Abstract

Computational thinking skills are one of the supporters of the achievement of 21st century skills. Computational thinking is recognised as the third pillar of science, along with theory and experimentation. This study aims to improve students’ computational thinking skill through implementation science module integrated with Google Colaboratory. Computational thinking skills in students can be improved through learning programming. Students must be guided to connect concepts and activities from students by creating computer programming. This research uses one group pretest-posttest, then the result will be analyzed using N-gain and paired sample test. The object of this research is 36 students in junior high school level. The result of this study shows that the mean of the pre-test score is 27,25 and the mean of the post-test score being 62,36 with the N-gain score is 0,48 in the moderate category. Results of paired sample test show a Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000, which is smaller than the threshold of 0.05. This result shows that the implementation of the learning module had a significant positive effect on improving computational thinking skills.

Abstract

Abstrak: Salah satu dimensi profil pelajar pancasila yang terpenting adalah bernalar kritis yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa. Nyatanya bernalar kritis pada siswa SMP masih rendah hal inilah yang membuat peneliti melakukan penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan E-LKPD Three Dimensional Thinking Graph. Pengembangan E-LKPD menggunakan model ADDIE (analys, Desingn,Develop,Implementation,Evaluation). Teknik dan instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket, observasi, tes, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Penerapan E-LKPD dilakukan pada 30 siswa dari kelas VIII SMPN 1 Tempeh, Lumajang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validasi E-LKPD memperoleh rerata persentase 90,83%(Valid), kepraktisan E-LKPD memperoleh rerata 92,35% (sangat praktis), keefektifan dilihat dari hasil N-gain dengan nilai 0,75 (Tinggi). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebt maka E-LKPD berbasis three dimensional thinking graph pada materi pesawat sederhana yang dikembangkan telah dinyatakan valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan bernalar kritis siswa SMP.Abstract: One of the most important dimensions of the Pancasila student profile was critical thinking, which students had to possess. In reality, critical thinking in SMP students was still low, which is why the researcher conducted this study. This research aims to describe the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the Three Dimensional Thinking Graph E-LKPD. The development of E-LKPD employed the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Research techniques and instruments used included questionnaires, observations, tests, documentation, and interviews. The development of E-LKPD used the ADDIE (analysis, design, develop, Implementation, Evaluation). The implementation of E-LKPD was carried out with 30 student From class VIlI of SMPN 1 Tempeh, Lumajang. The research rerults indicated that validation of E-LKPD obtained an average Percentage OF 90,83% (valid), the practicality of E - LKPD obtained an average of 92% (Very practical), and the effectivenes, as seen from the N-gain result, was 0,75 (High). Based on the results of the study the E-LKPD based on three dimensional thinking graph on Simple, aircraft material that was developed has been declared valid, practical and efective to improve critical thinking of junior high school students.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dimotivasi oleh masalah keterampilan proses sains siswa SMP yang masih rendah dalam pembelajaran sains. Salah satu cara untuk mengatasi masalah ini adalah dengan memanfaatkan penyediaan media pembelajaran dan materi pengajaran. Oleh karena itu, para peneliti mengembangkan modul berbasis SEPs (Science and Engineering Practices) untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses siswa SMP. Tujuannya adalah untuk menentukan tingkat validitas, praktikabilitas, dan efektivitas modul berbasis SEPs. Metode penelitian ini dikembangkan dengan model ADDIE. Sebanyak 28 siswa dari kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 10 Jember pada tahun akademik 2023/2024 dipilih sebagai subjek penelitian ini. Hasil analisis mengungkapkan bahwa validitas modul berbasis SEPs adalah 85,83%, termasuk dalam kategori valid. Analisis efektivitas modul berbasis SEPs menghasilkan skor 0,56, yang dikategorikan sebagai sedang. Analisis praktikabilitas modul berbasis SEPs menghasilkan skor 88,54%, termasuk dalam kategori sangat praktis. Mengenai tanggapan siswa, skornya adalah 82,18%, dikategorikan sebagai sangat baik. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul berbasis SEPs telah dinyatakan valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan KPS siswa SMP.Abstract:  This research was motivated by the problem of junior high school students' science process skills, which remained low in science learning. One way to address this issue was by utilizing the provision of learning media and teaching materials. So, the researchers developed a module based on SEPs (Scientific and Engineering Practices) to enhance the process skills of junior high school students. The goal was to determine the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of SEPs-based modules. This research method was developed with the ADDIE model. A total of 28 students from class VIII A SMP Negeri 10 Jember in the academic year 2023/2024 were selected as the subjects of this study. The analysis results revealed that the validity of the module based on SEPs was 85.83%, falling into the valid category. The analysis of the effectiveness of the SEPs-based module yielded a score of 0.56, categorized as moderate. The practicality analysis of the SEPs-based module resulted in a score of 88.54%, falling into the very practical category. Regarding student response, the score was 82.18%, categorized as very good. Therefore, it can be concluded that the SEP-based module has been deemed valid, highly practical, and effective in improving the science process skills of junior high school students.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan kondisi gagal tumbuh pada balita sehingga tinggi badannya sangat pendek bagi seusianya Kurangnya asupan gizi, terutama protein, memiliki kaitan langsung dengan kejadian stunting. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kandungan protein dalam soyghurt edamame untuk dijadikan makanan pendamping alternatif bagi penderita stunting serta memenuhi standar SNI 2981:2009. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk penelitian empiris yang dilakukan berdasarkan analisis data hasil percobaan di laboratorium. Percobaan ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) menggunakan variasi perlakuan pada sari edamame, susu skim, serta starter.  Sampel A diberi perlakuan 5 (% b/v) susu skim, 87 (% v/v) sari edamame, dan 3 (% b/v) starter. Sampel B diberi perlakuan 10 (% b/v) susu skim, 80 (% v/v) sari edamame, dan 5 (% b/v starter). Sampel C diberi perlakuan 15 (% b/v) susu skim, 73 (% v/v) sari edamame, dan 7 (% b/v starter). Uji protein dilakukan menggunakan metode Kjeldahl. Perbedaan kombinasi perlakuan menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil uji protein. Hasil uji protein sampel A sebesar 3.5947%, sampel B sebesar 3.3947%, dan sampel C sebesar 6.8143%. Ketiga perlakuan memenuhi syarat mutu yoghurt menurut SNI 2981:2009, yang menetapkan protein minimal sebanyak 2,7%. Perlakuan terbaik yang potensial sebagai MP-ASI alternatif bagi penderita stunting adalah perlakuan C yang mengandung protein sebesar 6.8143%

