Abstract

ABSTRACT Acute Respiratory Tract Infection (ARI) is the main cause of morbidity and mortality of infectious diseases in the world. The group most at risk is toddlers. The incidence of ARI is always the first in the 10 most common diseases in the Lamapahan Community Health Center, the percentage of toddlers with the highest number of ARI cases is in the Lampahan Community Health Center. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between family members' smoking habits, residential density, ventilation area, and floor type with the incidence of ARI in toddlers in the working area of the Lampahan Community Health Center in 2024. This type of research uses a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional study design. The study was conducted on July 15-25, 2024. The population in this study was 1889 mothers who had toddlers, the sample in this study was 95 mothers who had toddlers who were taken by random sampling. Data collection using questionnaires by interview and observation, data were analyzed univariately and bivariately with the chi-square statistical test. The results of the study showed that 51 (53.7%) toddlers had ARI, and 43 (45.3%) had family members who smoked in the house, 40 (42.1%) housing density did not meet the requirements, 54 (56.8%) ventilation area did not meet the requirements, and 35 (36.8%) types of floors did not meet the requirements. The results of the chi-square test showed that there was a relationship between smoking habits in the house (p-value 0.000), housing density (p-value 0.003), ventilation area (p-value 0.096), and floor type (p-value 0.445). smoking habits in the house and residential density, ventilation area, type of house floor are factors that influence the incidence of ARI. There is a relationship between smoking habits in the house and residential density with the incidence of ARI, there is no relationship between ventilation area habits and type of floor with the incidence of ARI. It is expected that health workers will increase socialization to provide education related to the environment that meets the requirements and the dangers of smoking in the house. Abstract

A logo plays a crucial role as the face of a brand. Through a logo, the public can recognize a product and associate it with certain associations. In Tatabau Village, there are MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) that offer potential for economic growth. The women in Tatabau Village dominate this sector, with the majority producing processed foods. The existence of MSMEs is undeniable, as they have proven their resilience and are driving the economy, especially after the economic crisis. On the other hand, MSMEs also face numerous challenges, including limited capital and limited mastery of science and technology. One of the challenges faced by MSMEs in Tatabau Village is the lack of a logo or product identity. This is due to a lack of knowledge among MSME owners, as they are typically women who have limited digital interaction. The purpose of this community service program is to help MSMEs in Tatabau Village develop product logos to increase buyer interest and provide a distinctive product identity. The community service method includes observation, coordination with MSMEs, and implementation of community service activities. The results of the community service program have had a positive impact on increasing understanding of branding, the importance of product logos, and marketing strategies. Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di sekolah SMP Negeri 1  Peulimbang dan sasaran pengabdian adalah pengurus Koperasi Pegawai Negeri (KPN) Bina Warga SMP Negeri 1  Peulimbang yang merupakan salah satu KPN di Peulimbang yang masih sebagian besar menggunakan pencatatan laporan keuangan secara manual dan belum menyajikan  laporan keuangan dengan sistem komputerisasi dan belum sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Koperasi dan UKM No. 13 Tahun 2015. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi koperasi adalah sumber daya manusia (pengurus) koperasi di sekolah tersebut masih minim pengetahuan tentang cara menyusun laporan keuangan menggunakan sistem komputerisasi. Oleh karena itu, perlu diberikan edukasi dan pelatihan, agar dapat Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal  14 April 2025 dan diikuti oleh 15 peserta.  Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berupa pengumpulan data dan informasi melalui survey dan wawancara kepada para pengurus koperasi. Selanjutnya informasi dianalisis secara deskriptif, diimplementasikan   dan  dievaluasi   keseluruhan   program   yang   dilaksanakan. Dimulai dari tahap persiapan, yaitu dengan melakukan kunjungan  ke lokasi dan wawancara  langsung dengan mitra. Tahap Pelaksanaan  dilakukan  dalam bentuk pemberian edukasi tentang dasar-dasar akuntansi dan pelatihan penyusunan laporan keuangan kepada pengurus KPN Bina Warga di SMP Negeri 1  Peulimbang dengan menggunakan system komputerisasi.  Hasil yang didapatkan dari kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah para pengurus koperasi terutama ketua, sekretaris dan bendahara sudah mampu menyusun laporan keuangan tahunan secara terkomputerisasi melalui aplikasi MYOB versi  13  dengan baik dan benar  serta sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Koperasi dan UKM No.  13 Tahun 2015 tentang Pedoman Akuntansi Usaha Simpan Pinjam Oleh Koperasi.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model on students’ creative thinking skills in economics subject. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design. The sample consisted of two classes: an experimental class taught using PjBL and a control class taught using conventional methods. Data were collected using a creative thinking skills test administered in both pre-test and post-test. The results showed a significant improvement in the experimental class compared to the control class. Independent sample t-test analysis confirmed that the difference was statistically significant. These findings indicate that PjBL can serve as an effective alternative learning model to improve students’ creative thinking skills, particularly in economics learning

