Abstract

This study examines the role of the Ahl Al-Sunnah Wa Al-Jama’ah (ASWAJA) concept in interreligious harmony based on the thoughts of KH. Hasyim Asy’ari, the founder of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU). Employing a qualitative approach with library research methods, the study analyzes KH. Hasyim Asy’ari’s seminal work (Risalah Ahl Al-Sunnah Wa Al-Jama’ah) and related literature. The findings reveal that ASWAJA operates as a theological-social framework through three mechanisms: (1) the authority structure of ulama (scholars) as guardians of moderation, (2) core values (tawassuth [moderation], tasamuh [tolerance], tawazun [balance]), and (3) Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) as laboratories of harmony. ASWAJA’s values such as social justice (al-‘adalah al-ijtima’iyyah), human brotherhood (al-ukhuwwah al-insaniyyah), and deliberation (al-syura) provide practical foundations for interfaith relations. The study concludes that KH. Hasyim Asy’ari’s thought offers a model of harmony rooted in Indonesian Islamic tradition, which remains relevant to contemporary multireligious societies.

Abstract

Penyutradaaran naskah drama Kebo Nyusu Gudel karya Dheny Jatmiko merupakan bentuk upaya penciptaan yang dilakukan oleh pengkarya dalam menyampaikan kritik yang ada pada naskah. Pertunjukan ini mengkritik kehidupan sosial masyarakat terkhususnya anak muda yang merasa lebih cerdas dari pemimpin negara sampai membuat kerusuhan. Naskah ini menghadirkan tokoh-tokoh yang memberikan pesan dan moral terhadap penonton dengan lewat sindiran-sindiran satir yang menyadarkan. Tokoh kakek yang menjadi gambaran pemimpin negara diharapkan mampu menyadarkan penonton akan perbuatan yang salah sebagai anak muda yang bermoral. Pengkarya memilih naskah ini dengan menggunakan metode teater epik dari Bertolt Brecht. Selain metode epik Brecht yang sutradara pakai, Suyatna Anirun selaku tokoh teater Indonesia juga menjadi acuan terhadap tahap-tahap penyutradaraan yang pengkarya lakukan. Suyatna anirun memiliki tahap-tahap dan proses pencarian yang telah dirangkum dengan sempurna untuk seorang sutradara dengan pencapaian pementasan di atas panngung.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of service and competence on the performance of commissioners of the Code of Ethics Enforcement Commission at Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. This research method is quantitative. Based on the research results and discussions regarding the influence of service and competence on the performance of commissioners of the Code of Ethics Enforcement Commission at Unismuh Makassar, it is concluded that service has a positive and significant effect on commissioner performance. This is proven by the hypothesis test: the calculated t-value for service is 4.408 > the table t-value of 0.166, with a sig. value of 0.004 < the significance level (0.05). Competence has a positive and significant effect on commissioner performance. This is proven by the hypothesis test: the calculated t-value for commissioners is 8.557 > the table t-value of 0.166, with a sig. value of 0.000 < the significance level (0.05).

Abstract

Purpose – This study investigates the influence of hybrid work culture, work-life balance, organizational support, and employee engagement on freelancer retention within the Upwork platform. Method – Using a quantitative approach with 210 respondents, data were analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling to explore relational dynamics among the key variables. Findings – Results indicate that hybrid work culture significantly enhances retention, particularly when mediated by strong organizational support and high levels of engagement. Work-life balance plays a moderating role, reinforcing the positive effects of flexible work models on freelancers’ long-term commitment. Practical implications – Theoretically, this study extends retention discourse into the gig economy, bridging management and labor sustainability frameworks. From a Shariah perspective, the findings emphasize equitable treatment, well-being, and dignity in employment practices, aligning with the objectives of maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah. Abstract

