Abstract

The study aimed to determine the suitability of the Lesson Plan for 7th grade Secondary School with the Learning Process Standard based on the aspects of planning, implementation, and assessment. The particular research was an evaluation research with the CIPP model (Context, Input, Process, and Product). The lesson plan documents were from five schools implementing the Curriculum 2006 and five schools implementing the Curriculum 2013. The respondents were 10 science teachers of 7th grade and 472 students. Data collection instruments were observation guides, questionnaires, interview guides, and documentation. Data analysis techniques were quantitative and qualitative. The Quantitative data was T-score; meanwhile, qualitative data analyzed descriptively. Lesson Plans with the rules of the Curriculum 2006 and Curriculum 2013 were the main documents in the evaluation. The results showed that (1) the suitability of the science lesson plan using KTSP (curriculum 2006) was in category of adequate suitable and lesson plan using K-13 (curriculum 2013) was in suitable category; (2) the suitability of the implementation of science learning using KTSP and K-13 was in category of adequate suitable; and (3) the suitability of the assessment of science learning using KTSP and K-13 was in category of adequate suitable. Generally, the documents of the science lesson plan were adequate suitable with the Learning Process Standards.

Abstract

SRL penting dimiliki siswa kelas VI karena menjadi sebuah pertimbangan dalam proses belajar dan megajar terutama siswa kelas VI yang dihadapkan pada tantangan jenjang sekolah selanjutnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis self-regulated learning (SRL) siswa kelas VI sekolah dasar di Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Deskriptif Kuantatif dengan metode survey yang menggambarkan suatu fenomena pada wilayah tertentu. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan adalah 263 siswa kelas VI dari sepuluh sekolah dasar di Yogyakarta. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner SRL dengan skala likert 1-5 dengan gradasi alternatif jawaban sangat setuju-sangat tidak setuju. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif (statistik deskriptif). Hasil penelitian menujukan bahwa artinya secara umum, kemampuan SRL yang dimiliki kelas VI sekolah dasar di Yogyakarta masuk dalam kategori tinggi.  Namun jika dijabarkan berdasarkan indikatornya, SRL pada indicator cognitive dan self-reflection memang berada pada kategori tinggi, namun pada indikator performance menunjukkan kategori sedang. Oleh karena itu, perlu upaya dari guru, sekolah, orang tua, maupun siswa untuk dapat meningkatkan performance dalam belajar melalui penerapan model pembelajaran, media pembelajaran, bimbingan orang tua dan guru, serta kebijakan sekolah yang mendukung terciptanya iklim belajar yang positif

Abstract

Banyak faktor yang menyebabkan siswa mengalami gangguan kesulitan belajar. Salah satunya yaitu gangguan psikologis ringan. Selama ini masalah gangguan kesulitan belajar siswa di Gugus II Girikerto ini belum ditangani dengan maksimal. Hal ini dikarenakan pengetahuan guru di Gugus II Girikerto dalam mengidentifikasi gangguan kesulitan belajar siswa dan merencanakan bentuk intervensi masih relatif minim.  Program pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan guru dalam mengidentifikasi gangguan kesulitan belajar, gangguan psikologis ringan, serta merencanakan program intervensinya.  Metode yang dilaksanakan dengan pelatihan yang bersifat problem based learning dengan mengangkat masalah kontekstual. Hasil pelatihan antara lain: pertama, hasil rerata angket self evaluation sebesar 67,55. Sebanyak 21 (66%) guru memiliki kemampuan mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa di atas rerata, dan sisanya 11 (34%) guru memiliki kemampuan mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa di bawah rerata. Kedua, guru mampu mengidentifikasi ganggun psikologis ringan melalui panduan skrining gejala gangguan psikologis. Ketiga, guru mampu merancang bentuk intervensi gangguan kesulitan belajar melalui metode token economy. Secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan ini mampu meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru di Gugus II Girikerto mengenai intervensi gangguan kesulitan belajar yang disebabkan oleh gangguan psikologis ringan pada siswa SD.

