Abstract

This study explores the application of Ilahiyah accounting in shaping the character of Muslim students majoring in Accounting at Pontianak State Polytechnic. The central issue addressed is the limited understanding among some students who perceive profit solely in material terms, thereby overlooking the immaterial dimensions emphasized in Islamic teachings. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, this research adopts the Bayani method an analytical framework grounded in critical interpretation of relevant Qur’anic verses and Prophetic Hadiths. The findings reveal that integrating divine accounting principles based on the Qur’an and As-Sunnah effectively cultivates student character development that transcends mere financial orientation. Instead, it fosters an awareness of moral, ethical, and spiritual responsibilities. This study contributes to reinforcing an Islamic-values-based accounting paradigm, aiming to produce Muslim accountants endowed with integrity and holistic accountability.

Abstract

Facial emotion recognition technology is crucial in understanding human expressions from images or videos by analyzing distinct facial features.  A common challenge in this technology is accurately detecting a person's facial expression, which can be hindered by unclear facial lines, often due to poor lighting conditions. To address these challenges, it is essential to improve image quality. This study investigates how enhancing image quality through homomorphic filtering and sharpening techniques can boost the accuracy and performance of deep learning-based facial emotion recognition systems. Improved image quality allows the classification model to focus on relevant expression features better.  Therefore, this research contributes to in facilitating more intuitive and responsive communications by enabling system to interpret and respond to human emotions effectively. The testing used three different architectures: MobileNet, InceptionV3, and DenseNet121. Evaluasi kinerja dilakukan menggunakan metrik akurasi, presisi, recall, dan F1-score. Experimental results indicated that image enhancement positively impacts the accuracy of the facial emotion recognition system. Specifically, the average accuracy increased by 1-2% for the MobileNet architecture, by 5-7% for InceptionV3, and by 1-3% for DenseNet121.

Abstract

Corruption is a significant issue that hinders development in many countries, including Indonesia. Islamic religious education is believed to play a crucial role in shaping an anti-corruption character among the younger generation. This study aims to analyze how Islamic religious education can foster integrity and anti-corruption values by instilling moral values such as honesty (sidiq), trustworthiness (amanah), and justice (adil). The research method used in this study is library research, analyzing various recent literatures related to Islamic religious education and corruption prevention. The findings indicate that Islamic religious education has great potential in shaping an anti-corruption character by embedding these values. However, challenges faced in its implementation include the lack of understanding among educators regarding the importance of religion-based anti-corruption education and the influence of a social environment permissive towards corrupt practices. Therefore, collaboration between schools, families, and society is needed to create an environment that supports the application of Islamic values in everyday life, in order to form a generation that is both integral and free from corruption.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran SMP Muhammadiyah Bantul Yogyakarta (MUHIBA) dalam mewujudkan pendidikan Agama Islam yang progresif dan moderat di kalangan peserta didik. Pendidikan Agama Islam yang dimaksud mengedepankan nilai-nilai keislaman yang toleran, inklusif, serta mampu menjawab tantangan zaman tanpa kehilangan esensi ajaran Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 500 responden yang terdiri dari siswa kelas VII, VIII, dan IX. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket tertutup dan wawancara terstruktur dengan guru PAI dan kepala sekolah. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan statistik persentase dan tabulasi silang. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa 78% siswa merasakan penguatan nilai-nilai Islam moderat melalui kegiatan pembelajaran dan ekstrakurikuler keagamaan di MUHIBA. Selain itu, evaluasi menunjukkan peran guru sebagai fasilitator pembelajaran sangat berpengaruh dalam membentuk karakter religius yang terbuka dan toleran. Kesimpulannya, SMP MUHIBA berhasil mengimplementasikan pendidikan Agama Islam yang progresif dan moderat melalui sinergi kurikulum, keteladanan guru, dan lingkungan sekolah yang kondusif. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi positif bagi pengembangan model pendidikan Islam di tingkat menengah pertama. Kata kunci: Pendidikan Agama Islam, moderat, progresif, SMP Muhammadiyah Bantul

