Abstract

ABSTRACT    This research was conducted on may 2019 in Suka Maju  Village, Rambah sub-District, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province. This study aims to determine the characteristics of fish farmers. to find out how the level of motivation of fish farmers and to analyze how the characteristics relate to the motivation of fish cultivator businesses. The method used in this study is the survey method which is analyzed using Rank Spearman and the number of respondents in this study were 25 respondents.  From the results of the research analysis, Farmers characteristics include: age, education, income, number of dependents and bussiness experience. From the results of the research analysis, it was found that the level of motivation of fish farmers is seen from 6 indicators namely 3 indicators of intrinsic motivation (willingness, hope, enthusiasm)and 3 indicators of extrinsic motivation (rewards, income, market opportunities), the more dominant indicator is the intrinsic motivation indicator with a score of 48%,and extrinsic motivation indicators 44%. The relationship of characteristics with the motivation of fish farmers stated, the relationship of intrinsic motivation related to age, education, and business experience has a significant relationship, the relationship between intrisic motivation with income and the number of family dependents is not significant. And extrinsic motivation relations related to age, education, number of family dependents and business experience have a significant relationship, the relationship between extrinsic motivation and income is not significant.        Keywords: Relationships, characteristics, motivation business, fish farmer.

Abstract

Anti-Mullerian Hormone is useful in examining folliculogenesis and ovarian abilities. Previous research found that follicular fluid and serum in PCOS women containing high AMH levels. As therapy in PCOS with insulin resistance, metformin, an insulin sensitizer agent can be given. The efficacy of metformin therapy in inducing ovulation is more due to the local action of metformin on the ovaries rather than the systemic improvements that result both metabolically and hormonally. We conducted this study to evaluate the levels of Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH) in women with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) with insulin resistance before and after metformin therapy. An analytic observational study with cross-sectional design. Seventy PCOS women with insulin resistance, taking metformin for 3 months, were enrolled in this study. Serum levels of AMH was assessed before and after treatment, and the difference between them was analyzed with student t-test. Diagnosis of PCOS is made based on Rotterdam criteria and insulin resistance by HOMA-IR calculation. This study was conducted at the Fertility and Reproductive Endocrinology Polyclinic of Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang hospital and Imaya clinic. The mean age of PCOS patients with insulin resistance ranges from 25-30 years, with a mean age of 28.61±3.883. The mean AMH levels prior metformin therapy was 7.6957±0.6001 ng/ml; mean AMH after therapy was 7.5914±0.57678 ng/ml; and there are significant differences (p <0.001). The mean AMH levels in all patients were 0.10429. Based on body mass index (BMI), a total of 52 respondents (74.29%) met the criteria for obesity and 18 respondents (25.71%) nonobese. There is a relationship between AMH levels and the number of follicles (p <0.01), with an OR of 1.5. AMH levels decreased significantly after metformin therapy in PCOS patients with insulin resistance.

Abstract

 ABSTRACT The aim of these resesrch were characteristics of fish farmers, motivation of cultivator, and corelation of characteristics wich motivation to try fish farmers floating net cages. The research was conducted in march, 2018. The method use in this reaserch with survey method. The respondens taken in this reasearch was 30 people, this research shows the carakteristics of fish farmers, age on produktive categories, education in the medium category, capital in the low category, income in the high category, number of dependents in low category, high category busness experience, the number of working hours is high category. Overall fish farmers motivation is high and charakteristik with motivation show a significant effect on income, capital, number of hours worked, and the eexsperience of busines relates to the opposite. Abstract

Abstract: This research is classroom action research that aims to improve of learning process and to improve mathematics achievement with applied the learning Search Solve Create Share (SSCS) model. The research consist of two cycles, each cycle has four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subject is student of class XI IPS 1 SMAN 1 Bangkinang Kota in academic years 2018/2019, which total to 31 students. The instruments of data collection were observation sheets and students Mathematic tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitatively, while the students Mathematic tests were analyzed in quantitatively. The qualitative descriptive showed an improvement of learning process after to the action on the first and second cycle. Most of students were very confidenced and active in learning process, they were finished mathemathic’s problems that given, presenting the result of problems and giving the conclusion of learning. Number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria increase from basic score to first test I and II. The results of this research showed an increasing of students achievement where the basic score (25,81%) to the first test (48,39%) to the second test (74,19%). For the achievement of score the first test (41,93%) to the second test (87,09%). Results of this research indicates that application of the learning SSCS model can improve learning process and increase mathematics achievement of the students at class XI IPS 1 SMAN 1 Bangkinang Kota in academic years 2018/2019 for the subject matter linear programming and matrix.Key Words : Mathematics Achievement, Search Solve Create Share (SSCS)

