Abstract

The aims of this research are: (1) to make a tool that can be assembled on a Yamaha motorbike. (2) can be controlled via a smartphone which has a function as a safety on motorcycles using Arduino and the Security Alarm System. The research method used in this research is the prototyping method, which is a system manufacturing process method that is made in a structured manner and has several stages that must be passed in its manufacture, but if the final stage states that the system that has been made is not perfect or still has deficiencies, then the system will be re-evaluated and will go through the process from the beginning. Where this method has 6 stages, namely needs analysis, rapid design, build prototypes, initial user evaluation, improve prototypes, implementation and maintenance. The results of this study are: (1) Designing a prototype security alarm system on Arduino-based Yamaha motorcycles to implement a motorcycle security system that is reliable and responsive when the vehicle is parked. This system uses a vibration sensor to detect every movement and vibration that occurs in the vehicle, this system uses an alarm that can sound when the vehicle vibrates or moves and can make calls via smartphone. (2) Implementation of a security alarm system prototype on Arduino-based Yamaha motorbikes can be used to secure motorcycles from theft and vandalism.

Abstract

Dredger 21 Singkep 1 is a mean of production offshore tin mining owned PT Timah (Persero) Tbk, which in 2016 is located in the Air Kantung Sea. Before the implementation of the necessary mining mine planning as a guide to provide an overview of work in the field conditions. Mine planning studies considering the economical extraction and analysis of the operations of dredgers by applying two ways; manually which reserves calculations using the Poligon Methods (Area Of Influence) with sea drilling spacing of 100 × 100 m and assisted Software Micromine as a comparasion. Based in the calculation, the value of the break even production of 42 tonnes ore/month and the break even grade of 0,23 kg/m3. Mining in May to October 2017 to continue the old location to the position of excavation to the northwest. Results obtained Idh manual production planning (Content Calculated) 1.263.980 m3, TDH (Tin Calculated) 0,292 kg/m3 and PDH (Production Calculated) 369,69 tonnes, while the calculation of Micromine obtained Idh 1.271.379 m3, Tdh 0,273 kg/m3 and Pdh 347 tonnes. Fault tolerance value 0,58%. Repair manual planning the excavation efficiency is obtained Idh 1.283.847 m3 increased 1,55%, Tdh 0,327 kg/m3 increased 10,7% and Pdh 409,37 tonnes increased 11,85%. Based on the analysis of drill profiles, the most effective method of extracting using combination system, where the overburden excavation with long face method and leaded soil with short face method.

Abstract

The limited integration of technology and innovative approaches in physics education has frequently hindered students' ability to comprehend abstract and complex concepts, contributing to suboptimal learning outcomes. This study investigates the impact of google sites-based physics instructional media, implemented in conjunction with a problem based learning model, on the learning outcomes of class XI students at SMAN 1 Darul Imarah, explicitly focusing on momentum and impulse topics. This research employs a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental methodology with a nonequivalent control group design. The entire cohort of class XI students served as the population, with purposive sampling used to select class XI F-4 as the experimental group and XI F-5 as the control group. Data collection was performed through pretests and posttests, utilizing 20 multiple-choice questions designed to assess student comprehension. Data analysis was conducted using an independent sample t-test to determine the significance of differences between groups. The analysis revealed that a t-value (count) of 2.205 exceeded the critical t-value (table) of 1.996, indicating a statistically significant difference in learning outcomes associated with google sites-based physics instructional media using the probkem based learning model with respect to learning outcomes. These findings demonstrate that the integration of google sites as an instructional medium, coupled with the problem based learning approach, significantly enhances students' learning outcomes in the study of momentum and impulse.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to design teaching materials that represent the cultural diversity in Samarinda using a design research method. This research focuses on expert evaluation to measure the product's feasibility. The results from the expert evaluation indicate that the developed teaching materials have a high level of cultural relevance and accuracy. However, some improvements were recommended, such as using the more inclusive term "ethnic groups" and adding more culturally representative images. In terms of language clarity, the materials received a perfect score, deemed easy to understand and aligned with linguistic standards. The educational effectiveness was rated favorably, with suggestions to incorporate interactive elements like project-based activities to enhance student engagement, in line with the Merdeka Curriculum. The sequential structure of the content was also highly praised for supporting a structured learning process. Overall, the experts concluded that the teaching materials are highly suitable and viable as a learning resource to promote the understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity among students.

