Abstract

Disaster mitigation require to be supported by information and data regarding the condition of local society characteristic and area. The available of correct information and data, expected can maximize usage of local resource, including labour, organization and material. One of the partisipative data collecting method able to be used to dig catastrophic society perception and understanding of tsunami is Focus Group Discussion ( FGD). Participant one of the important element in FGD, so that participant composition can influence attainment result of FGD. This research aim to know society characteristic and condition to formulate FGD participant criterion and composition in tsunami disaster mitigation. This Research type is descriptive research with approach qualitative, while primary data collecting use partisipative observation technique where researcher follow to involve and at the same time perceive FGD simulation execution. Discussant which uppermost enough is them owning catastrophic understanding and knowledge of tsunami nature, where this matter is influenced life experience or relate to its work responsibility. Several things which need to be paid attention in chosening and determining discussant: 1) education and age vary to start from student age until the old man with mean 35 year, 2) do not predominate by age, certain work or education, 3) if education of [him/ it] lower to be expected to have experience which enough or which is its old age, 4) entangling woman participant owning catastrophic understanding and knowledge of tsunami, 5) having work or got mixed up with interconnected activity or relate to natural disaster handling.

Abstract

Sepeda motor banyak dipilih masyarakat sebagai moda transportasi. Untuk itu diperlukan komponen-komponen sepeda motor yang aman digunakan bagi pengendara. Footstep holder merupakan komponen yang mempunyai fungsi untuk memegang pijakan footstep pengendara sepeda motor. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa berbagai pembebanan pada footstep holder menggunakan pemodelan dengan bantuan software Autodesk Inventor Professional 2013. Berbagai pembebanan dilakukan pada pemodelan dengan berbagai kondisi. Pembebanan tersebut meliputi pembebanan dengan kondisi pengendara duduk dengan kaki bertumpu pada footstep, pengendara berdiri pada footstep, motor jatuh kesamping, footstep tertabrak dari belakang, footstep tertabrak dari depan dan motor djatuh kesamping dengan dinaiki dua pengendara. Hasil yang didapat setelah dilakukan analisa dalam berbagai kondisi secara berturut-turut adalah tegangan von mises yaitu 9,298MPa, 32,54MPa, 233,7MPa, 246,022MPa, 203MPa, 468,9MPa, yang kedua defleksi yaitu 0,00829mm, 0,02905mm,0,6159mm, 0,616mm, 0,592mm, 1,32mm  dan yang ketiga faktor keamanan yaitu diatas 15, 8,45, 1,18, 1,12, 1,35, 0,59. Pada pembebanan dengan kondisi motor jatuh kesamping dengan dinaiki dua pengendara beresiko besar terhadap patahnya footstep holder dengan tegangan von mises 468,9MPa dan mempunyai faktor keamanan yang rendah 0,59 dengan defleksi 1,32mm

Abstract

Simulasi pemodelan arus pasang surut dilakukan dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak DHI MIKE 21 Flow Model FM untuk menentukan pola arus pasang surut di teluk Jakarta tepatnya diarea sekitar dermaga Angkatan laut Pondokdayung. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan dua studi kasus yaitu pertama studi kasus area terdapat Breakwater dan kedua studi kasus area tanpa Breakwater. Pemodelan dilakukan selama 29 hari melalui proses pengolahan data serta running program pada bulan Juni - Juli 2009. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tipe pasang surut di area sekitar dermaga Angkatan Laut Pondokdayung yaitu harian tunggal dengan kondisi arus pada saat pasang adalah bergerak ke arah selatan (menuju pantai) sedangkan pada saat surut bergerak ke utara (menuju laut). Kecepatan arus di sekitar dermaga dengan kondisi tanpa breakwater yang dihasilkan yaitu kecepatan minimum 0.000474m/s, kecepatan maksimum 0.284475m/s dan kecepatan rata-rata 0.082768m/s. sedangkan Kecepatan arus di sekitar dermaga dengan kondisi terdapat breakwater yang dihasilkan yaitu kecepatan minimum 0.000733m/s, kecepatan maksimum 0.262460m/s dan kecepatan rata-rata 0.067088m/s.

Abstract

Lembaga Bimbingan Belajar (LBB) membutuhkan pelayanan yang terintegrasi untuk menjaga kepuasan siswanya.Sasaran bimbingan belajar adalah mulai dari siswa SD dengan variasi paket program dan biaya disetiap lokasi / cabang.Dalam upaya memenuhi kepuasan siswanya, lembaga harus mampu mengelola sumber dayanya. Rentang pengelolaansumber daya yang cukup luas dan kurang adanya standarisasi operasional, pengembangan paket aplikasinya kurangmemenuhi kebutuhan user. Terintegrasinya semua unit LBB dan dengan mengakses informasi yang sama akan memangkaskertas kerja sekaligus dapat meningkatkan layanan lembaga.Penerapan system ERP membantu mengintegrasikan informasi yang ada mencakup system administrasi siswa danakademis, sumber daya manusia, keuangan, bimbingan elektronik, dan aplikasi teknologi informasi lainnya yangmenyediakan layanan secara menyeluruh. Pada gilirannya system ERP diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kinerja danmemudahkan personalia untuk menjalankan fungsi pelayanan dalam bimbingan belajar. Pendekatan yang dikembangkanmulai dengan menganalisa kebutuhan pemakai, mengembangkan prototype dan menguji kelayakannya. Apabila prototypesystem ERP layak untuk diterima selanjutnya akan diterapkan secara keseluruhan. Pengembangan system ERPmenggunakan kombinasi AMP software (Apache MySQL dan PHP) yang dijalankan pada system operasi Windows.

