Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to evaluate the level of student satisfaction with three main aspects of the educational environment in higher education: lecturer performance in teaching, learning facilities/infrastructure, and academic administration services. This research uses a quantitative approach method with data collection techniques through questionnaire survey instruments specifically designed to measure student perceptions and satisfaction in each aspect studied. The results showed that the level of student satisfaction with the performance of lecturers in teaching was generally high, but there were several indicators that required special attention, such as the provision of learning media in the teaching and learning process. Learning facilities/infrastructure received mixed responses; some facilities are considered adequate, while others still need to be improved, especially in terms of accessibility and comfort. Academic administration services also received an overall positive response, although some aspects, such as service efficiency and responsiveness, still need to be improved. This is in accordance with the formulation in the preamble to the 1945 Constitution, which includes belief in the Almighty God, just and civilized humanity, Indonesian unity, democracy led by wisdom in deliberation/representation, and social justice for all Indonesian people. The research method used is literature study by referring to related studies and research, as well as applying descriptive-analytical methods in presenting research results. Abstract

Education has a crucial role in the advancement of a country. The disparity in the quality of education can be attributed not only to the educational process, but also to the subpar performance of teachers as educators. The objective of this study is to ascertain the impact of digital literacy, innovative work behaviour, and interpersonal communication on teacher performance. This study use statistical survey methodology to authenticate its conclusions. The Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) was employed by the researchers. The Serang City area in Indonesia is home to a collective of 19 public elementary schools. The research sample comprised 19 school administrators and 81 state elementary school teachers in Serang City, Banten, Indonesia. We implemented the sampling process using a stochastic technique. PLS path modelling is employed in data analysis. The research findings indicate a significant impact of innovative work behaviour, digital literacy, and interpersonal communication on teacher effectiveness, with a p-value of less than 0.05 for each relationship. The research findings hold considerable ramifications for school principals seeking to enhance teacher effectiveness.

Abstract

The Al-Qur'an tilawati learning method was developed to facilitate the study of the Al-Qur'an for Muslims. This research intends to examine the implementation of the tilawati technique in 5 Al-Quran learning institutions in Surabaya. This qualitative study employs descriptive approaches to elucidate and characterise supervision practices at five formal educational institutions in Surabaya that utilise the tilawati method. This study employed three data gathering methods: observation, interviews, and field documentation. This research includes data reduction, data display, and verification as part of the data analysis process. The research findings indicated that the Key Performance Area (KPA) was functioning efficiently in SD Khadijah 2 Surabaya, but was not meeting its intended purpose in the other four schools. The learning process does not correspond with the tilawati method. Teachers are inadequately trained to utilise this method. Attendance records, schedules, and achievements are not consistently shared with all teachers. Most classrooms have a layout of benches and tables with parallel shapes. The learning facilities are not fully developed in all elementary schools involved in the study. The tilawati method of learning has been implemented in 5 schools in Surabaya. The impact of implementing the tilawati method in schools is that students are more able to read the Al-Quran well and easily.
