Abstract

Prayer is the most important worship that will be accounted for on the Day of Judgment. Prayer performed in congregation has a higher value than prayer performed alone, which is one degree to twenty-seven degrees. In this regard, the researcher wants to conduct a study related to the factors of low interest of young people in congregational prayer and its implications for community congregational prayer. The importance of this study is that the researcher really hopes that the mosque or langgar will be prosperous by establishing congregational prayer, especially by its young people. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. This study uses observation, interview and questionnaire data collection techniques. The researcher observed and used unstructured interviews with the community and distributed questionnaires to young people in Sungai Kali Village, Batang Kulur Kiri Village and Batang Kulur Kanan Village. The results of this study are that it can be seen about the factors of low interest of young people in carrying out congregational prayer, namely the lazy factor, the far from the mosque factor, the busy/work/school factor, the no friends factor, the not used to it factor. The solution based on these problems, the researcher provides a solution for the committee to create a community that attracts the attention of young people to go to the mosque/langgar. These communities include sports communities, discussion communities and so on.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of santri participation in the tahfidz learning program on learning motivation and learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at Rumah Tahfidz Zainal Muhibbin. The background of this study rests on the importance of integrating spiritual values in Islamic Education learning strategies that are not only cognitive, but also affective. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational design. A sample of 60 students was purposively selected with the criteria of participating in the tahfidz program for at least one semester and having an odd semester PAI report card in the 2024/2025 school year. The instruments used include a Likert scale-based learning motivation questionnaire and PAI score documentation. The results of statistical analysis showed that there was a significant positive relationship between participation in the tahfidz program and learning motivation (r = 0.648; p < 0.05), as well as between participation in tahfidz and PAI learning outcomes (r = 0.611; p < 0.05). Simple regression analysis showed that the tahfidz program contributed 42% to the variation in learning motivation and 37.3% to PAI academic achievement. This finding indicates that participation in tahfidz not only builds religious character, but also has a real impact on students' academic performance. This study confirms the importance of tahfidz program as an integrative pedagogical and spiritual approach in Islamic education learning. It is recommended that Islamic educational institutions develop a curriculum that makes tahfidz as part of strengthening the quality of value-based learning.

Abstract

Numeracy literacy skills are one of the essential competencies of the 21st century, yet national and international assessments show that elementary school students in Indonesia still face difficulties in connecting mathematical concepts to real-world contexts. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a contextual-based numeracy literacy learning model combined with simple digital media in improving student achievement. The research method used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest–posttest control group model. Two classes were designated as the experimental and control groups, with an intervention of eight meetings based on everyday life contexts (e.g., market prices and rainfall data) combined with simple digital media such as spreadsheets and visual simulations. The results of the ANCOVA analysis showed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups, with a large effect size (Hedges' g = 1.12). The strongest improvement occurred in the formulate aspect, followed by employ and interpret. Qualitative findings through interviews and observations also showed increased motivation, active participation, and self-confidence in students. Thus, the contextual model with simple digital support is effective in improving numeracy literacy and is relevant for wider implementation as a learning strategy, while supporting the achievement of SDG 4 on quality and inclusive education.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of Electronic Word of Mouth (eWOM) and Service Quality on parents' motivation in using Islamic boarding school education services, with Brand Image as a mediating variable and Trust as a moderating variable. The research method used is a quantitative approach with path analysis using SmartPLS 4. Data were obtained from 150 respondents who are parents of Islamic boarding school students. The results show that eWOM is predicted to have a significant positive effect on brand image (β = 0.225; p <0.001), and service quality is also predicted to have a significant positive impact (β = 0.322; p <0.001). Trust is predicted as a moderator that weakens the relationship between eWOM and brand image (β = -0.101; p <0.023) and service quality (β = 0.088; p <0.035) shows a significant predicted influence. In addition, brand image with the results of β = 0.828; p <0.001) has a positive and significant predicted influence on motivation to use Islamic boarding school education services. The influence of eWOM (β= 0.187; p<0.001) and service quality (β= 0.266; p<0.001) on the motivation to use services is predicted to be significant, with brand image acting as a mediator. This study provides a theoretical contribution on the development of the Theory of Planned Behavior in marketing through eWOM and service quality on the motivation of parents to use Islamic boarding school education services for their children. As well as practical contributions for Islamic boarding school managers in marketing strategies, improving services, and building a positive brand image and trust in increasing the motivation of parents to choose Islamic boarding school education for their children.

Abstract

This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach, supported by a structured Likert-scale questionnaire distributed online to 20 tutors at LBB YSY PRIVATE. While quantitative instruments were used for data collection, the primary emphasis was placed on the qualitative interpretation of tutors’ perceptions and experiences regarding digital assessment implementation. The analysis process involved categorizing Likert-scale responses to identify prevailing patterns using descriptive statistics, followed by a thematic analysis to uncover deeper qualitative insights from the identified trends. This combined analytical approach allowed for systematic documentation of response frequencies while preserving the depth and complexity typical of qualitative research. The results provide both measurable patterns and a nuanced understanding of tutors’ experiences with Google Forms, highlighting aspects such as perceived efficiency, challenges encountered, and levels of technology acceptance. This hybrid methodology proved particularly valuable in educational technology research, where both empirical data and experiential insights are crucial for a comprehensive understanding.

Abstract

ABSTRACTClassroom Action Research (PTK) is research that aims to identify learning problems in the classroom so that appropriate solutions are obtained to realize effective learning. PTK has now become a requirement for teacher professional development. However, teachers at SDN Kedungcowek are less capable in making PTK. This prompted the community service team to hold PTK training for teachers at the school. This training consists of three stages, the first stage is planning, at this stage the community service team coordinates with partners, the second stage carries out training, and the third stage, reflection. At this stage, the community service team measures participants' understanding of the training provided. As a result, most participants had a moderate understanding of the PTK training provided by the community service team. This is shown by the majority of teachers choosing a score of 3 for each indicator on the questionnaire distributed after the training. Abstract

The implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or good processing of processed food adopts the food safety system from ISO 22000 which has fourteen aspects and Halal Certificate which has eleven aspects for Small and Medium Industries (SMEs) in South Kalimantan. The implementation is considered to be still mentoring because there are still inconsistencies in several aspects and is a complex process, in addition, this implementation requires other resources such as costs, time and energy. This implementation is also linked to its impact on competitiveness in this case the competitiveness of the Porter model and marketing performance. The purpose of this study is to identify the variables of GMP implementation and Halal Certification on competitiveness and marketing performance and to analyze the effect of the implementation. This research method uses Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) analysis of the results of 256 respondents from thirteen regencies/cities in South Kalimantan through purposive sampling. The research instrument is a questionnaire with a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. The results of this study found that GMP implementation has an effect on halal certification, and halal certification also has an effect on competitiveness and marketing performance. This research focuses on GMP because there are still aspects that are invalid or not implemented in food SMEs, which are actually mandatory. The implications are improving human resource skills among SMEs and encouraging the government to support food SME policies to advance.
