Abstract

Di era revolusi 4.0, siswa diminta untuk menjadi inovatif, kreatif, dan inspiratif agar mereka dapat berkontribusi kepada masyarakat setelah lulus. Diharapkan bahwa siswa memiliki kemampuan kreativitas dan semangat kewirausahaan untuk mengatasi masalah saat mereka lulus sekolah dan terjun ke masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan semangat kewirausahaan siswa. Terdapat tiga tahap dalam proses yang digunakan: (1) pra-perencanaan, di mana masalah diidentifikasi setelah melakukan observasi ke sekolah; (2) perencanaan, menyusun proposal dan menetapkan tindakan berdasarkan hasil pra-perencanaan; dan (3) pelaksanaan pelatihan, di mana sosialisasi dilakukan dengan memberikan materi dan bimbingan saat praktek ditransfer ke foto.

Abstract

Pineapple (Ananas comosus (L.) Merr) is a Bromeliaceae plant. Pineapple plants are widely cultivated in several countries, and Indonesia is one of the largest producers of pineapples. This study aims to determine the optimal height of the growing place for the quality of honey pineapple. The research was carried out at the Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Gunung Jati Swadaya University, in July-August 2024. The research used the purposive sampling method, data processing was done using a complete random design, and further BNT tests were performed. The experimental factors carried out were the altitude of the observation location, namely 1019 m above sea level (high), 643 m above sea level (medium), and 384 m above sea level (low). The study results showed that the height of the place had a natural effect on the quality of honey pineapple. The heaviest fruit weight (566.64 grams) was obtained on plants at 643 m above sea level (medium altitude). The highest dissolved density is produced in plants at an altitude of 643 m above sea level. The highest vitamin C and water content levels are produced in plants at 1019 m above sea level. The highest anthocyanin levels (0.01700) were obtained in plants at an altitude of 643 m above sea level, and the most extended shelf life was produced in plants at 384 m above sea level (lowlands)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of different altitudes on the quality of Gedong Gincu mango fruit, and to determine which altitude has better quality of Gedong Gincu mango fruit. The research was conducted at the Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati Cirebon, West Java. The research was conducted from July to August 2024. The research method used was the survey method, covering Jatibarang District (Krasak Village, Pawidean, and Jati Sawit) as a lowland, and Greged District (Gemulung Tonggoh Village, Jati Pancur, and Lebak Mekar) as a highland. From each altitude, 30 Gedong Gincu mangoes were taken. Variables measured included weight loss, fruit hardness, fruit diameter, total soluble solids, vitamin C content, and organoleptic test. Data were analyzed using two independent samples t-test, and Wilcoxon test for organoleptic. The results showed that differences in altitude made a difference to the 4th day weight loss, total soluble solids content, 4th day vitamin C content, 1st and 4th day hardness, as well as on taste, aroma and consumer preference. Gedong Gincu mango fruit from the lowlands had higher weight loss and total soluble solids than those from the highlands, while vitamin C content and hardness of Gedong Gincu mango fruit from the lowlands were lower than those from the highlands. The flavor and aroma parameters of highland Gedong Gincu mango fruit were preferred over Gedong Gincu mango fruit from the lowlands.