Abstract

Abstract

Strengthening the quality of learning at the junior high school level is an important priority in improving educational quality, particularly in rural areas. SMP Negeri Gampong Blang Crok in Nisam District is one of the schools facing challenges such as limited teacher competence in the use of digital learning media, active learning approaches, planning instructional tools aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum, and a lack of variation in teaching methods. This community service program aims to enhance teachers’ pedagogical and professional competencies, enrich instructional strategies, strengthen classroom management, and encourage student learning participation. The program employed participatory approaches, capacity building, lesson study, and performance-based evaluation. The results indicate a significant improvement in teachers’ ability to design differentiated learning, utilize ICT-based media (Canva, PowerPoint, educational videos), and increase student engagement in the learning process. This article presents a comprehensive overview of the program’s planning, implementation, outcomes, and recommendations for sustainable development.

Abstract

Abstract

Students’ interest in stock investment has increased alongside the growth of financial technology and easier access to capital markets. However, this interest is not fully supported by adequate understanding of investment risks and risk management strategies. This community service program aimed to improve Business Administration students’ understanding of stock investment and risk management as a basis for rational investment decision-making. The program was implemented through preparation, educational activities, and evaluation using an educative and participatory approach. The results show that although students initially had limited knowledge of investment risks, their understanding and perception of risk improved after the program. This activity contributes positively to enhancing students’ financial literacy in higher education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which the village government's administrative service system in Kota Sigli District, Pidie Regency, meets community needs. Quality administrative services are a key indicator in assessing the effectiveness of government administration at the lowest level, therefore, a study is needed to examine how services are implemented, the obstacles that arise, and possible improvements. This study used a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, using field research and literature review to obtain relevant data. The results indicate that administrative services in several villages are not yet optimal. The main obstacles identified include low levels of education and skills among village officials, a lack of understanding of administrative tasks, and limited facilities and infrastructure such as computers, stationery, and other supporting facilities. This situation impacts the slow service process and the failure to meet community service standards. Improvements can be made through increasing the capacity of village officials by considering educational qualifications in the selection process, providing administrative training, and providing adequate work facilities. Furthermore, the optimal utilization of village head offices needs to be strengthened so that administrative services can be more effective, focused, and sustainable, supporting better village governance. Abstract

The purpose of this phenomenological qualitative study is to explore the subjective meanings and experiences of actors in regional financial management during the implementation of the Regional Government Information System (SIPD) of the Surakarta City Government. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document studies with six informants. Data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing were some of the analytical methods used. The study findings show that, although some informants had different opinions about how well financial management was functioning, SIPD was generally considered effective in improving transparency and accountability. This mechanism is very important for integrating planning and reporting. There are still technical obstacles, such as server disruptions. Tiered assistance and Technical Guidance (BIMTEK) were used to strengthen the implementation method. Synergy between SIPD and human resource skills is essential to improve efficiency. Stakeholders expect future SIPD development to be more robust, comprehensive, and supportive of overall digital change.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the strategic role of the Islamic kingdoms of the early 13th–17th centuries in shaping the foundations of the economy, power, and civilization of the Indonesian archipelago, which has not been fully studied through a historical education approach. This research aims to analyze the relationship between the foundations of Islamic economics and the dynamics of the ebb and flow of power of the Samudera Pasai, Malacca, and Aceh Darussalam Kingdoms and their relevance for the development of history learning. The method used is qualitative research with a descriptive-analytical character through a historical approach and history education, using secondary data sourced from historical chronicles, legal manuscripts, traveler's notes, as well as scientific literature and reputable journals. The research findings show that an Islamic economy based on international trade, port governance, currency, the Baitul Mal (the Islamic treasury), and religious legitimacy formed the primary basis for the formation and strengthening of the power of these three kingdoms. Samudera Pasai emerged as a pioneer of Islamic economics and education, Malacca as the center of maritime hegemony and Islamic law, while Aceh Darussalam developed as a political, economic, and intellectual power oriented toward colonial resistance. The research findings confirm that the decline of these kingdoms was influenced by internal conflict and global geopolitical pressures. The implications of this research enrich the historiography of Islam in the Indonesian archipelago while providing a practical contribution to history education through the development of contextual, critical teaching materials that are rich in economic values, power, and Islamic-national identity.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Local Own Source Revenue , Capital Expenditure , Dependency Level, and Fiscal Balance Funds on Local Government Financial Performance, with Financial Health as a moderator variable . The research was conducted on regency and municipal governments in Central Java Province using Local Government Financial Statements for the 2022–2024 period . A quantitative approach with a causal research design was employed . The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, in which all regency and municipal governments in Central Java Province were included as research Samples . Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and moderated regression analysis , preceded by classical assumption tests to ensure the validity of the regression model. The results indicate that Local Own Source Revenue has a positive and significant effect on Local Government Financial Performance, while Capital Expenditure does not have a significant effect . The Dependency Level has a negative effect on Local Government Financial Performance, indicating that higher dependence on central government transfers tends to reduce financial Fiscal performance Balance Funds are found to have a significant effect on Local Government Financial Performance, reflecting their important role in supporting regional fiscal capacity . Furthermore , the moderated regression analysis shows that Financial Health does not moderate the relationship between Local Own Source Revenue , Capital Expenditure , Dependency Level, and Fiscal Balance Funds on Local Government Financial Performance. These findings suggest that improvements in local government financial performance is not solely determined by financial health conditions , but are also influenced by the effectiveness of revenue management and fiscal policy implementation at the regional level. This study is expected to contribute to the empirical literature on public sector accounting and provide insights for local governments in formulating more effective and sustainable financial management policies .

Abstract

Taxes are the main source of state revenue and play a crucial role in infrastructure development and public service provision. MSMEs, as the dominant business sector in Indonesia, have significant potential to contribute to tax revenue. However, the tax compliance level of MSME taxpayers remains low. This study aims to analyze the effect of tax rates, tax payment mechanisms, tax sanctions, and tax awareness on the tax compliance of MSMEs in Pati City. This research uses a quantitative approach with primary data collected through questionnaires from 108 MSME respondents. The sampling technique used is convenience sampling. The results show that all four independent variables have a positive and significant effect on taxpayer compliance. This means that lower tax rates, easier and more transparent payment mechanisms, strict tax sanctions, and high awareness among taxpayers contribute to improved MSME tax compliance.
