Abstract

This study aims to describe and explain the local wisdom of the people of Kampung Budha Sodong in managing water resources. The research was conducted using an ethnographic approach. The research was conducted for one year in Sodong Hamlet, Braceletkulon Village, Sampung District, Ponorogo Regency, East Java Province, Indonesia. Collecting data by observation, interviews, and recording documents. The validity of the data used a source triangulation technique, while the data analysis used a qualitative interactive model technique. From the research carried out, it can be found that the local values of the people of Kampung Budha Sodong in managing water resources are in the form of a philosophy of life, inner teachings, noble pitutur, unen-unen, and pamali. The local wisdom is the driving force, community guide and reference in planning, implementing and evaluating water resources and their utilization. So that the availability of water in this village is sustainable. This is one of the factors that make the lives of the people of Kampung Buddha harmonious.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of ethical leadership and organizational commitment towards the industrial relations climate mediated by employee voice. The population in this study was the employees of BSM (Bank Syariah Mandiri) Banda Aceh and the sample used was 83 people with a simple random sampling technique. This research data collection used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis to examine the direct effect between variables and the Sobel Test analysis to test the indirect effect (mediation). The results found that there is a significant effect of ethical leadership towards the industrial relations climate. There is an effect of organizational commitment towards employee voice. There is an effect of employee voice towards the industrial relations climate. There is no effect of ethical leadership towards employee voice. There is no mediating effect of employee voice on the effect of ethical leadership towards the industrial relations climate. There is no mediating effect of employee voice on organizational commitment variable towards industrial relations climate for employees of BSM Banda Aceh

Abstract

Abstract: This exploratory study aimed to describe the current teachers’ acceptance and use of online media for primary school in rural areas.The study used interview and survey as data collection methods which were divided into two focus questions. This study adopted six indicators of Technology Acceptance Model by Davis to measure the participants’ experience on using online learning media. The participants consisted of 30 teachers from four private and government schools in Indonesia. The data collection methods for this study included a survey and open-ended face-to-face interviews in the sense of triangulation for validity and reliability. This study explored the current condition qualitatively, classified each indicator based on interview data reduction and analyzed descriptively. The study found the teachers’ accept using online media in integrated learning but they cannot use it because of the lack facilities and the schools’ rules of using online media. The external variables, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness and attitudes of the teacher showed the positive acceptance for online learning implementation. Unfortunately, they did not find support to enhance their lack of behavioural intention use and actual use during the teaching practice.The study proposes the development of a supportive environment and facilities to support factual use of online learning in rural areas. This study recognises that online learning was perceived as important to maximize potential of teaching in rural areas. It also highlighted that teachers in rural areas have behavioural intention to implement online learning although in limitation. This study presented significant gap between teachers’ technology acceptance and usage in rural area to be highlighted toward the affordable online learning in the future Keywords: elementary school; teachers’ acceptance; teachers’ use; online media; technology Abstrak: Penelitian eksploratif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerimaan dan penggunaan media online oleh guru saat ini untuk sekolah dasar di pedesaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data wawancara dan survei yang terbagi menjadi dua pertanyaan fokus. Penelitian ini mengadopsi enam indikator Technology Acceptance Model untuk mengukur pengalaman peserta dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran online. Pesertanya terdiri dari 30 guru dari empat sekolah swasta dan negeri di Indonesia. Studi ini menggali secara kualitatif kondisi terkini dan mengklasifikasikan setiap indikator berdasarkan reduksi data wawancara kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menemukan penerimaan guru menggunakan media online dalam pembelajaran terpadu tetapi tidak dapat digunakan karena kurangnya fasilitas dan aturan sekolah dalam menggunakan media online. Variabel eksternal, persepsi kemudahan penggunaan, persepsi kegunaan dan sikap guru menunjukkan penerimaan yang positif terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran online. Sayangnya, mereka tidak menemukan dukungan untuk meningkatkan kurangnya penggunaan niat perilaku dan penggunaan aktual selama praktik mengajar. Studi ini mengusulkan pengembangan lingkungan dan fasilitas yang mendukung untuk mendukung penggunaan faktual pembelajaran online di daerah pedesaan. Studi ini mengakui bahwa pembelajaran online dianggap penting untuk memaksimalkan potensi pengajaran di pedesaan. Ditegaskan pula bahwa guru di pedesaan memiliki niat berperilaku untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran online meskipun dalam batasan. Abstract

Background. The kinemaster application can help someone or can make it easier for someone to produce good videos. Online learning really needs this application because students are now learning using cellphones and like to watch YouTube, so teachers can display this video creatively with physical learning material. At this time many people change their profession to become YouTubers, because this profession is very promising according to them and can guarantee their lives. Nowadays we find many youtubers. Many people today are competing to create their content, they are willing to play around and ruin people's moods. Purpose. This application aims to facilitate teachers in making various learning media. Almost everyone uses applications to work that function as the utilization of this sophisticated technology. Method. This article The method used in this research is a qualitative method, because qualitative methods are very flexible and accurate. Results. The result of this study is that the kinemaster application is very suitable for use as a learning media in class IV because the media is interesting and able to increase students' enthusiasm for learning. Conclusion. The use of kinemaster helps teachers in solving the problem of students who are reluctant to learn, because in general students really like to learn while doing. Hopefully in the future students will be more enthusiastic in learning.