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate investment dowries in marriage by focusing on their definition, legal aspects, and practical implementation, particularly in the context of Article 31 of the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI). Utilizing methods of legal document analysis and literature review, the study examines the legal norms governing marriage and investment dowries as outlined in Article 31 of the KHI. The results of this study are expected to provide an in-depth understanding of the concept and legal provisions related to investment dowries in marriage, with a focus on the perspective of Article 31 of the KHI. By involving surveys of participants with experience or knowledge of investment dowry practices, the research also explores the practical implementation of such practices in society. This study contributes both conceptually and practically by detailing the legal perspectives contained in Article 31 of the KHI and providing insights into how the implementation of investment dowries can influence marital dynamics and family finances. Thus, this research not only delves into the legal aspects but also offers a practical understanding of how investment dowries are interpreted and implemented in societal life, particularly concerning the regulations within Article 31 of the KHI.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPendahuluan: Pemakaian gigi tiruan setiap hari membutuhkan pembersihan dengan menggunakan beberapa metode. Metode pembersihan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode kimiawi dengan cara perendaman dalam bahan pembersih gigi tiruan larutan ekstrak pandan wangi (Pandanus amaryllifolius Roxb.). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh perendaman basis gigi tiruan nilon termoplastik dalam larutan ekstrak pandan wangi dengan konsentrasi 25%, 50% dan 75% terhadap stabilitas warna selama 61 jam. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian laboratorium dengan ukuran nilon 20x3 mm berdasarkan ISO 1567. Total sampel sebanyak 24 sampel dibagi 4 kelompok, yaitu kelompok A direndam dalam akuades, dan kelompok B,C,D larutan ekstrak pandan wangi dengan konsentrasi 25%, 50% dan 75% direndam selama 61 jam. Rumus besar sampel menggunakan rumus Federer, kemudian uji stabilitas warna menggunakan alat colorimeter CS-10, lalu lihat hasil jika ΔE<3,5 dianggap masih dapat diterima secara klinis, jika ΔE>3,5 menunjukkan perubahan warna dapat terlihat secara kasat mata dan tidak dapat diterima secara klinis. Hasil: Hasil rerata uji stabilitas warna didapati hanya konsentrasi 25% yang dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif bahan pembersih gigi tiruan dengan nilai 3,04±0,51 yang menyatakan kelompok 25% mencapai nilai ΔE<3,5. Berdasarkan hasil uji one-way ANOVA didapatkan nilai p=0,0001 sehingga dinyatakan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara perendaman nilon pada kelompok konsentrasi dengan stabilitas warna. Simpulan: Penggunaan larutan ekstrak pandan wangi sebagai pembersih gigi tiruan dapat memengaruhi stabilitas warna, namun hanya konsentrasi 25% yang masih dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pembersih, karena masih berada dalam rentang nilai yang dapat diterima secara klinis.KATA KUNCI: Larutan ekstrak pandan wangi, nilon termoplastik, stabilitas warna.Immersion effect of thermoplastic nylon denture base material in pandan wangi extract solution (Pandanus amaryllifolius Roxb.) as a cleaner on color stability: experimental study ABSTRACT Introduction: Wearing dentures every day must be cleaned using several methods. The methods such as mechanical, chemical and combination. The cleaning method used in this research was a chemical method by immersing the nylon material in the denture cleaning material with pandan wangi extract solution (Pandanus amaryllifolius Roxb.). The aim of this study was to analyze the effect of immersion thermoplastic nylon in pandan wangi extract solution as a cleaner on color stability with concentrations of 25%, 50% and 75% for 61 hours. Methods: This study is a laboratory experimental with a size of 20x3 mm based on ISO 1567 as many as 24 samples divided into 4 groups, nylon group A was immersed in aquadest, and group B,C,D was immersed in pandan wangi extract solution with a concentration of 25%, 50% and 75% for 61 hours. The sample size formula used is the Federer formula, then measure color stability with colorimeter CS-10, then look at the results if ΔE<3,5 is considered clinically acceptable, if the ΔE>3.5 indicates color change or significant color change. visible to the naked eye and not clinically acceptable. Results: The mean results of the color stability test