Abstract

Narcotics, psychotropic substances, and addictive substances are substances that can provide a calm, or excited effect on its users, but also provide negative effects such as hallucinations, loss of emotional and behavioral control. Drug abuse has spread to various age groups from school age to adults. It is necessary to build the character of adolescent behavior based on the Al-Qur'an and Hadith to prevent drug abuse. The purpose of the study was to analyze the character building of adolescents based on the Al-Qur'an and Hadith in dealing with drug abuse factors. The study population was adolescents aged 12-19 years, the sample size was 95 respondents. Questionnaire research instrument. Correlational survey research method with cross sectional approach. Data analysis using Spearman rank test. The results of the study found substance factors that affect the risk of drug abuse low category as much as 92.6% and high category as much as 7.4%. The risk of drug abuse was found to be 94% of non-users and 6% of drug users. There is a perfect relationship between substance factors and the risk of drug abuse in adolescents, ρ = 0.000; α, r = 0.920. The Al-Qur'an and Hadith provide moral guidance that prohibits drug use as part of adolescent character to prevent drug abuse. It is necessary to strengthen the character based on the Al-Qur'an and Hadith in adolescents to prevent drug abuse behavior.

Abstract

Program fiqih terapan merupakan program unggulan di MTs Negeri 3 Kota Banjarmasin. Latar belakang program fiqih terapan secara umum adalah jumlah jam pelajaran fiqih yang tersedia dalam satu minggu belum mencukupi. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut dibentuklah program fiqih terapan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui historisitas program fiqih terapan dalam upaya pengembangan pembelajaran fiqih dan implementasinya di MTs Negeri 3 Kota Banjarmasin. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian lapangan yang dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan kualitatif, jenis studi kasus dan berbentuk deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian meliputi latar belakang penerapan program fiqih terapan dimulai dari kekhawatiran orang tua siswa yang melihat anaknya pandai membaca doa dan gerakan shalat di saat penerimaan siswa baru sangat kurang. Historisitas lainnya adalah terbatasnya jumlah jam pelajaran fiqih yang tersedia. Kemudian implementasi program fiqih terapan dalam upaya pengembangan pembelajaran fiqih dibagi menjadi tiga tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi.

Abstract

Critical thinking ability is an essential skill that students need to have to face challenges in solving problems in the modern world. This research analyzes the influence of metacognitive self-regulation and self-efficacy on students' critical thinking skills at SMK Negeri 10 Malang. A sample of 72 students was selected using non-probability techniques to describe variable relationships in detail. The research results show that there is a significant correlation between self-efficacy and metacognitive self-regulation on students' critical thinking skills, where self-efficacy has a negative impact on these skills, while metacognitive self-regulation has a significant positive impact. Statistical testing shows a significance value of 0.000 with Fcount of 63.914, greater than Ftable 3.13, indicating the simultaneous influence of the two variables on students' critical thinking skills. These results provide a new perspective on the importance of approaches that encourage students to manage their thinking processes independently and purposefully. An emphasis on metacognitive self-regulation appears to be effective in establishing better critical thinking skills, while the negative impact of too high self-efficacy indicates the need for balance in learning. These findings lead to the understanding that the development of critical skills can be achieved more optimally when students are directed not only to rely on self-confidence, but also pay attention to managing their thinking processes.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to create digital comic media using the Canva application. This study follows a research and development (R&D) approach and utilizes the ADDIE model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The participants included one history teacher and 19 students who actively engaged in daily teaching and learning activities, along with one material expert and one media expert. Data was collected through observations, questionnaires, interviews, and tests. The findings indicate that the digital comic media based on the Canva application is rated as "Very Feasible." The feasibility percentages were as follows: media experts rated it at 87% ("Very Feasible"), material experts at 85% ("Very Feasible"), education practitioners (teachers) at 95% ("Very Practical"), and educational practitioners (students) at 93% ("Very Practical"). Furthermore, student learning outcomes improved significantly after utilizing the digital comic media, achieving a post-test score of 90%, which is categorized as "Effective."

Abstract

The purpose of this service activity is to improve the Computational Thinking (CT) skills of vocational students through the Bebras Challenge training program. Since its introduction by Wing in 2006, CT has become a major focus in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education. In the context of this service activity, some of the problems identified involved students' lack of proficiency in CT, ignorance of Bebras Challenge activities, and lack of promotion of the use of the internet in CT learning. This training was carried out by applying lecture methods, question and answer sessions, and exercises/practices. The results of the implementation of this service activity show that students can apply Computational Thinking to solve everyday problems. This service method proved effective in motivating students and teachers to actively use technology as a CT learning tool. In addition, this training helps students to better understand the types of challenges faced in Bebras and the concept of CT.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pandangan kiai dari pesantren modern dan tradisional di Kalimantan Selatan mengenai peran gender dalam pendidikan keluarga. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode penelitian lapangan, enam kiai terpilih menjadi informan utama, yang terdiri dari tiga kiai dari kelompok pesantren modern, dan tiga kiai dari kelompok pesantren tradisional. Data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara, yang kemudian dianalisis dengan model Miles dan Huberman. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kedua kelompok kiai sepakat bahwa pendidikan anak merupakan tanggung jawab bersama, namun dengan pendekatan berbeda. Kiai pesantren modern menekankan pentingnya kolaborasi yang setara antara ayah dan ibu dalam pengasuhan dan pendidikan anak, sementara kiai pesantren tradisional lebih menonjolkan pembagian peran spesifik, dengan ayah sebagai pendidik utama dan ibu sebagai pengasuh utama. Pandangan kiai pesantren modern menunjukkan responsivitas yang lebih tinggi terhadap kesetaraan gender, sedangkan kiai pesantren tradisional masih berpegang pada norma patriarki, meskipun mulai mengakomodasi nilai-nilai kesetaraan secara selektif. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam memperkaya literatur tentang responsivitas gender di pesantren dan memberikan rekomendasi praktis untuk menjadikan pesantren sebagai agen perubahan sosial. Integrasi nilai-nilai kesetaraan gender dapat meningkatkan peran setara antara ayah dan ibu, yang pada akhirnya mendukung kualitas pendidikan keluarga dan transformasi sosial yang inklusif.

