Abstract

Masalah keperawatan skizofrenia terbanyak adalah risiko perilaku kekerasan, halusinasi, dan harga diri rendah, dengan 55% mengalami kekambuhan karena tidak patuh minum obat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) dan pendidikan kesehatan kepatuhan minum obat terhadap gejala, kemampuan menerima dan berkomitmen klien skizofrenia. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi eksperimental pre-posttest with control group, dengan jumlah sampel 90 orang klien skizofrenia yang dibagi menjadi 3 kelompok. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan penurunan gejala risiko perilaku kekerasan, halusinasi dan harga diri rendah serta peningkatan kemampuan menerima dan berkomitmen pada pengobatan dan kepatuhan klien skizofrenia yang mendapatkan ACT dan pendidikan kesehatan kepatuhan minum obat lebih besar secara bermakna dibandingkan kelompok yang hanya mendapatkan terapi ACT (p< 0,05). Terapi ACT dan pendidikan kesehatan kepatuhan minum obat direkomendasikan sebagai terapi keperawatan klien skizofrenia dengan risiko perilaku kekerasan, halusinasi dan harga diri rendah.Abstract Compliance and Commitment to Clients Schizophrenia Increased After Given Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Education Health Medication Adherence. Schizophrenia nursing problems most commonly found is the risk of violent behavior, hallucinations, and low self esteem. Found 55% of client risk violent behavior, hallucinations, and low self-esteem who have a relapse and medication adherence. This study aims to obtain the effects Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Health Education adherence to symptoms, ability to accept and commit to treatment and compliance in schizophrenia clients Mental Hospital of Medan, North Sumatra. This research design quasi-experimental pre-test post-test with control group. This sampling technique was purposive sampling, where the sample is 90 clients with schizophrenia, 30 the intervention group were given Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and medication adherence health education, intervention group were given 30 Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and 30 control group. Results of this study found a reduction in symptoms risk of violent behavior, hallucinations, and low self-esteem and increased ability to accept and commit to the treatment of schizophrenia and compliance client who gets Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and health education medication adherence was significantly greater than the group that only get Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (p< 0,05). Acceptance and commitment therapy and medication adherence health education recommended as a therapeutic nursing and therapy support advanced nursing care for clients in the risk of schizophrenia with violent behavior, hallucinations, and low self esteem. Keywords: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), health education medication adherence, schizophrenia

Abstract

Keperawatan adalah ujung tombak pelayanan kesehatan di rumah sakit yang menjadi salah satu indikator mutu pelayanan kesehatan dan berperan dalam menentukan kepuasan klien. Bentuk pelayanan keperawatan yang penting adalah terlihatnya perilaku caring perawat yang merupakan inti atau fokus dari praktek keperawatan professional. Perilaku ini yang harus dapat diterima dan dirasakan oleh klien. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut maka evaluasi kepuasan klien khususnya yang berhubungan dengan perilaku caring perawat perlu dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui tingkat kepuasan klien terhadap perilaku caring perawat di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pencapaian tingkat kepuasan klien terhadap perilaku caring perawat adalah 82,5%, dan dengan menggunakan mean sebagai cut off point diketahui bahwa 53,6% klien kepuasannya di atas rata-rata, dan tingkat kepuasan tersebut berhubungan secara signifikan dengan jumlah dirawat dan tingkat pendidikan klien. Nursing care is a frontline of health care services at the hospital that influence the client’s satisfaction level as an indicator of quality. Attention should be given to nurses caring behavior as a focus of professional nursing practice. This behavior should be accepted and felt by the clients. So it was necessary to evaluate client’s satisfaction related to nurse’s caring behavior. The purpose of the study was to identify the client’s satisfaction level toward nurse’s behavior in the general hospital Dr. Saiful Anwar in Malang. The result of the study showed that the mean of client’s satisfaction level to nurse’s caring behavior was 82.5 percent. If we used mean as cut off point, there were 53.6 percent clients have the satisfaction above mean. The level of this satisfaction has significant correlation with the number of admission to the hospital and client’s education.

