Abstract

Dunia kuliner tidak ada habisnya untuk dibahas, selalu ada kreasi kreatif yang menghadirkan inovasi kuliner. Risol mayo adalah salah satu camilan yang kini semakin digemari masyarakat, terutama di kalangan anak muda. Program pengabdian penyuluhan tentang risol mayo sebagai ide usaha kuliner kreatif di Kelurahan Kampung 1 Kota Tarakan diharapkan dapat menjadikan masyarakat menjadi terinspirasi untuk berwirausaha. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan di Kelurahan Kampung 1, Kecamatan Tarakan Tengah, Kota Tarakan, Provinsi Kalimantan Utara pada 7 Oktober 2025 pukul 16:00-18:00 WITA. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemandirian ekonomi warga Kelurahan Kampung 1 RT 11 Kota Tarakan melalui pengembangan usaha kuliner kreatif berbasis risol mayo. Program ini dirancang sebagai upaya mendorong kreativitas dan keterampilan usaha masyarakat Kampung 1. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pendidikan masyarakat, pelatihan, dan difusi IPTEKS. Pendidikan masyarakat dilakukan melalui sosialisasi pentingnya berwirausaha. Pelatihan dilaksanakan melalui demostrasi dan praktik langsung pembuatan risol mayo. Difusi IPTEKS diterapkan melalui transfer keterampilan produksi sehingga peserta mampu menghasilkan produk yang berpotensi ekonomi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan peserta dalam membuat risol mayo, bertambahnya wawasan kewirausahaan, serta munculnya minat untuk mencoba memproduksi dan menjual risol mayo secara mandiri. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap penguatan keterampilan kuliner kreatif dan membuka peluang usaha bagi masyarakat setempat.

Abstract

Upaya untuk mengembangkan salad buah segar serta cemilan modern yang bergizi bagi anak-anak di Kelurahan Mamburungan, Kota Tarakan, muncul sebagai respons terhadap minimnya ketertarikan anak-anak dalam mengonsumsi buah dan makanan sehat. Selain itu, ketergantungan yang tinggi pada jajanan instan yang miskin gizi menjadi masalah yang perlu diatasi. Situasi ini bisa menyebabkan berbagai masalah kesehatan, seperti kekurangan vitamin, mineral, dan serat yang penting selama masa pertumbuhan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan di mamburungan, kecamatan Tarakan timur, kota Tarakan provinsi Kalimantan utara pada 1 Oktober 2025 pukul 08.00-12.00 WITA. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran anak-anak dan orang tua mengenai pentingnya mengonsumsi makanan sehat melalui inovasi olahan buah yang menyenangkan, praktis, dan bergizi. Metode untuk pelaksanaan kegiatan ini meliputi penyuluhan tentang gizi yang sederhana, pelatihan cara membuat salad buah segar dan cemilan modern dari buah, serta dukungan dalam pengemasan produk yang menarik dan higienis. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan anak-anak dan masyarakat tentang manfaat mengonsumsi buah bertambah, dan ketertarikan anak-anak terhadap makanan sehat yang disajikan dengan cara yang kreatif juga meningkat. Selain itu, inisiatif ini memberikan kesempatan untuk ekonomi kreatif bagi masyarakat setempat. Dengan begitu, pengembangan salad buah segar dan cemilan modern yang bergizi bisa menjadi solusi alternatif untuk mendukung gaya hidup sehat anak-anak dan sekaligus memberdayakan masyarakat di Kelurahan Mamburungan.

Abstract

This community service project aims to develop children's potential through the art of coloring as an effective educational tool to enhance social and cultural understanding. The activity was held at Jl. Binalatung, RT 11, Pantai Amal, Tarakan Timur, a coastal area that is also a border region. The background for this project is the limited access of children in this area to creative activities that could support their personal development and awareness of social and cultural diversity. A coloring competition was chosen as the approach, involving 30 participants from kindergarten to elementary school age, many of whom do not continue to formal education.Using a participatory method, children were not only invited to color but were also given an understanding of the meanings and cultural values embedded in each image. Furthermore, the activity was designed to foster a sense of togetherness, sportsmanship, and self-confidence. The results showed very high enthusiasm from the participants. They were not only able to produce beautiful artworks but also demonstrated an increased understanding of the importance of appreciating differences and cultural diversity. This report proves that the art of coloring plays a crucial role as a tool to bridge the knowledge gap and foster cultural awareness, especially for children in remote and border areas who have limited access to education and educational entertainment. Therefore, it is recommended that similar programs be continued with more varied materials to support the holistic development of children in coastal regions.

