistem Tenaga yang berkaitan dengan Penentuan Sudut Pemutus Kritis dan Waktu Pemutus Kritis pada generator, guna mengetahui berapa besar Sudut Pemutus Kritis dan berapa besar Waktu Pemutus Kritis. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan Metode Runge Kutta orde 4 dengan bantuan softwere Matlab.

Abstract

This paper the genetic algorithm method is used in Power System Stabilizer (PSS) for power system stability is discussed. Parameters of PSS on generator system in a state determined offline using genetic algorithms and the objective function is based on eigen value system was described in detail. PSS parameters and the location is calculated to maximize damping performance in different operating conditions. Genetic algorithm is a kind of random search algorithm based on the mechanism of natural selection and natural genetics. Genetic algorithms are used as search parameters of the PSS technique, which utilizes genetic operators to find the nearest optimal solution. An advantage of the search with the GA is not trapped in an early convergence

Abstract

Three-phase induction motors play a pivotal role in industry and there is a strong demand for their reliable and safe operation. They are generally reliable but eventually do wear out. Faults and failures of induction motor can lead to excessive downtimes and generate large losses in terms of maintenance and lost revenues, and this motivates the examination of on-line condition early detecting.  On-line condition early detecting involves taking measurements on a motor while it is operating in order to detect faults with the aim of reducing both unexpected failures and maintenance costs. Motor Current Signature Analysis (MCSA) method is a way to detection of condition monitoring technique used to early detection problems in rotor bar fault of three- phase induction motors. In this paper presented the experimental results of frequency spectrum Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) stator current on-line censorship a three-phase induction motor using LabVIEW algorithm for detecting of rotor conductors faults. The stator current FFT analyzed using Motor Current Signature Analysis (MCSA) method.

Abstract

Konsumsi energi listrik di Aceh semakin meningkat dari tahun ke tahun.Faktor yang menyebabkan meningkatnya konsumsi energi listrik di Aceh adalah Pertumbuhan Penduduk, dan Ekonomi. Untuk memenuhi akan kebutuhan konsumsi energi listrik yang semakin meningkat dari tahun ke tahun, maka dilakukan perkirakan konsumsi energi listrik jangka panjang selama 10 tahun yaitu pada tahun 2028 di Aceh. Untuk memperkirakan konsumsi energi listrik ini memerlukan sebuah metode yang dapat mendekati hasil aslinya.Metode tersebut yaitu Metode Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System. Hasil yang didapat dalam memperkirakan konsumsi energi listrik pada tahun 2028 di Aceh dengan menggunakan metode ini adalah sebesar 5578,02 GWh atau dengan kenaikan 2,07% setiap tahunnya sampai tahun 2028.

Abstract

In this final project, we describe the study of reconfiguring the distribution network at the LG-04 feeder at the Lancang Garam substation, Lhokseumawe, to improve the performance of the distribution system. The focus of the parameters considered includes continuity, voltage, and power loss. The reconfiguration is to change the initial network topology which is in the form of radial into a loop. After reconfiguration, the calculation of power flow, voltage drop, power loss, and short circuit calculation is also carried out which becomes a reference for whether or not the quality of the network is good. The results of the simulation of the existing conditions show that continuity is not good, after reconfiguration and fault testing, the network does not experience blackouts like the network before reconfiguration. The power loss generated in the network after reconfiguration is 0.507 kW or a decrease of ±84% from the previous form of the network.

Abstract

Evaluation of energy utilization and identification become energy saving opportunities, as well as recommendations for increasing efficiency, on energy use and use of energy sources in the context of energy conservation This paper aims to describe the audit of electrical energy in the Lido Graha Lhokseumawe Hotel room, by taking samples in different room types and conducting an electrical energy audit on the use of installed lights and air conditioners. The method used in this study is data collection, interviews, observations and direct measurements on the use of lights and AC (Air Conditioning). The data analysis technique used is to determine the estimated value of electricity consumption and how much it will cost for electricity. From the results of calculations and analysis obtained total electricity consumption needs based on the type of room with various types of loads used 855.62 kWh/days with costs that must be spent per day is Rp. 1,190,574.96, 25,668.6 kWh/month with a monthly cost of Rp. 35,087,608.60. Whereas for a year electricity demand is 308,494.8 kWh/year with a cost of Rp. 421,051,305.24.

Abstract

This study discusses about temperature monitoring system in the goat pen via smartphone. In addition to monitoring, temperature control is also needed to maintain temperature conditions in the goat pen. This system is useful so that goat cultivation produces well by getting a healthy temperature during its growing period. Manual monitoring is time-consuming, so a more practical monitoring application is required. This monitoring application is built using Internet of Things (IoT) technology so that it can be monitored remotely. The temperature data is taken from the DHT22 temperature sensor which is collected on a microcontroller which is then sent to the internet wirelessly. To control the temperature in the goat pen using an SSR relay. Based on the results of this study, the application of temperature monitoring in the goat pen via smartphone with the Internet of Things (IoT) is able to read the temperature value in the goat pen and can adjust the SSR to turn on and turn off the heating element remotely using a smartphone.