showed that only 25% concentration could be used as an alternative denture cleaning agent with a value of 3,04±0,51, which states that the 25% group achieved a ΔE<3,5. The results of a one-way ANOVA test, the value of p=0,0001 was stated that there was a significant effect between nylon immersion in the concentration group on color stability. Conclusion: The use of pandan wangi extract solution as a denture cleaning agent can affect the color stability of the nylon material, however, only a solution with a concentration of 25% can be used as an alternative denture cleaning agent, because it is still within the clinically acceptable value range. Abstract

ABSTRAKPendahuluan: Penggunaan soft denture liner (SDL) jangka panjang dapat menciptakan lingkungan anaerobik di rongga mulut, yang mendukung pertumbuhan Candida albicans dan meningkatkan risiko denture stomatitis. Natrium hipoklorit 0,5% efektif menghambat pertumbuhan ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perendaman dan perbedaan pengaruh lama perendaman SDL berbahan dasar silikon dalam natrium hipoklorit terhadap penyerapan air dan stabilitas warna selama 2,5 dan 5 hari. Metode: Rancangan penelitian adalah eksperimental laboratoris dengan 24 sampel SDL (15×2 mm) dibagi menjadi 4 kelompok. Kelompok A dan C direndam dalam natrium hipoklorit 0,5%, sedangkan B dan D dalam akuades selama 2,5 dan 5 hari. Penyerapan air diukur dengan timbangan analitik, dan stabilitas warna diuji dengan colorimeter CS-10. Analisis data menggunakan uji T independen. Hasil: Berdasarkan uji T Independen  terdapat pengaruh  signifikan pada perendaman SDL dalam natrium hipoklorit 0,5% selama 2,5 dan 5 hari terhadap penyerapan air dengan nilai p=0,005 dan p=0,0001. Terdapat pengaruh signifikan pada perendaman SDL dalam natrium hipoklorit 0,5%  selama 2,5 dan 5 hari terhadap stabilitas warna dengan nilai signifikansi keduanya p=0,0001. Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh lama perendaman antara kelompok perendaman SDL dalam natrium hipoklorit 0,5% selama 2,5 hari dengan 5 hari terhadap penyerapan air dengan nilai signifikansi p=0,0001 dan terdapat perbedaan pengaruh lama perendaman antara kelompok perendaman SDL selama 2,5 hari dengan 5 hari terhadap stabilitas warna dengan nilai signifikansi p=0,0001. Simpulan: Penggunaan natrium hipoklorit sebagai bahan pembersih SDL dapat memengaruhi penyerapan air dan stabilitas warna, konsentrasi 0,5% dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pembersih karena masih berada dalam rentang nilai yang dapat diterima secara klinisKATA KUNCI: Soft denture liner, natrium hipoklorit 0,5% , penyerapan air, stabilitas warnaImmersion Effect of Autopolymerization Silicon Soft Denture Liner in Sodium Hypochlorite Solution on Water Absorption and Color StabilityABSTRACTIntroduction: The long-term use of soft denture liner (SDL) can create an anaerobic environment in the oral cavity, which supports the growth of Candida albicans and increases the risk of denture stomatitis. Sodium hypochlorite (0.5%) is effective in inhibiting this growth. This study aims to investigate the effects of immersion and the differing durations of immersion of silicone-based SDL in sodium hypochlorite on water absorption and color stability over 2.5 and 5 days. Methods: This study is a laboratory experimental design involving 24 SDL samples (15×2 mm) divided into four groups. Groups A and C were immersed in 0.5% sodium hypochlorite, while groups B and D were immersed in distilled water for 2.5 and 5 days. Water absorption was measured using an analytical balance, and color stability was assessed with a CS-10 colorimeter. Data analysis used an independent T-test. Results: The independent T-test indicated significant effects of immersing SDL in 0.5% sodium hypochlorite for both 2.5 days and 5 days on water absorption, with p-values of 0.005 and 0.0001. There was also a significant effect on color stability for both durations, with a significance value of p=0.0001. There were significant differences in the effects of immersion duration between the 2.5-day and 5-day groups regarding both water absorption and color stability, with significance values of p=0.0001. Conclusion: The use of sodium hypochlorite as a SDL cleaner can affect water absorption and color stability; a 0.5% concentration can be used as a cleaning agent because it remains within a clinically acceptable range.KEY WORDS: Soft denture liner, 0.5% sodium hypochlorite, water absorption, color stability