Abstract

Personal protective equipment is very important in carrying out work which can cause work accidents, so health education using direct demonstrations makes a huge contribution to change respondent behavior. So with direct demonstrations it was hoped that people would understand and remember more quickly. The aim of this research wss to identify the effect of direct demonstration method health education on compliance with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in sugar cane farmer groups. The research method used in this research was a pre-experimental one group pre test and post test design. The population of this study was a group of sugar cane farmers in Desa Banyuputih Kidul , Jatiroto subdistrict, Lumajang district with a sample of 30 respondents. The sampling technique used Amount sampling with a data collection sheet, observation sheet and analyzed using the SPSS statistical test, the Willcoxon test showed that the results were p value = a = 0.000, a <0.05. The results of the research before health education using the direct demonstration method showed that most of the compliance was not good, 30 people (100%) and after health education using the direct demonstration method, the majority of compliance was good, 17 people (56.7%), and there was an influence of health education using the method. direct demonstration of the level of compliance among sugar cane farmer groups. It is hoped that this research can increase more efforts and support from village officials and farmer group administrators in providing personal protective equipment (PPE), and health education using the direct demonstration method can be applied in educational services in village communities, especially in farmer groups with other implementations.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is the use of TikTok-based learning media to foster creativity and skills in assembling traditional dance movements in students of class X of SMA Negeri 3 Pamekasan, Pamekasan Regency, East Java Province. The object of this research is students in class XA in a dance group consisting of 7 people in one group. The data analysis in this study is a qualitative descriptive analysis, data and information obtained from the field are described data about students' creativity in assembling creative dance movements through TikTok-based learning media in learning Cultural Arts with creative dance work materials which are carried out in four meetings. Data collection is carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the learning research on creative dance materials, in this case, creativity in arranging creative dance movements in class X of SMA Negeri 3 Pamekasan in the dance group shows that students with good results are an indicator that they have been creative and can string dance movements into a dance work in accordance with the ideas and themes taken with musical accompaniment based on TikTok-based learning media.

Abstract

The objectives of this research include: 1) To determine the influence of media mind mapping in guidance and counseling services on the learning motivation of class IX students at SMPN 1 Tragah, and 2) to determine the influence of media mind mapping in guidance and counseling services on career planning for students of class IX SMPN 1 Tragah. This research uses a quantitative approach and is an experimental type of research with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research samples were 30 students in class IX-A as the control class and 30 students in class IX-D as the experimental class. The data analysis technique uses the independent sample t test analysis technique. The research conclusions include: 1) There is an influence of media mind mapping in guidance and counseling services on the learning motivation of class IX students at SMPN 1 Tragah, and 2) there is an influence of media mind mapping in guidance and counseling services on career planning for students of class IX SMPN 1 Tragah.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of role playing in describing the chemistry subject of molecular form material to improve learning outcomes and critical reasoning skills, compared to conventional learning which is only done by lecture method. Most of the chemistry lessons are abstract in nature, requiring high imagination and critical reasoning skills. Likewise, the molecular form material has a complex structure with constituent atoms in various shapes and angles. To help students in this learning, the role playing method was chosen which can involve students directly, train them to work together, express ideas, solve problems, analyze, evaluate and conclude. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pretest and posttest design in the experimental and control groups. The subjects of the study were students of class X SMA Negeri 3 Pamekasan in the 2024-2025 Academic Year. The sample was selected using the cluster random sampling technique. The experimental class was taught using the role playing method while the control class used the conventional method in the form of lectures. Each control and experimental class had 36 students. The instrument used in this study was a descriptive test with 15 questions to measure learning outcomes and 10 questions to measure students' critical reasoning abilities. The data obtained were processed statistically using the SPSS statistic 21.0 application for windows in the Paired T test. The results of the study for the learning outcome variable obtained data values ​​of 0.000 (sig <0.05), Gain values ​​of 44.18 and N Gain of 0.7, including the high category. For the critical reasoning ability variable, a value of 0.000 (sig <0.05), Gain values ​​of 49.17 and N Gain of 0.7, included in the high category. The conclusion of this study is that the role playing method is effective in improving learning outcomes and critical reasoning abilities of class XI students of SMA Negeri 3 Pamekasan in describing the subject of chemistry on the material of molecular shapes.
