Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to describe in depth the learning experience and the effectiveness of using problem-based learning in fostering students’ capacity for critical thinking at Sidorejo Lor 03 Primary School in Salatiga City. Methodology: This research employs a qualitative methodology with a phenomenological design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with teachers and learners, participatory observation during the learning process, and documentary analysis of related learning materials. Results: The study reveals that problem-based learning provides meaningful learning experiences and significantly enhances students' critical thinking skills. Through real-world problem scenarios, learners become more active in finding information, analyzing problems, and evaluating solutions. Additionally, they demonstrate improved communication, collaboration, and creativity. Applications/Originality/Value: These findings highlight the effectiveness of problem-based learning as an instructional strategy to develop 21st-century skills especially critical thinking in elementary education. Abstract

This study aims to determine the management of character education through habituation at Muhammadiyah Darul Arqom Karanganyar High School in 2021. This research is a qualitative research Research design using phenomenological design or design. The research was carried out at Muhammadiyah Darul Arqom Karanganyar High School which was addressed at Tegalasri RT 05 RW VI, Bejen, Karanganyar from June to December 2021. This study used primary data and secondary data. The data sources of this study were obtained through three sources, namely the principal, teachers, and students. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, observations and documentation. the validity of the data by using triangulation and data analysis techniques using interactive . the results showed . The form of habituation program planned by Muhammadiyah Darul Arqom Karanganyar High School in supporting character education is through habituation methods in accordance with the vision and mission of the school so that the Realization of the Islamic Generation of Berakhlakul Karimah and Intellectuals. In addition, in the preparation of planning this habituation method, the principal and the curriculum do not run alone. All school parties, including students, teachers, administrative staff and the school quality assurance team participated in the process of making habituation methods so that they would run or be used in schools. Then the principal certifies what has been decided at the time of the meeting to establish such a habituation method. The implementation of the habituation program in supporting character education at Muhammadiyah Darul Arqom Karanganyar High School is by carrying out disciplinary activities carried out by students by entering school before 07.00. doing 5 S both inside the school environment and outside the school, tadarus, the implementation of infaq which is carried out in each class by collecting sincere money which is carried out every Friday, congregational dhuhur prayers, extracurricular activities and carrying out annual habituation, namely like the ramdhan activities. The form of evaluation of character education through habituation at Muhammadiyah Darul Arqom Karanganyar High School Evaluation of the implementation of character education through habituation is carried out by the principal, school committee and teachers using data on activity reports, activity schedules, as well as by looking at the accountability of the implementing officer, as well as accountability for the use of finances in financing activities. The results of the evaluation of the implementation of the character education program through habituation at Muhammadiyah Darul Arqom Karanganyar High School for the 2020/2021 school year have been broadly achieved and can run optimally.

Abstract

This research is to find out and examine the "Analysis of the Implementation of Independent Curriculum in Mobilizing Schools SDN Kartasura 02 This research was conducted using a phenomenological approach. This type of research is qualitative research that looks at and hears closer and detailed explanations and individual understanding of their experiences. The phenomenological approach is based on the researcher's interest in studying more deeply the phenomena experienced by key informants. The research was conducted at SDN Kartasura 02.. Informants in this study were teachers, principals, supervisors. Collection The data was collected using several techniques, namely; (a) observation, (b) interviews, and (c) documentation study. To ensure the validity of the data, several efforts were made as follows: (a) extending the data collection period, (b) conducting direct observation constantly and seriously, (c) triangulating, and (d) involving colleagues to discuss. From the results of the study in this study, it was found that there was an independent curriculum which was used as a reference in driving schools, which produced students who had noble character, were independent, reasoned critically, were creative, gotong royong, and had a sense of diversity. The driving school principal encourages a variety of participatory, unique, and many innovative programs. Fostering cooperation with teachers who support their leaders to participate in realizing driving schools.

Abstract

This study aims to form a creative dimension in students by using the KARIN application (Indonesian Youth Work). This application is expected to be able to form a creative dimension in students. The KARIN application (Indonesian Youth Work) is an android application that functions to channel students' ideas by writing simple articles. This application has 4 screens, namely the Main Screen which contains instructions for using and starting the application. The second screen is the main screen which displays two options, namely the copyright of the work and the collection of works. The third screen, when students select copyrighted works, they will be transferred to select copyrighted works, namely students write what they want to write. The last screen contains a collection of works, students can see the results from one friend to another. This study uses the R&D method using the 4D approach which is condensed into 3D. The tests carried out in this study were media tests and application effectiveness tests. The media test gets a score of 81 with a very valid category. The effectiveness test got a score of 67.52, this value is included in the good category.