Abstract

ABSTRAK            Motivasi berwirausaha merupakan faktor penting yang menyumbang peran besar pada keberhasilan usaha seseorang. Motivasi berwirusaha dapat digunakan sebagai modal utama dalam mengembangkan kemampuan diri. Rendahnya motivasi berwirausaha akan berdampak pada menurunnya  upaya pengembangan diri. Untuk meningkatkan  motivasi berwirausaha dapat dilakukan pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pendampingan kelompok. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas pendampingan kelompok sebagai upaya peningkatan motivasi berwirausaha peternak sapi perah Desa Hargobinangun di lereng Gunung Merapi. Sebanyak 94 orang masyarakat yang berasal dari kelompok ternak sapi perah dipilih sebagai sasaran program karena latar belakang masyarakat yang membutuhkan penanganan sesegera mungkin. Metode yang dipilih dalam program ini adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan intensif terhadap kelompok yang meliputi pelatihan motivasi wirausaha, pengenalan potensi daerah, pengenalan potensi produk ternak sapi perah, pelatihan dan pendampingan pengolahan susu sapi, pengemasan produk, standarisasi pengolahan makanan industri rumah tangga, serta pemasaran produk. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu terjadi perubahan mindset masyarakat tentang peluang wirausaha berbahan dasar produk sapi perah, peningkatan motivasi masyarakat setelah mendapat perlakuan berupa pendampingan kelompok. Keberhasilan program ini ditunjukkan dengan meningkatkan motivasi masyarakat melalui analisis data sebelum dan setelah pemberian program. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendampingan kelompok merupakan metode yang efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi berwirausaha kelompok peternak sapi perah. Melalui pendampingan kelompok yang bersifat kolaboratif, peserta dapat berinteraksi dengan baik, saling menghargai, suasana belajar menjadi nyaman, dan terjadi ketergantungan positif sehingga berimplikasi positif pada motivasi berwirausaha.   Kata Kunci : Motivasi Berwirausaha, Peternak, Sapi Perah. ABSTRACT                Entrepreneurship motivation is an important factor that contributes to the great success of one's business. The motivation of entrepreneurship can be used as the main asset in developing self-ability. The low motivation of entrepreneurship will have an impact on the decreasing of self-development effort. To improve entrepreneurship motivation can be done by community empowerment through group mentoring. This community service program aims to determine the effectiveness of group mentoring as an effort to increase the motivation of dairy farmer group at Hargobinangun Village on the slopes of Mount Merapi. A total of 94 people from the dairy farmer group are selected as the target of the program due to the society background that needs of handling as soon as possible. The methods chosen in this program are intensive training and mentoring to the group which includes entrepreneurship motivation training, the introduction of regional potentials, the introduction of potential dairy cow products, training and assistance of cow milk processing, product packaging, standardization of household food processing, and product marketing. The result of this activity is the mindset change of society about entrepreneur opportunity base of dairy cow product and society’s motivation improvement after got treatment in the form of group mentoring. The success of this program is demonstrated by the improvement of society’s motivation through data analysis before and after program implementation. It can be concluded that group mentoring is an effective method to improve the entrepreneurship motivation of dairy farmer group. Through collaborative group mentoring, participants can interact well, appreciate each other, the atmosphere of learning is comfortable, and positive dependence, thus occurs positive implications on entrepreneurship motivation. Keyword : Entrepreneurship Motivation, Farmer, Group Mentoring.

Abstract

This research aims to develop, measures the feasibility, and implements STEM-based Encyclopedia to train the literacy of elementary school students. This study uses a 4D development model from Thiagarajan. The subjects were students in grades 4, 5, and 6 of the teachers at Muhammadiyah Pepe Elementary School, Yogyakarta. Encyclopedias were tested on students and teachers after proper approval by material experts, linguists, and media experts. Data obtained through questionnaires, interviews, field notes and observations. The validation results show that the Encyclopedia is worth using to support the literacy program. The results of the small group trial received a value of 95 (very good), the large group trial received a score of 92 (very good), and also the good application received a score of 91.5 (very good). Students find encyclopedias very interesting, easy to understand, and increase students' understanding of endangered species in Indonesia. The observations also show the use of STEM-based encyclopedias leading to the realization of competency literacy indicators. The teacher also appreciates that the encyclopedia is suitable to be used as teaching material that supports the literacy program.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the activity and student learning outcomes after applying the Learning Cycle 7E learning model. This study uses classroom action research concerning the Kemmis and Taggart models, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection, which are carried out in three cycles. Data collection methods and instruments use the guidelines for observing student activities, guidance for observing teacher activities, tests of learning outcomes, and documentation. Data analysis techniques were carried out qualitatively (display, reduction, drawing/conclusion) and quantitatively (descriptive statistics). The results showed that student activity increased from cycle I by 93%, cycle II by 96%, and cycle III by 98.5%. Student's achievement increased from 74.16% to 91.67% (cycle I to cycle III). Classically, learning is said to be complete if 80% of students have reached the minimum completeness criteria, which is 75. This research shows that the stages in the Learning Cycle 7E can significantly increase student learning activities and outcomes.

