Abstract

Penelitian penurunan kadar asam lemak bebas (FFA) minyak kelapa sawit mentah (CPO) menggunakan adsorben zeolit dan bioarang sekam padi telah berhasil dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mempelajari pengaruh konsentrasi adsorben zeolit dan arang sekam padi terhadap kualitas CPO. Zeolit alam dan bioarang sekam padi sebelum digunakan sebagai adsorben terlebih dahulu diaktivasi dengan pencucian sampai dengan pH 7, selanjutnya bahan dikeringkan menggunakan oven selama2jam. CPO disaring dipisahkan dari kotoran yang ada. Proses adsorpsi dipelajari pada konsentrasi adsorben yaitu (15, 20, 25, 30, dan 35 %), dengan putaran pengaduk 270 rpm, selama 90 menit dan suhu 700o C. Dilakukan penyaringan antara zeolite dan CPO yang telah diadsorpsi. Produk adsorpsi dianalisa dengan mengukur kadar FFA, viskositas, dan kadar air. Hasil analisa menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan adsorben arang sekam padi diperoleh konsentrasi terbaik pada 35% dengan nilai FFA 5,36% pada dari kadar asam lemak bebas awal 6,61% atau penurunan kadar asam lemak bebasnya sebesar 1,25%, kadar air 0,02% dan viskositas 44,44 cP. Penggunaan adsorben zeolit terhadap massa CPO yang terbaik digunakan untuk mendapatkan kadar asam lemak bebas terendah adalah konsentrasi 30%. Diperoleh kadar FFA 5,85% dari kadar asam lemak bebas awal 6,61% atau penurunan kadar asam lemak bebasnya sebesar 0,7611%, kadar air 0,11% dan viskositas 41,05 cP

Abstract

In general, insurance is providing risk protection to the insurer, namely an insurance organization and an agreement agreed upon for a certain period of time. PT Sun Life Syariah Medan Branch is a Sharia general insurance organization located on Jl. Captain Jumhana No. 127, Sukaramai II, Kec. Medan Area, Medan City, North Sumatra. The aim of this research is to find out how to increase the efficiency and quality of superior Sharia general insurance products at PT Sun Life Syariah Medan Branch. The research method uses qualitative methods. The research results obtained are that the level of efficiency of an organization is not determined by the amount of total income, total expenditure, or the total capital owned by the company. However, on the contrary, it is influenced by the business's ability to maximize profits through the effective use of its own resources, which determines the level of efficiency. For this reason, it can be concluded that the Sun Life Financial Syariah Medan Branch organization has better management skills than traditional insurance organizations to design products optimally and minimize the costs required.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of domestic inflation, foreign inflation, BI rate and fed rate on the rupiah exchange rate. The observed data is data for the period 2000-2022. Methods of data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, and test the coefficient of determination. The regression equation in this study is Y = 5.885 - 0.29X1 + 0.156X2 + 0.229X3 - 0.016X4. Domestic inflation has a significant effect on the rupiah exchange rate, where from the t test the t sig value is obtained. 0.027 <0.05. Foreign inflation has a significant effect on the rupiah exchange rate, where from the t test the t sig value is obtained. 0.031 <0.05. The BI rate has a significant effect on the rupiah exchange rate, where from the t test the t sig value is obtained. 0.037 <0.05. Fed rate has a significant effect on the rupiah exchange rate, where from the t test the t sig value is obtained. 0.042 <0.05. Domestic inflation, foreign inflation, the BI rate and the fed rate simultaneously have a significant effect on the rupiah exchange rate, where the t test obtains the t sig value. 0.042 <0.05. Based on the test of the coefficient of determination, it is known that the variables of domestic inflation, foreign inflation, BI rate and fed rate affect the rupiah exchange rate by 59.1 percent, while the remaining 40.9 percent are influenced by other variables outside this research model..

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy and digital literacy on the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), specifically in the culinary sector in Rappocini District, Makassar City. The research method used is a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through surveys and questionnaires distributed to MSME actors in the Rappocini District, Makassar City. The research sample consists of 102 informants, calculated as 25% of the total population of 408 MSMEs in the area. The results of the study indicate that financial literacy and digital literacy have a significant impact on the growth of MSMEs. Financial literacy helps MSME owners manage their finances better, while digital literacy enables them to utilize technology for more efficient marketing and operations. The conclusion of this study is that increasing financial and digital literacy can substantially promote the growth of MSMEs. Therefore, it is recommended to have training and education programs focusing on these two aspects to support the sustainability and expansion of MSMEs in the Rappocini District.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of e-commerce in improving Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Makassar City. E-commerce has become an important tool in this digital era, providing wider market access and higher operational efficiency for MSMEs. The research method used is a quantitative approach by collecting data through questionnaires distributed to MSMEs in Makassar who have adopted e-commerce. The research results show that e-commerce significantly increases income, expands market reach, and reduces MSME operational costs. Apart from that, the use of e-commerce also contributes to increasing the competitiveness and sustainability of MSME businesses. These findings indicate that the adoption of e-commerce is an effective strategy to overcome market challenges and maximize the growth potential of MSMEs in Makassar City.

