Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the feasibility of flipbook media on biodiversity material based on the results of studies of ethnobotany of medicinal plants in the village of Seburing, Sambas regency, West Kalimantan and find out the types of plants in the village of Seburing that are used as medicine by the people of Seburing Village, Sambas Regency, Kalimantan West. This type of qualitative research, the method used is descriptive with the sampling technique using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. From the results of the study, there were 50 types of medicinal plants consisting of 30 families. The results of the study were then implemented in the form of flipbook media. The flipbook media was tested for feasibility by two lecturers of the Biology FKIP Untan education study program, two Biology high school class teachers, namely SMA 1 Semparuk and SMAN 1 Selatiga in Sambas Regency and one Biology teacher in grade X Senior High School in Pontianak City. Based on the validator's assessment, flipbook is included in the valid category with a total average value of 0.99 validation and is suitable for use as a learning medium on biodiversity material. This research is expected to be able to make the general public, especially the Seburing village community, to always preserve the environment, especially the preservation of plants. Keywords: flipbook, medicinal plants, Seburing Village

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to determine the feasibility of a documentary film as a learning medium on the Sub Material Concept of Genes, Species, and Ecosystems Diversity in the first grade of senior high school. This research was descriptive with sampling in the form of purposive sampling. This research was tested documentary film as a learning medium validated by 3 material experts and 3 media experts as a learning medium on the Sub Material Concept of Genes, Species, and Ecosystems Diversity. The material expert was a lecture of Biology Education FKIP Untan, and a teacher of Biology in senior high school in Mempawah District, while the media expert was a lecturer of Biology FKIP Untan, a lecture of PGRI University Adi Buana Surabaya, and CEO & Founder of MIP (IT & Passion Community). Based on the results of data analysis, an average total validation of 3.8 (valid) which shows documentary film media was appropriate to used. Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pembuatan media pembelajaran flipbook yang disajikan dari hasil inventarisasi tumbuhan obat dan untuk megetahui jenis tumbuhan obat yang dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat di  Desa Amboyo Inti Kecamatan Ngabang Kabupaten Landak. Untuk mengetahui kelayakannya sebagai media pembelajaran flipbook perlu divalidasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data triangulasi. Jumlah informan sebanyak 36 orang dengan karakteristik informan berdasarkan jenis kelamin, umur, pendidikan, dan pekerjaan. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan hasil tumbuhan obat yang diperoleh sebanyak 79 spesies dalam 43 famili yang dipercayai dapat menyembuhkan 58 macam penyakit. Validasi media flipbook tumbuhan obat di Desa Amboyo Inti divalidasi oleh 5 orang validator dan dianalisis berdasarkan tiga aspek yaitu format, bahasa, dan isi dinyatakan valid dengan rata-rata total validasi 3,77 pada submateri Manfaat Keanekaragaman Hayati. Kata kunci : invetarisasi, tumbuhan obat, Desa Amboyo Inti, flipbook Abstract: This thesis was intended to know the type of medical plants used by the people in the village of AmboyoIntiNgabang District of Procupine District. The results from this study were used for the creation of learning media flipbook. By showing flipbook to the students, it could help the students to know the type of plants used as medicine. Therefore, it was necessary to validate the flipbook to determine its feasibility as a learning tools. This research was a qualitative descriptive methods and the technique of data collection was triangulation. The sample of research were 36 people, categorized by sex, age, education, and employment. This research used descriptive analysis to analyze the data. It can be concluded the result of medical plants from 79 species in 43 families were accurate to cure 58 deseases. The validation of flipbook as media was assessed based on three aspects, such as: format, language, and content. Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to know the feasibility of wet-preserved media in the studying sub-material of plant-like protists (algae) for Senior High School tenth.The form of research was quantitative descriptive methods.Validation sheet was used as the instrument of research. Each statemen item is divided into categories Very Good is worth 4, Good is worth 3, Less Good is worth 2, and Not Good is worth 1. Based on the validator's assessment, the wet-preserved media wasdeclared valid with CVR and CVI values of 0,99, so that it was suitable tobe used as a learning mediain studying sub-material of plant-like protists (algae). The macroalgae wet-preserved media were validated by five validators consisting of three high school Biology teachers and two Biology education lecturers from FKIP Untan. Based on the validator's assessment, the wet-preserved media was declared valid with CVR and CVI values of 0,99 (valid), so that it was feasible to be used as a learning media in studying sub-material of plant-like protists (algae). Keywords: wet-preserved, learning media, plant-likeprotists (algae)

Abstract

 AbstractThis study aims to find out the feasibility of flash cards media in the benefits of biodiversity sub material for Senior High School tenth in Landak Regency. The method used in this study was qualitative research using the descriptive. Validation sheet was used as the instrument of research. Each statement item is divided into categories Very Good is worth 4, Good is worth 3, Less Good is worth 2, and Not Good is worth 1. Since the data is in qualitative form, then to calculate it needs to be converted into a quantitative form using the Lawshe formula. Validation results from the validator can be analyzed using Content Validity Ratio (CVR) analysis. The flashcards feasibility as a learning media was then being verified by two lecturers of Biology major in Faculty of Teachers Training and Education Tanjungpura University and three Biology teachers for Senior High School tenth grader from three high schools in Landak Regency. Based on the verifier assessments, the flashcards are valid with the total average validation value 0.99 and feasible to be used as learning media in the benefits of biodiversity sub material. Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to determine the feasibility of media flash cards. Medicinal plants used by  the Dayak community of Bakati  as specially in Sebente Village, Teriak Sub-district, Bengkayang Regency and  to up flash cards of learning media as an implementation of ethnobotany research. The feasibility of flash cards on evaluated as learning media in the submaterial of biodiversity in Senior High School Class X. The method used in this qualitative research was descriptive method by using purposive sampling technique sampling. Then the result information of this research was implemented as flash cards media. It was evaluated by two lecturers of Biology Education Program, FKIP, Tanjungpura University and three Biology teachers of Senior High School class X in their schools in the Bengkayang Regency. Based on validation test, flash cards was categorized valid with the score average was CVI 0,99  and it was suitable as learning media in submaterial of biodiversity. Keywords: Biodiversity, Media, Flash Cards, Feasibility

