Abstract

This study aims to formulate a corporate strategy for small-scale industry (MSME) producers of kerupuk (traditional crackers) in Tlasih Village, Tulangan District, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java. The research object is an MSME with a formal organizational structure, where corporate decision-making is carried out through managerial considerations. The general objective of this study is to identify the internal conditions of the MSME in order to determine its strengths and competitive advantages, as well as its relative weaknesses. In parallel, the study identifies changes in the external environment so that the MSME can detect both the opportunities and threats it faces. Through this analysis, the MSME Kerupuk Tlasih can formulate appropriate strategies from various strategic alternatives to remain competitive under such conditions. The specific objective of the study is to provide recommendations for the most effective corporate strategy that will enable the MSME Kerupuk Tlasih to sustain its operations amid environmental and competitive changes. The selection of MSME Kerupuk Tlasih as the research object given its formal organizational structure aims to allow for a clear assessment of its relative condition and the extent of its strengths and weaknesses in responding to environmental dynamics. This MSME is expected to leverage its strengths to capitalize on external opportunities and mitigate threats arising from environmental shifts. The analytical models employed in this study include the Internal Factor Analysis Summary (IFAS), External Factor Analysis Summary (EFAS), and SWOT analysis. The results indicate that the SWOT analysis places MSME Kerupuk Tlasih in Quadrant II, illustrating that the enterprise is currently facing significant external threats while maintaining relatively strong internal capabilities. Consequently, the most appropriate strategies for MSME Kerupuk Tlasih are market development and product development strategies.

Abstract

Each year, less than 1% of the population visits the Kubu Raya Regency Regional Public Library. This is due to the less strategic location of the library. In addition, the library space does not meet standard space requirements. Due to its geographical location, Kubu Raya Regency is included in a tropical climate with average temperatures and high rainfall. Therefore, a design method that can be adapted to the climate is needed to achieve comfort in the building. The purpose of the design of the Kubu Raya Regency Regional Public Library is to meet the comfort and space needs of the users by applying a modern tropical architectural approach. The design is done through several stages, starting from data collection, analysis, concept synthesis and design. The result of the design is the creation of a library building that is comfortable and can meet the needs of its users. The comfort of the building is achieved through a good lighting and ventilation system by creating an open space in the center of the building, making many openings, applying a cross ventilation system, adding a secondary skin and sun shading. To meet the needs of the user space, it is realized through the provision of space that is adjusted to the results of the analysis of the user space requirements and the standard space requirements for district / city public libraries. The building is rectangular in shape with a pitched roof. The side of the building is covered with a secondary skin of ACP and a sunshade with batik motifs typical of Kubu Raya.

Abstract

The low levels of cooperation and honesty among Group B children at TK Rejosari, where 80% of students achieved only the One-Star level in developmental outcomes. The lack of group learning activities that incorporate local wisdom values further exacerbates this condition. This study aims to enhance children’s character traits of honesty and cooperation through the implementation of the traditional game Cublak-Cublak Suweng. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted over two cycles involving 20 Group B students. Data were collected through observation and documentation and analyzed descriptively. The results show a significant improvement in cooperative behavior, increasing from 7.5% in the initial condition to 35% in Cycle I, and reaching 80% in Cycle II. Honesty also improved, rising from 13.75% to 36.25% in Cycle I, and reaching 86.25% in Cycle II. The study concludes that the traditional game Cublak-Cublak Suweng is effective in fostering honesty and cooperation among early childhood learners. It recommends the integration of traditional games as a character education medium in early childhood education (ECE) settings.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the extent to which boycott actions, price, and product quality influence consumer purchase decisions regarding Unilever’s sanitation products in Pontianak. A quantitative approach was employed, and data were collected using questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, t-tests, and F-tests. The findings indicate that both consumer boycott and price do not have a significant impact on purchase decisions. In contrast, product quality has a positive and statistically significant effect (β = 0.382; sig. = 0.029). The constant value of 33.611 suggests that even when all independent variables are assumed to have no effect, the purchase decision level remains high. The R square value of 0.072 indicates that the three variables together explain only 7.2% of the variance in purchase decisions. The F-test result of 1.856 with a significance level above 0.05 confirms that the independent variables do not have a simultaneous effect. These findings highlight that product quality remains the dominant factor influencing purchase decisions, even amid social issues such as boycott movements.

Abstract

The implementation of the community service and empowerment program initiated by Mapala Justitia Law Faculty Lambung Mangkurat University through PPK Ormawa 2023 was held in Kiyu Village, Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency, South Kalimantan. This area has excellent potential as a natural tourism destination, especially for climbing Mount Besar and Halau-Halau Peak. However, the tourism infrastructure in Kiyu Village is currently minimal. There is no post or basecamp for official registration of tourists, most of whom are climbers. Available accommodation is limited to a few guesthouses, which cannot support the increasing number of climbers. This program involves a team consisting of the Justitia Nature Lovers Student Organization (Mapala), Faculty of Law, Lambung Mangkurat University with activity supervisors who focus on developing the Kampung Kiyu Tourism Village in the Gunung Besar Conservation Area, Puncak Halau-Halau, part of the Meratus Geopark. The main activities of this program include The Great Mountain Climbing Post, Halau-Halau Peak, and Empowerment of the Dayak Meratus Indigenous People. The program aims to improve the development of local wisdom-based natural tourism villages and an effort to improve the economy of the local community. This program has a positive impact on the economy, infrastructure, environmental awareness, and promotion of Dayak Meratus's Indigenous cultural heritage with the achievement of this program in the form of the establishment of the mountain's basecamp building, publishing modules for the management of tourist villages, and socialization activities that have a positive impact implemented by local people.
