Abstract

This study investigates the influence of visionary leadership, organizational culture, empowerment, achievement motivation, and trust on the quality of instructor services for vocational teachers in the fields of business and tourism in DKI Jakarta. The study focuses on alumni of upskilling and reskilling programs conducted by the Center for Development and Quality Assurance of Vocational Education for Business and Tourism (Balai Besar Pengembangan Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan Vokasi/BPPMPV Bisnis dan Pariwisata). Using a quantitative approach, the research applies path analysis to examine direct and indirect relationships among variables, with achievement, motivation and trust serving as mediators. Results show that all five independent variables significantly affect instructor service quality, with visionary leadership and organizational culture positively influencing motivation, while organizational culture and empowerment impact trust. To enhance practical applicability, the study employs the Scientific Identification Theory to Conduct Operation Research in Education Management (SITOREM) to identify priority areas for improvement. The analysis highlights key low-performing indicators—such as responsiveness, assurance, and clarity in leadership vision—that hold high strategic value. The findings contribute a comprehensive and evidence-based model for improving the quality of instructor services in vocational education. Furthermore, this study provides actionable insights for policymakers, training institutions, and educational leaders in developing targeted strategies to improve professional development outcomes and institutional performance.

Abstract

The Society 5.0 era marks a shift in community development by integrating advanced technology with human-centered values. This article explores strategic efforts to enhance digital literacy and social innovation as core pillars to foster self-reliance in remote villages. Using a qualitative approach through literature reviews and reflections on community service practices, the study identifies key challenges such as digital infrastructure gaps, limited access to education, and cultural barriers. At the same time, it highlights the untapped local potentials that can be harnessed through digital empowerment. The discussion emphasizes the importance of multi-stakeholder collaboration involving academics, government institutions, and local communities to realize inclusive digital transformation. Findings suggest that integrating technological skills with local knowledge systems not only supports digital inclusion but also stimulates innovation tailored to local needs. In conclusion, the synergy between digital literacy and social innovation emerges as a sustainable strategy to accelerate rural self-sufficiency in the age of Society 5.0, offering a human-centered approach to technological advancement.

Abstract

Foods are characterized as having substances that are unfit for consumption because they have elements that are damaging to health. the existence of studies conducted by the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency that revealed the presence of hazardous preservatives like borax and formalin in components used to make street food, including meatballs, wet noodles, and salted fish that is sold in the market. The entire sample (100%) yielded negative findings for the borax test. The formalin test findings on 25 samples of noodles revealed that all 25 samples (100%) contained formalin, with a level of 4.71 mg/L. Since March 2015, tests have been done on food distributed near Aceh Besar. 98 food samples were evaluated during those three months and borax testing results for 18 of them. Yellow noodles, batagor, and fried meatballs are typically the ones with dangerous ingredients. The goal of the activity is to teach moms how to identify the presence of borax and formalin in snacks and to make them aware of the risks these substances represent to their health. research techniques using counseling and demonstration. From July 22 through July 24, 2017, the event took place in Sumber Jaya Village, Timang Gajah District, Bener Meriah Regency. A total of about 30 moms who were in groups for routine recitation and mothers of toddlers participated in the therapy. Results To be more persuasive, a food test kit is delivered to compare the outcomes of turmeric extract with those from current tools. In this service, the demonstration uses tools, including making a straightforward turmeric extract using a blender and filter. The use of visual aids helps the audience understand the demonstration's workings because they can observe and analyze actual objects. Making extracts is a technique used by respondents in counseling. The purpose of the practical exercise was to give the participants practice identifying formaldehyde and borax.  Keywords: borax, formaldehyde, turmeric

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kebijakan publik dalam mendukung pengembangan olahraga nasional di Indonesia. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui studi literatur, analisis dokumen kebijakan, dan wawancara mendalam dengan informan kunci. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun pemerintah telah merumuskan kebijakan strategis seperti Undang-Undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2022 tentang Keolahragaan dan Desain Besar Olahraga Nasional (DBON), implementasinya masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, antara lain ketimpangan distribusi infrastruktur, keterbatasan anggaran daerah, rendahnya kualitas pembinaan atlet, dan minimnya partisipasi masyarakat dalam kegiatan olahraga. Diperlukan penguatan koordinasi antara pemerintah pusat dan daerah, pemerataan fasilitas olahraga, peningkatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia, serta kolaborasi lintas sektor untuk menciptakan sistem olahraga nasional yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap perumusan strategi kebijakan yang lebih responsif dan berbasis kebutuhan lokal dalam rangka memajukan olahraga nasional. Abstract

Burung merupakan indikator kesehatan lingkungan. Keberadaan burung sangat berdampak pada kondisi lingkungan seperti dalam persebaran biji dan penyerbukan bunga. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dari bulan Januari – Maret 2022. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat keanekaragaman burung dan spesies burung yang menyebarkan biji pada kawasan hutan Kota Banda Aceh. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei eksploratif dengan kombinasi Teknik antara point count dan Line transek. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 15 spesies burung dengan nilai keanekaragaman 2,17 dan tergolong ke dalam kategori sedang. Nilai frekuensi kehadiran berkisar antara 0,22-0,89 dengan nilai frekuensi relatif berkisar 4,35 sampai dengan 17,39 dimana frekuensi relative tertinggi di dominasi oleh spesies Cinnyris ornatus, Pycnonotus aurigaster, Orthotomus ruficeps, Pycnonotus goiavier dan Hirundo rustica. Dari hasil penelitian yang ditemukan menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan burung penyebar biji hanya ditemukan 4 spesies yaitu Pycnonotus goiavier, Lonchura punctulate, Geopelia striata dan Passer montanus