Abstract

Pendampingan Guru tentang sistem evaluasi pembelajaran berbasis higher order thinking skill merupakan bagian penting dari pengembangan kurikulum 2013 versi terbaru. Sesuai dengan strategi implementasi dari Kurikulum 2013, pelatihan ini direncanakan akan dilaksanakan pada awal tahun 2017 sampai saat ini. Strategi dimulai dengan melatih master of trainer (MOT) yang termasuk instruktur nasional, Dosen LPTK, Guru berprestasi tingkat Nasional, Pengawas, Kepala Sekolah berprestasi, Widyaiswara PPPPTK dan LPMP. Langkah berikutnya adalah melatih master trainer dari guru inti, pengawas, dan kepala sekolah baru kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pelatihan secara masal yang melibatkan guru mata pelajaran tingkat SD, SMP, dan SMA/SMK. Tahapan dari strategi kemendikbud ini tentu saja banyak hambatan. Sharing knowledge yang relatif lama dan kemungkinan-kemungkinan ketidakmerataan mungkin saja terjadi. Hal inilah yang mendorong Pengusul sebagai Dosen LPTK khususnya yang bergerak di bidang Pendidikan Dasar untuk ikut berpartisipasi dalam upaya pendampingan guru dalam menyusun soal berbasis higher order thinking skill. Upaya yang dilakukan adalah melalui pelatihan sistem evaluasi pembelajaran dn penyusunan soal berbasis higher order thinking skill. Program pendampingan ini sekaligus menjawab permasalahan yang terjadi pada mitra, dimana pemahaman para guru tentang sistem evaluasi pembelajaran berbasis higher order thinking skill masih sangat kurang. Guru belum mampu merencanakan soal berbasis HOTS serta melakukan analisis butir soal. Luaran yang diharapkan setelah program ini dilaksanakan adalah agar para guru mempunyai kemampuan teknis menyusun soal HOTS.

Abstract

The ability to recognize colors is very essential for underage children as it will trigger their sight and their brain. When children recognize colors, it will be automatically saved in their memory and thus it will influence their cognitive ability. Considering that fact, the researcher tries to use experimental method to help children recognizing colors. There for, this research aims to know the effectiveness of the experimental method in helping recognizing colors in A class of TK ABA Tobayan. This research belongs to experimental research with quasi design and pretest-posttest one group design. The researcher used verbal test and documentation as the main instrument to collect the data. The subjects of this research were seventeen students in A class of TK ABA Tobayan. The researcher analyzed the data using T test (Paired-sample t-Test) with significance rate 5%. The result showed that the value of t (38,276) > t table (df:16) (2,120) with p (0,000) < 0,05. From this result, it was know that Ha: accepted and Ho: rejected. Thus, the experimental method was proven effective to help children recognizing colors in A class of TK ABA Tobayan.

Abstract

Metacognitive skill is essential to have by every individual, including the prospective teachers' students. Some teachers who have not trained in metacognitive ability would be caused by the lack of understanding of the stages in carrying out metacognitive ability. It has not realised that metacognitive ability can affect students' learning process and learning outcome. The students who have the excellent metacognitive ability can develop metacognitive domain-oriented learning. This study aims to know the metacognitive skills of prospective primary school teachers in Universitas Ahmad Dahlan. This research used a quantitative approach to descriptive type and survey method. The samples are 100 students of elementary school educations of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan consisted of the semester II, IV, and VI. The instrument used Metacognitive Ability Inventory (MAI) with the Likert scale(1-5). Data were analysed using descriptive statistics to determine the Mean, standard deviation, percentage, and metacognitive categorisation of elementary school education students. The research result showed a low-medium range category. It influenced by some factors related to the inadequate metacognitive development of prospective primary school teachers. Judging from the cognitive knowledge aspect, the high category of the percentage calculation of cognitive knowledge aspects is in the declarative knowledge aspect. In the cognitive regulation aspect, planning becomes the highest percentage of cognitive regulation aspect.

Abstract

In the era of industrial revolution 4.0, many human activities depend on the gadget and the internet connection. We can observe the daily activities of human life right now. When they wake up in the morning, they usually start by using their handphones or gadget. This condition motivates educators to build a digital module in order to use the positive point of view of the Industry Revolution 4.0 era. In this chance, the researchers develop two topics that are very important for human life in Industry Revolution 4.0, whicht are, human literacy and technology literacy. Both of the topics were derived into two-courses. The course of development of students (Perkembangan Peserta Didik) will be representing the human literacy topics and the course of introduction to Biotechnology (pengantar bioteknologi) will be representing the technology literacy topic. The research is research and development. Furthermore, the products of this research are flipbooks that were uploaded on the Learning Management System managed by Universitas Ahmad Dahlan.