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pendahuluan: Gigi artifisial resin akrilik polimerisasi panas memiliki fungsi estetis yang sangat diperhatikan terutama pada bagian anterior, namun salah satu kekurangan gigi artifisial tersebut adalah perubahan warna yang dapat terjadi seiring berjalannya waktu. Mengonsumsi kopi dan teh telah menjadi kebiasaan bagi penduduk Indonesia, kopi dan teh banyak digemari karena dapat dinikmati kapan saja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perendaman gigi artifisial resin akrilik polimerisasi panas dalam minuman kopi konsentrasi 0,7%, 1,4%, dan teh konsentrasi 0,9% selama 7 hari terhadap perubahan warna. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimental laboratoris dengan 32 sampel gigi artifisial resin akrilik polimerisasi panas insisivus sentralis yang ditanam pada lempengan basis gigi tiruan resin akrilik polimerisasi panas dengan ukuran 20 mm x 20 mm x 6 mm dengan permukaan labial menghadap ke atas dan terbagi menjadi 4 kelompok (perendaman dalam A akuades, B minuman kopi konsentrasi 0,7%, C minuman kopi konsentrasi 1,4%, dan D minuman teh konsentrasi 0,9% selama 7 hari). Data dianalisis dengan uji ANOVA satu arah dan dilanjutkan uji LSD. Hasil: Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh antara kelompok C dengan kelompok D terhadap perubahan warna gigi artifisial resin akrilik polimerisasi panas (p<0,05) dan tidak terdapat perbedaan pengaruh antara kelompok B dengan kelompok C (p>0,05) serta antara kelompok B dengan kelompok D terhadap perubahan warna gigi artifisial resin akrilik polimerisasi panas (p>0,05). Simpulan: Minuman kopi dan teh dapat menyebabkan perubahan warna gigi artifisial resin akrilik polimerisasi panas dengan minuman kopi merupakan minuman yang memiliki pengaruh paling besar, namun nilai perubahan warna yang dihasilkan masih berada dalam rentang nilai perubahan warna yang masih dapat diterima secara klinis KATA KUNCI: Gigi artifisial resin akrilik polimerisasi panas, minuman kopi dan teh, perubahan warna.Effect of heat-polymerized acrylic artificial teeth immersion in coffee and tea drinks on color change: experimental studyABSTRACT Introduction: Heat-polymerized acrylic resin artificial teeth have a very important aesthetic function, especially in the anterior teeth, but one of the disadvantaged is color changes that occur gradually over time. Consuming coffee and tea drinks has became a habit for Indonesians, because they can be enjoyed at any time. This study aims to determine the effect of immersion heat-polymerized acrylic resin artificial teeth in 0,7%, 1,4% coffee drinks, and 0,9% tea drinks for 7 days on color changes. Methods: This research is an experimental laboratory. The sample consisted of 32 central incisor heat-polymerized acrylic resin artificial teeth placed in a 20 mm x 20 mm x 6 mm cylinder heat-polymerized acrylic resin denture base with the labial surface facing up and divided into 4 groups (immersion in A distilled water, B 0,7% coffee drinks, C 1,4% coffee drinks, and D 0,9% tea drinks for 7 days). Data were analyzed by one-way ANOVA and continued with the LSD test. Results: There is a significant difference between heat-polymerized acrylic resin artificial teeth immersion in group C and group D on the color change (p<0.05) and there is no significant difference between heat-polymerized acrylic resin artificial teeth immersion in group B and group C (p>0.05) and also between group B and group D on the color change (p>0.05). Conclusion: Coffee and tea drinks can cause color change in heat-polymerized acrylic artificial teeth, which coffee drinks have the greatest effect in color change, however the range of color change value is still acceptable clinically.KEY WORDS: Heat-polymerized crylic artificial teeth, coffee and tea drinks, color change.

