Abstract

The integration of axiology, the philosophical study of values, within the framework of Islamic educational management is a critical exploration that seeks to align educational practices with the ethical principles inherent in Islamic philosophy. This paper delves into the significance of axiology in shaping the values, ethics, and moral foundation of educational management within an Islamic context. It explores the interplay between philosophical principles and the practical aspects of managing educational institutions in accordance with Islamic teachings. The study begins by elucidating the fundamental axiological tenets in Islamic philosophy, highlighting the centrality of values such as justice, compassion, integrity, and ethical conduct. It then examines how these values can be effectively incorporated into the managerial aspects of educational institutions, including curriculum development, leadership styles, and decision-making processes.Furthermore, the paper explores the challenges and opportunities that arise when applying axiological considerations to educational management within an Islamic framework. It investigates the potential conflicts with modern educational paradigms and the necessity of reconciling traditional Islamic values with contemporary pedagogical approaches. In conclusion, this research contributes to the ongoing discourse on the philosophy of Islamic educational management by emphasizing the importance of axiology in shaping an ethical and value-driven educational system. By synthesizing philosophical principles with practical management strategies, educators and administrators can foster an environment that not only imparts knowledge but also instills the core values integral to Islamic teachings. This approach aims to cultivate morally upright individuals who contribute positively to society while upholding the principles of Islamic philosophy in the realm of education.

Abstract

This community service program was carried out in response to the increasing demands of professionalism in the hospitality industry, where frontliner appearance significantly affects guest impressions. Grooming is not only about physical appearance but also represents work ethics and service standards. The program took place at Planet Holiday Hotel Batam and involved five front office staff and 20 first-semester students from Batam Tourism Polytechnic. This activity aimed to improve frontliner grooming based on hotel industry standards. Each academic contributed to different roles such as proposal preparation, coordination with the hotel, training delivery, and discussion facilitation. The outcomes indicated a significant increase in participants' understanding, as shown in pre-test and post-test results. Hotel staff reported better awareness of grooming practices, while students expressed increased motivation and comprehension through hands-on learning. The session also promoted meaningful dialogue between academia and industry. Participants were highly enthusiastic, and the training environment was supportive and interactive. This success demonstrates the effectiveness of community service programs in bridging education and industry needs. Moreover, it opens up opportunities for future collaborations, such as structured internships or continuous professional training. The result of this program underscores the importance of experiential learning and cross-sectoral partnerships in preparing competent and industry-ready human resources. In conclusion, practical and collaborative models of community service like this provide a sustainable approach to workforce development and quality service improvement in hospitality.

Abstract

A B S T R A C T This study aims to analyze the influence of career development and work experience on employee work productivity. The research is quantitative with an explanatory research approach. The study population was all employees of the company and a sample of 100 respondents was determined using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 5%. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale. The independent variables consist of Work Experience (X1) and Career Development (X2), while the dependent variable is work productivity (Y). Data analysis used multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software version 27. The results of the validity test show all valid statement items. The reliability test resulted in a Cronbach's Alpha value of > 0.70 so it was reliable. The normality test with Kolmogorov-Smirnov showed normally distributed data on all three variables (Asymp. Sig. > 0.05). A partial t-test showed that work experience had a significant effect on work productivity and career development with an Adjusted R Square value of 0.260 or 26%, meaning that 26% of the variation in work productivity could be explained by work experience and career development, while the remaining 74% were influenced by other variables outside the model. The conclusion of this study is that both work experience and career development partially have a positive and significant effect on employee work productivity. The breadth of the employee's work experience and the better, the career development program (promotion, training, job rotation), the higher the level of work productivity that can be achieved. Therefore, companies are advised to continue to improve structured and equitable career development programs and utilize experienced employees as mentors or coaches for junior employees to support continuous productivity improvement.

Abstract

Asset forfeiture in money laundering serves as a key tool to disrupt the economic benefits of crime and restore state losses, yet its implementation faces challenges in protecting bona fide third parties. The lack of clear and consistent standards for assessing good faith leads judges to decide case by case, creating legal uncertainty and potential injustice. Normative gaps, including disharmony regarding non-conviction-based forfeiture, exacerbate these ambiguities. This study employs a normative juridical method combining statute, case, and conceptual approaches. The statute approach examines the TPPU Law and the Corruption Eradication Law on asset forfeiture and third-party protection; the case approach analyzes judicial practice, including Decision No. 362/Pid.Sus/2025/PN Jkt.Sel, to assess judges’ interpretation of good faith; the conceptual approach reviews doctrines, principles, and theories on asset forfeiture, property rights, and third-party protection. Findings show that judicial standards remain inconsistent, leaving third-party protection case-specific and legally uncertain. The study highlights the gap between normative frameworks and practice and underscores the urgent need for clearer, proportional standards for proving good faith in the anti-money laundering regime.
