Abstract

Compounds that are often used by society in controlling fly populations are chemical insecticides. Inappropriate use of chemical insecticides will harm the environment and human health directly and long term, such as poisoning, respiratory disorders, resistance to insects and environmental pollution. One other alternative to control house flies is organic insecticide that it is basic ingredients come from nature. The purposes of this study were for analyze the effectiveness of organic insecticides in controlling house fly vectors, to determine the concentration of LC 50% organic insecticides to house flies and to find out the impact of organic insecticides on environmental and economic aspects. This study used an experimental method and a completely randomized design (CRD) with four different treatments, namely control, 10% betel leaf extract + 4 ml EM4, 20% betel leaf extract + 4 ml EM4 and 30% betel leaf extract + 4 ml EM4. Each treatment was carried out with three replications. The results of the analysis showed the least amount of mortality of house fly in the control treatment ie one house fly, while the highest average of house flies mortality are 30% betel leaf extract treatment + 4 ml EM4 that are 8.66 house flies. Based on the ANOVA test, the p value <0.05 was concluded that the mean of the four research treatments differed significantly. Based on probit analysis, it was found that the concentration of LC 50% in house flies was 13.09%. Organic insecticide in terms of environment and economy has a positive impact, it can reduce odor in organic waste and has economic value compared to chemical insecticides.

Abstract

Background and Objectives : Sanitation is an effort to prevent disease by eliminating or controlling environmental risk factors which are the chain of disease transmission. This study aims to analyze the ship sanitation component based on the regulation of the minister of health and add two other components, namely the knowledge of the crew and the role of port health workers. Material and Method : Ships are water vehicles of any type and type that are driven by mechanical power, wind power or delayed including dynamic supporting vehicles. The analysis used in this study is inferential statistical analysis namely ANOVA to see the role of two other indicators (knowledge of X4 crew and the role of health workers X5) in addition to 14 indicators according to the minister of health regulations consisting of Food Sanitation (X1), Water Sanitation (X2 ), Waste Management (X3), Shipbuilding Knowledge (X4), Role of Health Workers (X5). Results : Statistically using ANOVA as a whole there is a significant effect on Ship Sanitation, but after further testing after ANOVA there were several pair of indicators that did not significantly influence the pair X14 and X45. As we know that, the instrument used in the scientific study of this study is a questionnaire that was built from indicators on the checklist of vessel sanitation hygiene checks. If further analysis shows that the ABK knowledge indicator (X4) that has existed so far is often overlooked because there is almost no supporting facility in providing short training (courses) to ship crews in improving competence in the shipping sector. Conclusion : Based on post ANOVA analysis of five indicators, ABK knowledge indicators are very insignificant because of the very lack of facilities or those responsible for accommodating ship crews to improve competence, so that their understanding of ship sanitation which is a prerequisite for obtaining yacht permits has no role important as issued by the regulation of the health minister of the Republic of Indonesia.

Abstract

Sistem pembelajaran langsung, menyebabkan siswa pasif dalam belajar, inovasi dan kreatifitas siswa tidak dapat dioptimalkan, pembelajaran menjemukan. Akibatnya hasil belajar yang dicapai siswa juga tidak optimal. Mengatasi masalah tersebut dicoba melalui penelitian yang diarahkan dalam Kompentensi dasar yang berjudul ”Penerpaan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Snowball Throwing pada materi shalat jenazah di kelas XI-BSM SMK Negeri 2 Banda Aceh”. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing pada materi shalat jenazah terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar di kelas XI-BSM SMK Negeri 2 Banda Aceh. Pengkajian dilakukan melalui jenis penelitian dengan menggunakan data. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI-BSM SMK Negeri 2 Banda Aceh yang berjumlah 21 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui Tes, menggunakan 15 soal Essay. Dari hasil penilaian tersebut, ternyata hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan, yaitu dari 33,3% (10 siswa) pada pra siklus dan 66,7% (20 siswa) siklus I menjadi 96,7% pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing di SMK Negeri 2 Banda Aceh pada kelas X BSMdapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materishalat jenazah.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran kooperatif tipe snowball throwing, hasil belajar.

Abstract

This research is conducted to analyze the influence of service quality and tariffs of premiums to customer satisfaction and switching intention on PT.Prudential Life Assurance Pekanbaru city.There are four latent variables in this research such as Service Quality (X1), Tariffs of Premiums (X2), Customer Satisfaction (Y1) Switching Intention (Y2). The population of this study are all customer who is still an active customer at PT. Prudential Life Assurance Pekanbaru until 2015 with a sample of 100 respondents were selected by using purposive sampling method with criteria is an active customer in Prudential Insurance, a customer who pays his / her insurance premium for a monthly or quarterly period and has been enrolled as an active customer for at least 1 year. Data are taken by giving respondents structural questionaires. Meanwhile, Path Analysis method are chosen for data analysis by SPSS version21.The result of this research shows that 1)Service Quality has a positive and significant effecttoward Customer Satisfaction,2)Tariffs of Premium has positive and significant effect toward Customer Satisfaction,3) Service Quality has negative and significant effect toward Switching Intention through Customer Satisfaction as Intervening , 4) Tariffs of Premium has negative and significant effect toward Switching Intention through Customer Satisfaction as Intervening, and 5) Customer Satisfaction has negative and significant effect toward Switching IntentonKeywords: Service Quality, Tariifs of premiums, Customer Satisfaction,and Switchimg Intention

