Abstract

This study aims to describe the types of ikhtilaf that occur in the interpretation of the Qur'an based on the factors that cause the ikhtilaf and its position in Islamic law. This study uses a qualitative method with a content analysis approach. The results of this study indicate that based on the causal factors, ikhtilaf consists of: ikhtilaf based on the text (tafsir bi al-ma'ṡūr) and ikhtilaf based on other than the text (tafsir bi al-ra'yi). Ikhtilaf based on the text tends to be varied (ikhtilāf tanawwu'), reflecting flexibility and the ability to adapt in the application of Islamic law according to various contexts and situations. In contrast, ikhtilaf based on other than the text is often contradictory (ikhtilāf taḍāḍ), indicating that there is room for ijtihad and diverse interpretations in complex situations. However, due to its contradictory nature, this ikhtilāf often requires a deeper resolution to reach consensus or at least tolerance of the differences.

Abstract

Infidelity in marriage is a serious issue that can damage family harmony and negatively impact the well-being of individuals and society. This study aims to analyze the causes behind the increasing cases of infidelity in Indonesia, as well as the role of fatherhood in preventing it. The research employs a literature review method with a qualitative descriptive approach, covering psychological, sociological, and religious theories regarding family and the role of fathers. The findings of this study indicate that infidelity is often triggered by poor communication within the household, an inability to fulfill the role of a husband, and the influence of social media, which opens opportunities for relationships outside of marriage. The concept of fatherhood, emphasizing the father’s role as a leader, protector, and educator within the family, proves to strengthen family structure and prevent infidelity. This research recommends the strengthening of family education, fostering the role of fathers, and closer supervision of technology use in marital relationships. The findings have important implications for educational institutions, society, and the government in developing programs that can reinforce family values and reduce the incidence of infidelity.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to: (i) evaluate the trainees’s satisfaction on trainers and training performance; (ii) evaluate learning gain or improvement of trainees’s skills, knowledge, and attitude after training; and (iii) know the significant obstacles that can reduce the effectiveness of training. This research used the Kirkpatrick Evaluation Model Level 1 and 2 through questionnaire, interview, and descriptive statistics method and IPA Model. The results reveal that: (1) The overall aspect of the implementation evaluation was assessed by participants in the very good category although it could not meet the level of expectations of participants. On the other hand, the trainers aspect has been able to meet the expectations of participants where the overall level of trainers performance has been assessed by participants and entered into the category of very good; (2) The evaluation component of the implementation for PJJ Penyuluh Perpajakan cannot be considered as a whole where the aspects/components of evaluation are spread in Quadrants I, II and III; (3) All participants get satisfactory scores so that it can be said that the participants have gained additional knowledge, skills, and attitudes after attending the training; (4) In the aspect of organizing, participants generally complain about inadequate internet network quality in some areas. Meanwhile, in the trainer aspect, in general participants give input so that the teachers can multiply the practice and games related to training materials.

Abstract

This study aims to measure students' perceptions of the smartphone usage restriction policy implemented by the campus. The research employs a quantitative approach with a survey method and is analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The findings indicate that the majority of students hold a positive view of the policy, with most respondents agreeing that it helps them maintain discipline, stay focused on their studies, reduce time spent on less productive activities such as gaming and social media, and enhance their interaction with the campus environment. The policy is also considered effective in supporting better character development among students. The implications of these findings suggest that smartphone usage restrictions can be an effective tool for improving the quality of education and character formation in higher education settings.

