Abstract

This research focused on the low learning outcomes of Natural Science students in class V.. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the Tri Hita Karana oriented PBL model on the learning outcomes of the fifth grade Natural Science students. The sample in this study amounted to 56 students. In this study, data were collected using a test technique using an objective test instrument with multiple choice forms which had previously been analyzed for the quality of eligibility by testing the validity, reliability, distinguishing features, and level of difficulty. The data that has been obtained is then analyzed using t-test. Based on the results of the t-test analysis, T-count = 5.42, while the value of T-table at a significant level of 5% with degrees of freedom 28 + 28 - 2 = 54 is 1.67. Based on T-count = 5.42 > T-table = 1.67 then H0 is rejected. The results of the analysis prove that there are significant differences between the groups of students who are taught with the Tri Hita Karana oriented Problem Based Learning model with groups of students who are taught with conventional learning models. From the results of the t-test analysis and the average learning outcomes it can be concluded that The Tri Hita Karana oriented Problem Based Learning model has a positive effect on the Natural Science learning outcomes of Class V students. Therefore, the Tri Hita Karana oriented Problem Based Learning model is suitabel for dealing with low Natural Science learning outcome

Abstract

In online learning, teachers need media assistance in the learning process. Therefore, it was necessary to assist the development of media in the form of graphic video media. This study aimed to develop graphic video media and determine the validity of video graphic media. The data generated in this study were qualitative and quantitative. This research was development research carried out using the ADDIE model. The subjects of this study were 2 media experts, 2 design experts, 2 material experts, 1 teacher or practitioner, and 12 students. Data collection in this study used a questionnaire/questionnaire method. The data obtained were then analyzed using the Aiken validation index formula to determine the average validation of video graphic media. The development of graphic video media was declared valid with the overall Aiken validity index by the lowest expert 0.5 and the highest 1, practitioner or teacher reviews having a percentage of 98%, and overall student reviews having a percentage of 94%. Thus, graphic video media on the topic of alternative energy and its utilization that had been developed can be used as learning media to help students understand the subject matter, especially alternative energy materials and their use in online learning.

Abstract

COVID-19 pandemic has caused chaos in various field such as economic, social, tourism and many more. One of the fields that affected to it is in the field of education. The government requires schools in Indonesia to carry out online learning activities from home. This policy certainly raises various problems not only for students but also for teacher, many teachers faced problems during the online learning. This research was conducted to find out the problems experienced by elementary school teachers in online learning during the pandemic.  The method of research carried out by the researchers is descriptive research, with a population of 25,524 elementary school teachers in Bali, and the research samples were taken from 994 teachers.  The data collection method used is the Guttman Scale questionnaire with quantitative descriptive analysis method.  The result of the research shows that teachers experience problems in all dimensions, such as the communication dimension with 65%, the learning method dimension 52%, the assessment dimension 61%, the technology use dimension 43%, the network dimension 52%, the dimensions of the cost of cellular internet data 52% and problems in online learning in 74%. It can be concluded that elementary school teachers faced the problems in all of dimentions such as communication dimension, the learning method dimension, the assessment dimension, the technology use dimension, the network dimension, the dimensions of the cost of cellular internet data also problems in online learning.

