Many factors, including parents' knowledge of how to guide their children to maintain oral health, cause school-age children to often experience oral problems. Although technological advances have helped people get more information about health, they can also cause mistakes. By holding counseling, community service-based activities aim to improve the knowledge of students and parents/guardians of grade 4 of Minasa Upa State Elementary School about oral health and disseminate information about oral health through the internet. The activity was successful, with students and parents/guardians of grade 4 of Minasa Upa State Elementary School gaining better knowledge about oral health.

Background: This TMJ problem or jaw joint disorder is classified as an emergency, so treatment must be done immediately. The causes of this jaw joint problem are multifactorial. Generally divided into two, namely structural disorders and functional disorders. Functional disorders arise due to deviant function due to abnormalities in the position or function of the teeth and chewing muscles. Treatment, when someone has TMJ problems, is usually a reduction action that is carried out directly by a doctor. This cannot be done by ordinary people. However, sometimes people self-diagnose and resort to invalid sources which can actually lead to more serious problems.Method : The educational method is carried out by active counseling and discussions given to the people of Margasari Village. Then, the community was asked to fill out a questionnaire to assess the effectiveness of delivering material about this TMJ. Result: People who have filled out the questionnaire were found to have a significant difference between before and after being given the material. People become more aware of the material and are expected to be able to apply it in everyday life. Conclusion: There is a significant difference between before and after being given TMJ games

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini mengkaji tentang persepsi petani terhadap penerapan mesin tanam padi, perbandingan komparatif persepsi petani, dan hubungan antara persepsi dengan karakteristik petani terhadap penerapan mesin tanam padi di Kecamatan Indrapuri dan Kecamatan Montasik Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan persepsi petani terhadap penerapan mesin tanam padi dan melihat hubungan antara persepsi petani dengan karakteristik petani terhadap penerapan mesin tanam padi pada kedua kecamatan. Data diperoleh dari survey terhadap 40 responden petani padi yang berada pada dua kecamatan tersebut. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu model Skala Likert, Uji Mann-Whitney, dan Uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara persepsi petani di Kecamatan Indrapuri dan Montasik. Petani di Kecamatan Indrapuri sudah menerapkan penerapan teknologi mesin tanam bibit secara berkesinambungan, sementara petani di Kecamatan Montasik belum sepenuhnya menerapkan teknologi ini. Karakteristik petani yang memiliki hubungan dengan persepsi adalah pendidikan, pengalaman, kepemilikan lahan, intensitas mengikuti pelatihan, dan pengeluaran biaya. Keyword: Karakteristik Petani, Persepsi, Mesin Tanam PadiÂ

The 2024 National Financial Literacy and Inclusion Survey shows that many Indonesians still do not understand financial fundamentals. This condition contributes to difficulty in managing personal finances. Therefore, financial education from an early age is needed to help people develop healthy financial habits. One effective medium for delivering financial education is a children’s savings book. However, most available savings books are less attractive and do not align with children’s preferences. This study aims to develop a children’s savings book design by integrating educational elements, such as a temporary money storage, based on users’ preferences. The Quality Function Deployment (QFD) approach was used to translate customer needs into product visualization. Data were collected through expert discussion, interviews, and questionnaires distributed using purposive sampling. The results show that the highest-priority feature for further development is the temporary money storage integrated into the book’s cover. This element was then incorporated into the children’s savings book design, while considering both functional and educational aspects.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk kesulitan belajar yang dialami mahasiswa dalam memahami dan menyelesaikan soal integral permukaan pada mata kuliah Kalkulus Vektor. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus terhadap tiga mahasiswa semester IV Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika di Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes tertulis dan wawancara semi-terstruktur, kemudian dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa mengalami dua bentuk utama kesulitan, yaitu kesulitan konseptual dan kesulitan prosedural. Kesulitan konseptual mencakup ketidakpahaman terhadap elemen luas permukaan, penentuan arah normal vektor, serta interpretasi permukaan parametrik. Sementara itu, kesulitan prosedural meliputi kesalahan dalam transformasi koordinat, teknik integrasi trigonometri, dan penentuan batas integral. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan pendekatan pengajaran yang lebih interaktif dan konseptual dalam materi integral permukaan.