Abstract

This study aims to design a prototype of an automatic gate drive by utilizing a DC motor in order to be able to control the house gate automatically and be able to open the door or close the door by using an application on a Smartphone. The drive system uses a DC motor with a supply voltage given from a 12 V battery installed on the prototype turnstile. so that the DC motor can open and close properly it requires serrations on the gate according to the size of the teeth (gear). Besides that, the components are arranged in the Arduino uno circuit using the HC-05 Bluetooth module, Motor Driver l298n as a polarity reverser for the DC motor, the fence as a load, and the Bluetooth RC Controller application to be able to input so that the DC motor can move according to the commands given.

Abstract

Abstrak — Sejalan dengan perkembangan sosial ekonomi di kota Sebulussalam, maka kebutuhan akan energi listrik dari waktu ke waktu cendrung semakin meningkat. Hal ini semakin dirasakan dengan meningkatnya jumlah penduduk, pemukiman baru pertokoan, industri-industri, penerangan jalan, lampu hias di taman kota dan lain sebagainya. Seiring bertambahnya kebutuhan energi listrik setiap tahun sangat signifikan maka perlu membuat peramalan untuk mengatasi jumlah kebutuhan energi listrik yang semakin meningkat. Peramalan ini menggunakan metode regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan analisisi yang di lakukan penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa jumlah kebutuhan energi listrik di PT PLN (PERSERO) Kota Sebulussalam untuk tahun 2016 sampai dengan 2020 mengalami peningkatan yang cukup signifikan yaitu pada kisaran 3.470.887,446 Kwh untuk tahun 2020.Kata kunci: peramalan, regresi, kebutuhan energi listrikAbstract — Between the socio-economic development at the city of Sebulussalam, for electricity from time tends to increase. This is increasingly felt with the increasing number of residents, new residential shops, industries, street lighting, decorative lights in city parks and so on. As the need for electricity increases every year is very significant, it is necessary to make a forecast to overcome the increasing number of electrical energy needs. This forecasting uses multiple linear regression methods. Based on the analysis carried out this study concluded that the amount of electrical energy demand in PT PLN (PERSERO) Sebulussalam City for 2016 up to 2020 has increased significantly, namely in the range of 3,470,887,446 Kwh for 2020.Keywords: forecasting, regression, electrical energy requirements

Abstract

Abstrak — Kota Lhokseumawe dan Aceh Utara merupakan salah satu daerah di Aceh yang memiliki banyak nelayan, terutama nelayan-nelayan kecil. Para nelayan kecil menggunakan perahu dalam kegiatannya menangkap ikan ke tengah lait. Banyak dari perahu tersebut tidak dilengkapi dengan sarana penerangan yang layak. Sampai sejauh ini hanya sumber pangan seperti ikan dan hewan laut lainnya saja yang dimanfaatkan oleh nelayan. Padahal laut memiliki sumber energi yang sangat berlimpah untuk membantu kerja para nelayan tersebut. Salah satu sumber energi tersebut yaitu tenaga angin di laut masih sangat besar potensinya untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber energi listrik untuk penerangan perahu nelayan. Turbin angin menjadi pilihan untuk mengkonversi tenaga angin di laut menjadi sumber penerangan perahu nelayan karena mempunyai banyak keuntungan apabila diaplikasikan pada perahu kecil, antara lain mudah dibuat, mudah perawatan dan tidak perlu tiang yang tinggi. Generator yang digunakan merupakan modifikasi generator multi pole agar mampu bekerja pada putaran rendah sehingga mengurangi penggunaan transmisi yang berlebih. Sistem penyimpanan energinya dengan menggunakan batterai sehingga daya keluaran lebih stabil. Kontruksi sistem ini mudah dibuat, dirawat dan murah dan mampu menkonversi tenaga angin menjadi sumber energi listrik untuk penerangan perahu nelayan. Potensi pembangkitan energi listrik ini diharapkan mampu membantu nelayan untuk sistem penerangan perahu.Kata kunci :  Nelayan, Turbin Savonius, Angin, Perahu, dan Energi ListrikAbstract — The cities of Lhokseumawe and Aceh Utara are areas in Aceh that have a lot of fishermen, especially small fishermen. Small fishermen use boats in their activities to catch fish in the middle of the lait. Many of the boats are not equipped with proper lighting. So far, fishermen have only used food sources such as fish and other marine animals. Even though the sea has a very abundant source of energy to help the fishermen work. One of these energy sources, namely wind power in the sea, still has a very large potential to be used as a source of electrical energy for lighting fishing boats. Wind turbines are an option for converting wind power at sea into a source of lighting for fishing boats because they have many advantages when applied to small boats, including easy construction, easy maintenance and no need for high masts. The generator used is a modification of the multi pole generator to be able to work at low rotation thereby reducing the use of excessive transmission. The energy storage system uses batteries so that the output power is more stable. The construction of this system is easy to manufacture, maintenance and inexpensive and is able to convert wind power into a source of electrical energy for lighting fishing boats. The potential for generating electrical energy is expected to be able to help fishermen for the boat lighting system.Keywords :     Fisherman, Savonius Turbine, Wind, Boat and Electrical Energy