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengembangkan aplikasi untuk menginformasikan mahasiswa tentang ruang kelas kosong yang tersedia pada hari tertentu, khususnya akibat perubahan jadwal pengajaran dosen. Banyak perguruan tinggi mengalami masalah ketidaksesuaian jadwal kuliah yang mengakibatkan ruang kelas kosong tidak terpakai dan membingungkan mahasiswa dalam menyesuaikan jadwal. Aplikasi yang dikembangkan bertujuan memberikan pemberitahuan real-time mengenai ruang kelas kosong atau kelas yang tidak terjadwal akibat perubahan jadwal dosen. Pendekatan sistem informasi berbasis web yang mengintegrasikan data jadwal kuliah dan ruang kelas dengan aplikasi mobile digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini efektif meningkatkan pemanfaatan ruang kelas kosong, membantu mahasiswa mengatur waktu dengan lebih efisien, dan mengurangi kebingungan akibat perubahan jadwal mendadak. Kesimpulannya, aplikasi ini memberikan solusi praktis dalam manajemen ruang kelas di perguruan tinggi, memungkinkan penggunaan ruang yang lebih optimal, dan meningkatkan pengalaman belajar mahasiswa. Pengembangan sistem ini menggunakan Metode Agile, yang menekankan fleksibilitas, kolaborasi tim, dan iterasi cepat. Proyek dibagi menjadi bagian-bagian kecil yang dikerjakan dalam siklus pendek (sprint), memungkinkan tim untuk beradaptasi dengan perubahan kebutuhan dan umpan balik yang diterima

