Abstract

Kinerja dan etika karyawan yang baik menjadi tolak ukur bagi perusahaan untuk mempertahankan atau melepaskan karyawannya. Kondisi ini disebabkan oleh kinerja karyawan yang baik sehingga perusahaan dapat berjalan cepat dalam mencapai tujuan yang ditetapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara etika kerja Islam dan retensi terhadap kinerja dosen IAIN Kediri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, yaitu penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui fenomena yang terjadi pada subjek. Data diperoleh dengan melakukan wawancara terstruktur dan menyebarkan kuesioner dengan dosen yang berstatus PNS di IAIN Kediri. Penelitian ini diolah dengan menggunakan metode Structural Equation Model (SEM). Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa etika kerja Islami yang lebih baik dapat meningkatkan retensi tubuh. Indikator etika kerja Islami yang memberikan kontribusi terbesar dalam meningkatkan retensi adalah transparansi, tercermin dalam kreativitas kerja, yang merupakan sumber kebahagiaan dan kesuksesan. Lembaga dengan etika kerja Islami yang baik akan mengamalkan nilai-nilai, berupa: kejujuran, menepati janji, keadilan, menghargai orang lain, integritas, loyalitas, akuntabilitas, kepedulian terhadap sesama, dan tanggung jawab.

Abstract

This research aims to find and apply new methods to increase students' interest in learning music theory. This is because students' interest in music theory has decreased. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature review type of research. Data sources come from research results, books and websites that are relevant to the research. The data analysis used is content analysis. The research results show that the application of innovative strategies increases students' interest in learning music theory. Strategies that combine interactive and contextual elements have the greatest influence in increasing students' interest in music theory. This study provides music educators with important insight into the importance of change and innovation in teaching. Recommendations for educational practice and future research emphasize the need for approaches that better suit the needs and desires of today's students. These results add to the music education literature by demonstrating a useful method for addressing the problem of teaching music theory in modern schools.

Abstract

This study discusses the effectiveness of learning to write poetry based on the acrostic model with word cards through Wordwall media. The acrostic model is used to help students compose poetry more systematically, while word cards function as a guide in selecting relevant vocabulary. The integration of Wordwall media aims to create more interactive and interesting learning. The method used in this study is a literature study that examines various sources related to learning to write poetry. The results of the study indicate that this approach is able to increase creativity, understanding of the concept of acrostic poetry, and students' motivation in writing. In addition, the use of Wordwall as an interactive learning medium allows students to more easily explore ideas and improve critical thinking skills in writing poetry. Therefore, this strategy is recommended as an innovative alternative in learning literature in schools.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a global health problem with increasing prevalence in Indonesia. Dietary regulation based on glycemic index (GI) is an important strategy. Mocaf flour and yellow sweet potato which have medium GI and high fiber have the potential as functional food ingredients. This study aims to develop low-glycemic flakes as an alternative healthy breakfast for people with DM. The study was conducted experimentally with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), 3 treatments and 3 replications. Data were analyzed using ANOVA and Duncan's further test. The results showed that the treatment had a significant effect on color and taste, but not on aroma and texture. The best formulation was 70% mocaf: 30% yellow sweet potato. The results of the proximate test showed that the protein and carbohydrate levels met SNI standards. It was concluded that the addition of flour had a significant effect on color, taste, and nutritional content (P <0.05). Abstract

The maintenance of dental and oral health is often neglected by teenagers. Many bad habits of teenagers that can cause damage to the teeth and mouth, these bad habits include the habit of consuming sweet foods, drinking habits - sweet drinks and lazy habits of brushing your teeth at night. The results of the examination that the author conducted on 15 grade VIII students at SMPN 1 Darul Imarah, the average dental and oral hygiene was 3.3 with a poor category level. The results of interviews with 11 out of 15 students still did not know how to brush their teeth properly and correctly. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge of brushing teeth and the status of dental and oral hygiene in Class VIII Adolescents of SMPN 1 Darul Imarah Aceh Besar in 2022.This research is analytical with a cross sectional design, conducted at SMPN 1 Darul Imarah Aceh Besar District on 19-22 February 2022. The population in this study was 210 people. The sample in this study used a random sampling technique with a sample of 70 adolescents aged 13-14 years. Bivariate analysis looked at the relationship between knowledge of brushing teeth and oral hygiene status using the statistical test of 0.05.The results showed that the knowledge of brushing teeth with the most dental and oral hygiene status was in the moderate category as many as 20 people (28.6%), the knowledge of brushing teeth was not good with the most dental and oral hygiene status in the poor category as many as 23 people (32, 8%). It can be concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge of brushing teeth with dental and oral hygiene status in adolescents with a P Value: 0.01, it is recommended for adolescents to be more active in seeking information on social media about knowledge or maintenance of dental health such as brushing teeth properly and correctly so that avoid poor dental and oral hygiene status.