Abstract

Low interest among the younger generation in local culture, particularly in traditional weaving skills, remains a significant concern in the city of Tarakan. Yet, weaving is one of Indonesia’s cultural heritages with high artistic and economic value. In response to this issue, a weaving training program was conducted at Jl. Pangeran Diponegoro RT 23 RW 08, Sebengkok Subdistrict, Central Tarakan, with the aim of fostering cultural appreciation among youth while equipping them with productive skills. The activity was held on September 13, 2025, from 13:00 to 16:00 Central Indonesian Time (WITA), at the home of a local resident in Sebengkok. The participants consisted of six male students from grade 10 of a vocational high school and four adult female participants. The methods employed in this program included cultural education, hands-on weaving practice, and documentation. This community engagement activity reflects a comprehensive approach to cultural preservation while also opening economic opportunities for the local community. The program included the introduction of weaving's cultural values, basic skill training, small-scale business mentoring based on woven products, and community development efforts..

Abstract

This community service program aims to strengthen environmental awareness and literacy among coastal children through a participatory educational approach in RT 05 Pantai Amal, Tarakan City. The program involved children aged 6–12 years who participated in a series of integrated activities combining environmental education and literacy-based learning. Visual media, interactive discussions, and picture storybooks with environmental themes were used to create a learning process that was close to the children’s daily experiences. Observational data showed a significant increase in children’s understanding of coastal environmental conditions, their awareness of waste issues, and their willingness to engage in pro-environmental behavior. At the same time, literacy activities encouraged greater interest in reading, improved confidence in expressing ideas, and enhanced participation in group discussions. The integration of environmental awareness and literacy proved effective in shaping positive character traits, including responsibility, social awareness, and critical thinking. These findings indicate that participatory, context-based education can serve as an effective strategy for empowering coastal children and fostering sustainable values from an early age.

Abstract

The timeliness of student graduation is an important indicator of academic quality and institutional performance. Delayed graduation not only affects university evaluation metrics but also postpones students’ entry into the workforce. This study proposes a predictive model to identify students at risk of delayed graduation at the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Brawijaya. A comparative evaluation of three classification algorithms, namely Random Forest, Support Vector Machine (SVM), and K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), was conducted within a Knowledge Discovery in Databases (KDD) framework. SMOTE was applied to address class imbalance, while Stratified K-Fold Cross-Validation was used to ensure robust model assessment. Experimental results show that the Random Forest model achieves the best performance, with an accuracy of 73% and an AUC of 0.79, outperforming SVM and KNN. Feature importance analysis further indicates that Grade Point Average, particularly in the third semester, is a more influential predictor of on-time and delayed graduation than credit accumulation. These results demonstrate the potential of the proposed model as an early warning system for proactive academic intervention.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan kausal antara pengalaman kerja, beban kerja, dan kemampuan komunikasi terhadap kualitas pelaporan hasil pemeriksaan, serta mengevaluasi peran profesionalisme sebagai variabel mediasi dalam hubungan tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif eksplanatori dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Populasi penelitian merupakan seluruh pemeriksa pada BPK Perwakilan Provinsi Sumatera Barat dan metode sampling yang digunakan adalah sensus terhadap 120 orang responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner tertutup dengan analisis data menggunakan Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengalaman kerja, beban kerja, kemampuan komunikasi, dan profesionalisme berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas pelaporan hasil pemeriksaan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa job demands yang tinggi tidak selalu menurunkan kualitas pelaporan hasil pemeriksaan jika tersedia job resources serta kontrol kualitas yang memadai dalam mencegah tekanan yang berlebih. Selanjutnya, hasil uji mediasi menunjukkan profesionalisme tidak mampu memediasi pengaruh pengalaman kerja terhadap kualitas pelaporan hasil pemeriksaan, namun dapat memediasi pengaruh beban kerja dan kemampuan komunikasi terhadap kualitas pelaporan hasil pemeriksaan secara signifikan. Temuan penelitian ini mengindikasikan pengalaman kerja meningkatan kualitas pelaporan hasil pemeriksaan bekerja secara langsung, sementara beban kerja dan kemampuan komunikasi meningkatkan kualitas pelaporan hasil pemeriksaan melalui pembentukan profesionalisme. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman kerja tidak secara langsung terinternalisasi sebagai perilaku profesional, sehingga dapat memberikan kontribusi teoritis dengan menegaskan profesionalisme sebagai variabel mediasi yang selektif dalam hubungan tersebut. Temuan ini memperkaya literatur akuntansi sektor publik, khususnya dalam konteks lembaga pemeriksa eksternal pemerintah.