Abstract

Salah satu kegiatan yang dapat menambah pendapatan ibu-ibu rumah tangga adalah usaha home industri atau biasa disebut usaha rumahan pada pembuatan Fruit Jelly Ball. Proyek pembuatan produk jelly buah menggunakan bahan baku berupa buah-buahan yang dapat diperoleh dari petani lokal. Produk ini dapat menjadi produk fungsional yang berfungsi sebagai pelepas dahaga sekaligus pengganjal perut ketika lapar dan mempunyai potensi pasar yang besar untuk dikembangkan karena saat ini di kota-kota besar terjadi perpindahan pola konsumsi pangan yang cenderung ke arah pola konsumsi instan atau cepat saji. Maka dari itu, perlu diciptakannya produk kekinian yang lebih kreatif untuk meningkatkan harga jual pada jelly buah salah satunya dengan dilakukannya pengolahan jelly buah dengan berbahan baku buah -buahan asli dan berkualitas. Jelly buah memiliki potensi pasar yang luas karena dapat dinikmati oleh semua kalangan usia. Permintaan yang tinggi akan produk ini dapat memberikan manfaat ekonomi bagi masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi ceramah, tanya jawab atau diskusi, dan pelatihan. Adapun hasil yang didapatkan yaitu (1) Pelatihan pembuatan Fruit Jelly Ball direspon dengan baik oleh peserta; (2) Minat dan motivasi yang tinggi dari peserta pelatihan sangat menunjang transfer ilmu pengetahuan dan keterampilan dari pengabdi kepada peserta pelatihan, sehingga materi pelatihan yang diberikan dapat terserap semua; dan (3) Produk pelatihan pembuatan Fruit Jelly Ball dapat dikonsumsi sehari-hari dan dapat dijadikan sebagai produk berwirausaha.

Abstract

The influence of PT Wana Perintis' CSR to improve community welfare. To achieve this goal, PT Raja Marga must optimize CSR distribution to the community so that CSR runs smoothly. This research aims to determine the impact of the Implementation of Social Responsibility (CSR) on Community Welfare in Baru Village, Air Hita District. This research uses quantitative methods, with a sample of 93 respondents who are residents of Baru Village. The sample determination method uses the Purposive Sampling method. The data in the research were collected through questionnaires which were processed and analyzed using simple linear regression analysis using the SPSS program. The results in this study show a sig value. of the CSR (X) variable of 0.000 is smaller (<) 0.05 and the result of the T-calculated value of the CSR (X) variable is 5.102 greater (>) than the T-table value of 1.986 which states that the influence of PT's CSR. Wana Perintis has a significant impact on community welfare. From the CSR program it can be concluded that the third CSR fund of PT. Wana Perintis can have a positive impact on improving welfare for the people of Baru Village.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the connection between students' financial behavior or financial behavior and financial literacy and attitudes. Monetary proficiency alludes to's how understudies might interpret ideas and information connected with individual budget, while monetary perspectives mirror understudies' psychological and close to home mentalities towards cash, monetary administration and speculation. Adult students from a variety of social and economic backgrounds are asked to respond to a survey as part of this research method. The survey has questions about financial behavior, attitudes toward money, and financial literacy. The collected data were then analyzed using statistical techniques and SPSS to determine whether or not the variables of financial literacy, financial attitudes, and financial behavior were linked together. According to the findings of this study, financial literacy and attitudes toward prudent financial behavior are positively correlated. Students who have a high level of financial literacy are more likely to have positive financial attitudes, which in turn influence them to make better financial decisions and manage their personal finances more effectively. On the other hand, students who lack financial literacy or have negative financial attitudes are more likely to engage in poor financial behavior like overspending, not saving enough, and managing their debt in an unhealthy way.

Abstract

A small cassava chip business is a household business that produces snacks made from special cassava snacks. The single most important factor influencing the performance of small businesses in Singapore is their marketing strategy, which takes into account their products, prices, promotions and distribution locations. This research was conducted in the small business community of Bandar Khalipah Village in Percut Sei Tuan district. The purpose of this study was to understand the mix marketing strategies used by the Singapore government. Descriptive qualitative, data collection techniques with notes, and documentation are the methods used for analysis. Research results 1) the marketing mix strategy used by small businesses in Singapore is a product made with good quality materials, good quantity, has a handle, and is wrapped in plastic. The quoted price is equal to the price. The traditional promotional method still used in Cassava Chips is "lewd mouth to mouth" and "place/distribution channel" is "products marketed slim in the place of production then exist" i.e. "channeled to consumers" through "wholesalers". 2) Product and price are internal determining factors. Externally influenced factors include increased sales during peak hours, while internally influenced factors include sluggish production and promotion locations. External factors that become obstacles include business competitors and seasonal raw materials.

Abstract

This study intends to discuss the effect of the number of micro, small and medium enterprises and the level of labor absorption on economic growth in Langsa city. as objectives among others to determine the effect of the number of MSMEs on economic growth in Langsa City, and to determine the effect of the level of employment on economic growth in Langsa City. This thesis uses quantitative data with the Multiple Linear Regression data collection method. Based on the research conducted, the following results and conclusions were obtained: the number of micro, small and medium enterprises and the amount of employment did not simultaneously affect economic growth in Langsa City.