Abstract

The Pancasila student profile is a description of the competencies that Indonesian students must have. This study aims to analyze the impact of project-based assessment with a phenomenon-based learning approach on achieving the Pancasila student profile in elementary school students. This research is experimental research using a quantitative approach. The research design used in this study was a nonequivalent post-test only control group design. The populations in this study were elementary school students spread across various regions, namely rural, suburban and urban areas. Determining the number of samples in this study was carried out using the Slovin formula with an error tolerance limit of 3%. Furthermore, sampling in this research was carried out using cluster random sampling techniques. Based on the results of the Independent Sample T-Test analysis using the IBM SPSS Statistics 21.0 for Windows program, a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) was obtained of 0.000. Based on these results, it can be seen that the Sig. < 0.05. So, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. In other words, there is a significant difference in the achievement of the Pancasila student profile in the group that was given treatment in the form of a project-based assessment with a phenomenon-based learning approach and those who were not treated in the form of a project-based assessment with a phenomenon-based learning approach. Thus, the use of project-based assessment with a phenomenon-based learning approach is effective in increasing students' achievement of the Pancasila Student Profile indicators.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Discovery Learning berbantuan media audio visual terhadap motivasi dan minat belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) pada siswa kelas IV SD Gugus 4 Kecamatan Karangasem. Discovery Learning adalah metode pembelajaran yang meningkatkan cara belajar siswa agar lebih aktif dengan cara mencari maupun menemukan pengetahuannya sendiri melalui kegiatan pengamatan maupun percobaan yang dilakukan dalam proses pembelajaran dan lebih ditemukannya konsep atau prinsip yang sebelumnya tidak diketahui oleh siswa. Penelitian ini berjenis kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi-eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pre-test dan post-test. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelompok yang diambil melalui Teknik random sampling, yaitu kelompok eksperimen yang menerima pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode Pembelajaran discovery learning berbantuan media audio visual dan kelompok kontrol yang menerima pembelajaran konvensional. Pengukuran motivasi dan minat belajar IPAS dilakukan sebelum dan setelah intervensi menggunakan instrumen yang valid dan reliabel. Kemudian data dari hasil penelitian dilakukan analisis data dengan berbantuan SPSS versi 20.00. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Model Pembelajaran discovery learning memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap motivasi dan minat belajar siswa yaitu sebesar  0,001 < 0,5. Kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi dan minat belajar yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensionalKata Kunci: model discovery learning, motivasi belajar, minat belajar IPASABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the effect of the Discovery Learning Learning Model assisted by audio-visual media on the motivation and interest in learning Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) in grade IV students of Elementary School Cluster 4, Karangasem District. Discovery Learning is a learning method that improves students' learning methods to be more active by seeking or finding their own knowledge through observation or experimental activities carried out in the learning process and discovering concepts or principles that were previously unknown to students. This study is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design. The data collection technique in this study used pre-test and post-test. The research sample consisted of two groups, namely the experimental group that received learning using the Discovery Learning method assisted by audio-visual media and the control group that received conventional learning. Measurement of motivation and interest in learning IPAS was carried out before and after the intervention using valid and reliable instruments. The results of this study indicate that the Discovery Learning Learning Model has a significant effect on students' motivation and interest in learning, namely 0.001 <0.5. Abstract

Rendahnya efikasi diri dan minat belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPAS menyebabkan kurang berhasilnya proses pembelajaran di kelas. Kegiatan pembelajaran menjadi pasif dan monoton. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisi model pembelajaran Group Investigation pada pembelajaran IPAS terhadap efikasi diri dan minat belajar siswa kelas IV SD. Penelitian ini berjenis eksperimen semu yang menggunakan rancangan pretest-posttest control group design. Sebanyak 205 siswa yang menjadi populasi penelitian yang berasal dari siswa Kelas IV SD. Sebanyak 99 siswa yang dipilih menjadi sampel melalui teknik  random sampling. Pengumpulan data penelitian, digunakan metode non-tes berupa kuisioner. Analisis data diperoleh melalui analisis Anava dan Manova. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Group Investigation dalam Pembelajaran IPAS terhadap peningkatan efikasi diri siswa kelas IV SD. Kedua, terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Group Investigation dalam Pembelajaran IPAS terhadap peningkatan minat belajar siswa kelas IV SD. Ketiga, terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Group Investigation dalam pembelajaran IPAS terhadap peningkatan efikasi diri dan minat belajar siswa kelas IV SD. Simpulan penelitian yaitu terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model Group Investigation terhadap efikasi diri dan minat belajar IPAS siswa secara simultan pada siswa kelas IV.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang ditemukan di lapangan berkaitan dengan kemampuan dalam berbahasa Inggris pada siswa sekolah dasar. Terdapat empat sekolah yang diobservasi pada tahap awal, dan semua sekolah mengalami permasalahan yang sama, berkaitan dengan kemampuan speaking dan listening siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis media audio visual berbasis pembelajaran metakognitif berbantuan podcast. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD pada siswa kelas V (lima) yang berjumlah 24 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi dan kuisioner. Jenis data pada penelitian ini yaitu data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, hasil analisis kepraktisan media audio visual berbasis pembelajaran metakognitif berbantuan podcast ini menunjukkan kualifikasi baik dengan pencapaian sebesar 88, 43%. Selain itu indeks validitas media sebesar 0,875 dengan kualifikasi tinggi, materi pada isi media audio visual berbasis pembelajaran metakognitif berbantuan podcast berada pada kualifikasi tinggi, sebesar 0,858. Simpulan penelitian menunjukka pengembangan media audio visual berbasis pembelajaran metakognitif berbantuan podcast ini dinyatakan valid dan dapat membantu meningkatkan kemampuan speaking dan listening siswa sekolah dasar pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris kelas V (lima). Implikasi penelitian ini yaitu media pembelajaran audio visual ini dapat membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan siswa di lapangan, khususnya berkenaan dengan kemampuan speaking dan listening siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