Abstract

This research is to determine the training and development processes and methods carried out by Dompet Dhuafa Riau. This is important to study because training and development can improve employee performance significantly for current and future needs. This research uses qualitative methods with interview techniques with the managers of Dompet Dhuafa Riau. The selection of managers as key informants was based on their strategic role, who had a deep understanding of the performance strengthening and employee development programs implemented at this institution. Through this interview, it is hoped that relevant and comprehensive information regarding human resource management practices and strategies in Dompet Dhuafa Riau can be obtained. The research results show that the employee training and development program carried out by Dompet Dhuafa Riau has proven to be effective and efficient. The positive impact of this program can be seen in improving the quality of services to the community, the successful implementation of empowerment programs, and strengthening the position of Dompet Dhuafa Riau as an institution based on Islamic values. Apart from that, this program also encourages sustainable Islamic human resource development, creating employees who are more competent and committed to carrying out the community empowerment mission more effectively and efficientlyKeywords; Training and Development, Performance Enhancement, Sustainable Islamic Human Resource Development ABSTRAKPenelitian ini untuk mengetahui proses dan metode pelatihan dan pengembangan yang dilakukan oleh Dompet Dhuafa Riau. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara terhadap manajer Dompet Dhuafa Riau. Pemilihan manajer sebagai informan kunci didasarkan pada peran strategisnya yang memiliki pemahaman mendalam mengenai program penguatan kinerja dan pengembangan karyawan yang diterapkan di lembaga ini. Melalui wawancara ini, diharapkan dapat diperoleh informasi yang relevan dan komprehensif terkait praktik serta strategi pengelolaan sumber daya manusia di Dompet Dhuafa Riau. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program pelatihan dan pengembangan karyawan yang dilakukan oleh Dompet Dhuafa Riau telah terbukti efektif dan efisien. Dampak positif dari program ini terlihat pada peningkatan kualitas pelayanan kepada masyarakat, keberhasilan pelaksanaan program pemberdayaan, dan penguatan posisi Dompet Dhuafa Riau sebagai lembaga berbasis nilai-nilai Islam. Abstract