Abstract

Gangguan jiwa dialami 81 jiwa dari 13764 jiwa penduduk di Kelurahan Sindang Barang, Bogor. Pelayanan kesehatan jiwamasyarakat melalui puskesmas belum berjalan optimal dan belum ada kelompok swabantu (self help group). Kelompok swabantumerupakan satu pendekatan untuk mempertemukan kebutuhan keluarga dan sebagai sumber penting untuk keluarga klien dengangangguan jiwa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi pengaruh kelompok swabantu terhadap kemampuan keluarga dalammerawat klien gangguan jiwa. Desain penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan pre-post test without control group inimelibatkan 18 keluarga yang diberikan intervensi berupa kelompok swabantu. Analisis menggunakan t paired, Anova danindependent t test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan kognitif dan psikomotor keluarga dalam merawatklien gangguan jiwa secara bermakna. Direkomendasikan membentuk dan melaksanakan kelompok swabantu bagi keluargayang memiliki anggota keluarga dengan gangguan jiwa.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh fungsi pengarahan kepala ruang dan ketua tim terhadap kepuasan kerja perawatpelaksana di unit rawat inap. Metode penelitian adalah quasi experiment dengan desain pre-post test design with controlgroup. Data diambil sebelum dan sesudah dilaksanakan pelatihan, bimbingan dan pendampingan fungsi pengarahan (operan,pre conference, post conference, iklim motivasi, supervisi dan delegasi) pada kepala ruang dan ketua tim. Sampel penelitiandiperoleh secara purposive sampling, terdiri dari 35 perawat pelaksana sebagai kelompok intervensi dan 40 perawat pelaksanasebagai kelompok kontrol. Instrumen untuk mengukur kepuasan kerja menggunakan Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaireberjumlah 36 pernyataan. Hasil penelitian didapatkan kepuasan kerja perawat pelaksana yang mendapat pengarahan dari kepalaruang dan ketua tim yang sudah memperoleh pelatihan, bimbingan dan pendampingan meningkat lebih tinggi secara bermaknadibandingkan dengan kepuasan kerja perawat pelaksana yang mendapat pengarahan dari kepala ruang dan ketua tim yang tidakdilatih fungsi pengarahan (p= 0,000; = 0,005). Fungsi pengarahan bila dilaksanakan secara konsisten oleh kepala ruang danketua tim, berpeluang meningkatkan kepuasan kerja sebesar 67,40% dan diperkirakan mampu meningkatkan nilai kepuasanperawat pelaksana sebesar 16.746 poin setelah dikontrol jenis kelamin. Rumah sakit dapat mengupayakan dan meningkatkankondisi kepuasan kerja perawat pelaksana secara berkelanjutan dengan mengimplementasikan fungsi pengarahan agar dapatmemberikan asuhan keperawatan berkualitas tinggi.Kata Kunci: kepala ruang, kepuasan kerja, ketua tim, pengarahan, perawat pelaksanaAbstractThe aim of this study was to investigate the influence of directing function of nurse unit manager and team leader to the nursejob contentment among staff nurses. The research method was a quasi experiment, pre-post test with control group design.The data gathered before and after the directing function (hand over, pre conference, post conference, motivational climate,supervision and delegation) had trained and guided to the nurse unit manager and team leader. The samples were 75respondents, determined by purposive sampling. They were 35 nurse staffs (experimental group) and the others (controlgroup). The instrument was a questionnaire consisted 36 of Likert scale statements adopted from Minnesota SatisfactionQuestionnaire. The result showed that the level of nurse job satisfaction in the experimental group increased higher significantlythan the control group (p= 0.000; = 0.005). Putting the directing function into action consistently in the daily nursingpractice improved the probability of the nurse job satisfaction level about 67.40% and enhanced it around 16.746 point. Theday-to-day maintaining their job satisfaction level should be done through directing function so that they will deliver highqualitynursing care.Keywords: directing, job satisfaction, nurse team leader, nurse unit manager, staff nurse

Abstract

Coping with stress exercise program is one form of mental health services, community-based youthheld at the school. The purpose of this study is to get a view of the influence of coping with stressexercise program against the risk of suicide among adolescents in junior high school love of Depok.Design research is a "Quasi-experimental pre-post test with control group." The sample is a clustersampling technique with a sample size of 56 junior high school adolescent students. This programaims to train youth to have self-defense capability so that when the stress remains at a low levelwithout destructive behavior. Risk of suicide in adolescents measured by using AdolesenceDepression Rating Scale (ADRS) and then analyzed using statistics. The results showed a reducedrisk of suicide significantly in the group of teenagers who were trained compared with those whowere not trained (p-value <0.05). Coping with stress exercise program in adolescents, it isrecommended to be done in order for mental health services in the community as a form of schoolbasedmental health services