Abstract

This article discusses risk management from the perspective of Islamic economics, with a case study on Swalayan Al-Fatih in Sumenep Regency. The research was conducted to address several issues, including: 1) What are the internal and external risks faced by Swalayan Al-Fatih in its daily operations? 2) What risk mitigation strategies can be implemented by Swalayan Al-Fatih from the perspective of Islamic economics?. In this thesis, the researcher employs a qualitative research method. Qualitative research is a procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observed behaviors. To collect data, the researcher uses interview and observation techniques. Data analysis is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Based on this orientation, the research findings indicate that the risks faced by Swalayan Al-Fatih include internal risks such as conflicts among employees, lack of skills, and low employee loyalty. External risks, such as intense competition, unsold products, as well as environmental and natural factors, were also identified. In conclusion, the risk management strategy according to Islamic economics is based on the Qur'an and Hadith, as taught by Prophet Muhammad SAW. The strategy implemented by Swalayan Al-Fatih meets several criteria of Islamic economics.

Abstract

The integration of technology in fiqh learning in salafiyah madrasas faces challenges between maintaining traditional values and adopting modern learning media. This study aims to analyze the perceptions of teachers and students towards the use of animated video media in fiqh learning at Madrasah Salafiyah Wustha Ma'had Baitul Muhsinin Medari Sleman. Descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach, involving 1 fiqh teacher and 3 grade VIII students. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Teacher perceptions show that animated videos greatly help visualize complex materials such as hajj pilgrimage and zakat, increase student learning motivation, and align with pesantren values. Students responded positively with high enthusiasm, better understanding, and improved memory retention of the material. Supporting factors include adequate technological infrastructure and management support, while obstacles include limited equipment and preparation requiring extra time. Animated video media effectively improves the quality of fiqh learning in salafiyah madrasas while maintaining traditional pesantren values.

Abstract

Education in Phase D, specifically at the Junior High School (SMP) level, is a crucial transitional phase in student Development. This phase remains dominated by a pedagogical approach, namely, a teacher-centered learning process. Although the pedagogical approach is essential as a conceptual foundation and a discipline, it is less effective at developing student independence and learning capabilities. Thus, an integration of pedagogical and andragogical approaches is necessary to instill the principles of autonomy and relevance in adolescence. This research employed a qualitative case study approach, involving class VIII A students at SMP Negeri 1 Ngoro as the research participants. Data collection techniques included direct observation during the learning process, in-depth interviews, and analysis of student learning outcomes. Students' learning abilities were measured using three indicators: learning independence, critical thinking skills, and adaptability. Research shows that combining these two approaches successfully creates a more adaptive and transformative learning environment. Pedagogical principles provide a foundation for the structure and understanding of essential concepts, while andragogical elements, such as problem-based projects, reflective discussions, and the choice of assignments, enhance students' enthusiasm for learning and give them a sense of ownership over their learning process. There was a marked improvement in students' critical thinking skills when analyzing real-life situations and their ability to manage learning tasks independently. This study concludes that combining andragogical and pedagogical approaches for junior high school students is an effective model for strengthening learning abilities and helping them address learning challenges at higher levels of education and in everyday life.