Abstract

Animated cartoons are media that contain a collection of images that are processed in such a way as to move and are equipped with audio so that they are memorable and store learning messages. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of counseling using animated cartoon media on dental and oral health knowledge. Based on the results of the initial data examination conducted on 15 students, the results obtained were 2 students with good knowledge, 2 students with moderate knowledge, and 11 students with less knowledge. This research method uses a Quasi Experiment One Group Pre test-Post test design. The population in this study were all fifth-grade students of SDN 2 Lamcot Aceh Besar totaling 30 respondents. The sampling technique used was the Total Sampling technique. This research was conducted on 12-18 May 2022. Data collection using a questionnaire. This study used the SPSS Paired Sample T-test and analyzed univariately and bivariate. Based on the results of the study, there were differences in the mean before and after the intervention with a difference in the mean value of 40.1. The results of statistical tests obtained a significance value of p = 0.000 (p = <0.05). The results of this analysis indicate that there is a significant difference between before and after counseling using animated cartoon media. It can be concluded that in this study there was an effect of counseling using animated cartoon media on dental and oral health knowledge of fifth-grade students at SDN 2 Lamcot Aceh Besar. It is recommended to teachers and health workers at the local health center use animated cartoon media in increasing students' dental and oral health knowledge.

Abstract

Economic status is the position of a person or family in society based on monthly income.  The socio-economic level can affect the degree of knowledge, lifestyle, and access to health information and services.  The socioeconomic level also affects the family's ability to meet the needs of food intake and healthy lifestyle habits.  Several factors involved in socioeconomic is work, income and education.  The initial examination of dental caries conducted by researchers on 15 people in Cureh Village found that 12 of them had high criteria, namely 5.1 and 3 d low criteria, namely 1.4.  The study aimed to determine the relationship between socioeconomic level and caries status in the community of Cureh Village, Indrapuri District, Aceh Besar Regency in 2022. This research is analytical with a cross-sectional design.  The population in this study is the entire Cureh village community, totalling 394 people.  The research sample was determined using a random sampling technique totalling 79 people.  The research was carried out in Cureh Village, Indrapuri District, Aceh Besar District on 5-10 January 2022. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires, diagnostic sets, and patient status cards. The results showed that with low income there was a high number of dental caries experienced by 32 respondents (52,45%).  The results of statistical tests obtained the results of p.  Value 0.001 indicates < α 0.05. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between socioeconomic level (income) and dental caries.  It is hoped that the community will increase knowledge by seeking information about dental health from information media such as posters, advertisements, television, magazines, and newspapers, and changing maintenance behaviour such as brushing teeth regularly and checking teeth every 6 months at the dentist or health centre and consuming nutritious and fibrous food.

Abstract

The development of technology has brought major changes in various aspects of life, including in education. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using technology in multilingual learning in primary schools, focusing on the implementation in Lhokseumawe City. A mixed methods approach was used. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, while qualitative data were analyzed using thematic analysis methods. The results showed that the use of technology in language learning had a positive impact on improving students' speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. The group of students who used technology experienced an average score increase of 15%, compared to an 8% increase in the group who learned with traditional methods. In addition, the use of gamification-based apps and e-learning increased students' motivation and engagement in learning. However, the main challenges faced were limited access to digital devices and internet connectivity, as well as a lack of training for teachers in optimizing technology in teaching. The conclusion of this study confirms that technology integration in multilingual learning can improve learning effectiveness, provided it is supported by adequate infrastructure and improved teacher competencies. Therefore, a comprehensive strategy is needed to overcome the existing constraints, including equal access to technology in primary schools and the development of a more adaptive digital-based curriculum.

Abstract

Writing plays a significant role in teaching and learning the English language, yet it is often regarded as a challenging skill to master. To produce a well-written piece, certain criteria must be met, including content, organization, vocabulary, grammar, and mechanics. Instructional media can be a valuable tool for teachers in facilitating writing instruction. This article explores the use of picture series as an instructional medium to enhance students' writing skills. Picture series are particularly effective because they are engaging and visually represent the chronological sequence of a text. The article reviews relevant theories, regulations, research, and practical applications in teaching writing. It also offers examples of different instructional media, emphasizes the benefits of using picture series to improve writing abilities, and provides a step-by-step guide on implementing picture series in the classroom. The goal of this article is to serve as a resource for teaching writing with picture series and to offer recommendations for future research and practice.