Abstract

Dalam aturan hukum di Indonesia bahwa hak asuh anak pada umumnya jatuh ke tangan ibunya tapi dalam penetapan pengadilan Agama No. 78/Pdt.G/2020/PA.Bdg Hak asuh anak jatuh ke tangan ayahnya karena ibunya mengidap penyakit bipolar. Permasalahan Dalam penelitian ini mengkaji tentang aturan hak asuh anak menuturt KHI, dan alasan Hak Asuh Anak jatuh kepada ayah Akibat Bipolar yang di alami Ibu. Metode penelitian yang dipakai adalah normative yang mengandalkan studi kasus dan studi kepustakaan. karena bahan hukum yang dipakai Undang-undang perkawinan no 1 tahun 1975, Kompilasi hukum Islam dan Pasal 26 UU No. 23 Tahun 2002 perubahan UU No. 35 Tahun 2014 tentang Perlindungan Anak. Pengaturan hak asuh anak dalam hukum keluarga Indonesia pada dasarnya berlandaskan Undang-Undang No. 1 Tahun 1974 tentang Perkawinan serta Kompilasi Hukum Islam (KHI). Berdasarkan studi Putusan No. 78/Pdt.G/2020/PA.Bdg, Majelis Hakim memutuskan untuk menyerahkan hak asuh anak kepada ayah. Pertimbangan hakim didasarkan pada Pasal 49 UU No. 1 Tahun 1974 tentang Perkawinan, Pasal 109 KHI mengenai pencabutan perwalian, serta Pasal 26 UU No. 23 Tahun 2002 perubahan UU No. 35 Tahun 2014 tentang Perlindungan Anak, yang menekankan kewajiban orang tua melindungi dan mengasuh anak demi kepentingan terbaik anak (the best interest of the child).

Abstract

This study discusses the importance of mental health with a focus on providing education related to access to psychological services for members of the Jalan Bareng Makassar community. Mental health is an important aspect in realizing comprehensive health. However, in most developing countries, mental health issues have not been prioritized. This has the potential to have a long-term impact and disrupt individual work activities if they do not immediately receive psychological services. This service aims to educate members of the Jalan Bareng Makassar community about the importance of access to psychological services and the impact of an unhealthy mentality in their activities. This activity involved approximately 25 members of the Jalan Bareng Makassar community as participants and one of the Psychologists from the Humind Wellbeing Center as a facilitator, using an interactive discussion method. The results of this activity indicate that a structured and collaborative approach is effective in increasing understanding of the importance of psychological services in maintaining individual mental health and increasing awareness, as well as participant knowledge regarding the importance of early detection and mental health.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the reward system on work happiness with work engagement as an intervening variable. The data used in this study came from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan employees at the Sumbagut Regional Office in 2024. The results of the study indicate that work engagement is influenced by the financial reward system. In addition, there is a significant effect of the non-monetary reward system on work engagement. The monetary reward system also affects work happiness, as does the non-monetary reward system. Work engagement also has a positive effect on work happiness. Mediation analysis shows that the coefficients on path a, path b, and path c are all significant, so that work engagement acts as a partial mediator in the relationship between the monetary reward system and work happiness at BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Sumbagut. In addition, work engagement also partially mediates the relationship between the non-monetary reward system and work happiness in the same place.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning model on improving students’ collaboration skills in Social Studies learning in Grade VIII at UPTD SMPN 1 Peusangan. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The research sample consisted of 64 eighth- grade students, evenly divided into two groups: 32 students in the experimental class who received treatment using the Project Based Learning model, and 32 students in the control class who received conventional learning. The data collection instrument used was a student collaboration skills questionnaire. Data analysis included normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing using SPSS Statistics 25 software. The results of hypothesis testing using the Paired Sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), so H₀ is rejected and Hₐ is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the implementation of the Project Based Learning model on improving students’ collaboration skills in Social Studies learning in Grade VIII at UPTD SMPN 1 Peusangan.

Abstract

Filsafat merupakan proses berpikir secara mendalam dan juga diartikan sebagai suatu sikap seseorang yang sadar dan dewasa dalam memikirkan segala sesuatu secara mendalam dan ingin melihat dari segi yang luas dan menyeluruh. Filsafat akan menggali hakikat ilmu yang tidak ada hentinya untuk mencapai sasaran yaitu kebenaran dan kenyataan. Kelahiran suatu ilmu tidak dapat dipisahkan dari peranan filsafat. Maka dengan mengulas sejarah kita akan mengetahui bagaimana perkembangan filsafat ilmu. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kepustakaan atau library research. Filsafat pertama kali muncul pada zaman Yunani kuno oleh Thales, yang mengatakan bahwa alam ini berasal dari air karena unsur terpenting bagi setiap makhluk hidup adalah air. Terdapat pula bebrapa ahli filsafat yang lain diantaranya, Heracelitos, permenides, Plato dan Aristolteles. Pada periode pertengan filsafat mengalami kemunduran diakibatkan adanya doktrin dari pihak gereja-gereja yang membatasi pemikiran-pemikiran para ilmuan kala itu. Filsafat kembali berkembang pada periode modern, seperti pemikiran rasionalisme, empirisme dan kritisme disamping itu ajaran-ajaran gereja memudar.

Abstract

The development of technology, communication and computers encourages the growth of the community's economy that develops businesses online. The development of communication devices that make everyone who has a smartphone connected to the internet media makes it easier for prospective buyers to find the desired goods through their communication devices. So this online business is a very promising opportunity to be developed. The implementation of community service aims to apply e-commerce to the sale of coffee products. In the application of e-commerce to coffee products, it is necessary to provide insight to business actors to maintain product quality because it is related to buyer trust, providing complete and fast information, openness to E-Commerce information for Optimizing Product Marketing in the Digital Era for coffee shops Coffee Gallery in Takengon.