Abstract

This study aims to design a model in achieving superior performance of MSMEs. The mixed strategic orientations of demography, economy and cultural values are used to design this model. The mixed strategic orientations consist of customer, competitor and innovation orientations. Demographic variables consist of age, experience and education. Economic variables consist of government, price, income and growth. Cultural value variables consist of Javanese, Chinese and Padang cultural values. Customer orientation variables have an antecedent variable that consist of entrepreneurship, reward and learning. The change orientation variable moderates the customer and competitor orientations to the innovation orientation. Variable of competitive advantage mediates customer and competitor orientations on MSMEs? performance. The population of this study consists of food MSMEs in Central Java. The 750 samples are chosen with convenient sampling technique. Data analysis mrthod used the Cross-tab Analysis and Structural Equation Model (SEM). The result of this research is a model explaining that demography, economy and cultural values influence antecedent variables of customer orientation, dimension of strategic orientations and organizational performance. The antecedent variables affect customer orientation; the dimension of strategic orientations affects performance; Variable of change of capacity unmoderates customer and competitor orientations on innovation orientation. Variable of competitive advantage unmediates customer, innovation and competitor orientations on performance. An abstract should accompany each manuscript; it should be completely self-consistent (i.e., with no figure, table, equation or reference citations), not exceeding 250 words and written as a single paragraph.

Abstract

This study was intended to find out the students? ability in reading descriptive text. Reading skills are considered as an important skill and are uneasy to acquire. In this study, there were 40 students of the second year students of SMAN 1 Sikur are involved as the subject of this study. The method used in this research is a quantitative study. In collecting the data, the writer used a reading test. The data were analyzed through basic statistical computation. To find out their ability and difficulties in reading descriptive text, the test was used which consists of 25 items to students in the form of multiple choice. The test score for each item was 0.4 points. The result of data analysis showed that the mean score of the second year students of SMAN 1 Sikur in reading the descriptive text was fairly good. There were 21 (52.5%) students who were in a high position and 19 (47.5%) students were in a low position. Although 52.5% of students in a high position and 47.5% in a low position, the students? mean score shows a low position, it is 7.2 mean score which classified as fairly good. Therefore, the ability of the second year students of SMAN 1 Sikur has not been in a high position which is categorized from excellent to good score level. This is caused by the lack of reading strategy and vocabulary. The two weaknesses become students? difficulties in reading descriptive text.

Abstract

Coordination is a very complex problem that has occurred in the management of protected forest in Indonesia.  The purpose of this study is to elucidate  how the Soft Systems Methodology (SSM) is used as a basis for rearranging coordination in  the  management of protected forest.  SSM demonstrates various aspects of coordination to be addressed and concrete steps that decision makers in the management of protected forest should make. Using the case example of protected forest management in Wonosobo Regency, Central Java, Indonesia, this study suggests that there are 9 steps to be considered in coordinating the management of protected forest. The findings of this study are relevant to decision makers in which the stages in SSM can assist decision makers to address problems in the coordination of protected forest management.

Abstract

This study aims to find out about the effectiveness of leadership in improving the performance of the apparatus in the village of Wasalabose Kulisusu District, North Buton Regency. The research used is qualitative research. Existing data collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Analysis of the data used is descriptive qualitative analysis. Research Results Show that the Leadership of the Village Head in Wasalabose is already good, as indicated by the relationship between the leaders, in this case, the Wasalabose Village Head and his subordinates and also the division of structures clear task by always giving direction in every activity carried out both in the village office or in the community and with what is done by the village head makes a strong leadership force line during the village wasalabose. Further improvement in the performance of the apparatus in the village wasalabose already has shown an increase in productivity, good service quality and responsiveness carried out by the village apparatus with the direction and instructions from their leaders namely the Head of the Village Wasalabose Kulisusu District North Regency.

Alat ukur tekanan darah yang dirancang menggunakan Arduino UNO R3 dengan mikrokontroler ATmega328p dan sensor tekanan udara MPX5050DP. Sensor MPX5050DP memiliki jangkauan daerah pengukuran dari (0 – 50) kPa atau (0 – 350) mmHg yang dapat digunakan untuk pengukuran tekanan darah. Alat ukur dirancang kemudian diujicobakan kepada tiga orang pasien laki-laki. Data yang diperoleh merupakan nilai tekanan manset yang kemudian disajikan dalam bentuk grafik. Data tersebut dianalisis untuk menentukan nilai sistol dan diastol. Hasil pengujian memiliki persentase kesalahan dari nilai perbandingan antara hasil tekanan darah yang terukur menggunakan alat yang dirancang dengan hasil tensimeter digital OMRON HEM 8712 sebagai referensi. Rentang kesalahan pada pasien pertama yaitu pada sistol sebesar 2,70 % hingga 10,13 %, dan diastol sebesar 0,00 % hingga 3,70 %. Rentang kesalahan pada pasien kedua yaitu pada sistol sebesar 22,50 % hingga 40,00 %, dan diastol sebesar 3,23% hingga 14,52 %. Rentang kesalahan pada pasien ketiga yaitu pada sistol sebesar 2,10 % hingga 13,68 %, dan rentang diastol pada 5,79 % hingga 10,14 %.