Abstract

Penelitian mengususlkan analiss angin sebagai sumber energi listrik alternatif di kecamatan Tontonunu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kecepatan angin tahunan sesuai dengan ketinggian hub turbin komersial (m/s0 dan mengetahui kepadatan daya angin sesuai dengan ketinggian turbin komersial (W/m2). Teknik pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu berdasarkan data NASA kecepatan rata – rata per jam selama 17 thaun terakhir yaitu dari tahun 2007 – 2023 pada ketinggina 10 dan 50 meter menggunakan lintang dan bujur (4’22’59,4’’ dan 121’42’24’’) kecamatan Tontonunu. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode Power Density (PD). Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata – rata kecepatan angin pertahunnya masih tergolong sangat rendah dan hanya berpotensi pada pengembangan pembangkit listrik tenaga angin skala kecil.

Abstract

The limited academic writing skills of early-career lecturers remain a major challenge in improving the quality and quantity of scientific publications in Islamic higher education institutions. This community service program aimed to enhance the ability to write Islamic-oriented scientific articles through collaboration between Universitas Islam Kebangsaan Indonesia (UNIKI) and the State Institute for Islamic Studies (IAIN) Takengon. The program involved 10 early-career lecturers who participated in a three-day offline training followed by two weeks of online mentoring. The method employed included intensive workshops, structured writing practice, and evaluative mentoring by senior lecturers. The results showed significant improvement, with 83% of participants able to produce articles that met the standards of nationally accredited journals. A total of 8 articles were successfully completed and submitted, with 5 articles accepted and published in SINTA 4-5 journals, while 3 others are still under review. This program also facilitated the formation of a cross-campus writing group committed to ongoing academic collaboration. These findings indicate that inter-institutional collaboration combined with a mentoring approach is effective in strengthening the scientific writing capacity of early-career lecturers in Islamic universities. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis artikel ilmiah berwawasan Islam melalui kolaborasi antara Universitas Islam Kebangsaan Indonesia (UNIKI) dan Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Takengon. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 10 dosen pemula yang mengikuti pelatihan intensif selama tiga hari secara luring dan dilanjutkan dengan pendampingan daring selama dua minggu. Metode yang digunakan mencakup pelatihan, praktik menulis artikel secara bertahap, serta mentoring evaluatif oleh dosen senior. Hasil program menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan, di mana 83% peserta mampu menyusun artikel sesuai standar jurnal nasional terakreditasi. Sebanyak 8 artikel berhasil ditulis dan diajukan, dengan 5 artikel telah diterima dan terbit di jurnal SINTA 4-5, sementara 3 artikel lainnya masih dalam proses review. Program ini juga menghasilkan kelompok penulis lintas kampus yang berkomitmen melanjutkan kolaborasi akademik. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi antarinstitusi dengan pendekatan mentoring efektif dalam meningkatkan kapasitas penulisan ilmiah dosen pemula di lingkungan perguruan tinggi Islam. Abstract

This study aims to identify the role of corporate governance in carbon emissions disclosure in Indonesia, especially in the context of business size, industry type, and profitability. Against the backdrop of increasing awareness of climate change issues and the Indonesian government's commitment to reducing emissions, carbon emissions disclosure is becoming increasingly relevant. Through a quantitative approach, this study analyzes secondary data sourced from companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2019 - 2022. The sample selection method applied is purposive sampling with a total of 155 from 2019-2022. This study explores whether business size, industry type, and profitability affect carbon emissions disclosure, and how the board of directors functions as a moderating variable in the relationship. The results are expected to contribute to corporate governance practices and regulations related to carbon emissions disclosure in Indonesia, as well as assist companies in improving the integrity and transparency of their environmental reporting.

Abstract

This study explores the application of Ilahiyah accounting in shaping the character of Muslim students majoring in Accounting at Pontianak State Polytechnic. The central issue addressed is the limited understanding among some students who perceive profit solely in material terms, thereby overlooking the immaterial dimensions emphasized in Islamic teachings. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, this research adopts the Bayani method an analytical framework grounded in critical interpretation of relevant Qur’anic verses and Prophetic Hadiths. The findings reveal that integrating divine accounting principles based on the Qur’an and As-Sunnah effectively cultivates student character development that transcends mere financial orientation. Instead, it fosters an awareness of moral, ethical, and spiritual responsibilities. This study contributes to reinforcing an Islamic-values-based accounting paradigm, aiming to produce Muslim accountants endowed with integrity and holistic accountability.

Abstract

Facial emotion recognition technology is crucial in understanding human expressions from images or videos by analyzing distinct facial features.  A common challenge in this technology is accurately detecting a person's facial expression, which can be hindered by unclear facial lines, often due to poor lighting conditions. To address these challenges, it is essential to improve image quality. This study investigates how enhancing image quality through homomorphic filtering and sharpening techniques can boost the accuracy and performance of deep learning-based facial emotion recognition systems. Improved image quality allows the classification model to focus on relevant expression features better.  Therefore, this research contributes to in facilitating more intuitive and responsive communications by enabling system to interpret and respond to human emotions effectively. The testing used three different architectures: MobileNet, InceptionV3, and DenseNet121. Evaluasi kinerja dilakukan menggunakan metrik akurasi, presisi, recall, dan F1-score. Experimental results indicated that image enhancement positively impacts the accuracy of the facial emotion recognition system. Specifically, the average accuracy increased by 1-2% for the MobileNet architecture, by 5-7% for InceptionV3, and by 1-3% for DenseNet121.
