Abstract

The Oro-oro Ombo Pioneer Tourism Village in Batu City, East Java, has significant potential for development as a tourist destination. This study provides clear recommendations for prioritizing alternatives in developing the tourism Village. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is used to identify the factors influencing the development of the tourism village and determine the priority development strategies. This research involves ten respondents representing the Penta helix group: Academics, Business, Community, Government, and Media. Based on the highest and lowest AHP weight values, the research results indicate that local community participation and tourist satisfaction are the key factors. Simultaneously, the results show that the waterfall destination is the main priority alternative (29.9%), followed by the Apple Garden (25.5%), Camping Ground (23.3%), and Flower Garden (21.3%). The study concludes that local community participation is the highest criterion. At the same time, the waterfall destination is the preferred development choice for the Oro-oro Ombo Pioneer Tourism Village in Batu City, East Java. Sustainable development can be achieved by involving the community in decision-making, ensuring environmental conservation, and offering eco-friendly services. Therefore, the policy implication is that local governments should prioritize community engagement, allocate resources for sustainable infrastructure, and support responsible tourism practices.

Abstract

Abstract

Background: Reflux is frequently associated with laryngomalacia, a common upper airway disorder in children that affects 4%–20% of patients. Damage from reflux weakens the supraglottic tissues, obstructing the airway and preventing growth. Methods: Following PRISMA 2020 guidelines, this systematic review concentrated on full-text English literature published between 2014 and 2024. Editorials and review articles that appeared in the same journal as the submission were not accepted without a DOI. The literature was assembled using a variety of online resources, including ScienceDirect, PubMed, and SagePub. Result: Following a rigorous three-stage screening procedure, six papers were found to have relevant links to our current extensive investigation. After that, the entire text was carefully examined, and these particular sections got extra focus. Conclusion: Studies have shown that laryngomalacia, a condition characterized by acid reflux, has a significant role in the condition, with pepsin serving as a comorbidity. However, the efficacy of acid-targeting medications remains unclear.

Abstract

Background: Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is a prostate condition causing bladder obstruction, kidney damage, and obstructive nephropathy. Treatment options include medication, surgery, and lifestyle changes. Holmium laser enucleation (HoLEP) is a desirable substitute. Methods: Holmium and BPH are related terms in the study of holmium laser enucleation, with the search conducted using MeSH terms. The results were screened by two reviewers, with a third reviewer consulted if consensus was not reached. The study aimed to understand the relationship between holmium and BPH, focusing on the use of holmium in prostate cancer treatment. Result: BPH patients undergoing HoLEP and TURP prostate treatment showed similar outcomes, including shorter hospital stay, reduced operative time, and improved postoperative IPSS, but no significant difference was observed. Conclusion: HoLEP is a surgical technique that has demonstrated potential benefits over Transurethral Resection of the Prostate (TURP). It may be better for incidental prostate cancer detection due to better hemostatic control and fewer side effects, and it may also shorten hospital stays and operating times. Additionally, it may improve the International Prostate Symptom Score and postoperative post-residual volume.

Abstract

The primary objective of this study is to examine the relationship between zakat and financial distress within the context of Islamic banking. The research methodology employed in this study involves employing linear regression analysis based on data extracted from the annual reports of Islamic banks in Indonesia spanning the years 2015 to 2019. The findings indicate that zakat constitutes a significant variable capable of mitigating the financial distress experienced by Islamic banking institutions in Indonesia. The findings of this study offer valuable practical and empirical insights. On the empirical front, this research provides evidence that supports the reliability and effectiveness of the Springate Model in predicting financial distress. By demonstrating the model's robustness, this study contributes to the empirical literature in the field. On the practical side, the study offers practical considerations and implications for bankers and financial professionals. Specifically, it highlights the significance of monitoring and analyzing key financial ratios as a proactive measure to anticipate and address potential financial threats within their respective firms. These practical insights can inform decision-making processes and help banking professionals take appropriate actions to safeguard their institutions against financial distress.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return on Equity (ROE). and Return on Assets (ROA) on the stock price of PT Sawit Sinar Sumbermas Sarana between 2019 to 2023.Using a quantitative approach and secondary data from the company’s financial reports, linear regression analysis was utilized to ascertain the relationship between these attributes and stock prices. The findings show that stock prices are highly impacted by ROA, ROE, and DER. ROA has a negative relationship with stock prices, meaning that the higher the ROA, the lower the stock price, which suggests potential inefficiency in asset utilization. On the other hand, ROE and DER have a positive relationship with stock prices, reflecting strong internal management, increasing investor confidence, and driving higher stock prices.