Abstract

Motivasi belajar dan prestasi akademik siswa sekolah dasar merupakan dua aspek penting yang menentukan keberhasilan proses pendidikan, khususnya dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila yang menekankan pada nilai-nilai karakter bangsa. Namun, rendahnya keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran menjadi tantangan yang harus diatasi dengan pendekatan yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh penggunaan media audio visual terhadap motivasi belajar dan prestasi akademik siswa serta menganalisis peran motivasi belajar sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 200 siswa kelas V dari beberapa sekolah dasar dalam satu Dabin. Instrumen berupa angket skala Likert dianalisis melalui uji validitas, reliabilitas, asumsi klasik, regresi linear berganda, dan uji Sobel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media audio visual berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Namun, prestasi akademik tidak menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar, dan tidak berperan sebagai variabel mediasi. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya integrasi media audio visual yang tepat dan menarik dalam proses pembelajaran sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan semangat belajar siswa. Kata kunci: media audio visual, motivasi belajar, prestasi akademik, Pendidikan Pancasila, siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Motivasi memainkan peran vital dalam kegiatan belajar. Rendahnya motivasi menyebabkan prestasi belajar siswa menurun. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana keterlibatan orang tua dan motivasi belajar mempengaruhi prestasi akademik pada kelas Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) di sekolah menengah kejuruan. Penelitian ini berjenis korelasional dan dilakukan di beberapa SMK di Kecamatan Gemolong Kabupaten Sragen. Populasi terdiri dari 2.534 peserta didik dari lima sekolah, dengan sampel sebanyak 244 peserta didik. Informasi prestasi belajar PPKn diperoleh melalui dokumentasi, sedangkan informasi motivasi belajar dan perhatian orang tua diperoleh melalui angket. Uji t dan uji F digunakan dalam analisis data untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh parsial dan simultan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan adanya korelasi yang kuat dan baik antara prestasi belajar PPKn, fokus orang tua, dan motivasi belajar. Perhatian orang tua dan motivasi belajar memberikan kontribusi sebesar 23% terhadap kisaran ketuntasan belajar PPKn, sedangkan faktor yang tidak termasuk dalam penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi sebesar 77% terhadap variasi tersebut. Penelitian ini menyarankan untuk melihat variabel tambahan yang mempengaruhi prestasi belajar PKn secara lebih rinci.

Abstract

The implementation of ecoliteracy in elementary schools is an important strategy in shaping students' green behavior from an early age as part of character education and ecological awareness. This study aims to describe the application of ecoliteracy in improving students' green behavior at SD Negeri Gumpang 01, a school that has won the Adiwiyata School award at the Central Java Province level. The method used was descriptive qualitative research with a naturalistic approach, involving the principal, teachers, and students as research subjects. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, with interactive analysis techniques and triangulation of sources and methods to ensure data validity. The results showed that the implementation of ecoliteracy was carried out through integration in the local wisdom-based curriculum, project-based learning, extracurricular activities, collaboration with parents and communities, and utilization of media and technology. This strategy clearly encourages increased student self-awareness, changes in attitudes and habits, and a growing sense of social responsibility for the environment. The implementation of ecoliteracy not only increases students' understanding of the importance of protecting the ecosystem, but also internalizes ecological values into daily life. Thus, learning integrated with environmental values can form a sustainable school culture. Abstract

This study investigates contemporary Islamic legal perspectives on qualification policy in Indonesia, with particular attention to the formulation and implementation of standards for public and religious office. It examines how key actors—religious leaders, bureaucratic officials, and academics—perceive, interpret, and respond to these policies within the framework of Sharī‘ah values. Adopting a qualitative, field-based research approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis across selected governmental and religious institutions. The findings reveal a persistent tension between the normative principles of Islamic law—such as justice (al-‘adl), public interest (maṣlaḥah), and competence (kifāyah)—and the political realities influencing qualification policies, which are often shaped by administrative logic and pragmatic interests. Although policy discourse frequently invokes the integration of Islamic values, implementation in practice demonstrates that bureaucratic dominance frequently marginalizes substantive Islamic ethical principles. This research contributes to contemporary Islamic legal scholarship by illustrating the interaction between Sharī‘ah principles and legal-political practices in Indonesia. It also provides a normative-critical analytical framework for developing qualification policies that are more just, inclusive, and firmly anchored in Sharī‘ah values while remaining compatible with modern governance structures.

Abstract

This study aims to see the influence of mass media and police integrity on public trust in police law enforcement institutions. In today's digital era, mass media not only functions as a source of information, but also as a place for public opinion to be formed and widely disseminated, while the integrity of the Police is one of the factors in maintaining public trust. This study uses a type of research in the form of quantitative research with a correlational design. A sample of 270 respondents was selected purposively, namely people aged 17-45 years and domiciled in Surakarta City. Data were collected using a questionnaire that had previously gone through a process of testing the validity and reliability of the objectives so that the data collected was accurate and consistent. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to test the influence of the variables of mass media coverage and police integrity (independent) on the variable of public trust (dependent), data analysis was assisted using software in the form of SPPS version 27. The findings of this study reveal that each independent variable has an influence on the dependent variable. Media coverage contributes 13.9% to public trust. The variable of police integrity also shows a significant influence, contributing 59.8% to public trust. Meanwhile, the combined influence of media coverage and police integrity contributes 81% to public trust in law enforcement institutions, with the remaining 19% influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile in the critical reasoning dimension in learning Mathematics grade IV at Inpres 12 Prafi Manokwari Elementary School. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study are students and teachers of grade IV elementary school Inpres 12 Prafi Manokwari. The data collection technique uses observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The data analysis technique using Miles and Huberman includes four stages: 1) Data collection, 2) Data reduction, 3) Data presentation, and 4) Conclusion. The results of the study show that the application of critical reasoning has been applied by teachers and fourth-grade students. The application of the critical reasoning dimension has fulfilled all aspects, including: 1) Obtaining and processing information and ideas, 2) Analyzing and evaluating reasoning, and 3) Reflecting and evaluating one's own thoughts. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile with a critical reasoning dimension in learning Mathematics in grade IV of SD Inpres 12 Prafi Manokwari has been carried out very well.