Abstract

Perkawinan merupakan ikatan lahir batin antara laki-laki dan perempuan yang diakui secara hukum dan agama. Namun, perceraian kadang menjadi pilihan terakhir, dengan dampak signifikan, terutama terkait hak asuh anak. Umumnya anak diasuh oleh ibu, namun dalam kondisi tertentu ayah dapat memperoleh hak asuh. Penelitian ini menganalisis pertimbangan hakim dalam menetapkan hak asuh kepada ayah akibat kelalaian ibu, Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis landasan hukum serta pertimbangan hakim dalam menetapkan hak asuh anak kepada ayah karena kelalaian ibu, dengan mengacu pada putusan nomor 787/Pdt. G/2023/PN Jkt. Utr. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prinsip kepentingan terbaik anak menjadi dasar utama. Dalam kasus ini, ibu dianggap lalai karena kecanduan judi online, sehingga hak asuh diberikan kepada ayah.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Scabies is a contagious skin disease caused by the infestation of the mite Sarcoptes scabiei, which frequently occurs in crowded environments such as Islamic boarding schools. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and personal hygiene with the incidence of scabies among students at the Darul Mukhlisin Islamic Boarding School in Aceh Tengah District. The research method used is quantitative analysis with a cross-sectional approach. The research population consisted of all male students from the MTs (Islamic Junior High School) of Darul Mukhlisin Islamic Boarding School, totaling 160 students. The sample consisted of 62 students selected through random sampling. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and field observations and analyzed using the chi-square test with a 95% significance level. The results of the study showed that the chi-square significance value for knowledge was (p-value=0.000) <0.05 and for personal hygiene was (p-value=0.002) <0.05. This indicates a significant relationship between knowledge and personal hygiene with the incidence of scabies in the boarding school. Based on the research findings, it is concluded that students with good knowledge and good personal hygiene practices have a lower risk of experiencing scabies. Therefore, it is recommended that students improve personal hygiene, and boarding school management strengthen health education. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the management of solid medical waste at Puskesmas Pante Raya using a descriptive qualitative approach. This method is used to provide a detailed description of the ongoing medical waste management conditions at the health center. The results show that while most processes, such as waste segregation, packaging, and temporary storage, have been carried out in accordance with established standards, there are several deficiencies that need to be addressed. Key findings include the absence of a consistent self-weighing system to record the amount of waste and the manual transportation process being conducted without a specialized trolley, which increases the risk of contamination. Additionally, the duration of waste storage in the temporary storage area often exceeds the stipulated limit of 90 days. Although there is cooperation with third parties for final waste management, there are frequent delays in the transportation process. This study concludes that improvements in the recording system and adherence to transportation schedules are necessary to reduce the risk of waste accumulation and ensure more effective medical waste management at Puskesmas Pante Raya. Abstract

ABSTRACT Acute Respiratory Tract Infection (ARI) is the main cause of morbidity and mortality of infectious diseases in the world. The group most at risk is toddlers. The incidence of ARI is always the first in the 10 most common diseases in the Lamapahan Community Health Center, the percentage of toddlers with the highest number of ARI cases is in the Lampahan Community Health Center. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between family members' smoking habits, residential density, ventilation area, and floor type with the incidence of ARI in toddlers in the working area of the Lampahan Community Health Center in 2024. This type of research uses a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional study design. The study was conducted on July 15-25, 2024. The population in this study was 1889 mothers who had toddlers, the sample in this study was 95 mothers who had toddlers who were taken by random sampling. Data collection using questionnaires by interview and observation, data were analyzed univariately and bivariately with the chi-square statistical test. The results of the study showed that 51 (53.7%) toddlers had ARI, and 43 (45.3%) had family members who smoked in the house, 40 (42.1%) housing density did not meet the requirements, 54 (56.8%) ventilation area did not meet the requirements, and 35 (36.8%) types of floors did not meet the requirements. The results of the chi-square test showed that there was a relationship between smoking habits in the house (p-value 0.000), housing density (p-value 0.003), ventilation area (p-value 0.096), and floor type (p-value 0.445). smoking habits in the house and residential density, ventilation area, type of house floor are factors that influence the incidence of ARI. There is a relationship between smoking habits in the house and residential density with the incidence of ARI, there is no relationship between ventilation area habits and type of floor with the incidence of ARI. It is expected that health workers will increase socialization to provide education related to the environment that meets the requirements and the dangers of smoking in the house. Abstract

A logo plays a crucial role as the face of a brand. Through a logo, the public can recognize a product and associate it with certain associations. In Tatabau Village, there are MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) that offer potential for economic growth. The women in Tatabau Village dominate this sector, with the majority producing processed foods. The existence of MSMEs is undeniable, as they have proven their resilience and are driving the economy, especially after the economic crisis. On the other hand, MSMEs also face numerous challenges, including limited capital and limited mastery of science and technology. One of the challenges faced by MSMEs in Tatabau Village is the lack of a logo or product identity. This is due to a lack of knowledge among MSME owners, as they are typically women who have limited digital interaction. The purpose of this community service program is to help MSMEs in Tatabau Village develop product logos to increase buyer interest and provide a distinctive product identity. The community service method includes observation, coordination with MSMEs, and implementation of community service activities. The results of the community service program have had a positive impact on increasing understanding of branding, the importance of product logos, and marketing strategies. Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model on students’ creative thinking skills in economics subject. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design. The sample consisted of two classes: an experimental class taught using PjBL and a control class taught using conventional methods. Data were collected using a creative thinking skills test administered in both pre-test and post-test. The results showed a significant improvement in the experimental class compared to the control class. Independent sample t-test analysis confirmed that the difference was statistically significant. These findings indicate that PjBL can serve as an effective alternative learning model to improve students’ creative thinking skills, particularly in economics learning