Abstract

Pemerolehan bahasa merupakan proses perkembangan yang kompleks dan seringkali mengalami keterlambatan atau gangguan signifikan pada anak dengan Gangguan Spektrum Autisme (ASD). Orangtua memegang peran penting dalam mendukung perkembangan bahasa anak, namun banyak yang belum memiliki pengetahuan memadai mengenai tahap pemerolehan bahasa dan strategi komunikasi yang efektif untuk anak autisme. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan pemahaman kepada orangtua di Kota Padangsidimpuan mengenai tahapan perkembangan bahasa serta strategi komunikasi praktis yang dapat diterapkan di rumah. Program ini melibatkan sesi interaktif, penyediaan materi edukatif, serta kolaborasi antara akademisi, terapis, dan keluarga. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman orangtua terhadap tahapan pemerolehan bahasa, kesadaran akan tantangan komunikasi pada anak autisme, serta meningkatnya kepercayaan orangtua dalam menerapkan teknik komunikasi yang mendukung. Inisiatif ini diharapkan dapat menjembatani proses terapi dan lingkungan rumah, membangun komunitas yang suportif, serta meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa dan interaksi sosial anak dengan autisme.

Abstract

Physics learning in high schools often faces challenges due to students' low conceptual understanding of abstract topics like sound waves. To address this challenge, this study investigates the effectiveness of Web-based Inquiry Physics Problems (WIPPer), an innovative learning platform that incorporates a problem-based learning approach within a blended learning framework. Using a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design, the research was conducted on 20 eleventh-grade students at State Senior High School 2 Kuta Baro. Data were collected through a learning outcome test comprising 10 multiple-choice items (cognitive levels C1–C4), teacher and student response questionnaires, and observation sheets to monitor engagement throughout the WIPPer implementation. The results showed a medium average N-gain of 0.5116, with 70% of students achieving medium to high improvement categories. Observational analysis demonstrated 89% effectiveness across all learning phases. Teacher responses rated WIPPer as excellent (media: 93.33%, material and evaluation: 100%), while student responses were also highly favorable (media: 86.16%, material: 93.4%, evaluation: 90%). Cross-tabulation analysis revealed a strong correlation between student engagement and achievement, particularly in analytical activities. Students with high engagement demonstrated better ability in answering complex concept application questions (75.76%) compared to students with low engagement (16.67%). The novelty of this research lies in the integration of gradual assessment, virtual laboratory simulations, and adaptive feedback within a problem-oriented digital platform. This research concludes that WIPPer is a feasible and effective tool that enhances learning outcomes by fostering engagement and supporting independent learning. This research contributes to physics education by presenting WIPPer as a feasible and effective model that aligns with digital learning trends and supports the development of adaptive, student-centered instructional approaches.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji bagaimana peran kesalehan orang tua terhadap kecerdasan emosional anak di Desa O’o Kecamatan Donggo Kabupaten Bima. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu: wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Kemudian analisis data yang digunakan meliputi pengumpulan data, sampling, reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yang dilaksanakan menunjukan bahwa lingkungan keluarga mempunyai peran yang besar terhadap nilai-nilai kecerdasan emosional anak. Lingkungan keluarga yang baik akan menghasilkan anak yang baik, begitu pula sebaliknya lingkungan keluarga yang kurang baik hasilnya tidak akan baik. Dari pendidikan keluarga tersebut Seorang anak sudah saling menghargai satu sama lain. Dampak dari efektivitas pendidikan keluarga yang telah diberikan oleh orang tua berpengaruh positif dalam perubahan kecerdasan emosional anak, seperti hal nya perubahan sikap, tutur kata, perilaku yang baik serta saling menghargai satu sama lain. perubahan positif yang terjadi menunjukan dampak pendidikan keluarga. Salah satu yang menjadi faktor penghambat peran kesalehan orang tua yaitu kurangnya perhatian orang tua dikarenakan orang tua sibuk dengan urusannya masing-masing, gedget dan faktor lingkungan. Peran orang tua menjadi suatu hal yang penting untuk diperhatikan dalam pengembangan emosi anak. Keadaan emosianal anak di Desa tersebut telah cukup baik dalam membina hubungan sosial, empati dan motivasi diri. Akan tetapi mereka belum dapat mengenali dan mengendalikan emosi diri dengan baik. Faktor pendukung dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan emosional anak adalah wawasan dan pengalaman orang tua, dukungan anggota keluarga yang lain, dan lingkungan pendidikan bagi anak.