Abstract

The low interest of students in learning is due to the need for more interactive learning media in line with technological developments in the 21st century. This research aims to create an application-based learning media called SMILE (Smart Interactive Learning) - Excursions to Space, which can improve the critical thinking skills of grade VI students on solar system material. This research uses the ADDIE teaching material development model, which consists of 5 stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview, expert and student validation, and evaluation questions (pretest and post-test). Data analysis techniques include data on the learning media development process, data on the feasibility of learning media through expert validation and user validation, and data on the effectiveness of teaching media with the T-test and N-Gain test. The results showed that the SMILE application learning media received the "Very Feasible" category from material experts, media experts, and students (users). The results also showed increased students' critical thinking skills after learning the SMILE application, which was proven by the T-test and N-Gain test results in the "high" category. This research concludes that an application-based learning media that is feasible and effective for improving students' critical thinking skills is produced.

Abstract

Konstruksi terowongan melalui tanah lempung sensitif terhadap air dapat menyebabkan deformasi berlebihan pada dinding terowongan. Untuk dapat memprediksi deformasi yang terjadi pada terowongan melalui tanah lempung ekspansif, model konstitutif tanah yang sesuai dibutuhkan agar pemodelan memberikan hasil analisis yang memuaskan. Makalah ini berisi mengenai fenomena swelling tanah pada Terowongan Manikin di Kupang. Analisis deformasi terowongan menggunakan metode elemen hingga 2D dengan bantuan program Plaxis2D dilakukan untuk memberi prediksi terhadap deformasi yang terjadi pada terowongan Manikin. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan dua model konstitutif tanah, model keruntuhan Mohr-Coulomb dan Hardening Soil. Penggunaan kedua model tersebut dilakukan untuk mengetahui dampak serta pengaruh dari kedua model konstitutif tanah terhadap nilai deformasi pada terowongan melalui tanah ekspansif. Untuk dapat memodelkan fenomena swelling pada tanah, dikerahkan beban tambahan pada dinding terowongan yang berperan sebagai tekanan swelling pressure. Dengan metode ini, analisis menggunakan simulasi numerik dapat menyerupai deformasi dari hasil pengawasan di lapangan. Hasil simulasi numerik menunjukan bahwa desain sistem penyangga asli menggunakan model MC dan HS memberikan deformasi sebesar 921,5 mm (11,8%) dan 900 mm (11,5%). Dua alternatif sistem penyangga awal diusulkan, menggunakan steel ribs dengan profil lebih besar dan Umbrella Arch Method (UAM). Kedua alternatif secara signifikan memberikan hasil deformasi yang lebih kecil dari desain awal. Steel ribs yang lebih besar memberikan deformasi terkecil menggunakan model MC sebesar 412 mm (5,2%), sedangkan UAM memberikan deformasi terkecil pada model HS dengan deformasi sebesar 247 mm (3,1%).

Abstract

Infographic book media is a medium appropriate to the concrete thinking stages of elementary school students, which excitingly displays information visualization. This study intends to develop an infographic book introducing Geopark and instilling the Seven Enchantments character values for elementary school students, which is implemented in the local content curriculum in several elementary schools in the Bayah Dome Geopark area. Through research and development (R&D) methods with three main stages: (1) preliminary study stage, (2) design and development stage, 3) product testing stage. This research produces an infographic book product as an effort to recognize the potential of geoparks and character values that are used as supplementary media for local elementary school content. The results of this study are expected to be an alternative introduction to the potential of Geopark as a medium of learning and instilling character values targeting elementary school-age students. The development of Seven Enchantments-based infographic teaching materials in the Bayah Dome Geopark area is well implemented. Many students in the Bayah Dome Geopark area of Lebak Regency are interested in teaching materials with pictures contained in infographics. Reading visuals through pictures makes this fun teaching material book by Bayah more attractive and liked by students in elementary school. There is high enthusiasm for this infographic teaching material because it is easy for the teaching staff to understand. The use of this book has a positive impact on the application of Seven Enchantments-based character values in schools.

