Abstract

The Performance Accountability Value of Government Agencies in the Magelang Regency Government can be improved through programs that support the achievement of strategic objectives, namely by increasing government performance accountability through financial statement opinions. In government agencies, financial reporting is a manifestation of performance accountability because financial statements are one of the government's responsibilities to the people for resource management and policy implementation. The Regional Apparatus Organizations of Magelang Regency were the object of research using purposive sampling techniques. The sample qualifications were employees with a minimum of one year of service and who performed accounting or financial administration functions. The test tool used was Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares. The results of the study reveal that the competence of Human Resources, Local Government Accounting Systems, and Internal Control Systems do not have an impact on the quality of financial reports. Even so, the quality of financial reports still contributes to improving performance accountability, but does not act as a mediator between the human resource competencies, SAPD, SPI and performance accountability. The implications of this research are to encourage the implementation of optimized quality financial reports and work accountability in local government

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of an educational and mentoring program on Sharia business contracts for micro-entrepreneurs in enhancing Islamic economic law literacy and improving their adaptability to digital contracts in the era of economic transformation. The program was motivated by the limited understanding of Sharia contract principles among micro-entrepreneurs and the weak legal aspects in drafting business agreements. The implementation method consisted of three stages: participants’ needs analysis, conceptual education on Sharia contract law, and practical mentoring in drafting and applying digital Sharia-based contracts. Evaluation was conducted through pre-tests and post-tests, contract portfolio analysis, and participatory observation. The results indicate a significant improvement in participants’ understanding, from 54% to 96%, and a 65% increase in their ability to draft Sharia business contracts. Furthermore, 80% of participants successfully produced electronic contract drafts using murabahah and musyarakah schemes consistent with Sharia principles and the provisions of Law No. 11 of 2008 on Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE Law). These findings demonstrate that an educational and participatory approach effectively fosters legal awareness, business ethics, and technological readiness among micro-entrepreneurs. Conceptually, the program strengthens the integration between Sharia values and business digitalization, establishing a foundation for a just, transparent, and sustainable micro-enterprise ecosystem.

Abstract

This study examines at the sociolinguistic phenomena of code-switching among English-Buginese bilingual university students, with a focus on how it helps them negotiate their identities in academic and social settings. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected from simulated but contextually authentic interactions such as classroom discussions, peer conversations, and semi-structured interviews. Based on Gumperz's (1982) interactional sociolinguistics and Myers-Scotton's (1993) markedness model, the analysis identified three types of code-switching: inter-sentential, intra-sentential, and tag-switching. The findings show that in academic settings, English is frequently employed to communicate formality, academic authority, and alignment with global academic discourse, whereas Buginese is utilized to maintain solidarity, cultural identity, and shared heritage. In social situations, code-switching promotes humor, emotional expression, and pragmatic efficiency. Switching can be triggered by topic switches, lexical gaps, emphasis, or audience adjustment. The findings show that code-switching is not just a linguistic alternation, but also a conscious communicative resource for identity formation. These findings help to better understand bilingual language behaviors in multilingual societies and have implications for bilingual education and language policy in Indonesia.

Abstract

Chronic diseases are major health problems often accompanied by persistent pain that can reduce patients’ quality of life. Pain management is not only dependent on medical therapy but is also influenced by the role of the family as the primary support system. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between family role and pain management among patients with chronic illness. This study used a quantitative, cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 35 respondents selected using total sampling in Boyolangu Village, Tulungagung Regency. Data were collected using a family role questionnaire, and pain level was measured using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). The study was conducted in January 2026. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate analysis with the Spearman Rank test. The results showed that most respondents had a good family role (57.1%). The majority of respondents (48.6%) experienced moderate pain. Bivariate analysis indicated a significant relationship between family role and pain level (p = 0.002; p < 0.05). The correlation coefficient (r = -0.45) showed a moderate negative relationship, meaning that better family role was associated with lower pain levels. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between family role and pain management among patients with chronic illness; therefore, healthcare providers are encouraged to enhance family involvement in pain management to improve patients’ quality of life.