Unsur penyalahgunaan keadaan terdapat dalam perjanjian pinjam-meminjam  oleh rentenir yang menyebabkan cacat kehendak. Penyalahgunaan keadaan merupakan bentuk cacat kehendak baru di luar ketentuan Pasal 1321 KUHPerdata yang berkembang melalui yurisprudensi. Tidak ada aturan yang mengatur secara jelas mengenai rentenir, mengakibatkan  perbedaan pertimbangan putusan pengadilan pada perkara tersebut. Doktrin Misbruik Van Omstandigheden hadir dan memberikan dasar bagi pengadilan untuk membatalkan perjanjian yang melibatkan penyalahgunaan keadaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  mengetahui penerapan penyalahgunaan keadaan sebagai alasan pembatalan perjanjian pinjam meminjam oleh rentenir, pertimbangan hakim dan akibat hukum terhadap perjanjian tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan yuridis normatif. Data yang digunakan dari 3 jenis sumber data yaitu, data primer, sekunder dan tersier. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui library research dan dianalisis dalam 4 (empat) tahap kegiatan, yaitu tahap pengumpulan data, tahap reduksi data, tahap penyajian data, dan tahap penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Penentuan bunga dalam perjanjian rentenir tidak dilarang, tetapi harus memperhatikan asas keadilan dalam Pasal 1320 KUHPerdata. Jika bunga yang ditetapkan tidak wajar, rentenir dapat dianggap menyalahgunakan keadaan sesuai dengan Yurisprudensi MA RI No. 3666K/PDT/1992. Perbedaan penafsiran hakim terhadap doktrin misbruik van omstandigheden terjadi karena pemahaman yang tidak seragam sebagian melihatnya sebagai pelanggaran asas keadilan, sementara lainnya menganggapnya sebagai bentuk cacat kehendak yang berkembang melalui yurisprudensi. Penyalahgunaan keadaan dikategorikan sebagai syarat subjektif sahnya perjanjian, sehingga perjanjian pinjam meminjam yang mengandung unsur ini dapat dibatalkan oleh pengadilan. Saran yang dapat diberikan adalah perjelas batasan bunga yang dianggap tidak wajar dan standarisasi penafsiran hakim terhadap misbruik van omstandigheden agar kepastian hukum lebih terjamin.

Abstract

In the context of science learning, the application of a contextual approach becomes increasingly relevant when learning themes are integrated with public health issues, one of which is Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM), which has become a serious concern in recent years both nationally and globally. This study aims to develop and test the effectiveness of case study-based educational media on Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in science learning at SMA Negeri 1 Luwuk, Banggai Regency, Central Sulawesi. The media was designed using a contextual learning approach (Contextual Teaching and Learning/CTL) and packaged in the form of interactive visual narratives relevant to the lives of adolescents. The study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with grade XI students as subjects and involved the principal and science teachers as supporting data sources. The instruments used included validation sheets, pretest–posttest questions, and interview and observation guidelines. The validation results showed the media was categorized as very feasible. Limited trials showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes, with a gain value of 0.57 (medium–high category). In addition, students showed emotional involvement and increased awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle. Teachers and the principal responded positively to the media's usefulness in supporting active and meaningful learning.

Abstract

Teknik Batik Ikat Celup ini merupakan sebagian dari teknik dalam pembuatan batik. Teknik ikat ini yang paling mudah dilakukan dan dikembangkan, walau teknik ini mudah dan bisa dikembangkan belum banyak masyarakat ataupun pengrajin batik yang banyak melakukannya dan mengetahuinya. Selama ini kegiatan siswa/i secara rutin mengadakan aktifitas dengan diisi keterampilan dan penambahan pengetahuan yang bisa menunjang kemampuan sumber daya manusia sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran. Pemberian pelatihan teknik ikat celup merupakan salah satu sarana keahlian yang bisa diberikan supaya siswa/i bisa menggali salah satu khasanah teknik batik di Nusantara. Kegiatan pembuatan motif batik dengan teknik ikat diikuti oleh 50 siswa/i kelas XII di SMAN 7 Luwu Utara menghasilkan motif batik dari Teknik ikat celup.

Abstract

This study analyzes the level of public trust in banking services by comparing the perceptions of conventional bank customers and Islamic bank customers in Makassar City. The study uses a cross-sectional survey design involving 400 respondents selected through stratified purposive sampling so that the data obtained can represent community groups based on the type of bank used. The results show that, in general, both types of banks received relatively high trust scores, indicating that the people of Makassar City have a positive view of banking services. However, there are differences in the dominant factors that influence customer trust levels in each type of bank. In conventional banks, the main factors are consistent service quality and good institutional reputation. This shows that the image of professionalism, credibility, and excellent service are key to maintaining customer trust in conventional banks. Conversely, in Islamic banks, customer trust is more determined by compliance with sharia principles, followed by service quality. This means that the dimensions of religiosity and Islamic legal compliance values are crucial aspects that cannot be ignored by Islamic banks in managing their relationships with customers.