Abstract

Abstract. The Darul Qiyam Islamic Boarding School is in Magelang Regency and is a plateau surrounded by 5 (five) mountains, namely Mount Merapi, Merbabu, Andong, Telomoyo, Sumbing, and the Menoreh Mountains. This condition makes most of the Darul Qiyam Islamic boarding school area an area with fertile soil derived from volcanic ash. Based on regional conditions like this, the location of the Darul Qiyam hut is suitable for durian plants. On the one hand, the need for durian fruit for cottage purposes is increasing over time with the demand for bread made from durian. The current need for durian is supplied from markets around Magelang. Durian grows abundantly in the village around the Darul Qiyam cottage, while at the cottage location there are only 3 durian trees. This fact occurs due to the students' lack of knowledge in planting durian trees and durian tree nurseries. The solution offered in this activity is to increase knowledge about planting durian seeds and increase skills regarding the propagation of durian seeds. The method used is counseling and assistance in planting durian seeds as well as training in the propagation of durian seeds. The result of this activity was an increase in students' knowledge about durian planting and breeding. Abstrak. Pondok Pesantren Darul Qiyam berada di  Kabupaten Magelang dan merupakan dataran tinggi yang dikelilingi oleh 5 (lima) gunung yaitu Gunung Merapi, Merbabu, Andong, Telomoyo, Sumbing, dan Pegunungan Menoreh. Kondisi ini menjadikan sebagian besar wilayah Pondok pesantren Darul Qiyam merupakan daerah yang tanah subur yang berasal abu vulkanis. Berdasarkan Keadaan wilayah seperti ini maka lokasi pondok Darul Qiyam cocok untuk tanaman durian. Di satu sisi kebutuhan buah durian untuk keperluan pondok semakin lama semakin meningkat dengan adanya perminataan roti yang berbahan baku durian. Kebutuhan durian sementara ini dipasok dari pasar disekitar magelang.  Durian tumbuh subur di kampung sekitar pondok Darul Qiyam, sedangkan dilokasi pondok hanya terdapat 3 batang pohon durian. Kenyataan ini terjadi karena kurangnnya pengetahuan santri dalam menanam pohon durian dan pembibitan pohon durian. Solusi yang ditawarkan dalam kegiatan ini adanya peningkatan pengetahuan tentang penanaman bibit durian dan peningkatan ketrampilaan tentang perbanyakan bibit durian. Metode yang dilakuan penyuluhan dan pendampingan penanaman bibit durian serta pelatihan perbanyakan bibit durian. Hasil dari kegiatan ini  yaitu terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan santri tentang penanaman dan pembibitan durian sebesar 75% diperoleh dari hasil pretest dan pos test.

Abstract

The tectonic setting of Sumatra Island is strongly influenced by the oblique subduction of the Indo-Australian Plate, which subducts the Eurasian Plate at a speed of 52–60 mm/year. The movement of these plates resulted in the Northern Sumatra region having seismic sources from tectonic and volcanic activity. The data used in this study is in the form of seismic wave travel-time recorded by numerous seismic stations in the research area from January 2012 to December 2020. The data comes from 5,003 earthquakes recorded by the BMKG seismic network. The inversion is a simultaneous inversion between seismic velocity models (Vp and Vs) and hypocenter parameters by applying a double-difference seismic tomography algorithm. Tomogram results in parts of Aceh (Singkil and Subulussalam) and North Sumatra (Pakpak Bharat and Dairi) at a depth of 0 km show negative perturbations in Vp and Vs values and high Vp/Vs values. The anomaly is most likely related to cracks in fluid-saturated rocks. The tomograms in the south of Lake Toba at depths of 30 km and 40 km have high Vp and Vs perturbation values and low Vp/Vs values. This anomaly indicates a magma supply line that is no longer active or has cooled for a long time. Based on the seismic tomography modeling results, the subducted Indo-Australian Plate to the Eurasian Plate is visible in the study area.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dampak gaya kepemimpinan demokratis dan partisipasi masyarakat terhadap kinerja BUMDes Sukma Yasa di Desa Sukomoro, Kecamatan Sukomoro, Kabupaten Magetan. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan kuesioner. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 30 responden yang dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Regresi Linier Berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Gaya kepemimpinan demokratis tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja BUMDes Sukma Yasa, ditunjukkan oleh nilai sig-F sebesar 0,163 yang lebih besar dari alpha 0,05, (2) Partisipasi masyarakat memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja BUMDes Sukma Yasa, dibuktikan dengan nilai sig-F sebesar 0,009 yang lebih kecil dari alpha 0,05, (3) Secara simultan, gaya kepemimpinan demokratis dan partisipasi masyarakat berpengaruh terhadap kinerja BUMDes Sukma Yasa, dengan nilai R square sebesar 42,8%, sementara 57,2% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dijelaskan dalam penelitian ini.
