Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) is a microbial infection that enters the respiratory tract within a maximum of 14 days. ARI has long-term consequences for children, one of which can inhibit their growth. In the long term, this infection can inhibit growth, and infections that are not treated properly can be fatal. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide an understanding to the community about what is meant by respiratory tract examination in children, factors that cause ARI, characteristics and symptoms of ARI, steps to prevent ARI, and how to treat and care for ARI. This activity method is carried out using a health education method based on lecture discussions on ARI and is carried out within a period of 60 minutes. The counseling material includes symptoms of ARI, steps to prevent ARI, and actions that must be taken if someone experiences these symptoms. The results of the counseling on preventing ARI went well and the enthusiasm of the community was seen when discussing with the resource person. In this community service activity, there was a pre-test, 70% of the community had poor knowledge about ARI. After being given disease prevention education ARI, community knowledge increased during the post-test by 80%. Suggestions from the community service group to the Tanjung Kurung village community with the education that has been provided, it is hoped that the incidence of ARI can be reduced, so that the quality of public health