Probiotics from West Sumatra curd have the potential to improve the production performance of local West Sumatra ducks, where Probiotics are live bacteria given as food sulpementation. Giving probiotics can have a beneficial effect on health where probiotics produce inhibitor compounds so that they can maximize the absorption of food in the intestines of livestock. The purpose of this study was to observe the production performance of ducks given probiotics. The design used was a randomized complete factorial method. The first factor (A) Dosage of probiotics (LAB) is with treatment A1: 1 ml (12.7 x 108 CFU/g); A2: 2 ml (25.4 x 108 CFU/g); A3: 3 ml (38.1 x 108 CFU/g). The second factor (B) is the frequency of probiotic administration, namely B1: 0 times; B2: 1 time; B3: 2 times; B4: 3 times; B5: 4 times; B6: 5 times; B7: 6 times, consisting of 4 replicates with a total of 346 ducks. The observed variables were food consumption, body weight gain, ration conversion, carcass percentage. The results of this study were the average food consumption at a dose of 3 ml with 5 times administration (995.79g). The highest average body weight gain (369.74 grams) dose of 1 ml and 5 times administration. The highest carcass percentage with a dose of 3 ml and a frequency of 5 times (72.63%).

Mathematics anxiety is a psychological barrier that negatively affects students’ performance and self-confidence. A valid and reliable measurement tool is required to identify this condition accurately. This study aims to examine the construct validity of the Mathematics Anxiety Rating Scale 30 (MARS-30) using a Monte Carlo simulation approach. The research employed first-order confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) through R software with a simulated sample of 300 respondents. The findings revealed that the overall measurement model achieved excellent fit indices, as indicated by Normed χ², RMSEA, SRMR, and CFI, all within the optimal range. Nevertheless, only 8 out of 30 items (26.7%) met the validity criteria, while the remaining 22 items were found invalid. This result suggests that although the global model fit was adequate, most items of MARS-30 did not consistently represent the construct of mathematics anxiety. The implication of this study highlights the necessity of revising the instrument by refining item wording, adjusting indicators, and conducting further testing to ensure stronger construct validity. A more valid instrument will enable educators and researchers to design targeted pedagogical interventions for reducing mathematics anxiety and supporting students’ learning outcomes.

This study was conducted to determine the effect of net income, cash flow from operations, and company size on dividend policy on basic and chemical sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2012-2016. The test was carried out using multiplle linear regression test with SPSS version 21. The study was conducted on 35 observations from annual reports of 7 companies samples from the selection by purposive sampling. Independent net income (X1), cash flow from operations (X2), and company size (X3) to dividend policy (Y). Companies that earn profits do not directly distribute dividends but are used for reinvestment. Companies with a limited amount of cash can distribute dividends in the from of stock dividends and large companies do not always distribute dividends because the economy is not stable so that the management of company funds is not effective. This situation makes the company prioritize the company’s growth.

This research aims to discuss education policies during the Ali Sastroamidjojo I Cabinet (1953-1955), including their impact on the Indonesian nation after independence. The research method used is the historical research method which includes the stages of heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The approach used in this paper uses the decolonization paradigm in the field of knowledge. The periodization in this study is limited from 1953 to 1955 in order to analyze more deeply the education policies implemented during the Ali Sastroamidjojo I Cabinet. The results of this study found that education policies during the Ali Sastroamidjojo I Cabinet succeeded in realizing Law Number 4 of 1950. This is represented by Yamin's actions as Minister of PP and K who continued and developed the Rentjana Peladjaran Terurai (1952) as the education curriculum during the Ali Cabinet. Yamin also supports additional assistance from the government for elementary, secondary, and vocational schools, including private schools. In addition, the opening of universities in 1954 that covered various disciplines also had an impact on Indonesia's educational climate, which became better than before.

Abstrak Dalam kurikulum Merdeka guru diberi kebebasan dalam memilih perangkat ajar yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan minat peserta didik. Guru tidak lagi terikat pada satu metode atau sumber ajar tertentu, melainkan dapat memanfaatkan berbagai sumber daya dan metode yang ada untuk menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih kaya dan relevan bagi setiap siswa. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan guru dalam merancang media aja yang lebih adaptif sesuai konteks pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi dan praktik. Adapun mitra sasaran yaitu guru-guru di TK IT Arrahman dengan jumlah peserta terdiri atas 15 orang. Hasil kegiatan menunjukan bahwa materi yang disampaikan, respon dan hubungan antara materi dengan kebutuhan peserta di apresiasi dengan kategori Sangat Baik oleh peserta. Teachers are no longer tied to one particular method or teaching resource but can utilize various existing resources and methods to create a richer and more relevant learning experience for each student. This community service activity aims to develop teacher skills in designing more adaptive learning media according to the learning context. The methods used in this community service activity are lectures, questions and answers, discussions, and practices. The target partners are teachers at TK IT Arrahman with a total of 15 participants. The results of the activity showed that the material presented, responses, and the relationship between the material and the needs of the participants were appreciated in the Very Good category by the participants.