fter deciding to become a member of a company, of course each customer will also have big expectations of the benefits or added value that will be received from the member card implementing company. One of the expectations is the existing services and facilities, with the existence of good services and facilities, the customer is less likely to switch to similar businesses or other competitors. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction and loyalty to the Pekanbaru fruit market member card holder. This study uses a quantitative approach. The sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents aimed at the holder of the Pekanbaru fruit market members in Pekanbaru City, using a sampling technique. The research instrument used a questionnaire and analyzed using Path Analysis with the help of the SPSS version 23 program. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Service quality affects customer satisfaction at Pasar Buah Pekanbaru member card holder, 2) Service quality affects Customer Loyalty to Pasar Buah Pekanbaru member card holder, 3) Customer satisfaction affects Customer Loyalty of Pasar Buah Pekanbaru member card holders, 4) Service Quality affects Customer Satisfaction mediated by Customer Loyalty to the Pasar Buah Pekanbaru member card holder.Keywords: Service Quality, Customer Satisfaction, Customer Loyalty, Member Card Holders

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of the marketing mix of services to the satisfaction and loyalty of consumers in Swiss Belinn SKA Hotel Pekanbaru. The instrument used for data collection are questionnaires. The population of this research is the entire Hotel Swiss customers Belinn SKA Pekanbaru known until 2013 amounts to 28.123 people. The sample in this research is the user services Hotel Swiss Belinn SKA Pekanbaru elected of 100 people. Data analysis techniques using Path Analysis with SPSS Software 17. Result of calculations indicate that the product has a direct influence is not significant and positive with respect to satisfaction. Price has a direct influence is not significant and negatively to satisfaction. Location has a significant direct influence on Satisfaction and positively. Promotion has a significant direct influence on satisfaction and positivel. People have a significant direct influence and positively to the satisfaction, the process has a direct influence is not significant and positive to the satisfaction. Physical Means, have a direct influence is not significant and positive to satisfaction. Service Marketing Mix have significant direct influence and positively to loyalty and satisfaction of having a significant direct influence and positive to loyalty.Keywords: service marketing mix, satisfaction, and loyalty

Abstract

This research aimed to analysze Endorser Credibility, Add Creativity on Purchase Intention and Buying Decision, research applied on consumer Yamaha Jupiter MX in Pekanbaru City.This research consists of four variables: the dependent variable, one intervening variable and two independent variables. They are Buying decision (Y2), Purchase Intention (Y1), Add Creativity (X2), and Endorser Credibility (X1). This research was conducted using a sample of 140 people. This research used purposive sampling, based on respondents who pass the criteria to fill in the questionnaire. In terms of data analysis, this research used path analysis method using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) version 20. Based on the hypothesis test conducted, research shows that Endorser Credibility, Add Creativity significant positive effect on Purchase Intention. Endorser Credibility, Add creativity and Purchase Intention have significant positive effect on Buying Decision. Endorser Credibility and Add Creativity Influence buying decisions are moderated by Purchase Intention.Keyword : Endorser Credibility, Add Creativity, Purchase Intention, Buying Decesion.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Reference Group, ProductQuality and Promotion on Buying Decision and Costumer Satisfaction in usingNestle Lactogrow Formula Milk in Pekanbaru City. The population in this studyincludes all consumers who buy and use Nestle Lactogrow Formula Milk inPekanbaru City, while totally samples in this study is 100 people. The samplingtechnique in this study is Purposive Sampling, which is the selection of samplesbased on certain criteria. Data taken from respondents using questioners. Theanalytical method used in this research is path analysis using SPSS (StatisticalPackage for Social Science) aplication. The result show that: (1) ReferenceGroup has significant effect on Buying Decision. (2) Product Quality hassignificant effect on Buying Decision. (3) Promotion has significant effect onBuying Decision. (4) Buying Decision has significant effect on CustomerSatisfaction.  ABSTRACT This Research  was conducted in Mei 2017 in the Beach Cermin, Perbaungan Sub-District, Serdang Bedagai District, North Sumatera Province. The method used in this research is survey method. The purpose of this research is to knowing the tourism activies to the coastal community economy and to know the impact of tourism activities to the coastal community social. Based on the results of research that has been conducted on the existing activities in Beach Cermin is the presence of toilet guards. For the activities in the economy is the coastal community mirrors provide leasing of facilities on the beach, such as game rental, swimming tire rental, and tent rental for a place to relax, and for activities in the existing social Beach Mirror is the appearance of art every Saturday.Keywords: impact, tourism, Serdang Bedagai district

Abstract

 Abstract          This research has been conducted in May 2018 in Air Bangis Country, Sungai Beremas River Sub, Pasaman Barat District, West Sumatera Province. This study aim to describe the practice of tradition Lom Bada Long Island community and analyze the benefits of Lom Bada tradition management system at Long Island Village, Air Bangis country. The methods used in this research is qualitative method with the fenomelogis approach, the determination of the sampling technique using information from a variety of sources.          The kind of tradition that has been carried out Long Island Village country community Air Bangis i.e 1. Any result of the income of fishermen left to sysop Lom Bada as much as 5%, 2. This tradition has been carried out since the year 1955 to the present, 4. There are values and awareness 4. There are norms of religious norms, manners, customs and norms of moral value built since yore hereditary to build the caracter of society of the importance of maintaining traditions that have existed in Jorong Long Island. Keywords: Tradition, Lom Bada,Norms, Society, Fisherman, Moral, Long Island, Air Bangis