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research was to know the feasibility of booklet media on biodiversity material in class X SMA Sengah Temila Subdistrict. Sengah Temila Subdistrict was one of the subdistricts located in Landak District of West Kalimantan Province, Indonesia. Maked this booklet media aimed to facilitate the learning process and facilitate learners in find examples of plants and facilitate in recognizing the useful plants that are in the environment. This booklet contains useful plants in Paloan Village, Sengah Temila Subdistrict, Landak District. The research was a qualitative descriptive method and the technique of data collection, such as observation, and documentation. Testing of the validity / feasibility of booklet media was done by two lecturers of Biology Education Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of Tanjungpura University, one of biology teacher at SMAN 1 Sengah Temila, one biology teacher at SMA Berkat Bagi Bangsa and one of biology teacher of SMA Harapan Pahuman. The booklet media validation is analyzed based on three aspects was a format, language, and content are valid with an average total validation of 0.99 on the Biodiversity material. Keywords : booklet, biodiversity, Sengah Temila Subdistrict

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmengetahui kelayakan media flash flipbook pada submateri manfaat keanekaragaman hayati. Media flash flipbook diuji kelayakannya oleh ahli materi dan ahli media. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen validasi ahli.Penilaian oleh ahli materi terdiri dari 3 aspek yakni umum, pembelajaran, dan substansi materi. Penilaian oleh ahli media terdiri dari 4 aspek yakni umum, rekayasa lunak, komunikasi visual, dan komunikasi audio. Validator ahli materi terdiri dari dua orang dosen Pendidikan Biologi FKIP Untan dan tiga orang guru Biologi di Kecamatan Kembayan. Validator ahli media terdiri dari dua orang dosen Pendidikan Biologi FKIP Untan dan tiga orang guru TIK di Kecamatan Kembayan.Berdasarkan hasil analisis validasi, flash flipbook dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada submateri manfaat keanekaragaman hayati oleh ahli materi dan ahli media dengan nilai CVI 0,99. Kata kunci: Kelayakan, Flash Flipbook, Manfaat Keanekaragaman Hayati  Abstract: This research aimed to determine the feasibility of media flash flipbook on submaterial biodiversity benefit. This media flash flipbook then was tested for feasibility by material experts and media experts. The instruments which used were validation instrument experts. Assesment’s by material expert which consisted of three aspects there are general, learning, and material substantial. Assesment’s by media expert which consisted of four aspects there are general, soft movement, visual communication, and audio communication. The material experts were two lecturers form Biology Education Study Program in Teaching Training and Education Faculty, Tanjungpura University and three biology teachers of tenth grade of three different schools in Kembayan district. Media experts were two lecturers from in Teaching Training and Education Faculty, Tanjungpura University and three Information Technology and Communication teachers of grade tenth of three different schools in Kembayan district. Based on the result of the validation analysis, media flash flipbook was validated feasible to be used as introduction media on submaterial biodiversity benefit by material experts and media experts with CVI score 0,99. Abstract

This research is aimed to determine the effectivity of cooperative learning model through Numbered Heads Together (NHT) by visual media on students’ achievement in material life organization of VII grade SMP Rehoboth. The research is quasi experimental design, with nonequivalen control group design. The research samples are VIIa and VIIb grade. The technique of data collecting is by using random sampling. The average score of the students’ achievement that has been teach by using Numbered Heads Together (NHT) of cooperative learning model with visual media is 14,89 as higher than the conventional model of 11,29. The t-test in standard 5%  shows tcount= 5,023 bigger than its comparation to ttable = 1,679, it means there is a significant difference in the post-test result.  The counting of effect size is 1,27 it includes high, so the concluded that Numbered Heads Together (NHT) of cooperative learning model with visual media gave 39,80% of contribution on students’ achievement.Key words : Numbered heads together, visual media.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan Problem Based Instruction (PBI) terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada sub materi kelainan dan penyakit padasistem reproduksi manusia di kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Sintang. Metode penelitian yang digunakanadalah eksperimen dengan bentuk penelitian quasyeksperimen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas IXG (kelas eksperimen)dan IXD (kelas kontrol). Hasil analisis datamenunjukkan rata-rata skor hasil belajar siswa yangdiajarkan dengan PBI adalah 8,23 lebih tinggi dibandingkan menggunakanmodel pembelajaran konvensional yaitu 6,37. Hasil uji UMann-Whitney diperoleh Zhitung<-Ztabel(-2,95<-1,96), artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara skorrata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol padataraf 5%.Kata Kunci: Modelpembelajaran Problem Based Instruction,hasil belajarAbstract: This research purpose is to know the students achievement through the application of Problem Based Instruction (PBI) model on ninth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Sintang on the human reproduction system material.