Abstract

Introduction: An increasing number of elderly people followed the emergence of mental health problems. One of mental health problem that arises is hopelesness. Nursing action to hopelesness in elderly people in society is not to optimals. The aimed of this paper was gave an overview about the application of nursing intervention: generalist therapy to against hopelesness on elderly. Method: This research was used descriptive analytic design. Population were elders who lived at RW 3 and RW 4, Kelurahan Ciwaringin, Kota Bogor. Samples were 10 respondents, taken according to purposive sampling technique. Independent variable was generalist therapy, while dependent variables were sign and symptoms of hopelessness and ability to cope with hopelessness. Data were collected by using questionnaire, then analyzed by using frequency distribution.Result: The results showed that generalist therapy can decrease elder’s sign and symptoms of hopelessness (21%) and increase their ability to cope with hopelessness (72%).Discussion: It can be concluded that generalist therapy can be used as one of nursing intervention to against hopelesness in the elderly.

Abstract

Introduction: Prevalence of violence is highly occur in mental disorders clients at psychiatric hospitals. The impact is injure to others. This research aims to examine the effectiveness of music therapy and RECBT to sign and symptom and ability to control violent behaviour.Methods: Quasi-experimental research design with a sample of 64 respondents.Result: The study found a decrease symptoms of violent behaviour, ability to control violent behavior include relaxation, change negative thingking, irational belief, and negative behavior have increased significantly than the clients that did not receiving therapy.Discussion: Music therapy and RECBT is recommended as a therapeutic nursing at the client’s violent behaviour.Discharge Planning Increase Therapy Obedient of Patients

Abstract

Introduction: Psychosocial distress emerges in cancer disease. This research explores experience of conflict, anxiety, and depression in one year cancer survivor.Methods: Data were collected through in-depth semi structured interviews with fifteen participants when seeking treatment at a public hospital in Bandung.Result: There nine themes emerge: anxiety about cancer’s spread and recurrence, changing relationships with a partner, 'labeling' from oneself and others, physical discomfort along treatment, psychological discomfort along treatment, self-concept, religious/spiritual, hiding diagnose and complain, and deficit information about cancer. But, four themes among were not characterized with conflict, anxiety, and depression. Conflict, anxiety, and depression impact condition of the client cancer.Discussion: Experience of conflict, anxiety, and depression became the basis for the development of management system service and provision of facilities for integrated mental health nursing therapy.

Abstract

Introduction: Nursing care: social isolation is one of the pillars in Professional Mental Health Nursing Practice Model (PMHNPM). This study was aimed to determine the relationship between the implementation of nursing care in PMHNPM with the ability of clients and families client’s.Methods: This study was used a correlational design with cross-sectional approach. Samples were associate nurse who already follow PMHNPM training 58 respondents, client with social isolation problem who hospitalized at RSJD Prov. Jambi 32 respondents, and client’s family 12 respondents. Independent variable was PMHNPM implementation by associate nurse, while dependent variables were the result of nursing care to client with social isolation problem and family. Data were collected by using questionnaire. Data were then analyzed by using frequency distribution for categoric data, central tendency for numeric data, and pearson correlation.Results: The results showen that nursing management capabilities signifi cantly associated (p < 0.05) with the client’s ability and the ability of the family. The ability of nurses in providing nursing care social isolation were signifi cantly associated (p < 0.05) with a decrease in signs and symptoms of client upgrades.Conclusion: Associate nurses ability on nursing care and PMHNPM implementation could reduce a signs and symptoms, improve an ability of the client and families client’s social isolation.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the sustainability factor related with the implementation of CMHN in South and West Jakarta. The method of the study was cross sectional, data of the nurses was collected by questionnaire of CMHN and pearson correlation was used to analyzed the data. Interviews conducted on stakeholder to get stakeholder perceptions about the sustainability factor of CMHN. The ability of nurse in the implementation of CMHN is 45,86%. The nurse perception toward sustainability factor of CMHN is 67,49%. The result of study shows the significant relationship between the sustainability factor with the implementation of CMHN. The result of analysis interviews with stakeholder about 8 sustainability factors is obtained into several themes: the positive opinion of stakeholder toward the CMHN (the existence of nursing care to the patients, detecting of new case, and reducing stigma) and the effort for the sustainability of CMHN (increasing the perception, budget planning, and socialization). The result of the study is recomended to improve the community mental health nursing service in other region.