Abstract

This study aims to identify subject matter that still experiences misconceptions among students. Interviews were conducted with a number of teachers from several high schools in Padangsidimpuan city, namely SMA Negeri 2, SMA Negeri 6, and SMA Negeri 7 Padangsidimpuan. The sampling technique used was random sampling. This study used a descriptive method, and the data was analyzed descriptively as well. In SMA Negeri 2 Padangsidimpuan, as many as 54.54% of students experienced misconceptions on the material of Newton's Third Law which was classified as a high category. For Thermodynamics material, the level of student misconceptions reached 31.74% with a moderate category. Misconceptions on Quantum Physics material were at 8.48% (low category), while for the Concept of Motion it was 5.24% also with a low category. In SMA Negeri 6 Padangsidimpuan, the percentage of students who experienced misconceptions on Newton's Third Law reached 58.02% (high category). Meanwhile, in Thermodynamics material, it is only 2.72% (low category), Quantum Physics is 7.52% (low category), and Motion Concept is 31.74% (medium category). Meanwhile, in SMA Negeri 7 Padangsidimpuan, students who experience misconceptions in Newton's Third Law are 50.63% (high category). For Thermodynamics material, the percentage is 31.74% (medium category), Quantum Physics is 8.48% (low category), and Motion Concept is 5.24% (low category).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat modul fisika berbasis komik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan, tepatnya di SMK Negeri 1 Batang Angkola. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah random sampling. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan RD yang menggunakan metodologi deskriptif kualitatif. Modul ini masuk dalam kategori "sangat layak", menurut hasil validasi, yang memiliki skor rata-rata 87,5%. Kontennya mudah dipahami dan disusun sesuai dengan kurikulum. Sementara itu, penyajian berbasis komik dan daya tarik visual dianggap menarik dan meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. Bakat awal siswa serupa, seperti yang terlihat dari skor rata-rata pra-tes kelas eksperimen sebesar 52,4 dan kelas kontrol 51,7. Skor rata-rata pasca-tes kelas eksperimen naik menjadi 82,1 setelah pembelajaran, dibandingkan dengan skor kelas kontrol 68,4. Dengan skor N-gain rata-rata 0,63 seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh perhitungan gain, hasil belajar kelas eksperimen meningkat dan dikategorikan sebagai sedang hingga tinggi. Selain itu, kelas kontrol masuk ke dalam kategori sedang dengan skor N-gain 0,34. Menurut hasil perhitungan, penggunaan modul komik untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual siswa lebih berhasil daripada menggunakan teknik pengajaran tradisional. Menurut survei, sebagian besar siswa mengatakan bahwa modul berbasis komik meningkatkan perhatian mereka dan membantu mereka memahami materi pelajaran dengan lebih mudah. Hingga 88% siswa mengatakan bahwa penggunaan cerita dan grafik dalam presentasi membantu mereka memahami ide-ide fisika yang sebelumnya mereka anggap menantang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pengembangan sistem klasifikasi tingkat kematangan kelapa berbasis pengolahan citra digital dengan algoritma K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN). Tujuannya adalah menyediakan metode penilaian kualitas kelapa yang lebih objektif, konsisten, dan efisien dibandingkan metode manual. Dataset citra kelapa diperoleh melalui proses akuisisi terkontrol, diikuti tahapan pra-pemrosesan, konversi ruang warna RGB ke HSV, dan ekstraksi fitur warna. Model KNN dioptimalkan melalui validasi silang untuk menentukan nilai k terbaik, yaitu k = 3. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan metrik akurasi, presisi, recall, F1-score, serta analisis Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) dan Area Under Curve (AUC). Hasil menunjukkan akurasi rata-rata 92%, dengan nilai AUC di atas 0,90 untuk semua kelas (Muda, Setengah Matang, Matang), mengindikasikan kinerja model yang sangat baik. Kesalahan klasifikasi paling sering terjadi pada kelas Setengah Matang dan Matang karena kemiripan warna. Temuan ini menegaskan potensi KNN untuk klasifikasi kualitas kelapa berbasis warna, meskipun peningkatan dapat dilakukan melalui fitur tekstur, augmentasi data, dan pengujian pada kondisi pencahayaan yang bervariasi. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat mendukung otomasi sortasi kelapa di tingkat petani maupun industri.