Abstract

This study aims to produce e-modules for science lessons that are valid, practical, and effective to improve junior high school students' digital literacy and learning outcomes. This study used research and development methods with the ADDIE model. The data collection techniques were observation, interviews, validation sheets, student activity sheets using e-modules, learning outcomes tests, digital literacy assessment rubrics, student response questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this study were validity test techniques, practicality tests and effectiveness tests. The results of the validation data analysis obtained a validation value of 91% with a very valid category, including aspects of content and construct validation. The practicality analysis results obtained a value of 91.20% with an efficient category. The results of the effectiveness analysis were based on the increase in learning outcomes, which resulted in an n-gain of 0.61 with a moderate category. Meanwhile, the results of the effectiveness analysis based on the ability of digital literacy indicators got an n-gain of 0.71 with a high category. The results of the effectiveness analysis were seen from student questionnaires, which scored 83.23% in the excellent category. Thus, the e-module product that has been developed is said to be feasible to be implemented in junior high school science learning to improve digital literacy and learning outcomes of junior high school students.

Abstract

Scientific literacy is the ability to actively participate in discussions and understanding issues related to science and scientific ideas, serving as a form of participation as an informed citizen. The objective of this research is to examine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of a student worksheets based on the engineering design process (EDP). The research type and design fall under research and development (R&D) and have been developed using the ADDIE research design through the steps of Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. Data collection included validation and student response questionnaires, implementation sheets, and scientific literacy tests to assess validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The validation questionnaire is used to measure validity, the student response questionnaire is used to determine student responses, the implementation sheet is used to assess the feasibility of the learning process, and the science literacy test is used to assess the improvement in students' scientific literacy. The validity analysis yielded a result of 90%, categorizing the EDP-based student worksheets as very valid. The practicality score of 86% demonstrates that the worksheets are highly practical for use in learning environments. Additionally, the effectiveness, measured through an N-gain value of 0.76, indicates a significant improvement in students’ scientific literacy. The student response questionnaire results, with an 84% score, reflect a very positive reception from students. These findings collectively confirm that the EDP-based student worksheets are valid, practical, and effective tools for enhancing scientific literacy among junior high school students. These results suggest that EDP-based worksheets can be a valuable tool for fostering scientific literacy among junior high school students, equipping them with the skills to engage in scientific discussions and make informed decisions as active citizens.

Abstract

A single specimen of Bostrychus scalaris was collected from the mangrove estuary of Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra, Indonesia. The species was originally described as a new species based on a single specimen collected from the disturbed mangrove site in Sementa River, Selangor State, Malaysia. Subsequently, the species was known to have been distributed in Singapore based on a watercolour painting by a French naturalist also in Mekong River in Soc Trang Province, Vietnam. The present specimen of B. scalaris represents the first record of the species from Indonesian water and southernmost record of the species.

Abstract

This bibliometric analysis study explores the evolving landscape of open innovation strategies within multinational collaborations over the last two decades. Utilizing data extracted from the Scopus database, this research maps out the thematic and collaborative networks to understand how open innovation has been integrated into different research areas and industries. Key themes such as knowledge management, technology transfer, and sustainable development were identified as closely linked to open innovation. The study also highlights significant geographic distributions, pinpointing the United States, China, and several European countries as central nodes in the global research network. These countries not only dominate the field in terms of publications but also in their roles in fostering international academic collaborations. The findings suggest that open innovation is a vibrant and integral part of modern business strategies and research, benefiting significantly from multinational and interdisciplinary collaborations. This study contributes to the literature by providing a comprehensive overview of the field’s evolution, highlighting influential researchers and identifying emerging trends that could guide future research directions.

Abstract

Islamic banks have a strategic task to encourage economic growth and national progress. The greater the contribution of banking, it is estimated that the more advanced a country’s economy will be. As a financial institution, Islamic banks must also pay attention to their performance to operate well and develop rapidly in Indonesia, one of which is by paying attention to financial performance through financial reports. Profitability is an assessment aspect used to measure bank performance in generating profits. This study aims to determine the results of the effect of mudharabah and musyarakah financing on bank profitability as measured using ROA by comparing the company's net income with the total assets it has as a whole. The data analysis method uses secondary data obtained from the monthly financial statement data of Islamic Banks on mudharabah financing and musyarakah financing with the help of SPSS 27 software. The results showed that mudharabah and musyarakah financing had a positive and significant effect on the profitability of Islamic Banks in 2018-2022. This shows that the increasing value of the contract distributed also contributes to increased profitability. It is hoped that a significant increase in profitability can attract investors to invest more in Islamic Banks.
