Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is menstrual pain that causes discomfort and can interfere with daily activities, leading young women to resort to pain relievers. Pain relievers (pharmacological treatment) only provide temporary pain relief, and excessive use can cause side effects. Non-pharmacological treatments for dysmenorrhea include warm compresses and aromatherapy. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase the knowledge of young women regarding dysmenorrhea and how to handle it with warm compress techniques. The method used in this service starts from the preparation stage, socialization and implementation with the help of power points and leaflets as well as evaluation, carried out on November 5, 2025 to 10 young women, located in Selumit Village, Central Tarakan Beach. Based on the results of community service activities that have been carried out to young women, participants experienced an increase in their knowledge regarding dysmenorrhea and its handling with warm compress techniques. Suggestions that can be conveyed from this service activity are: It is necessary to conduct routine health counseling at the integrated health post for young women. Providing warm compress therapy and aromatherapy is very easy to do and practical so that young women who experience dysmenorrhea can do the technique even during the learning process in class, or anywhere without limiting their activities.   Abstrak Dismenore adalah nyeri menstruasi yang menimbulkan rasa tidak nyaman dan dapat mengganggu aktivitas sehari-hari sehingga menyebabkan remaja putri mengkonsumsi obat pereda nyeri. Abstract

Course scheduling in higher education institutions is a complex combinatorial optimization problem involving numerous constraints such as lecturer availability, room capacity, time slots, and course distribution across semesters. Manual scheduling practices often result in conflicts, inefficient resource utilization, and prolonged preparation time. This study proposes a hybrid course scheduling system that integrates a genetic algorithm (GA) and constraint programming using the CP-SAT solver from OR-Tools. The GA is employed in the first phase to generate optimal course sections based on student enrollment, lecturer workload, and capacity constraints. The best solution produced by the GA is then refined using CP-SAT to generate a conflict-free timetable that satisfies all hard constraints, including lecturer, room, and time conflicts, while also optimizing selected soft constraints. The proposed system is implemented as a web-based application deployed on Microsoft Azure, enabling scalability and accessibility. Experimental results using real academic data demonstrate that the hybrid approach successfully produces feasible schedules with zero conflicts and significantly reduces scheduling time compared to manual methods. The results confirm that the integration of GA and CP-SAT provides an effective and flexible solution for university course scheduling problems.

Abstract

Child protection institutions are the 'home' for every child's problems that should be protected by the state. Constitutionally, the strengthening of child protection is based on the Act on Child Protection in 2002. The problem in this research is how the initial process and dynamics faced by child protection institutions in Indonesia. This study aims to describe the birth and dynamics of child protection institutions in Indonesia (1997-2016). The method used is the historical method consisting of heuristics, source criticism, interpretation and historiography. The results of this study indicate that 1997 is considered a milestone for the birth of child protection institutions in Indonesia, namely the establishment of GNPA by Suharto. To fulfill legal legality, LPA was formed through the Ministry of Social Affairs. This institution changed its name to Komnas PA in 1999. Based on the 2002 Child Protection Act, the KPAI was formed. The name change of child protection institutions in Indonesia since 1997-2002 is one of the efforts to legalize child protection institutions. Various problems regarding children are one of the dynamics that characterize child protection institutions in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines spatiotemporal changes in mangrove cover and canopy density in Aceh Tamiang Regency, Indonesia, between 2020 and 2024, using an integrated remote sensing and field-based approach. High-resolution PlanetScope imagery (3 m) and Sentinel-2A data (10 m) were analyzed within a GIS framework, with the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) employed to classify mangrove density into three categories: dense (NDVI ≥ 0.43), moderate (0.33 ≤ NDVI < 0.43), and sparse (NDVI < 0.33). Results reveal a net loss of 379.65 hectares of mangrove cover—declining from 10,796.76 ha in 2020 to 10,417.11 ha in 2024—with over 99% of deforestation occurring in production forest zones, primarily due to conversion for aquaculture and oil palm plantations. Concurrently, dense mangrove areas decreased by 2,226 hectares (–18.9%), while sparse mangrove coverage expanded by 1,542 hectares (+28.1%), signaling ecosystem degradation despite localized natural regeneration. These structural changes undermine critical ecological functions, including coastal protection, blue carbon storage, and habitat provision for species such as Batagur borneoensis. The findings underscore the urgent need to integrate satellite-derived monitoring into district-level spatial planning, prioritize community-based rehabilitation in transitional zones, and strengthen enforcement of mangrove protection under Indonesia’s Government Regulation No. 27 of 2025 to ensure long-term coastal resilience.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of AI adoption, social value, informational value, and ease of use on customer experience and their effects on customer performance within the B2B sector in Indonesia. A quantitative methodology was utilized using a Likert-scale questionnaire administered to B2B companies implementing AI, and the data were examined using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS 22. The findings demonstrate that AI adoption, informative value, and usability positively influence consumer experience, whereas dependence obstacles exert a negative impact. Conversely, social value, enjoyment obstacles, and performance barriers exhibit no substantial impact. Moreover, customer experience significantly enhances customer performance. The findings indicate that in the B2B setting, companies emphasize the functional advantages of AI, like information quality and service convenience, over social value or perceived technological obstacles. This study suggests that the degree of AI integration, the quality of value experienced by consumers, and the firm's capacity to control reliance on technology partners are critical elements in optimizing the efficacy of AI in enhancing customer performance.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of TikTok advertising on repurchase intention by analyzing the mediating role of brand perception within the Stimulus–Organism–Response (S-O-R) framework. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 233 Indonesian TikTok users with prior purchasing experience and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Maximum Likelihood Estimation method. The findings show that content quality and engagement in TikTok advertising have a positive and significant effect on brand perception. However, these advertising attributes do not directly influence repurchase intention. Further analysis indicates that brand perception fully mediates the relationship between TikTok advertising and repurchase intention, suggesting that repeat purchase behavior is formed through consumers’ internal evaluation processes rather than direct advertising exposure. This study extends the application of the S-O-R framework to short video–based digital marketing and provides practical insights for firms seeking to strengthen long-term consumer retention through effective brand-building strategies.