Each ethnic group certainly has different characteristics that have become embedded in their cultural identity, including the Acehnese ethnic group. Being in a different area from their area of origin certainly makes Acehnese people need to express their identity as Acehnese so that their Acehnese identity is still maintained. Therefore, this research aims to describe the form of cultural identity of the Acehnese in Padang City and the meaning of the cultural identity of the Acehnese in Padang City. This research uses Helbert Blumer's Symbolic Interactionism theory. The method used is a qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that up to now, among the Acehnese who have migrated to the city of Padang, their cultural identity as Acehnese is still maintained and maintained through the expression of their cultural identity that they do every day, both in the family and in the social environment. This form of expression of cultural identity is shown through the use of the Acehnese language, the use of traditional clothing, carrying out Acehnese customs and Acehnese culture. Each form of expression of cultural identity has an important meaning for the Acehnese so that everyone voluntarily continues to express their cultural identity as Acehnese in Padang City.Setiap etnis tentunya memiliki cirikhas yang berbeda yang telah melekat menjadi identitas kultur mereka, termasuk pada etnis Aceh. berada di daerah yang berbeda dengan daerah Asal tentunya membuat orang Aceh perlu untuk mengekspresikan identitasnya sebagai orang Aceh agar identitas keacehan mereka masih terjaga. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk identitas kultural orang Aceh yang ada di Kota Padang serta makna identitas kultural orang Aceh di Kota Padang. Penelitian ini mengunakan teori Interaksionisme Simbolik Helbert Blumer. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sampai saat ini dikalangan orang Aceh yang merantau di Kota Padang, identitas kultural mereka sebagai orang Aceh masih terus dipertahankan dan dijaga melalui ekspresi identitas kultural yang dilakukannya sehari-hari baik di lingkungan keluarga maupun di lingkungan sosial. Bentuk ekspresi identitas kultural tersebut ditunjukkan melalui penggunaan bahasa Aceh, penggunaan pakaian adat, melaksanakan Adat istiadat Aceh serta kebudayaan Aceh. Setiap bentuk ekspresi identitas kultural tersebut memiliki makna yang penting bagi orang Aceh sehingga setiap orang secara sukarela terus mengekspresikan identitas kultural mereka sebagai orang Aceh di Kota Padang.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) analyze the factors that cause differences in the determination of the beginning of fajr prayer time; (2) analyze the relevance of the determination of fajr ṣādiq as the beginning of fajr prayer time with the basic principles of Islamic law. This research is qualitative descriptive research using library research methods with normative of sharia and philosophical approach. The results of the study found several things. First, the difference in setting the schedule of fajr prayer is due to differences in the determination of the criteria of the elevation of the sun under the horizon and differences in interpreting the meaning of the naṣ and terms related to the time of fajr prayer, such as fajr, galas, isfār, tabayyun and others. Second, the basic principle in determining the beginning of the time of fajr prayer based on the perspective of Sharia is that the fajr prayer is determined by the signs that are believed, so that the criteria for the appearance of fajr ṣādiq are set at the unquestioned elevation of the sun and with signs that are ḥissiyah (observable with five senses) in accordance with maqāṣid al-taysīr that can be understood and observed by every Muslim. This study contributes to the studies related to determining the start of prayer times. The results of this study provide recommendation in the form of determining the angle of fajr ṣādiq at the criterion between -18º and iḥtiyāṭ 2 minutes or -17.5º, as a precautionary measure, so that the polemic that occurs in the community regarding prayer time schedules is expected to be reduced or even resolved.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) analyze the effect of implementing tarbiyah rūhiyah on akhlāqul karīmah in Makassar STIBA students; (2) analyze the effect of implementing tarbiyah ṡaqāfiyah on akhlāqul karīmah in Makassar STIBA students; and (3) analyzing the influence of the implementation of jasadiyah tarbiyah on akhlāqul karīmah in Makassar STIBA students. This study uses data obtained from respondents through questionnaires and a quantitative approach through the component-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique or variant with Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that: (1) the implementation of tarbiyah rūhiyah had a positive and significant effect on akhlāqul karīmah for STIBA Makassar students; (2) the implementation of tarbiyah ṡaqāfiyah has a positive and significant effect on the akhlāqul karīmah of STIBA Makassar students; and (3) the implementation of tarbiyah jasadiyah has a positive and significant effect on akhlāqul karīmah for STIBA Makassar students. Therefore, as a policy recommendation, fostering student akhlāqul karīmah in tertiary institutions can be carried out through the Islamic tarbiyah program as an extracurricular activity. The application of student akhlāqul karīmah coaching can be done through integration into the lecture process. Interventions for the implementation of the Islamic tarbiyah program in tertiary institutions can be applied by making rules and signs for akhlāqul karīmah both on campus and outside the campus

Abstract

Citizenship is a legal status connecting individuals to a country, encompassing rights, obligations, identity, and protection. This study evaluates the impact of citizenship status on economic access and socio-economic inequality in Indonesia, focusing on disparities in well-being and economic opportunities. The research employs a normative legal method with approaches including legislation, case studies, conceptual, historical, and comparative analyses. The results show that citizenship inequality creates significant gaps in income, quality of life, and access to services. Individuals with full citizenship have better access to jobs and education compared to those with limited citizenship or no citizenship. This study recommends more inclusive policy reforms to reduce inequality and improve access for individuals with limited citizenship. The findings aim to assist academics and policymakers in designing strategies to enhance community well-being.

Abstract

Zakat, as one of the pillars of Islam, plays an important role in improving the welfare of the community, particularly in creating economic independence for mustahik (zakat recipients). Although zakat is generally used to meet the basic needs of mustahik, this consumptive approach is considered insufficient for sustainably empowering mustahik. Therefore, this study aims to identify and analyze zakat management programs that can support economic empowerment of the community, with a focus on creating independence for mustahik. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical design. The results show that effective zakat management programs include the establishment of microenterprises, skills training, provision of business capital, mentoring in small business management, and educational assistance. The recommendations from this study emphasize the importance of applying transparency and accountability principles in zakat management to ensure that zakat is distributed to the right recipients and provides maximum benefits for mustahik, while also encouraging the transformation of mustahik into muzakki (zakat payers).