Abstract

The development of digital technology and economic growth has encouraged the increasinginterest of Indonesian people in investment, especially through online-based mutual funds.Mutual funds are attractive investment instruments because they are managed by professionalinvestment managers, offer portfolio diversification, and have high accessibility. Nevertheless,this investment still carries risks, both from market fluctuations and potential abuse of authorityby the manager, such as manipulation of financial statements. Therefore, legal protection forinvestors is an important aspect to create certainty and security in investing. This research aimsto analyze the forms of legal protection available to mutual fund investors based on Indonesianlaws and regulations, as well as identify legal remedies that can be taken in the event of lossesdue to negligence or fraud by investment managers. Through normative studies, it is found thatalthough there are regulations governing investor protection, such as Law Number 8 of 1995concerning Capital Markets, there is still a need to strengthen supervision and assertiveness insanctioning to increase the effectiveness of such protection. This study emphasizes theimportance of strengthening regulations and public education to encourage the growth ofhealthy, fair, and sustainable mutual fund investment in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstrak   Tulisan ini membahas tentang fenomena living qur'an atas adegan ruqyah dalam film Roh Fasik yang diproduksi oleh RA Pictures pada tahun 2019. Adegan ruqyah dalam film Roh Fasik memiliki keunikan tersendiri dibanding film-film yang lain, yakni dimana seorang ustadz melantunkan ayat suci al-Qur’an dengan irama yang sangat merdu. Untuk mengetahui apa dasar penggunaan ayat ayat al-Qur’an dilantunkan dan mengapa ayat tersebut digunakan, peneliti menggunakan teori resepsi estetis dan fungsional yang diperkenalkan oleh Ahmad Rafiq. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) Resepsi estetis terlihat pada saat proses ruqyah, ustadz Hasan dan Kemal melantunkan ayat suci al-Qur'an dengan irama Bayyati pada Surah al-Baqarah/2: 148, irama Nahawand pada Surah al-Baqarah/2: 255, irama Bayyati Kurdi pada Surah al-A'raf/7: 117-122, irama Rost pada Surah al-Ikhlas dan al-Falaq. Tujuannya sebagai media yang efektif bagi pasien untuk cepat bereaksi. 2) Resepsi fungsional pada aspek informatif berisi tentang keagungan Allah dan potensi manusia yang dapat menghadapi jin. Sedangkan resepsi fungsional pada aspek performatif, yaitu jin yang ada di dalam tubuh manusia tidak dapat bersembunyi dan melakukan tipu daya, serta jin tersebut dapat dikeluarkan dari tubuh manusia.   Kata kunci: Film Roh Fasik; Living Qur’an; Ruqyah; Resepsi   Abstract   This paper discusses the living qur'an phenomenon of the ruqyah scene in the film Roh Fasik produced by RA Pictures in 2019. The ruqyah scene in the film Roh Fasik has its own uniqueness compared to other films, namely where an ustadz recites the holy verse al- Qur'an with a very melodious rhythm. To find out what is the basis for using the verses of the Qur'an and why they are used, the researcher uses the aesthetic and functional reception theory introduced by Ahmad Rafiq. The results of this study are: 1) Aesthetic reception is seen during the ruqyah process, ustadz Hasan and Kemal recite the holy verses of the Qur'an with the Bayyati rhythm in Surah al-Baqarah/2: 148, the Nahawand rhythm in Surah al-Baqarah/2: 255, Bayyati Kurdish rhythm in Surah al-A'raf/7: 117-122, Rost rhythm in Surah al-Ikhlas and al-Falaq. The goal is as an effective medium for patients to react quickly; 2) Functional reception on the informative aspect contains the majesty of Allah and the potential of humans who can face the jinn. While the functional reception is in the performative aspect, namely the jinn in the human body cannot hide and commit deceit, and the jinn can be removed from the human body.   Keyword: Film Roh Fasik; Living Qur’an; Ruqyah; Reception