ABSTRAKPendahuluan: Gigi artifisial resin akrilik adalah pengganti gigi asli yang telah hilang dan merupakan komponen terpenting dari gigi tiruan dalam memulihkan fungsi estetis, mastikasi dan fonetik. Pembersih gigi tiruan berbahan kimia dapat memengaruhi sifat mekanis dan fisik resin akrilik. Pembersih gigi tiruan alami digunakan sebagai alternatif untuk meminimalkan efek yang ditimbulkan oleh pembersih gigi tiruan berbahan kimia. Ekstrak daun kemangi 12,5% digunakan sebagai alternatif bahan pembersih gigi tiruan. Tujuan penelitian menganalisis pengaruh perendaman gigi artifisial resin akrilik dalam ekstrak daun kemangi 12,5% dan alkalin peroksida selama 5 hari terhadap perubahan warna. Metode: Jenis penelitian eksperimental laboratoris. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 30 gigi artifisial resin akrilik insisivus sentral rahang atas untuk diuji dengan ukuran sampel 20x20x6mm dibagi 3 kelompok perendaman yaitu perendaman dalam ekstrak daun kemangi 12,5%; alkalin peroksida; aquabides. Perubahan warna diukur menggunakan colorimeter pada permukaan labial gigi artifisial. Hasil data dianalisis dengan uji One-way Anova dan dilanjutkan dengan uji LSD Hasil: Nilai rerata perubahan warna gigi artifisial resin akrilik setelah direndam dalam ekstrak daun kemangi 12,5% selama 5 hari = ∆E 1,86±0,17, alkalin peroksida = ∆E 3,48±0,21 ,dan aquades = ∆E 1,20±0,15 dengan nilai p=0,0001(p<0,05). Simpulan: Terdapat pengaruh perendaman gigi artifisial resin akrilik dalam ekstrak daun kemangi 12,5% dan alkalin peroksida selama 5 hari terhadap perubahan warna. Ekstrak daun kemangi 12,5% dapat digunakan sebagai bahan alternatif pembersih gigi tiruan karena perubahan warna yang terjadi masih dalam rentang nilai yang diterima secara klinis pada resin akrilik.KATA KUNCI: gigi artifisial resin akrilik;ekstrak kemangi;perubahan warna.The effect of immersion acrylic resin artificial teeth in basil leaves extract on color changesABSTRACTIntroduction: Acrylic resin artificial teeth are a substitute for natural teeth that have been lost and are the most important component of dentures in restoring aesthetic, masticatory and phonetic functions. Denture cleansers made from chemicals can affect the mechanical and physical properties of acrylic resin. Natural denture cleansers are used as an alternative to minimize the effects caused by chemical denture cleansers. 12.5% basil leaves extract was used as an alternative denture cleansers. This study  aimed to analyse the effect of immersing acrylic resin artificial teeth in 12.5% basil leaves extract and alkaline peroxide for 5 days on color changes. Methods: This research was an experimental laboratory. The samples used were 30 maxillary central incisor acrylic resin artificial teeth 20x20x6mm divided into 3 immersion groups: in 12.5% basil leaves extract; alkaline peroxide; and aquabides. The color change of the sample was measured using colorimeter at the  labial surface of the artificial teeth. The results of the data were analyzed by One-way Anova and continued with LSD test. Results: The mean value of color change acrylic resin artificial teeth after immersion in 12.5% basil leaves extract for 5 days = ∆E 1,86±0,17, alkaline peroxide = ∆E 3,48±0,21, and aquabides = ∆E 1,20±0,15  with a value of p=0.0001(p<0.05). Conclusion: There was an effect of immersing artificial teeth in acrylic resin in 12.5% basil leaves extract and alkaline peroxide for 5 days on discoloration. 12.5% basil leaves extract can be used as an alternative denture cleansers because the discoloration that occur were still within the standard range of color changes.KEY WORDS: acrylic resin artificial teeth; basil leaves extrac; color changes

Abstract