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve the learning process and learning outcomes math class VII A Hubbulwathan MTs Duri by applying Cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type. The subjects were students of class VII A with heterogen academic ability. This research is a class action with two cycles. Each cycle has four steps, the steps are the planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Results showed activity sheets and teacher observation of students have done well after taking action. There is an improvement in the students learning process and an increase in the number of students who achieved at UH minimum completeness criteria end of each cycle compared to the number of students who achieve minimum completeness criteria on base score. The results of this study indicate that the application of cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) can improve the process of learning and improving mathematics learning outcomes of VII A Student in the MTS Hubbulwathan Duri on first semester of academic year 2013/2014. Key words: Mathematics Learning Outcomes, Cooperative Learning, Numbered Head Together (NHT), Classroom Action Research.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve learning process and increase student’s mathematical achievement through implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research with two cycle.The research was conducted in class VII2 SMP Negeri 17 Pekanbaru in the first semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. The subject of this research consist of 33 students, there are 18 female students and 15 male students. The research instrument consists of learning materials and instruments for collecting data. Learning materials used in this research are the Syllabus, Lesson Plan and Activity Sheets. Instrument data collectors used in this research are observation sheet and mathematical achievement test. Application of PBL model also gives positive impact on the implementation of learning process that students become more active in learning activities so that learning is not centered on the teacher. Students are also trained to build their own knowledge and can find their own mathematical concepts through the presentation of problems close to the student's real life. The percentage of students which ispass Minimum Mastery Crieria (MMC) increase from 42,42% to 60,6% at the first test and to 81,8% at the second test. This research concludes that the implementation of PBL improved the learning process and the student’s mathematical achievement atclass VII2 SMP Negeri 17 Pekanbaru. PBL model can be used as an alternative to learning, because through this learning can improve the learning process and mathematical achievement of the students.Key Words: Classroom Action Research, Problem Based Learning models, Learning outcomes,Learning Process

Abstract

Abstract: This research is a class action research that aims to improve the learning process and to increase mathematics achievement from the students with applied discovery learning model. The subject of this research is the students of class XI MIA 1 MAN 1 Pekanbaru at the first semester in academic year 2018/2019, which total of participants are 31 students, consists of 11 male students and 20 female students with heterogeneous ability. This research has two cycles. Each cycle has four meetings and one test. The instruments used in this research were learning instruments and the instruments of collecting data. The learning instruments used include syllabus, lesson plan, and student work sheets, while the instruments of collecting data were observation sheets and learning outcome test. The data analysis of students and teacher activity showed that the learning process has improved after the discovery learning model being implemented. The data of the student’s evaluation test showed that the persentage of students reached the Minimum Mastery Criteria (MMC) increase from the basic score to first test, from first test to second test. The results of this research showed an increasing of students achievement where the basic score 29,0% to the first test 48,4%, the second test 74,2%. For the skills achievement score of the first test 71,0%, the second test 90,3%. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the implementation of discovery learning model can improve learning process and increase student’s mathematics achievement at class XI MIA 1 MAN 1 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Abstract :This research aims to improve the learning process and improve learning outcomes mathematicsof fourth grade students of SDN 24 Kuala Penaso Kecamatan Pinggir by implementing cooperative learning model Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS). The research subjectswere fourth grade students who have theheterogeneous academic ability. This research is a class act with two cycles. The first cycle comprises four sessions with a one time UH in the end of each cycle, end the second cycle consists of two sessions with one time UH in every end of the cycle. As well as having four stages, are planning, implementation, observation and reflection, the results showed the activity of teacher and student has exhausted resources were well after done action. On a base score of students who reach the KKM is as much as 40% of the students achieved the first UH KKM as much as 60% and UH two students who achieve the KKM as much as 85%. The results of this study indicate that the application of cooperative learning model TSTS can improve the process of learning mathematics and improve learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN 24 Kuala Penaso Kecamatan Pinggir of the odd semester of the academic year 2013/2014.Keywords: Learning Process, Mathematics Outcomes Learning, Cooperative Learning, TSTS, Classroom Action Result.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is classroom action research that aims to improve of learning process and to improve the ability of reasoning with implementation of an integrated approach to the scientific learning model problem based learning . The subject of this research is student of class X MIPA-1 SMA Negeri 4 Pekanabru in academic years 2018/2019, which total of 36 students, 13 boys and 23 girls. The research consist of two cycles, each cycle has four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instruments of data collection were observation sheets and tests of mathematical reasoning abilities. The observation sheet were analyzed by descriptive narrative analysis technique, while the mathematical reasoning ability test were analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis techniques. From qualitative analysis, Students are seen to be actively participating and increasingly independent in the learning process carried out. The results of this study indicate an increase in mathematical reasoning ability can be seen from the number of students who achieved the score in criteria good and very good increased from the base score 4 (11.1%) to the test I amounted to 17 people (47.41%) and test II amounted 29 people (80.5%). Thus it can be concluded the application of integrated scientific approach to the problem based learning learning model can improve the learning process and improve the mathematical reasoning abilities of students in class X MIPA-1 Pekanbaru SMA Negeri 4 in the odd semester of the 2017/2018 school year on the subject matter of rational inequality and irrational and SPLTV.Key Words: Mathematical Reasoning Ability, Scientific, Problem Based Learning Class Action Research

The subject of this research consist of 39 students, there are 19 male students and 20 female students. This research has two cycles with each cycle has three meetings and one test. The instruments used in this research were learning instruments and the instruments of collecting data. The learning instruments used include syllabus, lesson plan, and student work sheets. The instruments of collecting data were observation sheets and learning outcome test. The data analysis of students and teacher activity showed that the learning process has improved after the discovery learning model being implemented. The data of the student’s evaluation test showed that the persentage of students reached the Minimum Mastery Criteria (MMC) increase from the basic score to first test, from first test to second test. The results of this research showed an increasing of students achievement where the basic score 10,3% to the first test 38,5%, the second test 761,5%. For the skills achievement score of the first test 33,3%, the second test 59,0%. This research concludes that the implementation of Discovery Learning improved the learning process and the student’s mathematical achievement at class VIII5 SMP Negeri 8 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Mathematics Achievement, Discovery Learning Model, Class Action Research
