Abstract

High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) creative thinking, science process skills and digital literacy of students are important components in learning, especially learning physics. The purpose of this study was to find out how High Order Thinking Skills creative thinking, science process skills and digital literacy of students at SMAN 8 Muaro Jambi. The data collection instrument used a question sheet for HOTS creative thinking, an observation sheet for science process skills and a questionnaire for digital literacy. The data analysis in this study was quantitative using descriptive statistics and qualitative using Miles & Huberman. The results of the data obtained are then grouped using a Likert scale. The flow of this research is to prepare instruments and interview sheets, conduct interviews with teachers and students, distribute instruments, analyze data and obtain data results. The results of this study are HOTS, KPS and digital literacy in class X MIPA 5 are greater than X MIPA 3 with successive values in class X MIPA 5 are 80.25, 83.20 and 72.87 while class X MIPA 3 is 80.69, 85.40 and 74.81. So from these data it can be seen that the ability of students to think creatively increases in line with science process skills and digital literacy and vice versa. Science process skills help improve students' creative thinking skills by using practicum-based learning. Digital literacy helps students to get various kinds of physics learning resources, materials, modules, questions and exercises. Digital literacy also helps students to do online practicum by utilizing digital media and the web. So that the creative thinking skills, science process skills and digital literacy skills of students influence each other.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find the differences and relationships between student responses, student character, and student attitudes towards the inquiry learning model for physics subjects. The contribution given in this study is useful if the student's response to learning is not good then there are problems in the learning taught by the teacher so that the teacher can improve better teaching techniques. This study uses mixed research methods designed with an explanatory design which is a combination of two methods, namely quantitative and qualitative research methods. The results of the t-test and correlation test of student variables, student character, and student responses can be said to be good but need to be improved optimally so that these variables are beneficial to students. The conclusion of this study is that there is a comparison and influence between students, student characters, and student responses at State Senior High School (SMA) 10 Jambi City on the inquiry learning model in physics subjects. The implication of this research is very important, namely the short-term impact of this research is useful and can be used as a benchmark to improve the quality of student responses, student character, and student attitudes, especially at the high school level.

Abstract

Science process skills and critical thinking are skills that are very important and must be possessed by students in the 21st century. The purpose of this study is to determine the scientific process and critical thinking skills in terms of gender and see whether there is a relationship between science process skills and critical thinking skills. student. This is because the researcher wants to see a comparison of the abilities of male and female students. This research is a type of quantitative research with a research design. The population of this study were students of SMAN 6 Batanghari and the samples used were students of class A and class B, totaling 80 students with a ratio of 50 female students and 30 male students. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling with the criteria of students who are in Accredited Schools A and Class XII students who have studied the latest direct material. The search instrument used was an observation sheet and a critical reflectance test sheet. The data analysis used is descriptive statistical analysis and deductive analysis. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the science process skills and critical thinking skills of female students are higher than male students. besides that there is a high and positive relationship between students' critical thinking skills and students' critical thinking skills. Based on these results, this research can be useful for teachers, namely so that teachers can carry out learning that can develop and improve science process skills so that students' critical thinking skills can also increase. In addition, the benefits for students themselves are so that students are accustomed to using skills in the learning process and can provide critical solutions in solving problems.

Abstract

Perception is influenced by several factors, one of which is biological factors such as gender. Gender is closely related to how different decisions are made between women and men. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that there are differences in the level of perception for each class which has two different genders, namely female and male. From the Anova table, it is found that the significance is smaller than 0.05 which indicates that both men and women have an average difference in perception about the product in the form of an e-module of Physics-Mathematics with double integral material.

Abstract

Each student has different abilities in understanding physics lessons because the concepts of physics are both constructive and abstract. This research was conducted to determine the level of understanding of students' concepts and the relationship between students' responses to the use of four tier instruments. The research method used is a mixed method with an exploratory design. The research subjects were students of class XI IPA SMAN Titian Teras H. Abdurrahman Sayoeti. The sampling technique is probability sampling. Data collection was carried out qualitatively and quantitatively using material expert validation sheets, four tier diagnostic tests and student response questionnaires. Qualitative data analysis techniques with assessment of material expert validation sheets and quantitative data with correlation test. The results of data processing obtained that the validator's assessment of the four tiers was 91.25% in the very good category, the correlation test was carried out between the questionnaire and the instrument, the significance result was 0.000 and the Pearson correlation was 0.753, which means it has a strong relationship and its use is responded well by students, the percentage is 97%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of student learning activeness on students' attitudes in science subjects in junior high schools in Jambi City. The research method used is a mixed research method with an explanatory design. The population in this study were all students of junior high school18 Jambi City, junior high 21 Jambi City, and students of junior high school 24 Jambi City. The number of samples used was 250 students. The research data were obtained by distributing a questionnaire on student learning and attitude questionnaires in science subjects, as well as conducting interviews with students. Furthermore, the data were analyzed quantitatively by type simple regression as well as with inferential statistics. The results showed that student learning activeness influenced attitudes in science subjects with a contribution of 15.2% influence while the remaining 84.8% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study, hereinafter referred to as intervening variables. Furthermore, from the calculation of the t-test values obtained t arithmetic greater than t table (20 299 1.650971), which means Ha (accepted) or there is an influence on the attitudes of students' learning activeness in science subjects. From the results of this effect, the regression equation is obtained, namely Y = 111.113 + 0.334x. So it can be concluded that if students have good learning activeness, then students will also show a good attitude in learning, especially in learning science.