The learning activities of Grade VI students at SD Negeri 2 Tri Eka Buana in mathematics are lacking and tend to be very passive. This can be seen from the absence of students' responses when asked questions, many students seem not interested in working on the questions given and there are still many students who are indifferent. The purpose of carrying out this PTK is to find out whether the application of PBL is able to improve learning activities and student learning outcomes. This research is a PTK type which involves one class. This research was conducted in two cycles where each cycle has the same activity stages, namely Planning, Implementation, Observation and Reflection. The subjects of this study were class VI students in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 school year with a total of 21 students consisting of 7 boys and 14 girls. The classical completeness criterion in mathematics is 65%. Data collection techniques used: (1) Observation sheets of student activity when giving action through observation. (2) Data on students' mathematics learning outcomes were obtained from the learning outcomes test cycle 1 and cycle 2 after being given treatment. The results of this study show that: (1) There was an increase in students' learning activities in the mathematics learning process in cycle 1. Student activity increased by 62.5% in cycle 2 to 70% included in the active category. (2) Student learning outcomes have increased, where cycle 1 reaches 61.9% or 15 students can achieve learning mastery at moderate criteria and in cycle 2 it increases to 76.2% or 18 students achieve learning mastery with high criteria . So it can be concluded that the application of the PBL model is able to increase learning activities and learning outcomes of students in mathematics class VI SD.

Abstract

Kemampuan literasi siswa rendah terutama pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia materi mendongeng. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan aktivitas pembelajaran mendongeng berbantuan media wayang kertas berbasis nilai-nilai Tri Hita Karana. Jenis penelian pengembangan model 4-D. Subjek penelitian yaitu 4 ahli aktivitas pembelajaran. Subjek uji coba yaitu 26 siswa. Populasi berjumlah 137 orang. Metode pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, studi dokumentasi, kuesioner, dan tes. Instrumen penelitian yaitu rating scale. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif kualitatif, kuantitatif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian yaitu hasil penilaian validasi isi aktivitas pembelajaran 4.0< X ≤ 5.0 sehingga memiliki kualifikasi sangat baik. Hasil uji hipotesis I yaitu koefisien F sebesar 11,133 sehingga terdapat perbedaan kemampuan metakognitif. Hasil hipotesis II yaitu koefisien F sebesar 6,648 sehingga terdapat perbedaan literasi budaya. Hasil hipotesis III yaitu bahwa koefisien F sebesar 6,964 sehingga terdapat perbedaan secara simultan literasi budaya dan kemampuan metakognitif. Disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas pembelajaran mendongeng dengan menerapkan pembelajaran berbantuan media pembelajaran wayang kertas dapat meningkatkan literasi budaya dan kemampuan metakognitif.

Abstract

This study aims to find out: (1) whether the critical thinking skills of students who follow flipped classroom-based classroom management are better than students who follow conventional classroom management, (2) whether the learning outcomes of students who follow flipped classroom-based classroom management are better than students who follow conventional classroom management, (3) whether critical thinking skills and learning outcomes simultaneously between students who Following Flipped Classroom-based classroom management is better than students following conventional classroom management. This research is a pseudo-experimental research with a post-test only control group design. The data were analyzed using the Manova test with a significance level of 5%. The experimental results showed that: (1) the critical thinking skills of students who followed flipped classroom-based classroom management were better than students who followed conventional classroom management, (2) the learning outcomes of students who followed flipped classroom-based classroom management were better than students who followed conventional classroom management, (3) critical thinking skills and learning outcomes simultaneously between students who followed classroom management Flipped classroom-based is better than students who follow conventional classroom management. This is because students who take part in flipped classroom-based classroom management are more enthusiastic about following the learning process in class because they have previously studied the material in their respective home learning videos. Students are also trained to re-express their understanding with group discussions.