ABSTRAKPendahuluan: Gigi artifisial resin akrilik merupakan salah satu komponen gigi tiruan sebagai pengganti gigi asli yang telah hilang dan digunakan untuk memulihkan fungsi pengunyahan, fungsi bicara, dan estetik. Pembersihan gigi tiruan diperlukan agar terhindar dari kolonisasi mikroorganisme yang dapat menyebabkan denture stomatitis. Bahan pembersih alami digunakan sebagai alternatif untuk meminimalkan efek yang ditimbulkan oleh pembersih gigi tiruan berbahan kimia yang dapat memengaruhi sifat fisik resin akrilik seperti kekasaran permukaan. Ekstrak daun kemangi 12,5% digunakan sebagai alternatif bahan pembersih gigi tiruan. Tujuan penelitian menganalisis pengaruh nilai kekasaran permukaan gigi artifisial resin akrilik yang direndam dengan ekstrak daun kemangi 12,5%. Metode: Jenis penelitian eksperimental laboratoris. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 30 gigi artifisial resin akrilik insisivus sentral rahang atas, disatukan dengan basis berbentuk persegi ukuran 20x20x6 mm, dibagi 3 kelompok perendaman yaitu perendaman dalam ekstrak daun kemangi 12,5%; alkalin peroksida; dan akuabides. Pengukuran menggunakan alat profilometer pada permukaan labial gigi artifisial. Hasil data dianalisis dengan uji One-way Anova. Hasil: Nilai rerata kekasaran permukaan gigi artifisial resin akrilik setelah direndam dalam ekstrak daun kemangi 12,5% selama 5 hari adalah 0,246 ± 0,033 µm, alkalin peroksida adalah 0,266 ± 0,016 µm, dan akuabides adalah 0,199 ± 0,020 µm dengan nilai p=0,0001(p<0,05). Methods: This research was an experimental laboratory. The samples used were 30 maxillary central incisor acrylic resin artificial teeth, combined with a square-shaped base measuring 20x20x6 mm, divided into 3 immersion groups: 10 in 12.5% basil leaves extract; 10 in alkaline peroxide; and 10 in aquabides. Measurement using a profilometer on the labial surface of artificial teeth. The results of the data were analyzed by One-way Anova. Results: The average surface roughness of acrylic resin artificial teeth after immersion in 12.5% basil leaves extract for 5 days was 0,246 ± 0,033 µm, alkaline peroxide 0,266 ± 0,016 µm, and aquabides 0,199 ± 0,020 µm with a value of p=0.0001(p<0.05). Abstract

Garut Regency, sleep disorders in pregnant women are around 67% while in Sukamukti Health Center, the incidence of sleep disorders is even higher, reaching 70%. The impact of poor sleep quality is not only felt by the mother, but can also affect the fetus. One way to overcome sleep disorders in pregnant women is progressive relaxation. This technique involves systematic control of muscle tension by calming the mind and body, which can ultimately improve sleep quality. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of progressive muscle relaxation on the sleep quality of pregnant women in the third trimester. This study used a quasi-experimental with a pre-test - post-test with control group design. The population in the study were all pregnant women in the third trimester with sleep disorders. The number of samples in this study was 36 and was divided into two groups, namely 18 people in the experimental group and 18 people in the control group. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon test. The results of the study obtained the sleep quality of pregnant women in the experimental group before being given the intervention of 13.5 and after being given the intervention became 6.28. In the control group during the first visit it was 13.06 to 12.89 on the second visit. The bivariate results obtained a p-value of 0.000, meaning that there is a significant effect of progressive muscle relaxation on the sleep quality of pregnant women in the third trimester. This study is expected to provide a safe and effective non-pharmacological alternative to improve sleep quality during pregnancy, in addition it is also expected to increase scientific insight into the effectiveness of progressive relaxation techniques in improving sleep quality, especially in pregnant women in the third trimester.
